🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
*శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు పలికెను : నాశరహితమును, దివ్యమును అగు జీవుడే బ్రహ్మమనియు మరియు అతని నిత్యస్వభావమే ఆధ్యాత్మమనియు చెప్పబడును. జీవుల దేహోద్భవమునకు సంబంధించిన కార్యమే కర్మము (కామ్యకర్మలు) అనబడును.*
🌷. భాష్యము :
బ్రహ్మము నాశరహితమును మరియు శాశ్వతమును అయి యున్నది. కాలములో దాని సహజస్థితి యందు ఎట్టి మార్పు ఉండదు. అట్టి బ్రహ్మమునకు పరముగా నున్నదే పరబ్రహ్మము. బ్రహ్మము జీవుని సూచించగా పరబ్రహ్మము దేవదేవుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుని సూచించును. అట్టి జీవుడు భౌతికజగత్తు నందు స్వీకరించెడి స్థితి అతని నిజస్థితి భిన్నమైనటువంటిది.
భౌతికచైతన్యములో అతడు ప్రకృతితో ప్రభువుగా నగుటకు యత్నించినను ఆధ్యాత్మిక చైతన్యములో (కృష్ణభక్తిభావన యందు) మాత్రము శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానునికి దాసునిగా వర్తించును. అట్టి భౌతికచైతన్యము నందున్నంత కాలము అతడు భౌతికజగమున వివిధములైన దేహములను పొందవలసివచ్చును. అదియే భౌతికచైతన్యపు ప్రభావము వలన కలిగెడి విభిన్నసృష్టి లేదా కర్మము అనబడును.
వేదవాజ్మయమునందు జీవుడు జీవాత్మగా మరియు బ్రహ్మముగా పిలువబడెనే గాని పరబ్రహ్మముగా ఎన్నడును పిలువబడలేదు. అట్టి జీవుడు కొన్నిమార్లు భౌతికచైతన్యముతో తాదాత్మ్యము చెంది తనను భౌతికమని భావించును. మరికొన్నిమార్లు ఉన్నతమైన ఆధ్యాత్మికశక్తితో తనను గుర్తించుచుండును. ఈ విధముగా అతడు వివధగతులను పొందుచుండును. కనుకనే అతడు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని తటస్థశక్తిగా పిలువబడినాడు. అతని భౌతిక, ఆధ్యాత్మిక తాదాత్మ్యము ననుసరించి అతడు భౌతికదేహమునుగాని లేదా ఆధ్యాత్మికదేహమునుగాని పొందుచుండును. భౌతికప్రకృతిలో అతడు ఎనుమదినాలుగులక్షల జీవరాసులలోని ఏదేని ఒక జన్మను పొందినను ఆధ్యాత్మిక స్వభావమున మాత్రము ఒకే దివ్యదేహమును కలిగి యుండును.

*bhūta-bhāvodbhava-karo visargaḥ karma-saṁjñitaḥ*
🌷 Translation :
*The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: The indestructible, transcendental living entity is called Brahman, and his eternal nature is called adhyātma, the self. Action pertaining to the development of the material bodies of the living entities is called karma, or fruitive activities.*
🌹 Purport :
Brahman is indestructible and eternally existing, and its constitution is not changed at any time. But beyond Brahman there is Para-brahman. Brahman refers to the living entity, and Para-brahman refers to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The constitutional position of the living entity is different from the position he takes in the material world. In material consciousness his nature is to try to be the lord of matter, but in spiritual consciousness, Kṛṣṇa consciousness, his position is to serve the Supreme. When the living entity is in material consciousness, he has to take on various bodies in the material world. That is called karma, or varied creation by the force of material consciousness.
In Vedic literature the living entity is called jīvātmā and Brahman, but he is never called Para-brahman. The living entity (jīvātmā) takes different positions – sometimes he merges into the dark material nature and identifies himself with matter, and sometimes he identifies himself with the superior, spiritual nature. Therefore he is called the Supreme Lord’s marginal energy. According to his identification with material or spiritual nature, he receives a material or spiritual body. In material nature he may take a body from any of the 8,400,000 species of life, but in spiritual nature he has only one body.

విశ్వరూపుని విగ్రహము ఇరువది చేతులతో ప్రకాశించు చుండును. కుడిచేతులలో చక్ర-ఖడ్గ-ముసల-అంకశ-పట్టిశ-ముద్గర-పాశ-శక్తి-శూల-బాణములను, ఎడమ చేతులలో శంఖ-శార్జ-గదా-పాశ-తోమర-హల-పరశు-దండ- ఛురికా (చాకు)- చర్మలను ధరించి యుండును. కుడి వైపున చతుర్భుజుడగు బ్రహ్మ, ఎడమవైపున త్రినేత్రుడును ఉందురు. జలశాయి జలములో శయనించి ఉండును. ఈ మూర్తిని శేషశయ్యపై శయనించి యున్నట్లు చేయవలెను. లక్ష్మీదేవి ఒక పాదము ఒత్తు చుండును.
విమల మొదలగు శక్తులు స్తుతించుచుండును. ఈ శ్రీహరి నాభికమలమున చతుర్భుజుడగు బ్రహ్మ ప్రకాశించుచుండును. హరిహరమూర్తి కుడిచేతులలో శూల-ఋష్టులను, ఎడమచేతులలో గదా చక్రములను ధరించియుండును. శరీరము కుడిభాగమున రుద్రచిహ్నములు, ఎడమభాగమున కేశవచిహ్నములు ఉండును. దక్షిణపార్శ్వవమున పార్వతి, వామపార్శ్వమున లక్ష్మి ఉందురు.
హయగ్రీవుని నాలుగుచేతులలో శంఖ-చక్ర-గదా-వేదములుండును. ఎడమపాదము అదిశేషునిమీదను, కుడిపాదము కచ్ఛపము వీపుపైనను ఉంచియుండును. దత్తాత్రేయునకు రెండు బాహువులుండును. వామాంకమున లక్ష్మి ఉండును. భగవంతుని పార్షదుడైన విష్వక్సేనుడు నాలుగుచేతులలో చక్ర-గదా-హల-శంఖములను ధరించియుండును.

22. Then (the form of) Viśvarūpa (of Viṣṇu) (should be endowed) with the club, noose, spear and arrow in the right hand and conch, bow, mace, noose, tomara (javelin), plough, axe, staff, sword and leather sling in the left hand.
23-24. The Harihara (Śiva and Viṣṇu) form of Viṣṇu (should be placed) on the right or left (side), (being endowed with) twenty hands, four faces and three eyes. He should either be lying on his left or reclining on the water. (He should further be represented) as his leg being held by the goddess Śrī (Lakṣmi). He should also be shown as being attended to by (the female divinities) Vimalā and others. He should also have the fourfaced (Brahmā) in the navel-lotus.
25. The form of Viṣṇu bearing the marks of Rudra and Keśava should hold a spear and sword in the right hand and the mace and disc in the other and be in the company of Gaurī and Lakṣmī (the consorts of Śiva and Viṣṇu).
26. The Hayaśiras (horse-headed) form of Viṣṇu (should be represented) as holding the conch, disc, mace and the Vedas. The left foot should rest on (the serpent) Śeṣa and the right on the back of tortoise.
27. The form of Dattātreya may have two arms, the goddess Śrī (Lakṣmī) being seated on the left lap. The Viṣvaksena form of Viṣṇu (may hold) a disc, mace, plough and conch.

*సొంత కోరిక లేకపోవడమంటే, సమస్తమూ ఏమి కాంక్షిస్తుందో అదే నా కాంక్ష నా వ్యక్తిగతమయిన లక్ష్యమంటూ ఏదీ లేదు అని అర్థం. మనం అస్తిత్వమంటే మనలో భాగమని వినడానికి అలవాటు పడ్డాం. మనం సముద్రపు అలలం. మనకు వ్యక్తిగత లక్ష్యాలు లేవు. ధ్యానమంటే మనకు ప్రత్యేకమయిన వునికి లేదని మనం గుర్తించడం మనం ద్వీపాలం కామని తెలుసుకోవడం. మనం అనంత ఖండంలో భాగాలం. దాన్ని దేవుడను, సత్యమను, అంతమమను, కేవలమను, నీ యిష్టమొచ్చిన పేరు పెట్టుకో!*
