*🌿🌼🙏. దత్తాత్రేయుడు అత్రి మహర్షి, అనసూయాదేవి కుమారుడు. అత్రి మహర్షి పుత్ర సంతానము కొరకై ఘోర తపస్సు చేసి దివ్యశక్తులు కలిగిన కుమారుడు కావాలని త్రిమూర్తులను కోరుకున్నాడు. తన తపస్సు ఫలితంగా బ్రహ్మ అంశమున చంద్రుడు, విష్ణు అంశమున దత్తుడు, శివ అంశమున దుర్వాసుడు జన్మించారు. కాలాంతరమున జన్మించిన ఆ ముగ్గురే శ్రీదత్తుడు అను నామముతో ప్రసిద్ధి చెందిరి. చంద్రుడు, దుర్వాసుడు తమ యొక్క శక్తులను దత్తునికి ధారపోశారు. దత్తుడు అనగా తనంత తానుగా ఎదుటి వ్యక్తికి ఇష్టముతో పెంచుకొనుటకై వెళ్లినవాడు అని అర్థం. శ్రీహరి తన జన్మస్థలమైన వైకుంఠ పట్టణమును విడిచి, అత్రికి పుత్రుడైన కారణముగా ఈయన ఆత్రేయుడైనాడు. ‘దత్తుడు + ఆత్రేయుడు ‘దత్తాత్రేయుడు’ అని మనం వ్యవహరించు చున్నాము.🙏🌼🌿*
*🌿🌼🙏. ఆధిభౌతికము, ఆధిదైవికము, ఆధ్యాత్మికము అనే త్రివిధాలయిన తాపాలను తన తపో మహిమతో తొలగించుకొన్న మహనీయుడు అత్రి మహర్షి. అత్రి పుత్రుడు కనుక ‘ఆత్రేయుడు’ అని కూడా పిలువబడినాడు. దత్తుడు గోమతీ నదీ తీరమున సత్యజ్ఞాన సముపార్జనకై తపస్సు చేసి సకల విద్యలలో ఆరితేరి జ్ఞానమును సంపాదించి సత్యజ్ఞాని అయ్యాడు. దత్తాత్రేయుడికి ఆరు చేతులు మూడు తలలు నడిమి శిరస్సు విష్ణువుది. కుడిది శివుడిది ఎడమది బ్రహ్మ శిరం. కుడి భాగము సద్గురు స్వరూపము, ఎడమభాగము పరబ్రహ్మస్వరూపము మధ్యభాగాన గురుమూర్తిగా అజ్ఞానమును తొలగించి శ్రీదత్తుడు లోకముల రక్షణ చేయును. మూడు ముఖములతో, ఆరు భుజములతో నాల్గు కుక్కలతో, ఆవుతో కనిపిస్తాడు. నాల్గు కుక్కలు నాల్గు వేదములు, ఆవు మనస్సే మాయాశక్తి, మూడు ముఖములు త్రిమూర్తులు. సృష్టి, స్థితి, లయములు. త్రిశూలము ఆచారము, చక్రము అవిద్యా నాశకము, శంఖము నాదము సమస్త నిధి, డమరు సర్వవేదములు దీని నుంచి పాదుర్భవించినవి. కమండలము సకల బాధలను దూరం చేసి శుభాలను చేకూర్చుటకు ప్రతీక.🙏🌼🌿*

*MEANING : No one other than the Supreme Personality of Godhead, as the localized Paramātmā, the partial representation of the Lord, is directing all inanimate and animate objects. He is present in the three phases of time-past, present and future. Therefore, the conditioned soul is engaged in different activities by His direction, and in order to get free from the threefold miseries of this conditional life, we have to surrender unto Him only.*
*PURPORT : Mattaḥ smṛtir jñānam apohanaṁ ca (BG 15.15). The Lord says, "Through Me one gets real knowledge and memory, and one also forgets through Me." To one who wants to be materially satisfied or who wants to lord it over material nature, the Lord gives the opportunity to forget His service and engage in the so-called happiness of material activities. Similarly, when one is frustrated in lording it over material nature and is very serious about getting out of this material entanglement, the Lord, from within, gives him the knowledge that he has to surrender unto Him; then there is liberation.*
*This knowledge cannot be imparted by anyone other than the Supreme Lord or His representative.This means that Kṛṣṇa as the Supersoul is seated within the heart of the living entity, and when the living entity is serious, the Lord directs him to take shelter of His representative, a bona fide spiritual master. Directed from within and guided externally by the spiritual master, one attains the path of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, which is the way out of the material clutches. The seed of Kṛṣṇa consciousness is sown within the heart of the conditioned soul, and when one hears instruction from the spiritual master, the seed fructifies, and one's life is blessed.*

*అన్వేషకులు స్వర్గ ద్వారం వద్ద కూడా సురక్షితంగా లేరు, జాన్ బనియన్ తన పిలోగ్రిమ్స్ ప్రోగ్రెస్ లో పేర్కొన్నాడు. స్వర్గ ప్రవేశం వద్ద కూడా నరకానికి దారితీసే రంధ్రం ఉండే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఒక పెద్ద ద్వారం నేరుగా స్వర్గానికి దారి తీస్తుంది. మనం అక్కడే నిలబడి ఉంటాము. కానీ అక్కడే నరకానికి దారి తీసే ఒక గొయ్యి ఉంది, అందులో పడిపోతాం. తరవాత మరి మనం ఎక్కడికి వెళ్తాం? యమ నివాసంలోకి. సరే, స్వర్గ ప్రవేశ ద్వారం వద్ద అక్కడ ఒక రంధ్రం ఉండటమే విచిత్రం. ఇది సాధ్యమే, అని జాన్ బన్యన్ చెప్పారు. అలాగే చాలా మంది చెప్పారు. విషయం ఏమిటంటే, పడవ అవతలి ఒడ్డు దగ్గర కూడా మునిగిపోవచ్చు-మధ్యలోనే అవసరం లేదు.*
*ప్రపంచంలోని శక్తుల విషయంలో మనం చాలా జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండాలి. ప్రపంచం మన ముందు చిన్న పిల్లి లేదా ఎలుక కాదు, ప్రపంచం మొత్తాన్ని మన వేళ్ళతో కట్టిపడేసే గొప్ప యోగులం అనే భావనలో మనం ఉండకూడదు. అది అలా కాదు. మనం కృష్ణులం కాదు, అర్జునుని ఒంటి చేత్తో దీవించడానికి. మనం ఆధ్యాత్మికంగా శిశువులం. మరియు పాండవుల హృదయాలలో వికసించబోతున్న ఆత్మ యొక్క చిన్న ఆకాంక్షలను ప్రతిఘటించగల ఆనాటి వ్యూహాలను కలిగి ఉన్న కౌరవుల ముందు శిశువు పాండవులు సమానమైనవారేమీ కాదు. మంచితనం ఎల్లప్పుడూ ముందు దశలలో విజయం సాధించదు. సత్యం విజయం సాధిస్తుంది. కానీ ఎప్పుడూ కాదు.*

*The seekers are not safe even at the gate of heaven, as John Bunyan put it in his Pilgrim's Progress. There is a possibility of there being a hole leading to hell even at the entrance to heaven. A big gate leads straight to heaven and we are just there, standing. But there is a pit, like a manhole, and we fall in. And where do we go? Into Yama's abode. Well, it is strange that there is a hole there, just at the entrance to heaven. This is possible, says John Bunyan, and says everyone. The idea is that the boat can sink even near the other shore—not necessarily in the middle.*
*The point is that we have to be very cautious about the powers of the world. The world is not a petty cat or a mouse in front of us, and we should not be under the impression that we are great yogis who can simply tie the whole world with our fingers. It is not so. We are not Krishnas, blessing Arjuna with one hand. We are babies, spiritually. And the baby Pandavas were not an equal match to the terror of the Kauravas, who had the tactics of the time, who could counterblast the little aspirations of the spirit which were about to blossom in the hearts of the Pandavas. Goodness does not always succeed in the earlier stages. Truth triumphs not always.*
