🌻 3-3. kalādīnām tattvānām aviveko māyā - 1 🌻

🌴. The ignorance of various tattvas such as kala, etc., which make up the body which are responsible for suffering and bondage and mistaking them as the real self, this is delusion. 🌴

Kalā – the principle of kalā; ādīnāṁ - and so forth; tattvānām – thirty six tattva-s or principles; aviveko (avivekaḥ) – undifferentiated knowledge; māyā – illusion.

Kalā is the seventh tattva from Śiva tattva, which is the highest. The order is Śiva, Śaktī, Sadāśiva, Īśvara, Suddhavidyā, and Kalā. Beginning from kalā, till pṛthivī tattva, there are thirty one tattva-s. These thirty one tattva-s or principles are nothing but expansion of māyā. Till one crosses principle of kalā, one is bound by the influence of māyā. Maya hides the divine nature of created beings as it creates the sense of separateness from the Divine and from each other.

🌻 21. It is a Mistake made by Many Thinkers 🌻

The validity of genuine philosophical truths lies in their universality and necessity, and are not in need of any further verification of their tenability. They are illuminated by the torch of intuition, and hence any external verification of their validity is not only unnecessary but meaningless. They are always characterised by immediacy, universality and necessity and, consequently, by infallibility and perfect veracity. They hold good for all minds in all conditions, for they spring from the depths of knowledge.

There are certain features of reality pervading even ordinary experience, recognisable through subtle contemplation and reflection. It is the purpose of philosophy to study these pervasive features of reality making themselves felt in experience, so that by means of these visible features man may be in a position to rise directly to an intuition of what they feebly indicate. It is a mistake made by many thinkers to reject all super-rational experience as irrational and to debar it from the field of philosophical studies.

సూర్య రూపుడగు ఈ పరమాత్మునకు ఏడు అశ్వములు వాహనములుగానున్నవి. లేదా ఏడు నామములు కల ఒకే అశ్వము ఈతని వాహనము. 'ఏకో అశ్వో వహతి సప్తనామా' (తైత్తిరీయ ఆరణ్యకము 3.11) - 'సప్తనామములు కల ఒకే అశ్వము ఈతని రథమును మోయుచు కొనిపోవుచున్నది' అను శ్రుతి వచనము ఇందు ప్రమాణము.

In the form of Sun, which is an effulgence of paramātma, He has seven horses as His vehicle. Or one horse with seven names is carrying Him vide the śruti 'एको अश्वो वहति सप्तनामा' / 'Eko aśvo vahati saptanāmā' (Taittirīya āraṇyaka 3.11).

తాత్పర్యము : జీవుడు సుఖాభిలాషతో మిగుల కష్టపడి సంపాదించుకొనిన వస్తువులను అన్నింటిని కాలపురుషుడు నశింపజేయును. ఫలితముగా ఆ జీవుడు ఎంతయు పరితపించును.

02. yaṁ yam artham upādatte duḥkhena sukha-hetave
taṁ taṁ dhunoti bhagavān pumāñ chocati yat-kṛte

MEANING : Whatever is produced by the materialist with great pain and labor for so-called happiness, the Supreme Personality, as the time factor, destroys, and for this reason the conditioned soul laments.

PURPORT : The main function of the time factor, which is a representative of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is to destroy everything. The materialists, in material consciousness, are engaged in producing so many things in the name of economic development. They think that by advancing in satisfying the material needs of man they will be happy, but they forget that everything they have produced will be destroyed in due course of time. From history we can see that there were many powerful empires on the surface of the globe that were constructed with great pain and great perseverance, but in due course of time they have all been destroyed. Still the foolish materialists cannot understand that they are simply wasting time in producing material necessities, which are destined to be vanquished in due course of time. This waste of energy is due to the ignorance of the mass of people, who do not know that they are eternal and that they have an eternal engagement also. They do not know that this span of life in a particular type of body is but a flash in the eternal journey. Not knowing this fact, they take the small flash of life to be everything, and they waste time in improving economic conditions.

🌹. వినాయక చవితి ప్రాధాన్యత 🌹

భారతీయ సంప్రదాయంలో ప్రతీ పూజ, వ్రతములో విఘ్నేశ్వరుని ఆరాధన చాలా ప్రత్యేకమైంది. దక్షిణాయనంలో ప్రతీ మాసానికి ఒక ప్రాధాన్యత ఉంది. విశేషంగా భాద్రపద మాసం వినాయకుని ఆరాధనకు, ఆశ్వయుజ మాసం పార్వతీదేవి (దుర్దాదేవి) ఆరాధనకు, కార్తీకమాసం శివారాధనకు, మార్గశిరం సుబ్రహ్మణ్యుని ఆరాధనకు చాలా ప్రత్యేకమైనవి.

భాద్రపదమాసంలో వచ్చే పండుగలలో వినాయక చవితి చాలా ప్రత్యేకమైనది. ప్రప్రథమముగా ఏ పని ప్రారంభించాలన్నా గణపతి పూజతో ప్రారంభిస్తాం. పిన్నల నుండి పెద్దల వరకూ ఎంతో భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో ఎంతో వేడుకగా చేసుకునేది ఈ చవితి పండుగ.

బ్రహ్మ, విష్ణు, మహేశ్వరాది దేవతా గణాలందరికీ విఘ్నేశ్వరుడు ప్రభువు. అంటే హిందువుల యొక్క సకల దేవతా గణాలకు ఆయనే ప్రభువన్న మాట. బ్రహ్మ మొదట ఈ సృష్టి కార్యాన్ని ప్రారంభించే ముందు గణపతిని పూజించినట్లు ఋగ్వేదం చెబుతోంది. బ్రహ్మవైవర్తన పురాణమందు 'గణ' శబ్దానికి "గ" అంటే విజ్ఞానమని 'ణ' అంటే మోక్షమని అర్థం చెప్పబడింది. ఈ సృష్టి అంతా గణాలతో కూడుకుని ఉంది. అటువంటి గణాలు అన్నీ కలిస్తేనే ఈ ప్రపంచం. అట్టి ప్రపంచాన్ని అహంకారానికి గుర్తు అయిన మూషికాన్ని అధిరోహించి పాలించే ప్రభువు ఈ మహాగణపతి. ఇట్టి గణపతిని ఆరు రూపాలుగా పూజలు జరుపుతూంటారు. 1. మహాగణపతి, 2. హరిద్ర గణపతి, 3. స్వర్ణ గణపతి, 4. ఉచ్చిష్ట గణపతి, 5. సంతాన గణపతి, 6. నవనీత గణపతి అని అలాగే ప్రపంచం అంతటా వారి వారి ప్రాంతీయతను బట్టి వివిధ నామాలతో ఆరాధిస్తూ ఉంటారు. ఈ జ్యేష్టరాజునకు సిద్ధి, బుద్ధి అను ఇద్దరు కుమార్తెలను విశ్వరూప ప్రజాపతి వివాహం చెయ్యగా వారికి క్షేముడు,లాభుడు అనే కుమారులు కలిగినారు. అందువల్ల ఆయన ఆరాధన వల్ల క్షేమం, లాభం కలుగుతుందని ప్రతీతి.

🌹 Ganapathi is the embodiment of Buddhi (intellect) and Jnana (wisdom). Truth emerges out of wisdom and ultimately leads to Ananda (bliss). This is the teaching of Ganapathi. You are under the false impression that today is the birthday of Vinayaka, but He has neither birth nor death. He has neither beginning nor end. He is the eternal witness. All the festivals of Bhaarath are suffused with deep inner meaning. They are highly sacred. Festivals are not just meant for preparing delicious items and consuming them. They are meant to remind us of Divinity. On festival days, you decorate your houses with buntings of green leaves and you also wear new clothes, discarding the old ones. Likewise, you should give up your old bad habits and cultivate new and sacred ideas.
