When Śrī Mātā is perceived as the Divine Mother who pervades both the ignorant and the enlightened, the virtuous and the sinful, the gods and the demons, light and darkness - pervading everything and bringing about transformation while bestowing completeness, such a realization is known as the Ṣoḍaśī Darśana (vision of Ṣoḍaśī). Understanding this truth is Ṣoḍaśī Vidyā. In creation, Śrī Lalitā and Śrī Kṛṣṇa are the ones who manifested the knowledge of Ṣoḍaśī. It has been repeatedly emphasized in this commentary that Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Śrī Lalitā are one and the same.
