*ఆశ్వాసయామాస చ భీతమేనం భూత్వా పున: సౌమ్యవపుర్మహాత్మా ||*
*🌷. తాత్పర్యం : ధృతరాష్ట్రునితో సంజయుడు పలేకెను : దేవదేవుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ఆ విధముగా అర్జునునితో పలికి తన చతుర్భుజరూపమును ప్రదర్శించెను. భీతుడైన అర్జునునకు ఆ విధముగా ఆశ్వాసమును గూర్చుచు అంత్యమున తన ద్విభుజ రూపమును చూపెను.*
*🌷. భాష్యము : శ్రీకృష్ణుడు దేవకీ, వసుదేవులకు పుత్రునిగా లభించినప్పుడు తొలుత చతుర్భుజ నారాయణుని రూపమున దర్శనమొసగెను. కాని తల్లిదండ్రుల కోరికపై అతడు తిరిగి సామాన్యబాలునిగా మారెను. అదేవిధముగా అర్జునుడు సైతము చతుర్భుజరూపమును గాంచుట యందు ఎక్కువ ఆసక్తిని కలిగియుండడని శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ఎరిగియుండెను. కాని అతడు కోరియున్నందున తన చతుర్భుజరూపమును చూపి పిదప తన సహజ ద్విభుజ రూపమును పొందెను.*
*ఈ శ్లోకమున “సౌమ్యవపు:” అను పదము ప్రధానమైనది. “సౌమ్యవపు:” అనగా అత్యంత సుందరమైన రూపమని భావము. శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ధరత్రిపై నిలిచినపుడు ప్రతియొక్కరు అతని అత్యంత సుందరరూపముచే ఆకర్షితులైరి. జగన్నిర్దేశకుడైనందునే ఆ భగవానుడు తన భక్తుడైన అర్జునుని భయము ను తొలగించి తన సుందరరూపమును అతనికి చూపెను. ప్రేమాంనజనమును కనులకు పూసుకొనిన మనుజుడే శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని దివ్యసుందరరూపమును గాంచగలడని బ్రహ్మసంహిత(5.38) యందు తెలుపబడినది. (ప్రేమాంజనచ్చురితభక్తివిలోచనేన).*

*āśvāsayām āsa ca bhītam enaṁ bhūtvā punaḥ saumya-vapur mahātmā*
*🌷 Translation : Sañjaya said to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, having spoken thus to Arjuna, displayed His real four-armed form and at last showed His two-armed form, thus encouraging the fearful Arjuna.*
*🌹 Purport : When Kṛṣṇa appeared as the son of Vasudeva and Devakī, He first of all appeared as four-armed Nārāyaṇa, but when He was requested by His parents, He transformed Himself into an ordinary child in appearance. Similarly, Kṛṣṇa knew that Arjuna was not interested in seeing a four-handed form, but since Arjuna asked to see this four-handed form, Kṛṣṇa also showed him this form again and then showed Himself in His two-handed form.*
*The word saumya-vapuḥ is very significant. Saumya-vapuḥ is a very beautiful form; it is known as the most beautiful form. When He was present, everyone was attracted simply by Kṛṣṇa’s form, and because Kṛṣṇa is the director of the universe, He just banished the fear of Arjuna, His devotee, and showed him again His beautiful form of Kṛṣṇa. In the Brahma-saṁhitā (5.38) it is stated, premāñjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena: only a person whose eyes are smeared with the ointment of love can see the beautiful form of Śrī Kṛṣṇa.*

*సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను- ఓ వ్యాసా! వినుము. నీవు గొప్ప బుద్ధిశాలివి. శివభక్తులలో ఉత్తముడవు. శంభుని చరితముతో విరాజిల్లునది, మిక్కిలి పవిత్రమైనది అగు విష్ణు చరితమును చెప్పెదను (3) శరణాగతవత్సలుడు, మహేశ్వరుడునగు శంభుడు బ్రహ్మాది దేవతలు మిన్నకుండగా మిక్కిలి ప్రసన్నుడై ఇట్లు పలికెను (4).*
*శంభుడు ఇట్లు పలికెను- ఓ బ్రహ్మా! సర్వదేవ పుంగవులారా! జలంధరుడు నా అంశనుండి జన్మించిన వాడే అయిననూ, మీ కొరకై వానిని సంహరించితిని. నేను నిస్సందేహముగా సత్యమును పలుకుచున్నాను (5). ఓ పుత్రులారా! మీకు సుఖము కలిగినదా? లేదా ? ఓ దేవతలారా! సత్యమును పలుకుడు. సర్వదా నిర్వికారుడనగు నా లీల మీకొరకు మాత్రమే గదా! 2. O sage, now narrate lovingly the story of Viṣṇu. After enchanting Vṛndā what did he do? Where did he go?
Sanatkumāra said:—
3. O Vyāsa, listen. O intelligent excellent devotee of Śiva, listen to the good story of Viṣṇu mingled with the story of Śiva.
4. When Brahmā and other gods became silent, lord Śiva, favourably disposed to those who seek refuge in him, was delighted and said.
Śiva said:—
5. O Brahmā, O ye excellent gods, it is for you that Jalandhara has been killed by me although he was a part of myself. Truth. It is the truth that I say.
6. O dear gods, tell me the truth. Have or have not you attained happiness? It is for you that I indulge in sports though I am always free from all aberrations.
Sanatkumāra said:—
7. Then Brahmā and other gods, with eyes blooming with delight, bowed to Śiva with bent heads and mentioned to him the activities of Viṣṇu.

*ప్రజలు ఏమీ చేయకుండా ఎలా ఉండాలో మరిచి పోయారు. చేసేదేమీ లేకుంటే ప్రేమించుకుంటారు. అప్పుడు ఏమీ జరగదు, మరియు వారు ప్రేమ అంటే విసుగు చెందుతారు. స్త్రీ మరియు పురుషుడు వేర్వేరు-వేరు మాత్రమే కాదు, వ్యతిరేకం; వారు ఒకరితో ఒకరు సరిపోరు. కానీ అదే అందం - వారు ఒకరితో ఒకరు కలిసినపుడు అది ఒక అద్భుతం, ఒక మాయా క్షణం. లేకుంటే గొడవపడి కొట్లాడుకుంటారు. ఇది సహజమైనది. అర్థం చేసుకోవచ్చు, ఎందుకంటే వారు వేర్వేరు మనస్సులను కలిగి ఉంటారు. వారి దృక్కోణాలు వ్యతిరేక ధ్రువాలు. వారు దేనితోనూ ఏకీభవించలేరు, ఎందుకంటే వారి మార్గాలు వేరు, వారి తర్కం వేరు.*
*లోతైన సామరస్యానికి సరిపోయేలా చేయడం, లోతైన సామరస్యంతో ఉండటం దాదాపు అద్భుతం. ఇది కోహినూర్ వంటిది, ఒక గొప్ప వజ్రం, మరియు దానిని ప్రతిరోజూ అడగకూడదు. నిత్యంలో భాగంగా అడగకూడదు. దాని కోసం వేచి ఉండాలి. నెలలు, కొన్నిసార్లు సంవత్సరాలు గడిచిపోతాయి, ఆప్పుడు అది అకస్మాత్తుగా వస్తుంది. హఠాత్తుగా, కారణం లేకుండా వస్తుంది. చింతించకండి - అది స్వయంగా చూసుకుంటుంది. మరియు ప్రేమను కోరుకునేవారిగా మారకండి, లేకుంటే మీరు దానిని పూర్తిగా కోల్పోతారు.*
