వార్తాలీ వారాహీ దేవ్యె నమః|

💐 ఎర్రని పద్మము యొక్క మధ్య భాగమున (కర్ణిక) ఆసీనురాలైనట్టి, శవమునే ఆసనముగా (శావాసనే) కలిగినట్టి, ముండమాలతో (కపాల మాల) శోభిల్లే హృదయము కలిగినట్టి, ఇంద్రనీల మణి వంటి నల్లని కాంతి కలిగినట్టి దేవిని స్తుతిస్తున్నాను. తన నాలుగు హస్తములలో ముసలము (రోకలి), హలము (నాగలి), అభయ మరియు వరద ముద్రలను ధరించి, ఎర్రటి వస్త్రములతో (అరుణాంబరాం), మూడు కన్నులతో, వరాహ ముఖముతో వెలిగిపోతున్న వార్తాలీ దేవికి నమస్కరిస్తున్నాను.

రక్తామశ్వాధిరూఢాం శశిధరశకలాబద్ధమౌలిం త్రినేత్రాం

పాశేనాబధ్య సాధ్యాం స్మరశరవివశాం దక్షిణేనానయంతీమ్|

హస్తేనాన్యేన వేత్రం వరకనకమయం ధారయంతీం మనోజ్ఞాం

దేవీం ధ్యాయేదజస్రం కుచభరనమితాం దివ్యహారాభిరామామ్ ||

అశ్వారూఢా వారాహీ దేవ్యె నమః |

💐 ఎర్రని రంగు కలిగిన గుర్రమును అధిరోహించినట్టి, చంద్రకళను కిరీటమున ధరించినట్టి, మూడు కన్నులు కలిగినట్టి దేవిని ధ్యానిస్తున్నాను. ఒక చేతితో పాశమును ధరించి, దానితో సాధ్యులను (శత్రువులను లేదా సాధించవలసిన వారిని) కట్టివేసి, తన వైపుకు లాక్కుంటున్నట్టి; మరొక చేతితో బంగారు వేత్రమును (బెత్తమును) ధరించినట్టి; దివ్యమైన హారములతో, మనోహరమైన రూపముతో ప్రకాశించే అశ్వారూఢా వారాహీ దేవిని నిరంతరం ధ్యానిస్తున్నాను.

వారాహీ ధూమ్రవర్ణా చ భక్షయంతీ రిపూన్ సదా |

పశురూపాన్ మునిసురైర్వందితాం ధూమ్రరూపిణీమ్ ||

ధూమ్ర వారాహీ దేవ్యె నమః |

💐 ధూమ్ర వర్ణము (పొగ రంగు) కలిగినట్టి, పశుప్రవృత్తి కలిగిన రిపూలను (శత్రువులను) ఎల్లప్పుడూ భక్షించేట్టి (అనగా సంహరించేట్టి), మునులు మరియు దేవతలచే వందించబడేటి, పొగ వంటి ఆకారము కలిగినట్టి ధూమ్ర వారాహీ దేవికి నమస్కరిస్తున్నాను.

నమస్తే అస్త్రవారాహి వైరిప్రాణాపహారిణి |

గోకంఠమివ శార్దూలో గజకంఠం యథా హరిః

శత్రురూపపశూన్ హత్వా ఆశు మాంసం చ భక్షయ ||

వారాహి త్వాం సదా వందే వంద్యే చాస్త్రస్వరూపిణీ||

అస్త్ర వారాహీ దేవ్యె నమః||

💐 వైరుల (శత్రువుల) ప్రాణాలను అపహరించే ఓ అస్త్ర వారాహీ! నీకు నమస్కారము. పులి ఆవు మెడను పట్టుకున్నట్లుగా, సింహం ఏనుగు కుంభస్థలాన్ని చీల్చినట్లుగా… నీవు కూడా శత్రువులనే పశువులను హతమార్చి, వెంటనే వారి మాంసమును భక్షించుము (అనగా శత్రువులను నామరూపాలు లేకుండా చేయుము). అందరిచే పూజించబడేట్టి, అస్త్ర స్వరూపిణివైన నీకు ఎల్లప్పుడూ వందనం చేస్తున్నాను.

5. సుముఖీ వారాహీ

గుంజానిర్మితహారభూషితకుచాం సద్యౌవనోల్లాసినీం

హస్తాభ్యాం నృకపాలఖడ్గలతికే రమ్యే ముదా బిభ్రతీమ్ ||

రక్తాలంకృతివస్త్రలేపనలసద్దేహప్రభాం ధ్యాయతాం

నౄణాం శ్రీసుముఖీం శవాసనగతాం స్యుః సర్వదా సంపదః ||

సుముఖీ వారాహీ దేవ్యె నమః |

💐 గురిగింజలతో (గుంజా) చేసిన హారములను ధరించినట్టి, నిత్య యవ్వనంతో ఉల్లాసంగా ప్రకాశించేట్టి, తన రెండు హస్తములలో నర కపాలమును మరియు ఖడ్గమును ఆనందముతో ధరించినట్టి దేవిని ధ్యానిస్తున్నాను. ఎర్రని అలంకారములు, ఎర్రని వస్త్రములు, ఎర్రని గంధమును పూసుకుని ప్రకాశిస్తున్న దేహ కాంతి కలిగినట్టి, శవమునే ఆసనముగా చేసుకున్నట్టి శ్రీ సుముఖీ వారాహీ దేవిని ధ్యానించే వారికి ఎల్లప్పుడూ సంపదలు కలుగుతాయి.

విద్యుద్రోచిర్హస్తపద్మైర్దధానాపాశం శక్తిం ముద్గరం చాంకుశం చ |

నేత్రోద్భూతైర్వీతిహోత్రైస్త్రినేత్రా వారాహీ నః శత్రువర్గం క్షిణోతు ||

నిగ్రహ వారాహీ దేవ్యె నమః |

💐 మెరుపు తీగ వంటి కాంతి కలిగిన తన హస్త పద్మములలో పాశమును, శక్తిని, ముద్గరమును (గద వంటి ఆయుధం) మరియు అంకుశమును ధరించినట్టి; తన మూడు కన్నుల నుండి అగ్నిని (వీతిహోత్రైః) వెదజల్లేట్టి వారాహీ దేవి మన శత్రువుల సమూహాన్ని పూర్తిగా నశింపజేయుగాక.

బిభ్రాణాం స్వకరాంబుజైరసిలతాం చర్మాసి పాశం సృణిం

వారాహీమనుచింతయేద్ధయవరారూఢాం శుభాలంకృతిమ్ ||

స్వప్న వారాహీ దేవ్యె నమః |

💐 నల్లని మేఘం వంటి రంగు కలిగినట్టి, మూడు కన్నులతో ప్రకాశించేట్టి, వరాహ ముఖము కలిగినట్టి (కోలాస్యాం), శిరస్సున చంద్రుడిని ధరించినట్టి, తన కోరల చివర భూమండలాన్ని మోస్తున్నట్టి దేవిని తలుచుకుంటున్నాను. తన హస్తములలో ఖడ్గము, చర్మము (డాలు), పాశము మరియు అంకుశములను ధరించి, శ్రేష్ఠమైన గుర్రమును (హయవర) అధిరోహించి, దివ్యమైన అలంకారములతో ఉన్న స్వప్న వారాహీ దేవిని ధ్యానిస్తున్నాను.

తారే తారిణి దేవి విశ్వజననీ ప్రౌఢప్రతాపాన్వితే

తారే దిక్షు విపక్షపక్షదలిని వాచాచలా వారుణీ |

లక్ష్మీకారిణీ కీర్తిధారిణి మహాసౌభాగ్యసంధాయిని

రూపం దేహి యశశ్చ సతతం వశ్యం జగత్యావృతమ్ ||

వశ్య వారాహీ దేవ్యె నమః

💐 ఓ తారే! తారిణీ దేవి! విశ్వజననీ! గొప్ప ప్రతాపము కలిగినట్టి, దిక్కులన్నిటా ఉన్న విరోధులను అణచివేసేట్టి, స్థిరమైన వాక్కును ఇచ్చేట్టి, మద్యం (వారుణీ) వంటి మత్తును శత్రువులకు కలిగించేట్టి దేవీ! నీవు లక్ష్మిని (సంపదను), కీర్తిని, మహా సౌభాగ్యాన్ని ప్రసాదించేదానివి. ఓ జననీ! నాకు రూపమును (తేజస్సును), యశస్సును మరియు ఈ సమస్త జగత్తు నాకు వశమయ్యే శక్తిని నిరంతరం అనుగ్రహించుము.

💐 ఘరఘర శబ్దము చేసే వరసహ ముఖము కలిగినట్టి, శత్రువుల పట్ల కుటిలమైన ఆలోచన కలిగినట్టి, ప్రళయ కాల మేఘాల చాటున ఉన్న సూర్యుడి వలె అమితమైన తేజస్సు కలిగినట్టి, నల్లని వర్ణముతో ఉగ్రంగా ఉన్నట్టి దేవిని ధ్యానిస్తున్నాను. పొడవైన నీలి రంగు రోమములతో (వెండ్రుకలతో), ఉగ్రమైన ఖడ్గము మరియు దండమును ధరించి, మూడు లోకములకు తల్లియైనట్టి ఆ క్రోడముఖీ (వారాహీ) ఈశ్వరిని ధ్యానిస్తున్నాను.

💐 ఎర్రని పద్మముపై, శ్రేష్ఠమైన ప్రేతమును ఆసనముగా (ప్రేతవరాసనస్థాం) చేసుకుని కూర్చున్నట్టి; వీరాసన భంగిమలో (ఆర్భటికాసనస్థాం) ఉన్నట్టి; తన కోరలతో ప్రకాశించే వరాహ ముఖారవిందము కలిగినట్టి; కిరీటమున చంద్రకళను (హిమాంశురేఖామ్) ధరించినట్టి దేవికి నమస్కరిస్తున్నాను. తన ఎడమ చేతులలో హలము (నాగలి), కపాలమును, కుడి చేతులలో ముసలము (రోకలి) మరియు ఇష్టమును (కోరిన వరమును/వరద ముద్ర) ధరించినట్టి; ఎర్రని వస్త్రములు, ఎర్రని ఉత్తరీయము కలిగినట్టి; పగడపు చెవి పోగులు (ప్రవాలకర్ణాభరణాం) ధరించిన మూడు కన్నుల దేవికి నమస్కారము. నల్లని (శ్యామాం) ఛాయ కలిగి, సమస్త ఆభరణములతో అలంకరించబడి, నక్కలతో (సృగాఢ్యాం - వారాహీ దేవి వాహనాలలో నక్క కూడా ఒకటి) కూడి ఉన్న బృహద్వారాహీ దేవికి నిత్యం ప్రణామం చేస్తున్నాను.

💐 అప్పుడే ఉదయించిన సూర్యుని వలె ఎర్రగా ఉన్న పద్మము యొక్క గర్భమున (మధ్యలో) నివసించేట్టి; ఇంద్రనీలమణి వలె గొప్ప తేజస్సుతో ప్రకాశించేట్టి; విశ్వమునకే తల్లియైనట్టి (విశ్వమాతమ్) దేవిని ధ్యానిస్తున్నాను. కదంబ పుష్పముల మాలలను, నవరత్న ఆభరణాలను ధరించినట్టి; వెలకట్టలేని రత్నములతో కూడిన కిరీటముతో విరాజిల్లేట్టి; పట్టు వస్త్రమును ధరించి, అందమైన పగడపు మణుల అలంకారములు కలిగినట్టి దేవికి నమస్కారము.

The Balkampet Yellamma Talli Rathotsavam in Telangana is far more than just a temple festival. It is a magnificent celebration that brings together centuries of history, mythology, village deity worship, Telangana's rich folk traditions, and deep devotional practices. Celebrated every year during the Bonalu festival, this grand Rathotsavam has a unique historical background as well as a fascinating mythological story associated with the incarnation of Goddess Yellamma.

The Balkampet Yellamma Talli Temple is believed to date back to the 15th century. According to local tradition, while digging a well in the area, a self-manifested stone idol of the Goddess was discovered about ten feet beneath the ground. Several attempts were made to move the idol, but all proved unsuccessful. This was regarded as the divine will of the Goddess, and a temple was constructed at the very spot where the idol was found. Even today, the Goddess resides below ground level amidst natural underground springs. For this reason, devotees also worship Her as "Jaladurgā" (The Goddess of Sacred Waters). It is widely believed that the holy water within the temple possesses medicinal properties and can cure various ailments, including skin diseases.

The most famous mythological legend associated with Yellamma Talli is linked to Goddess Renuka Devi, the wife of Sage Jamadagni and the mother of Lord Parashurama. According to the legend, Sage Jamadagni, in a moment of anger, ordered his sons to behead their mother. While the other sons refused, Lord Parashurama obeyed his father's command and beheaded Renuka Devi. Later, pleased with his obedience, Jamadagni offered him a boon.

Parashurama requested that his mother be restored to life. According to the traditional narrative, Renuka Devi's head was mistakenly placed on another woman's body, resulting in the manifestation of a unique divine form. This divine Mother came to be worshipped as "Yellamma." Hence, devotees lovingly revere Her as "The Mother of All," "Jagadamba," and "Renuka Yellamma."

Historical traditions also suggest that the Balkampet region was an important village long before the rule of the Nizams in Hyderabad. During the Nizam period, the temple received royal patronage and underwent significant renovation around 1919. Since then, it has become one of the oldest and most revered Shakti Peethas in Hyderabad.

Among all the festivals dedicated to Yellamma Talli, the Rathotsavam, held after the annual celestial wedding (Kalyanotsavam), is the most magnificent. Spiritually, the chariot procession symbolizes the Goddess emerging from the sanctum to personally bless Her devotees. Beautifully decorated with flowers, festoons, and colorful lights, the divine chariot carries the Goddess through the streets surrounding the temple. Thousands of devotees enthusiastically pull the chariot while chanting "Jai Yellamma Talli," filling the atmosphere with devotion and spiritual fervor.

Yellamma Talli also occupies a special place in the Bonalu tradition of Telangana. Following the Golconda Bonalu celebrations, the Balkampet Bonalu, Yellamma Talli Kalyanam, and Rathotsavam are celebrated with great grandeur and attract devotees from across the state. Women offer Bonam to the Goddess, while the energetic performances of Pothuraju, the rhythmic beats of traditional drums, and vibrant folk dances add immense cultural splendor to the celebrations.

Devotees firmly believe that pulling the sacred chariot removes sins and brings divine blessings in the form of health, prosperity, children, peace, and happiness. After the fulfillment of their vows, many devotees express their gratitude by offering Bonam, conducting special pujas, and organizing Annadanam (free community meals), a tradition that has continued for generations.

Thus, the Balkampet Yellamma Talli Rathotsavam is not merely a ceremonial procession. It is a divine festival that reflects nearly seven centuries of history, the sacred legend of Renuka-Yellamma, the enduring tradition of Telangana's village deity worship, the unwavering faith of millions of devotees, and the spirit of social harmony. Every year, it attracts lakhs of pilgrims and continues to preserve and celebrate Telangana's rich spiritual heritage.

May this sacred festival, which beautifully reflects the soul of Telangana, continue to inspire future generations with its timeless message of devotion, culture, and unity.

తెలంగాణలోని బల్కంపేట ఎల్లమ్మ తల్లి రథోత్సవం కేవలం ఒక ఆలయ ఉత్సవం మాత్రమే కాదు. ఇది శతాబ్దాల చరిత్ర, పురాణ గాథ, గ్రామదేవత ఆరాధన, తెలంగాణ జానపద సంస్కృతి, భక్తి సంప్రదాయాల సమ్మేళనంగా నిలిచిన మహోత్సవం. ప్రతి సంవత్సరం బోనాల పర్వదినాలలో జరిగే ఈ రథోత్సవం వెనుక ఒక విశిష్టమైన చారిత్రక నేపథ్యం, అలాగే పురాణాల్లో చెప్పబడిన ఎల్లమ్మ తల్లి అవతార కథ ఉంది.

బల్కంపేట ఎల్లమ్మ తల్లి ఆలయం సుమారు 15వ శతాబ్దానికి చెందినదిగా విశ్వసించబడుతోంది. స్థానిక కథనం ప్రకారం, ఆ ప్రాంతంలో ఒక బావిని తవ్వుతున్న సమయంలో భూమికి దాదాపు పది అడుగుల లోతులో స్వయంభువుగా వెలసిన అమ్మవారి శిలారూపం కనిపించింది. ఆ విగ్రహాన్ని అక్కడి నుంచి కదిలించేందుకు చేసిన ప్రయత్నాలు విఫలమయ్యాయి. దానిని దైవ సంకల్పంగా భావించి, విగ్రహం ఉన్న అదే ప్రదేశంలో ఆలయాన్ని నిర్మించారు. ఈ కారణంగానే నేటికీ అమ్మవారు భూమి మట్టానికి దిగువన, సహజ జలధారల మధ్య కొలువై ఉంటారు. అందువల్ల ఆమెను "జలదుర్గ" అని కూడా భక్తులు ఆరాధిస్తారు. ఆలయంలోని పవిత్ర జలానికి ఔషధ గుణాలు ఉన్నాయని, చర్మవ్యాధులు సహా అనేక రోగాలు తొలగుతాయని భక్తుల విశ్వాసం.

ఎల్లమ్మ తల్లి గురించి ప్రసిద్ధమైన పురాణ గాథ రేణుకాదేవితో ముడిపడి ఉంది. మహర్షి జమదగ్ని భార్య రేణుకాదేవి, పరశురాముని తల్లి. ఒక సందర్భంలో జమదగ్ని ఆగ్రహంతో తన కుమారులను తల్లిని సంహరించమని ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు. అందరూ తిరస్కరించగా, పరశురాముడు తండ్రి ఆజ్ఞను పాటించి రేణుకాదేవిని శిరచ్ఛేదం చేశాడు. అనంతరం జమదగ్ని ప్రసన్నుడై వరం కోరమన్నప్పుడు, పరశురాముడు తన తల్లిని తిరిగి బ్రతికించాలని కోరాడు. కథనం ప్రకారం, రేణుకాదేవి తలను పొరపాటున మరో స్త్రీ శరీరానికి అమర్చడం వల్ల ఒక ప్రత్యేక దైవస్వరూపం అవతరించింది. ఆ జగజ్జనని రూపమే కాలక్రమేణా "ఎల్లమ్మ"గా ప్రజల ఆరాధన పొందిందని విశ్వసిస్తారు. అందుకే ఎల్లమ్మ తల్లిని "అందరికీ తల్లి", "జగదాంబ", "రేణుకా ఎల్లమ్మ" అని భక్తులు పిలుస్తారు.

హైదరాబాద్ ప్రాంత చరిత్రలో బల్కంపేట ప్రాంతం నిజాం పాలనకు ముందే ప్రముఖ గ్రామంగా ఉండేదని స్థానిక సంప్రదాయాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. తరువాత నిజాం కాలంలో ఆలయానికి అభివృద్ధి కలిగి, 1919 ప్రాంతంలో ఆలయ నిర్మాణం పునర్నిర్మించబడింది. అప్పటి నుండి ఈ ఆలయం హైదరాబాద్‌లోని అత్యంత ప్రాచీన శక్తి పీఠాలలో ఒకటిగా ఎదిగింది.

ఎల్లమ్మ తల్లి ఉత్సవాలలో అత్యంత వైభవంగా జరిగేది వార్షిక కళ్యాణోత్సవం అనంతరం నిర్వహించే రథోత్సవం. ఈ రథయాత్రకు ఒక ప్రత్యేకమైన ఆధ్యాత్మిక భావన ఉంది. ఆలయంలోని గర్భగృహంలో కొలువైన అమ్మవారు స్వయంగా తన భక్తులను ఆశీర్వదించేందుకు బయటకు విచ్చేస్తున్నారనే భావంతో ఈ రథోత్సవాన్ని నిర్వహిస్తారు. పుష్పాలు, తోరణాలు, దీపాలతో అలంకరించిన రథంలో అమ్మవారిని ప్రతిష్ఠించి ఆలయ పరిసర వీధుల్లో ఊరేగిస్తారు. వేలాది మంది భక్తులు రథాన్ని లాగుతూ "జై ఎల్లమ్మ తల్లి" నినాదాలతో భక్తి పారవశ్యంలో పాల్గొంటారు.

తెలంగాణ బోనాల సంప్రదాయంలో కూడా బల్కంపేట ఎల్లమ్మ తల్లికి ప్రత్యేక స్థానం ఉంది. గోల్కొండ బోనాల అనంతరం జరిగే బల్కంపేట బోనాలు, ఎల్లమ్మ తల్లి కళ్యాణం, రథోత్సవం రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రసిద్ధి చెందాయి. మహిళలు బోనం సమర్పించడం, పోతురాజుల విన్యాసాలు, డప్పుల నాదం, జానపద కళారూపాలు ఈ ఉత్సవానికి ప్రత్యేక శోభను తెస్తాయి.

రథాన్ని లాగడం వల్ల పాపక్షయం కలుగుతుందని, కుటుంబంలో ఆరోగ్యం, ఐశ్వర్యం, సంతానం, శాంతి లభిస్తాయని భక్తులు విశ్వసిస్తారు. తమ మొక్కులు నెరవేరిన తరువాత అనేక మంది భక్తులు అన్నదానం చేయడం, బోనాలు సమర్పించడం, ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించడం ఆనవాయితీగా కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు.

ఈ విధంగా బల్కంపేట ఎల్లమ్మ తల్లి రథోత్సవం ఒక సాధారణ ఊరేగింపు కాదు. ఇది సుమారు ఏడు శతాబ్దాల చరిత్రను, రేణుకా-ఎల్లమ్మ పురాణాన్ని, తెలంగాణ గ్రామదేవత ఆరాధనను, ప్రజల అచంచల భక్తిని, సామాజిక ఐక్యతను ప్రతిబింబించే దివ్య మహోత్సవం. ప్రతి సంవత్సరం లక్షలాది మంది భక్తులను ఆకర్షిస్తూ, తెలంగాణ ఆధ్యాత్మిక వారసత్వాన్ని నేటికీ సజీవంగా నిలబెడుతోంది.

తెలంగాణ ఆత్మను ప్రతిబింబించే ఈ దివ్య ఉత్సవం భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు కూడా స్ఫూర్తిదాయకంగా నిలవాలని ప్రతి భక్తుడు మనస్ఫూర్తిగా కోరుకుంటాడు.

In the eternal tradition of Sanatana Dharma, Goddess Parvathi Devi is revered as the Universal Mother, Adi Shakti (Primordial Divine Energy), and the embodiment of compassion and grace. On the sacred occasion of Parvathi Devi Jayanthi, devotees worship the Divine Mother with profound devotion and seek her blessings. This holy day is not merely a festival; it is a celebration of divine power, unconditional love, patience, austerity (Tapas), righteousness (Dharma), and the boundless grace of the Goddess. The scriptures declare that remembering and worshipping Parvathi Devi on this auspicious day brings spiritual awakening, harmony in family life, peace, prosperity, and abundant auspiciousness.

Goddess Parvathi was born as the daughter of King Himavan (the Lord of the Himalayas) and Queen Mena, and is therefore lovingly known by many sacred names such as Haimavathi, Girija, Shailaja, Uma, Gauri, Bhavani, and Ambika. In her previous birth, she incarnated as Sati Devi. Unable to bear the insult shown to Lord Shiva during King Daksha's grand sacrifice (Yajna), she relinquished her mortal body through yogic fire. For the welfare of the universe, she was reborn as Parvathi and performed extraordinary austerities to attain Lord Shiva as her eternal consort.

The penance performed by Parvathi Devi is regarded as one of the greatest acts of spiritual austerity in the history of Indian spirituality. Though born a princess, she renounced every royal comfort and spent years in forests observing severe disciplines while meditating upon Lord Shiva. Her unwavering devotion, pure love, steadfast determination, and infinite patience finally pleased Lord Shiva, culminating in their divine marriage. This sacred union symbolizes far more than the bond between husband and wife—it represents the eternal union of Purusha and Prakriti, Consciousness and Divine Energy, Shiva and Creation, the very foundation of the cosmos.

Parvathi Devi blesses humanity through many divine manifestations. As Gauri, she bestows auspiciousness and marital bliss. As Durga, she destroys evil forces and protects righteousness. As Kali, she annihilates ignorance and adharma. As Annapurna, she nourishes the world and symbolizes the sacred gift of food. As Lalita Tripura Sundari, she reveals the supreme beauty and wisdom of the Divine Mother. As Rajarajeshwari, she compassionately governs the entire universe. Though these forms appear different, the scriptures proclaim that they are all manifestations of the same Supreme Adi Shakti.

On Parvathi Devi Jayanthi, devotees perform sacred ablutions (Abhishekam), Kumkum Archana, and special worship to the Divine Mother. They recite revered scriptures such as the Lalita Sahasranama, Devi Mahatmyam, and Durga Saptashati. Married women pray for marital bliss and family welfare, families seek peace and prosperity, young people pray for virtuous life partners, and spiritual aspirants seek wisdom, inner strength, and divine realization. The Puranas state that prayers, charity, and spiritual practices performed on this auspicious day yield immense spiritual merit.

From a spiritual perspective, Parvathi Devi symbolizes the Kundalini Shakti—the divine spiritual energy that lies dormant within every human being. Through yoga, devotion, meditation, and self-discipline, this sacred energy awakens and ultimately unites with Shiva Consciousness, which is regarded as the supreme goal of human life in the Tantric and Yogic traditions. Thus, the sages teach that without Shakti, Shiva is Shava (lifeless); only when Shiva and Shakti unite does creation, preservation, and dissolution of the universe become possible. This profound truth serves as a guiding light for every spiritual seeker on the path to self-realization.

The life of Parvathi Devi teaches humanity the timeless virtues of devotion, patience, sacrifice, courage, love, and unwavering determination.

Her divine story reminds us that no obstacle is insurmountable for one who walks the path of Dharma with faith and perseverance. She inspires us to cultivate mutual respect, love, unity, purity, and spiritual values within our families and society, leading us toward a life filled with divine grace and inner fulfillment.

Amavasya (the New Moon day) holds a place of great importance in Hindu Dharma. Among all Amavasyas, Darsha Amavasya occurring during the sacred month of Ashadha is regarded as especially auspicious from Vedic, Puranic, and spiritual perspectives. This holy day is observed with three distinct significances—Darsha Amavasya, Ashadha Amavasya, and Anvadhaan. According to the scriptures, the convergence of these three sacred observances makes this day particularly ideal for honoring one's ancestors, preserving Vedic sacrificial traditions, and engaging in deep spiritual introspection.

The name Darsha Amavasya has been known since the Vedic age. It derives from the Darsha Yajna, a sacred Vedic ritual traditionally performed by priests on every New Moon day. The Darsha–Purnamasa Yajnas, mentioned in the Vedas, are considered among the essential daily Vedic duties of a householder. The Dharma Shastras declare that worshipping the Divine, meditating, and performing acts of charity on this day yield manifold spiritual merits.

Since this New Moon falls in the month of Ashadha, it is also known as Ashadha Amavasya. Occurring soon after the beginning of Dakshinayana (the Sun's southward journey), it marks the commencement of a period favorable for inward reflection and spiritual growth. Just as nature is rejuvenated with the arrival of the monsoon, this sacred day reminds us to purify our minds and renew our commitment to righteousness. Across many regions, devotees observe this occasion through holy baths, temple visits, tree planting, charitable acts, and the distribution of food to those in need.

Another important aspect of Ashadha Amavasya is the worship of one's ancestors (Pitru Aradhana). The scriptures describe Amavasya as the most beloved lunar day for the Pitru Devatas (departed ancestors). Performing Tarpana (water oblations), Pinda Pradana (ritual offerings), feeding Brahmins, and engaging in charitable deeds are believed to invoke the blessings of the ancestors. Expressing gratitude toward our forefathers and seeking their blessings has always been regarded as one of the highest virtues in Indian culture.

A unique Vedic observance associated with this day is Anvadhaan. In the Vedic sacrificial tradition, Anvadhaan refers to the sacred act of rekindling the sacrificial fire or offering fresh sacred fuel (Samidhas) into the fire in preparation for the continuation of Vedic rituals. Beyond its ritual significance, it symbolizes keeping the fires of Dharma, wisdom, and devotion ever burning within our hearts. For this reason, Anvadhaan is revered as a highly sacred practice in the Vedic tradition.

On Darsha Amavasya, it is considered highly auspicious to begin the day with a sacred bath and worship Lord Maha Vishnu, Lord Shiva, Surya Narayana, and Lord Ganesha with sincere devotion. Offering sesame-water Tarpana to the ancestors, performing Annadana (food donation), donating clothes, cows where appropriate, or contributing according to one's means are praised in the scriptures as acts of immense merit. Observing a fast, chanting the Vishnu Sahasranama, the Panchakshari Mantra ("Om Namah Shivaya"), or the Gayatri Mantra further enhances one's spiritual well-being.

Darsha Amavasya also conveys a profound message for life. On the night when the Moon disappears from the sky, we are reminded to dispel the darkness of ego, ignorance, and negative tendencies from within ourselves, allowing the light of wisdom, humility, and gratitude to shine forth. Remembering our ancestors reconnects us with our roots; preserving the spirit of the Vedic Yajnas sustains Dharma; and worshipping the Divine purifies the soul. This is the true spiritual essence of this sacred day.

On this holy occasion of Darsha Amavasya, Ashadha Amavasya, and Anvadhaan, let us remember our ancestors with reverence, worship the Divine with devotion, perform acts of charity, and walk steadfastly on the path of Dharma. May the blessings of the Pitru Devatas, the grace of the Divine, and the sacred merits of the Vedic traditions bestow peace, good health, prosperity, and spiritual progress upon all.

ఈ అమావాస్య ఆషాఢ మాసంలో రావడం వల్ల దీనిని ఆషాఢ అమావాస్య అని కూడా పిలుస్తారు. దక్షిణాయనం ప్రారంభమైన అనంతరం వచ్చే ఈ అమావాస్య మనిషి జీవితంలో అంతర్ముఖతను, ఆధ్యాత్మిక చింతనను పెంపొందించే కాలానికి నాంది పలుకుతుంది. వర్షాకాల ప్రారంభంలో ప్రకృతి పునరుజ్జీవనం పొందినట్లే, మన మనస్సును కూడా శుద్ధి చేసుకొని ధర్మమార్గంలో ముందుకు సాగాలని ఈ తిథి సందేశం ఇస్తుంది. అనేక ప్రాంతాల్లో ఈ రోజున పవిత్ర స్నానాలు, దేవాలయ దర్శనాలు, వృక్షారోపణ, అన్నదానాలు వంటి పుణ్యకార్యాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.

ఆషాఢ అమావాస్యకు మరో ముఖ్యమైన విశేషం పితృఆరాధన. అమావాస్య తిథి పితృదేవతలకు అత్యంత ప్రీతికరమైనదిగా శాస్త్రాలు పేర్కొన్నాయి. ఈ రోజున తర్పణాలు, పిండప్రదానాలు, బ్రాహ్మణ భోజనాలు, దానధర్మాలు చేయడం ద్వారా పితృదేవతల అనుగ్రహం లభిస్తుందని విశ్వసిస్తారు. పూర్వీకులను కృతజ్ఞతతో స్మరించడం, వారి ఆశీస్సులు కోరుకోవడం భారతీయ సంస్కృతిలో అత్యున్నత ధర్మాలలో ఒకటిగా భావించబడింది.

ఈ పవిత్రమైన దర్శ అమావాస్య – ఆషాఢ అమావాస్య – అన్వాధాన్ సందర్భంగా భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో పితృదేవతలను స్మరించి, దైవారాధన చేసి, దానధర్మాలు ఆచరించి, ధర్మమార్గంలో ముందుకు సాగుదాం. పితృదేవతల ఆశీస్సులు, దైవానుగ్రహం, యజ్ఞఫలం మన జీవితాల్లో శాంతి, ఆరోగ్యం, ఐశ్వర్యం, ఆధ్యాత్మిక వికాసాన్ని ప్రసాదించాలని మనసారా ప్రార్థిద్దాం.

Today, July 13, Monday, is regarded as an exceptionally rare and sacred day for the worship of Lord Shiva. On this single day, Monday, Ardra Nakshatra, and Krishna Paksha Chaturdashi (Masa Shivaratri) coincide, creating a highly auspicious spiritual alignment. In the Shaiva tradition, each of these holds immense significance. Their convergence on the same day makes it a special occasion that devotees observe with deep faith and devotion.

Monday is considered the most beloved day of Lord Shiva. As the deity who adorns the crescent moon upon His matted locks, Shiva is also revered as Somnath, the Lord of the Moon. Therefore, scriptures extol the spiritual merits of offering prayers, performing Abhishekam, reciting the Rudram, and observing a fast on Mondays. This Monday becomes even more significant as it falls close to the sacred month of Shravana, a period especially dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Ardra Nakshatra also shares an inseparable connection with Lord Shiva. It is believed to be the divine star under which Lord Nataraja performed His cosmic dance of bliss. Devotees believe that worshipping Lord Shiva during Ardra Nakshatra helps remove ignorance, ego, and sorrow, while opening the path toward self-realization and spiritual awakening.

Masa Shivaratri is observed every month on the Krishna Paksha Chaturdashi. According to the Puranas, Lord Shiva is especially receptive to worship in the form of the Shiva Linga on this sacred lunar day. Observing a fast, staying awake during the night in prayer, chanting the sacred Panchakshari mantra "Om Namah Shivaya," performing Rudrabhishekam, and offering Bilva leaves are considered highly auspicious spiritual practices.

Since Monday, Ardra Nakshatra, and Masa Shivaratri have come together on the same day this year, many spiritual teachers and Shiva devotees describe it as an extraordinarily rare Shiva Yoga. It is believed that sincere worship on this day enhances spiritual consciousness, brings inner peace, and blesses devotees with harmony, good health, prosperity, and well-being in family life.

A popular devotional belief says that worshipping Lord Shiva on this single Monday is equivalent to observing one hundred Shivaratris. However, this should be understood as an expression of the day's extraordinary spiritual significance rather than a literal scriptural declaration. Ultimately, the Divine does not measure devotion by numbers, but by the sincerity, faith, and spirit of surrender in the devotee's heart.

On this sacred day, devotees may visit a Shiva temple in the morning or evening, perform Jalabhishekam or milk Abhishekam to the Shiva Linga, offer Bilva leaves, chant "Om Namah Shivaya" at least 108 times, recite the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, listen to or read the Rudram, and observe a fast or partake only of simple sattvic food according to their ability. These practices greatly aid one's spiritual growth and inner purification.

This rare Shiva Yoga also conveys a profound spiritual message. True worship of Lord Shiva is not limited to visiting a temple. నేడు జూలై 13వ తేదీ, సోమవారం అత్యంత అరుదైన, పవిత్రమైన శివారాధన దినంగా భావించబడుతోంది. ఈ ఒక్క రోజున సోమవారం, ఆరుద్ర నక్షత్రం, కృష్ణ పక్ష చతుర్దశి (మాస శివరాత్రి) ఒకే సమయంలో కలిసివచ్చే విశిష్ట యోగం ఏర్పడుతోంది. శైవ సంప్రదాయంలో ఈ మూడు అంశాలకు అపారమైన ప్రాముఖ్యత ఉంది. అందువల్ల ఈ దినాన్ని అనేక మంది భక్తులు అత్యంత శ్రద్ధతో, భక్తితో ఆచరిస్తారు.

సోమవారం పరమశివునికి అత్యంత ప్రీతికరమైన రోజు. చంద్రుడిని తన జటాజూటంలో ధరించిన శివుడు "సోమనాథుడు" అనే పేరుతో కూడా ప్రసిద్ధుడు. అందుకే సోమవారంలో శివపూజ, అభిషేకం, రుద్రపారాయణం, ఉపవాసం చేయడం విశేషమైన పుణ్యాన్ని ప్రసాదిస్తుందని శాస్త్రాలు వివరిస్తాయి. ముఖ్యంగా శ్రావణ మాసం సమీపిస్తున్న ఈ కాలంలో వచ్చే సోమవారాలకు మరింత ఆధ్యాత్మిక ప్రాధాన్యం ఉంటుంది.

ఆరుద్ర నక్షత్రం కూడా పరమశివునితో విడదీయరాని సంబంధం కలిగిన నక్షత్రంగా పరిగణించబడుతుంది. నటరాజ స్వరూపంలో శివుడు తన ఆనంద తాండవాన్ని ప్రదర్శించిన దివ్య నక్షత్రంగా ఆరుద్రకు ప్రత్యేక స్థానం ఉంది. ఈ నక్షత్రంలో శివారాధన చేయడం ద్వారా మనస్సులోని అజ్ఞానం, అహంకారం, దుఃఖం తొలగి ఆత్మజ్ఞానానికి మార్గం సుగమమవుతుందని భక్తుల విశ్వాసం.

ఇక మాస శివరాత్రి ప్రతి నెల కృష్ణ పక్ష చతుర్దశి రోజున వస్తుంది. ఈ తిథిలో శివుడు లింగరూపంలో అత్యంత శక్తివంతంగా ఆరాధనను స్వీకరిస్తాడని పురాణాలు పేర్కొంటాయి. ఈ రోజున ఉపవాసం ఉండి, రాత్రి జాగరణ చేసి, "ఓం నమః శివాయ" అనే పంచాక్షరీ మంత్రాన్ని జపించడం, రుద్రాభిషేకం చేయడం, బిల్వదళాలను సమర్పించడం ఎంతో శుభప్రదమని భావిస్తారు.

ఈసారి సోమవారం, ఆరుద్ర నక్షత్రం, మాస శివరాత్రి ఒకే రోజున కలిసివచ్చినందున దీనిని అత్యంత అరుదైన శివయోగంగా అనేక మంది ఆధ్యాత్మిక గురువులు, శివభక్తులు పేర్కొంటున్నారు. ఈ దినాన భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో శివుని ఆరాధించడం వల్ల ఆధ్యాత్మిక చైతన్యం పెరగడం, అంతరంగ శాంతి కలగడం, కుటుంబంలో సౌఖ్యం, ఆరోగ్యం, ఐశ్వర్యం వృద్ధి చెందుతాయని విశ్వసిస్తారు.

"ఈ ఒక్క సోమవారం ఆరాధన వంద శివరాత్రుల ఫలితాన్ని ఇస్తుంది" అనే మాట భక్తులలో విస్తృతంగా ప్రచారంలో ఉంది. అయితే దీనిని ఒక శాస్త్రోక్త ప్రమాణంగా కాకుండా, ఈ దినం యొక్క గొప్ప ఆధ్యాత్మిక ప్రాముఖ్యతను తెలియజేసే భక్తి భావనగా అర్థం చేసుకోవడం సముచితం. భగవంతుడు సంఖ్యలను కాదు, భక్తుని హృదయంలోని నిజమైన భక్తిని, విశ్వాసాన్ని, సమర్పణ భావాన్ని స్వీకరిస్తాడు.

ఈ పవిత్ర దినాన ఉదయం లేదా సాయంత్రం శివాలయ దర్శనం చేయడం, శివలింగానికి జలాభిషేకం లేదా పాలాభిషేకం చేయడం, బిల్వదళాలు సమర్పించడం, "ఓం నమః శివాయ" మంత్రాన్ని కనీసం 108 సార్లు జపించడం, మహామృత్యుంజయ మంత్రాన్ని పారాయణం చేయడం, రుద్రాధ్యాయం వినడం లేదా చదవడం, సాధ్యమైనంతవరకు ఉపవాసం లేదా సాత్వికాహారం తీసుకోవడం వంటి ఆచరణలు ఆధ్యాత్మిక సాధనకు ఎంతో ఉపకరిస్తాయి.

ఈ అరుదైన శివయోగం మనకు ఒక గొప్ప సందేశాన్ని అందిస్తుంది. శివారాధన అంటే కేవలం ఆలయానికి వెళ్లడం మాత్రమే కాదు; మనలోని కోపం, ద్వేషం, అహంకారం, అసూయ వంటి అంతర్మలినాలను తొలగించి, కరుణ, ప్రేమ, క్షమ, దయ, సమత్వం వంటి శివతత్వ గుణాలను జీవితంలో ఆచరించడం. అదే నిజమైన శివపూజ.

ఈ పవిత్ర సోమవారం ప్రతి భక్తుని జీవితంలో శాంతి, ఆరోగ్యం, ఆనందం, ఆధ్యాత్మిక వికాసాన్ని ప్రసాదించాలని పరమశివుని ప్రార్థిద్దాం.

Every day, millions of people are added to the world's population, increasing the demand for food, water, housing, energy, healthcare, education, and employment. While population itself is not the enemy, uncontrolled population growth has become one of the greatest challenges facing humanity.

Population control is not about restricting human freedom. It is about ensuring a better quality of life for present and future generations. It is a collective responsibility that requires awareness, education, and thoughtful decision-making by individuals, families, governments, and societies.


🧘‍♀️ Why Population Control Matters

As the population increases, natural resources are consumed at a much faster rate than they can be replenished. Forests disappear, freshwater sources become scarce, fertile land shrinks, and biodiversity declines. Climate change and environmental degradation are accelerated by increasing human demand.

Rapid population growth also puts immense pressure on infrastructure. Governments struggle to provide quality education, healthcare, housing, transportation, and employment opportunities. Poverty, unemployment, overcrowding, and social inequality often become more severe.

మానవ నాగరికత ఎన్నో రంగాల్లో అద్భుతమైన పురోగతి సాధించింది. విజ్ఞానం, వైద్యం, సాంకేతికత, సమాచార రంగాల్లో మనిషి ఎన్నో విజయాలను అందుకున్నాడు. అయితే ఈ అభివృద్ధి మధ్య ప్రపంచం ఎదుర్కొంటున్న అతిపెద్ద సవాళ్లలో ఒకటి అనియంత్రిత జనాభా పెరుగుదల.

భూమి విస్తీర్ణం పెరగదు. సహజ వనరులు అపరిమితమైనవి కావు. కానీ జనాభా మాత్రం నిరంతరం పెరుగుతూనే ఉంది. దీనివల్ల నీరు, ఆహారం, భూమి, విద్య, వైద్యం, ఉపాధి, నివాసం వంటి మౌలిక అవసరాలపై తీవ్రమైన ఒత్తిడి ఏర్పడుతోంది.

🧘‍♀️ జనాభా పెరుగుదల వల్ల కలిగే సమస్యలు

జనాభా పెరిగే కొద్దీ అడవులు నశిస్తున్నాయి. సాగుభూమి తగ్గుతోంది. తాగునీటి కొరత తీవ్రమవుతోంది. విద్యుత్ అవసరాలు పెరుగుతున్నాయి. నగరాలు రద్దీగా మారుతున్నాయి. నిరుద్యోగం, పేదరికం, కాలుష్యం, ట్రాఫిక్ సమస్యలు రోజురోజుకూ అధికమవుతున్నాయి.

అంతేకాదు, ప్రకృతిపై పడుతున్న భారం వల్ల వాతావరణ మార్పులు, జీవ వైవిధ్యం తగ్గిపోవడం, అనేక జంతు-వృక్ష జాతులు అంతరించిపోవడం వంటి తీవ్రమైన పరిణామాలు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి.


🧘‍♀️ బాధ్యతాయుతమైన కుటుంబ ప్రణాళిక అవసరం

ప్రతి బిడ్డ ఈ ప్రపంచంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత మంచి ఆహారం, విద్య, వైద్యం, ప్రేమ, భద్రత పొందే హక్కు కలిగి ఉంటాడు. కాబట్టి పిల్లల సంఖ్య కంటే వారి భవిష్యత్తు ముఖ్యమైనది.

మనకు ఈ భూమి మన పూర్వీకుల నుండి వారసత్వంగా రాలేదు; భావితరాల నుండి అప్పుగా వచ్చింది. కాబట్టి ఈ భూమిపై ఉన్న సహజ వనరులను విచక్షణారహితంగా వినియోగించడం మన నైతిక బాధ్యతకు విరుద్ధం.
