🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
*పూర్వకాలమున ముక్త పురుషులందరు నా దివ్యతత్త్వపు ఈ అవగాహనతోనే కర్మలను ఒనరించి యుండిరి. కావున నీవు కూడా వారిని అనుసరించుచు నీ కర్మనొనరింపుము.*
🌻. భాష్యము :
మానవులలో రెండు తరగతులవారు కలరు. ఒకరు హృదయమునందు మలినభావములను కలవారు కాగా, మిగిలినవారు కల్మషదూరులై యుందురు. ఈ ఇరువురికిని కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావానము సమానముగా శ్రేయోదాయకమైనదే. మలినచిత్తులు భక్తియోగము నందలి నియమితసూత్రములను అనుసరించుచు పవిత్రతను పొందుటకై కృష్ణభక్తి విధానమును స్వీకరింపవచ్చును.
విషయమాలిన్యము తొలగియున్నవారు సైతము ఈ కృష్ణభక్తిభావన యందు కొనసాగుచు, ఇతరులు తమను అనుసరించి లాభపడురీతిలో ఆదర్శముగా కర్మల నొనరింపవచ్చును. మూర్ఖజనులు లేదా భక్తి యొక్క ఆరంభదశలో నున్నవారు కొందరు తగినంత కృష్ణపరజ్ఞానము లేకుండుటచే కర్మల నుండి విరమింపగోరుదురు.
యుధరంగకర్మల నుండి విరమించవలెననెడి అర్జునుని కోరికను శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు ఆమోదింపలేదు. అనగా మనుజుడు కర్మను ఏ విధముగా ఒనరించవలెనో తెలిపిన చాలును. కృష్ణపరములగు కర్మల నుండి విరమించి కృష్ణభక్తి ప్రదర్శనము కావించుచు ఒంటరిగా కూర్చుండుట యనునది కృష్ణపరమగు కర్మరంగమున నియుక్తమగుట కన్నను ముఖ్యమెన్నడును కాబోదు. కనుకనే పూర్వము తెలుపబడిన వివస్వానుడు(సూర్యదేవుడు) వంటి శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని శిష్యులను అనుసరించుచు కృష్ణభక్తిభావనలో వర్తింపవలసినదిగా ఇచ్చట అర్జునుడు భోధింపబడెను.
శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు తన పూర్వకర్మలన్నింటిని మరియు పూర్వము కృష్ణభక్తిభావనలో వర్తించిన వారి కర్మలన్నింటిని సంపూర్ణముగా ఎరిగియుండెను. కనుకనే తన నుండి లక్షలసంవత్సరములకు పూర్వము విద్యను బడసిన సూర్యదేవుని కర్మలను అతడు అనుసరణియములని పలుకుచున్నాడు. శ్రీకృష్ణుని అట్టి శిష్యులే ఇచ్చట ముక్తపురుషులుగా పేర్కొనబడిరి. వారన్దరునుఆ దేవదేవుడు నిర్దేశించిన కార్యనిర్వాహణమందు నియుక్తులై యుందురు.

🌷 Translation :
*All the liberated souls in ancient times acted with this understanding of My transcendental nature. Therefore you should perform your duty, following in their footsteps.*
🌹 Purport :
There are two classes of men. Some of them are full of polluted material things within their hearts, and some of them are materially free. Kṛṣṇa consciousness is equally beneficial for both of these persons. Those who are full of dirty things can take to the line of Kṛṣṇa consciousness for a gradual cleansing process, following the regulative principles of devotional service.
Those who are already cleansed of the impurities may continue to act in the same Kṛṣṇa consciousness so that others may follow their exemplary activities and thereby be benefited. Foolish persons or neophytes in Kṛṣṇa consciousness often want to retire from activities without having knowledge of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Arjuna’s desire to retire from activities on the battlefield was not approved by the Lord. One need only know how to act. To retire from the activities of Kṛṣṇa consciousness and to sit aloof making a show of Kṛṣṇa consciousness is less important than actually engaging in the field of activities for the sake of Kṛṣṇa.
Arjuna is here advised to act in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, following in the footsteps of the Lord’s previous disciples, such as the sun-god Vivasvān, as mentioned hereinbefore. The Supreme Lord knows all His past activities, as well as those of persons who acted in Kṛṣṇa consciousness in the past. Therefore He recommends the acts of the sun-god, who learned this art from the Lord some millions of years before. All such students of Lord Kṛṣṇa are mentioned here as past liberated persons, engaged in the discharge of duties allotted by Kṛṣṇa.

నారదుడు చెప్పెను: రాముడు పంపగా అంగదుడు వెళ్ళి రావణునితో ఇట్లు చెప్పెను. "వెంటనే సీతను రామునకు ఒప్పగించుము. కానిచో మరణింపగలవు"
యుద్ధమునకై ఉద్దతులైన రాక్షసుల గల రావణుడు అతనిని చంపుటకు ప్రయత్నించెను. అతడు తిరిగివచ్చి. "దశగ్రీవుడు యద్ధమును మాత్రమే కోరుచున్నాడు" అని రామునితో చెప్పెను.
ఆ మాట విని రాముడు వానరసమేతుడై లంక చేరెను. హనుమంతుడు మైందుడు, ద్వివిదుడు, జాంబవంతుడు, నలుడు, నీలుడు, తారుడు, అంగద-ధూమ్ర-సుషేణులు, కేనరి, గజ - పనస - వినత - రంభ - శరభ క్రథనులు, బల శాలియైన గవాక్షుడు; దధివక్త్ర - గవయ - గంధమాదనులు, తదితర వానరులును వెళ్ళిరి. వీరితోడను, అసంఖ్యాకులగు ఇతరవానరులతోడను కూడిన సుగ్రీవుడు కూడ వెళ్ళెను.
వానరరాక్షసుల మధ్య సంకుల యుద్ధము కొనసాగెను. రాక్షసులు బాణములు, శక్తులు, గదలు మొదలగు వాటితో వానరులను కొట్టిరి. వానరులు, గోళ్ళు దంతములు, శిలలు మొదలగు వాటితో వానరులను కొట్టిరి. రాక్షసుల ఏనుగులు, గుఱ్ఱములు, రథములు, కాలిబంటులు-ఈ రూపములో నన్ను సైన్యము చంపబడెను. హనుమంతుడు శత్రువైన ధూమ్రాక్షున పర్వతశిఖరముతో చెంపెను. నీలుడు యుద్ధము చేయుచున్న అకంపన- ప్రహస్తులను చెంపెను.
గరుత్మంతుని దర్శనముచే ఇంద్రజిత్తు ప్రయోగించిన శరబంధము నుండి విములైన రామలక్ష్మణులు బాణములతో రాక్షస సైన్యమును సంహరించిరి. రణరంగమున రాముడు బాణములచే రావణున జర్జరశరీరునిగా చేసెను. రావణుడు దుఃఖితుడై కుంభకర్ణుని మేల్కొలిపెను.

Nārada said:
1. Being asked by Rāma, Aṅgada went to Rāvaṇa (and) said, “Let Jānakī be returned to Rāghava immediately, otherwise you will die.”
2. Rāvaṇa was intent on killing (Aṅgada). The ten-headed demon who was ready to fight sent words to Rāma that war was the only way thought of.
3- 5. After hearing these words, Rāma came to Laṅkā with the monkeys for the sake of battle. The monkeys were Hanūmat, Mainda, Dvivida, Jāmbavat, Nala, Nīla, Tāra, Aṅgada, Dhūmra, Suṣeṇa, Keśarī, Gaya, Panasa, Vinata, Rambha, Śarabha, Krathana the strong, Gavākṣa, Dadhivaktra, Gandhamādana and others and Sugrīva. With these and other innumerable monkeys (Rāma came to Laṅkā).
6. There was a disorderly battle between the demons and monkeys. The demons killed the monkeys with arrows, spears and mace”.
7. The monkeys killed demons with nails, teeth and stones. The force of the demons consisting of elepḥants cavalry, chariots and infantry was destroyed.
8. Hanūmat killed the enemy Dhūmrākṣa with a big rock. Nīla killed the fighting Akampana and Prahasta.
9. Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa fainted on account of the arrow discharged by Indrajit. Regaining their consciousness after perceiving Tārkṣya (the chief of the eagles), they killed the forces of demons.
10. Rāma made Rāvaṇa shattered in the battle by means of arrows. And the grief-stricken Rāvaṇa woke up Kumbhakarṇa.

*The evolution of consciousness does not end with man, really. Man may be described as the image of God only figuratively but not truly, for there has to be a further ascent in the process of evolution from man to superman, a stage which acts as a link between man and the ultimate Godhead. Indications of the higher category of levels of life, beyond the human state, are available in the positive statements recorded in the Upanishads to the effect that above even the best of human beings there are the levels of the realms of the Pitrs, Gandharvas, Devas, the higher gods of the heavens, the perfected ones almost converging in the stages of Virat, Hiranyagarbha, Ishvara and Brahman.*
*That is to say, man has to evolve further on and he at present occupies a place somewhat midway between god and brute crossed at one point. The restlessness, the finitude, the consciousness of limitation from every side, the incessant and resistless longings for expansion of one's suzerainty in larger dimensions of space and endless life in time, nay, even the compulsions of being born and dying, announce in loud voice that man is far from the expected perfection to be reached in nature's scheme of evolution, and there is a long way higher up, from man to Godman, and from Godman to God Himself.*
