*🌹 Purport : Arjuna addresses Lord Kṛṣṇa as “lotus-eyed” (Kṛṣṇa’s eyes appear just like the petals of a lotus flower) out of his joy, for Kṛṣṇa has assured him, in a previous chapter, ahaṁ kṛtsnasya jagataḥ prabhavaḥ pralayas tathā: “I am the source of the appearance and disappearance of this entire material manifestation.”*
*Arjuna has heard of this from the Lord in detail. Arjuna further knows that in spite of His being the source of all appearances and disappearances, He is aloof from them. As the Lord has said in the Ninth Chapter, He is all-pervading, yet He is not personally present everywhere. That is the inconceivable opulence of Kṛṣṇa which Arjuna admits that he has thoroughly understood.*

*పిమ్మట కుండమునందు అగ్నేయము నుండి వాయవ్యమువరకును నైరృతి నుండి ఈశాన్యమువరకును. "ఓం హాం సద్యోజాత, వాసుదేవా ఘోర తత్పురుషేశానేభ్యః స్వాహా" అను మంత్రముతో అవిఛ్ఛిన్నాజ్యధారాహోమము చేసి పంచముఖముల ఏకీకరణము చేయవలెనను. ఈ విధముగ ఇష్టముకమునందు అన్ని ముకములును అంతర్భూతములగును. అందుచే ఒకే ముఖము అన్ని ముఖముల ఆకారమును ధరించును.కుండమునందు ఈశాన్యమున అగ్నిని పూజించి, అస్త్రమంత్రముతో మూడు ఆహుతుల నిచ్చి, అగ్నికి నామకరణము చేయవలెను. 'ఓ అగ్ని దేవా! నీవు అన్ని విధముల శివుడవు-మంగళప్రదుడవు. అందుచే నీ పేరు శివుడు" అని నామకరణము చేసి, పూజింపబడిన మాతాపితరులగు వాగీశ్వరీ వాగీశ్వరులను, నమస్కార పూర్వకముగ అగ్నియందు విసర్జించి, వారికొరకై విధిపూర్వకముగ పూర్ణాహుతి ఈయవలెను. మూలమంత్రము చివర 'వౌషట్‌' చేర్చి శివశక్తులకు యథావిధిగ పూర్ణాహుతి ఈయవలెను. పిమ్మట అంగ-సేనాసమేతుడగు, పరమతేజఃశాలియైన శివుని హృదయకమలమునందు ఆవాహనచేసి, వెనుకటివలెనే పూజించి ఆశివుని ఆజ్ఞగైకొని ఆయనునుపూర్తిగ తృప్తుని చేయవలెను.*

*🌻 Mode of installation of the fire (agni-sthāpana) - 7 🌻*
41-42. Oṃ hāṃ oblations to Sadyojāta and Vāmadeva. Oṃ hāṃ oblations to Vāmadeva and Aghora. Oṃ hāṃ oblations to Aghora and Tatpuruṣa. Oṃ hāṃ oblations to Tatpuruṣa and Īśāna. Thus the union is done in order with the recitation of these mantras. With the flow of ghee from the sacrificial ladle taking it from the fire through the angular points such as northwest, south-west, and ending with north-east, one should unite the faces. Oṃ hāṃ oblations to Sadyojāta, Vāmadeva, Aghora, Tatpuruṣa and Īśāna. Thus its form and other faces should be contemplated in the face of one’s liking.
43. Having worshipped the fire in the north-east and offering three oblations with the mantra of the weapon, (the worshipper) with his entire soul should contemplate—“O Fire-God! you are the divine essence of Śiva.”
44. Having worshipped the parents with the hṛd (mantra) and left them aside, the final oblation which concludes the rite should be offered as laid down with the principal mantra ending with vauṣaṭ.
45. Then one should worship the resplendent, Supreme God attended upon by the attendants and retinue, after having invoked him in the lotus of his heart as before. He should offer waters of oblation to Śiva after having requested his permission.

*తత్వంలో స్థిరపడిన వాస్తవాన్ని లోతైన ధ్యాన స్థితిలో మాత్రమే అనుభవించగలం. ఇక్కడ చైతన్యం మరియు అస్తిత్వం ఒకటౌతాయి. అదిగా అవడం తప్ప దానిని అనుభూతి చెండలేము. విశ్వ చైతన్యానికి విషయ-వస్తువు సంబంధం లాంటిదేమీ లేదు. దానిని పూర్తిగా అద్వైత భావనలో అర్థం చేసుకోగలరు లేదా అస్సలు అర్థం చేసుకోలేరు. అంతేకాని మధ్యేమార్గం లేదు. ఇంద్రియాలు, తెలివితేటలు మరియు హేతువాదం దాని స్వభావాన్ని సంపూర్ణంగా అర్థం చేసుకోవడానికి లేదా అనుభవంలో గ్రహించే ప్రయత్నంలో అస్సలు పనికిరావు.*

*The Reality that is established in philosophy is to be experienced in the state of deep meditation. Here consciousness and being become one. There is no way of entering into communion with it except by being it. There is no such thing as subject-object relationship in regard to the consciousness of what is universal. Either one knows it fully in non-dualistic communion or does not know it at all. The senses, the understanding and the reason are powerless instruments in one’s attempt at perfectly comprehending its nature or realising it in experience.*
*In the realisation of the Supreme Being the mind of the individual is completely transcended, together with all its dualistic categories. The mind does not partake of the characteristics of Reality. It is not conscious and also not universal in nature. The mind is a feeble objective insentient evolute acting as the individual’s instrument in the perception of the external world, which is physical in nature.*

*This aphorism talks about the importance of consciousness. The highest level of consciousness is beyond the three levels of consciousness that one undergoes daily, awake, dream and deep sleep. When one is able to transcend these stages in quick succession when he is awake, he enters the stage of samādhi. Even in samādhi one has to keep his consciousness pure as afflicted thought processes are bound to affect the state of samādhi, which distorts the level of awareness. Because of the distortion, he could either slip into the dream state or even lower, the wakening stage.*
