*తాత్పర్యము : కిశోరావస్థయందుగల ఆ ప్రభువుయొక్క దర్శనము అత్యంత సుందరము. సర్వలోకవంద్యము. ఆ శ్రీహరి భక్తులను అనుగ్రహించుటయందే సర్వదా తత్పరుడై యుండును.*

*17. apīcya-darśanaṁ śaśvat sarva-loka-namaskṛtam*
*santaṁ vayasi kaiśore bhṛtyānugraha-kātaram*
*MEANING : The Lord is eternally very beautiful, and He is worshipable by all the inhabitants of every planet. He is ever youthful and always eager to bestow His blessing upon His devotees.*
*PURPORT : The word sarva-loka-namaskṛtam means that He is worshipable by everyone on every planet. There are innumerable planets in the material world and innumerable planets in the spiritual world as well. On each planet there are innumerable inhabitants who worship the Lord, for the Lord is worshipable by all but the impersonalists. The Supreme Lord is very beautiful. The word śaśvat is significant. It is not that He appears beautiful to the devotees but is ultimately impersonal. Śaśvat means "ever existing." That beauty is not temporary. It is ever existing. He is always youthful. In the Brahma-saṁhitā (BS 5-38) it is also stated: advaitam acyutam anādim ananta-rūpam ādyaṁ purāṇa-puruṣaṁ nava-yauvanaṁ ca. The original person is one without a second, yet He never appears old; He always appears as ever fresh as a blooming youth.*
*The Lord's facial expression always indicates that He is ready to show favor and benediction to the devotees; for the nondevotees, however, He is silent. As stated in Bhagavad-gītā, although He acts equally to everyone because He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and because all living entities are His sons, He is especially inclined to those engaged in devotional service. The same fact is confirmed here: He is always anxious to show favor to the devotees. Just as the devotees are always eager to render service unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Lord is also very eager to bestow benediction upon the pure devotees.*

*శరణాగతవత్సలుడు, భక్తప్రియుడు అగు హరుడు దేవతలందరి ఈ మాటను విని పరమప్రీతితో అంగీకరించెను (1). ఓ మహర్షీ! ఇంతలో పార్వతీదేవి పుత్రులిద్దరితో గూడి, శివుడు దేవతలతో గూడియున్న స్థలమునకు విచ్చేసెను (2). అట్లు విచ్చేసిన పార్వతిని గాంచి విష్ణువు మొదలగు దేవతలందరు ఆశ్చర్యముతో తొట్రుపాటు పడిరి. వారు వెంటనే పరమవినయముతో ఆమెకు ప్రణమిల్లిరి (3). ఓ మహర్షీ! వారందరు ' జయమగు గాక!' అను శుభవాక్యమును చక్కగా పలికి మిన్నకుండిరి. ఆమె వచ్చుటకు గల కారణమును వారెరుంగరు (4).*

*పుత్రులు గల వారిలో శ్రేష్ఠుడవగు హే ప్రభో! సూర్యుని వలె ప్రకాశించువాడు, శ్రేష్ఠములను ఆభరణములచే అలంకరింపబడిన వాడు అగు షణ్ముఖుని ఆటపాటలను పరికించుము. నీ కుమారుని గాంచుము (6). జగన్మాతచే ఇట్టి వచనములతో సంబోదింపబడిన వాడై, పరమేశ్వరుడగు శివుడు స్కందుని ముఖమును చిరకాలము చూచి ఆనందించెను. ఎంత చూచిననూ ఆయనకు తనివి తీరలేదు (7). తనను ఆరాదించి పొందిన తేజస్సు గల రాక్షసులచే మిక్కిలి పీడింపబడి తనను శరణు జొచ్చిన దేవతల సంగతిని ఆయన విస్మరించెను. ఆ మహేశ్వరుడు స్కందుని కౌగిలించు కొని ముద్దాడి మిక్కిలి ఆనందించెను (8). అనేక లీలలను ప్రకటించుటలో నిపుణురాలగు ఆ జగన్మాత అపుడు శివునితో సంప్రదించి కొంత సమయము అచటనే ఉండి, తరువాత లేచి నిలబడెను (9).*

1. On hearing the words of the gods and others, Śiva accepted the proposal. The lord is worthy of being sought refuge and is also favourably disposed to his devotees.
2. O sage, in the meantime the goddess Pārvatī arrived there with the two sons where Śiva was in conversation with the gods.
3. On seeing Pārvatī come there, Viṣṇu and others were surprised but without agitation they bowed to her in great humility.
4. O sage, they shouted cries of “Victory”. But unable to know the cause of her arrival, they remained silent.
5. On being eulogised by the gods, the goddess Pārvatī full of wonderful enthusiasm spoke lovingly to her lord, an expert in different kinds of sports.
The goddess said:—
6. “O lord, see the sportive six-faced[1] Kārttikeya, refulgent like the sun our excellent son embellished by excellent ornaments.”
Sanatkumāra said:—
7. Thus addressed by the mother of the worlds with pleasing words, Lord Śiva was never satiated in drinking nectar of the beauty of Skanda’s face.
8. He recollected the Asuras who had come (to fight and) pounded by his splendrous valour. Embracing and kissing Skanda on the head lord Śiva rejoiced much.
9. Then the mother of the universe stayed there for a while and held conversation with the lord. Afterwards the goddess, an expert in different kinds of sports stood up.
