*ఓ దేవి ! రాక్షసులను చంపి నువ్వు మమ్మల్ని ఎలా కాపాడావో, అలాగే మమ్మల్ని ఎప్పుడూ శత్రు భయం నుంచి కాపాడు. అన్ని కాలాల్లోని పాపాలను, ఉత్పాతాల ద్వారా సూచింపబడి, అతి ఘోరంగా మారే ఉత్పాతాల విపత్తులను త్వరగా శమింప జేయి.*
*🍀. దసరా అంటే ఏమిటి ? మనలో ఉన్న పంచ జ్ఞాన, పంచ కర్మేన్ద్రియాలైన దశ ఇంద్రియాలు- దోపిడీ, హింస, స్త్రీ వ్యామోహం, లోభం, వంచన, పరుష వాక్కు, అసత్యం, పరనింద, చాడీ చెప్పటం, అధికార దుర్వినియోగం అనే దశ అంటే పది పాపపు పనులు చేస్తాయి. ఈ పది రకాల పాపాలు హరి౦చటానికి జగన్మాతను కొలిచే పండగనే ’’దశ హర‘’ అంటారు. అదే దసరా గా మారింది. బాల్య, యవ్వన, కౌమార వార్ధక్య౦ 4 దశలు దాటి పోవాలంటే జన్మ రాహిత్య స్థితి పొందాలి. ఈ జన్మ రాహిత్య స్థితిని పొందటానికి , మానవ జన్మల దశలను హరి౦చ మని శ్రీ దేవిని నవరాత్రులు ఆరాధించటమే దశహరా – దసరా . 🍀*
*🔱. చెడుపై మంచి సాధించిన విజయమే విజయదశమి. ఈ రోజును దశపాప హర దశమి అని కూడా అంటారు. అవి పరుషంగా మాట్లాడటం, అబద్ధాలు చెప్పటం, అసంబద్ధమైన మాటలు మాట్లాడటం, సమాజం వినలేని మాటలు మాట్లాడటం – ఈ నాలుగు రకాల పాపాలు మాటల ద్వారా చేసేవి. తనది కాని ధనము, వస్తువులపై వ్యామోహం కలిగి ఉండటం, ఇతరులకు ఇబ్బంది కలిగించే పనులను చేయటం, ఇతరులకు చెడు చేయాలనుకోవడం ఈ మూడు మానసికంగా చేసే పాపాలు. అర్హత లేని వానికి దానాన్ని ఇవ్వడం, శాస్త్రము ఒప్పని హింసను చేయడం, పర స్త్రీని లేదా పురుషున్ని స్వీకరించడం ఈ మూడు శరీరంతో చేసే పాపాలు. మొత్తం ఇవి పది పాపాలు. ఈ పది పాపాల నుండి విముక్తిని ప్రసాదించి, మనందరి జీవితాలు సుఖసంతోషాలతో, సకల ఐశ్వర్యాలతో ఉండేలా చేయమని దుర్గామాతను వేడుకుంటూ అందరికి దసరా - దశపాప హర దశమి శుభాకాంక్షలు. 🔱*

అగ్నిదేవుడు చెప్పెను :- సంపాతాహుతిచేత పవిత్రలను తడిపి వాటి అధివాసనము చేయవలెను. నృసింహ మంత్రమును జపించి, వాటిని అభిమంత్రించి, అస్త్రమంత్రముచే (అస్త్రాయ ఫట్‌ ) వాటిని సురక్షితములు చేయవలెను. పవిత్రలకు వస్త్రములు చుట్టి ఉండగనే పాత్రములో ఉంచి వాటిని అభిమంత్రించవలెను. బిల్వాదిసంసృష్ట మైన జలముతో, మంత్రోచ్చారణపూర్వకముగ వాటిని ఒకటి రెండు సార్లు ప్రోక్షించవలెను.
కుంభపాత్రమునందు పవిత్రలను ఉంచి, గురువు, వాటి రక్షణనిమిత్తము, ఆ పాత్రను తూర్పున సంకర్షణమంత్రముతో దంతచాష్ఠమును, ఉసరికాయను, దక్షిణమున ప్రద్యుమ్నమంత్రముతో భస్మమును, తిలలను, పశ్చిమమున నారాయణమంత్రముతో కుశోదకమును ఉంచవలెను. పిమ్మట అగ్నేయమునందు హృదయమంత్రముతో కుంకుమమును, గోరోచనమును, ఈశాన్యదిక్కు నందు శిరోమంత్రముతో ధూపమును, నైరృతి దిక్కునందు శిఖామంత్రముతో దివ్యమూలపుష్పములను, వాయవ్యదిక్కునందు కవచమంత్రముతో చందన-జల-అక్షత-దధి-దూర్వలను దొన్నెలో ఉంచవలెను. మండపమును త్రిసూత్రముతో చుట్టి మరల అన్ని ప్రక్కల ఆవాలు చల్లవలెను.
ఏ క్రమమున దేవతల పూజ జరిగినదో ఆ క్రమముననే ఆ దేవతలకు, వారి వారి మంత్రముల నుచ్చరించుచు గంధపవిత్రము లర్పింపవలెను. ద్వారపాలాదులకు గూడ నామమంత్రములతో గంధపవిత్రము లర్పింపవలెను.

*🌻 Mode of consecration of an image - 1 🌻*
Agni said:
1. Having sprinkled with the residual offering one should perform consecration of the sacred, subtle, and chanted mystic formulae of the manlion. form.
2-3. Consecration of the vessels covered by the clothes should be done with mystic syllables. The vessels on which water is sprinkled once or twice with bel (leaves), should be placed near the pitcher. Having pronounced the protective spell the priest should place stick for (cleansing) the teeth and myrabolan on the east with (the recitation of syllable for) Saṅkarṣaṇa.
4. The ashes, sesamum, and cowdung-mixed earth (should be consecrated)on the south with (syllable for) Pradyumna, in the west with (that of) Aniruddha and in the north with that of Nārāyaṇa.
5. Then the waters along with the kuśa grass (should be assigned) to the south-east with the heart, the saffron and pigment on the north-east with the head, the incense on the southwest with the tuft.
6. Then the principal beautiful flowers (should be assigned) to the north-west with the armour. The sandal, water, unbroken rice, curd, and dūrvā (grass) are placed in small cups (made of leaves).
7-8. The chamber having been encircled by three threads,. the articles kept ready should be thrown again. Then in one’s. own order of adoration one should offer perfumes and (other) articles, at the foot of the gate or at the pitcher of Viṣṇu with sacred syllables. One should then worship the radiant, beautiful form of Viṣṇu capable of destroying all sins.
9. “I conceive on thy limbs, the deity who grants all coveted things”. After having worshipped him by (showing) the incense, lamp etc., one should approach the gate-way.
10. One should offer pavitra[1] along with perfumes, flowers and unbroken grains. The radiant pavitra of Viṣṇu (is capable) of destroying all sins.
11. I hold on my limbs (the pavitra) for the accomplishment of virtue, desire and worldly benefits. The pavitra is-offered to the other attendant deities and to the preceptor (seated) on a seat.

*🕉. The human being is created by nature for almost eight hours' hard work. By and by, as civilization has progressed and technology has taken over much of human labor, we don't have anything that requires hard work, and that has become a problem. 🕉*
*In the past, people suffered because they didn't have enough energy to cope. Now we are suffering from more energy than can be used. That can become restlessness, neurosis, madness. If energy is there and not used rightly it goes sour, becomes bitter. We create energy every day, and it has to be used every day. You cannot accumulate it; you cannot be a miser about it. In the past, people were working hard as hunters and farmers. By and by that kind of work has disappeared, and societies are more affluent and have more and more energy; so restlessness is bound to be there. Hence the Americans are the most restless people in the world, and part of it is that they are the most affluent society.*
*We should drop the idea of utility-because that is of the past. When energy was less and work was more, utility had meaning. Now it is no longer a value.
