🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
*అర్జునుడు ప్రశ్నించెను: ఓ దేవదేవా! పురుషోత్తమా! బ్రహ్మమననేమి? ఆత్మయననేమి? కామ్యకర్మలననేవి? భౌతికసృష్టి యననేమి? దేవతలన నెవరు? దయతో ఇది నాకు వివరింపుము.*
🌷. భాష్యము :
“బ్రహ్మమననేమి?” యను ప్రశ్నతో మొదలైన అర్జునుని వివిధప్రశ్నలను శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు ఈ అధ్యాయనము సమాధానము లొసగును. కామ్యకర్మలు, భక్తియుక్తసేవ, యోగనియమములు, శుద్ధభక్తిని గూర్చియు దీని యందు భగవానుడు వివరించుచున్నాడు. పరతత్త్వమనునది బ్రహ్మముగా, పరమాత్మగా, భగవానునిగా తెలియబడుచున్నది శ్రీమద్భాగవతము వివరించుచున్నది. కాని దీనితోపాటు జీవాత్మ కూడా బ్రహ్మముగానే పిలువబడుచుండును. దేహము, ఆత్మ, మనస్సు యనువానిగా అన్వయింపదగిన ఆత్మను గూర్చియు అర్జునుడు ప్రశ్నించుచున్నాడు. వేదనిఘంటువు ప్రకారము ఆత్మ యనగా మనస్సు, ఆత్మ, దేహము, ఇంద్రియములనియు భావము.
ఇచ్చట అర్జునుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుని పురుషోత్తమునిగా సంభోదించెను. అనగా అతడు పరమపురుషునే ప్రశ్నించుచున్నాడు గాని సామాన్య స్నేహితుని కాదు. శ్రీకృష్ణుడు నిశ్చితమైన సమాధానములొసగు పరమప్రామాణికుడని అతడు ఎరిగియున్నాడు.

🌷 Translation :
*Arjuna inquired: O my Lord, O Supreme Person, what is Brahman? What is the self? What are fruitive activities? What is this material manifestation? And what are the demigods? Please explain this to me.*
🌹 Purport :
In this chapter Lord Kṛṣṇa answers different questions from Arjuna, beginning with “What is Brahman?” The Lord also explains karma (fruitive activities), devotional service and yoga principles, and devotional service in its pure form. The Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam explains that the Supreme Absolute Truth is known as Brahman, Paramātmā and Bhagavān. In addition, the living entity, the individual soul, is also called Brahman. Arjuna also inquires about ātmā, which refers to body, soul and mind. According to the Vedic dictionary, ātmā refers to the mind, soul, body and senses also.
Arjuna has addressed the Supreme Lord as Puruṣottama, Supreme Person, which means that he was putting these questions not simply to a friend but to the Supreme Person, knowing Him to be the supreme authority able to give definitive answers.

ఇపుడు వాసుదేవాదులగు తొమ్మండుగురి మూర్తుల లక్షణము చెప్పెదను. వాసుదేవునకు పై కుడిచేతిలో చక్రముండుచట ప్రధాన చిహ్నము ఒక పార్శ్వమున బ్రహ్మ, మరొక పార్శ్వము శివుడు సర్వదా ఉందురు.
ఇతర విషయములన్నియు వెనుక చెప్పినట్లే, శంఖమునుగాని, వరదముద్రను గాని ధరించి యుండును. ద్విభూజుడు కావచ్చును. చతర్భుజుడు కావచ్చును. బలరామునకు నాలుగు భుజములుండను. కుడిచేతులలో హల-ముసలములను, ఎడమచేతులలో గదా- పద్మములను ధరించి ఉండును.
ప్రద్యుమ్నుడు కుడిచేతులలో చక్ర-శంఖములను, ఎడమ చేతులలో ధనుర్బాణములను ధరించి యుండును. లేదా రెండు భుజములుండి ఒకచేతిలో గధను, రెండవ దానిలో ధనస్సును ధరించి యుండును. ఈ ఆయుధములను ప్రసన్నతా పూర్వకముగ ధరించి యుండును. లేదా ఒక హస్తమున ధనస్సు, రెండవ హస్తమున బాణము ఉండును.
అనిరుద్ధ-నారాయణుల విగ్రహములు చతుర్భుజములు బ్రహ్మహంసారూఢుడు. నాలుగుముఖములు, ఎనిమిది భుజములు, విశాలమైన ఉదరమండలము, పొడవైన గడ్డము, శిరస్సుపై జటలు ఉండును కుడిచేతులలో అక్షసూత్రమును-స్రువమును, ఎడమచేతులలో కుండికను, అజ్యస్థాలిని ధరించి యుండును. ఎడమ ప్రక్క సరస్వతి, కుడిప్రక్క సావిత్రి ఉండును.

10. I shall describe the characteristics of nine forms of Viṣṇu commencing with Vāsudeva. The mace (is placed) on the right half (upper arm) and the excellent disc on the left half (upper arm).
11. The image of Vāsudeva may be made as before or as having four hands or two hands, one holding a conch and the other as conferring boons and having Brahmā and Īśa (Śiva) always on either side.
12. (The figure of) Balarāma (is represented) as holding a plough, mace, club and lotus. (The image of) Pradyumna (is represented as having) thunderbolt and conch on the right arm and the bow in the left arm.
13. Or Pradyumna (is represented) as having the mace resting on the navel with pleasure or holding the bow and arrow. Aniruddha may be (represented as) having four arms. In the same way Lord Nārāyaṇa (may also be represented).
14. (The image of) Brahmā is (represented as having) four faces, four hands, big belly, long beards, matted hair, and (having) swan as the vehicle in front (of him).
15. (There should be) a rosary and a ladle on the right hand and a water-pot and vessel to hold the sacrificial clarified butter. Sarasvatī and Sāvitrī (consorts of Brahmā) (should be placed) on the left and right sides.

*ఒక విషయం యొక్క జ్ఞానం ద్వారా అన్ని విషయాల జ్ఞానం వస్తుందంటే, ప్రతిదీ ఆ ఒక్క విషయంతో రూపొందించబడిందని అర్థం. నిజంగా ఈ ప్రకృతి విభిన్న స్వభావాలతో తయారు చేయబడిందనే అపోహను సరిదిద్దాలి. నిజానికి ఉన్నది ఒకటే. శాశ్వతత్వం కోసం అనేక విషయాల వెనుక పరుగులు తీయడంలో జీవుడిని అంతర్లీనంగా ఒక విముఖత ఉంది. ఆ విముఖత కు కారణం జీవుడు ఎదిగేకొద్ది పూర్తి ఉనికి యొక్క ఏకత్వాన్ని అర్థం చేసుకుని ఒకే ఉదుటున దాన్ని సాధించడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తాడు కాబట్టి.*

*పునాది చైతన్యం బలహీనంగా ఉంటే, అత్యంత శక్తివంతమైన శివ చైతన్యం వ్యక్తం కాలేదు. సరైన సాధన పూర్తయినప్పుడు మాత్రమే తురీయ చైతన్య స్థితికి చేరతారు. ఆ తర్వాత విముక్తి జరుగుతుంది. అంటే శరీరం మరణిస్తుంది దీని అర్థం కాదు, కానీ అతని చైతన్యం అతని సాధన ద్వారా శుద్ధి చేయబడుతుంది.

*🌴. During different states of consciousness as waking (jāgrat), dreaming (svapna), profound sleep (suṣupta), there is the delight and enjoyment of the Fourth State Turya 🌴*
*If the foundational consciousness is weak, the most powerful Shiva cannot manifest. When proper preparatory work is completed, turya takes over the consciousness, and the emancipation happens thereafter. It does not mean that his body ceases to exist (death), but his consciousness is purified by his preparatory work, making it easier for turya to take complete control of his consciousness.*
*He still experiences the first three stages of consciousness, the exception being that the quality of his consciousness has undergone complete transformation, moving closer and closer to Shiva, awaiting the final realisation of Shiva at anytime.*
