🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
*నియమించు వాడును, సూక్ష్మము కన్నను సూక్ష్మమైన వాడను, సమస్తమును పోషించు వాడును, భౌతిక భావనలకు పరమైనవాడును, అచింత్యుడును, రూపసహితుడును అగు పరమపురుషుని సర్వజ్ఞునిగను మరియు ప్రాచీనునిగను ప్రతి యొక్కరు ధ్యానము చేయవలెను. సూర్యుని వలె తేజోసంపన్నుడును మరియు దివ్యుడును అగు అతడు భౌతిక ప్రకృతికి అతీతుడు.*
🌷. భాష్యము :
భగవానుని స్మరించు విధానము ఈ శ్లోకమున తెలుపబడినది. ముఖ్యమైన విషయమేమనగా అతడు నిరాకారుడు(శూన్యుడు) కాడు. నిరాకారము లేదా శూన్యమునందు ఎవ్వరును ధ్యానమును నిలుపలేరు. అది అతికష్టము. కాని శ్రీకృష్ణుని స్మరణము అత్యంత సులభమైనది. అట్టి స్మరణమే వాస్తవముగా ఇచ్చట పేర్కొనబడినది.
మొట్టమొదట మనము అతడు పరుషుడని (రూప సహితుడని) తెలిసికొనవలెను. అనగా శ్రీకృష్ణనిగాని లేక శ్రీరామునిగాని సచ్చిదానందవిగ్రహునిగానే మనము ద్యానింపవలెను. రాముని తలచినను లేదా కృష్ణుని తలచినను అతడు ఎట్టివాడో ఈ శ్లోకమునందు వివరింపబడినది. శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు “కవి” యని ఇచ్చట వర్ణింపబడినాడు. అనగా భూత, భవిష్యత్, వర్తమానములను తెలియుట ద్వారా సమస్తము నెరిగియుండెడి సర్వజ్ఞుడని భావము. సమస్తమునకు అది అతడే కనుక ప్రాచీనునిగా పిలువబడినాడు. సమస్తము అతని నుండియే ఉద్భవించినది. జగన్నియామకుడు మరియు మనుజుల పోషకుడుపోషకుడు, శిక్షకుడు అతడే. అతడే సూక్ష్మము కన్నను సూక్ష్మమైనవాడు. వెంట్రుక కొనలో పదివేలవంతు యుండెడి ఆత్మ యందును అచింత్యముగా ప్రవేశింపగలిగినంత సూక్ష్మమైనవాడు గనుకనే అతడు సూక్ష్మమైనవాటిలో సూక్ష్మమైనవాడని పిలువబడినాడు.
దేవదేవునిగా అతడు అణువు నందును మరియు అతిసూక్ష్మమైనట్టి దాని హృదయమునందును ప్రవేశించి పరమాత్మరూపమున నియమించుచుండును. అతిసూక్ష్మమైనను అతడు సర్వత్రా వ్యాపించి సమస్తమును పోషించుచున్నాడు. అతని వలననే సమస్త గ్రహమండలము నిలిచియున్నది.

*sarvasya dhātāram acintya-rūpam āditya-varṇaṁ tamasaḥ parastāt*
🌷 Translation :
*One should meditate upon the Supreme Person as the one who knows everything, as He who is the oldest, who is the controller, who is smaller than the smallest, who is the maintainer of everything, who is beyond all material conception, who is inconceivable, and who is always a person. He is luminous like the sun, and He is transcendental, beyond this material nature.*
🌹 Purport :
The process of thinking of the Supreme is mentioned in this verse. The foremost point is that He is not impersonal or void. One cannot meditate on something impersonal or void. That is very difficult. The process of thinking of Kṛṣṇa, however, is very easy and is factually stated herein.
First of all, the Lord is puruṣa, a person – we think of the person Rāma and the person Kṛṣṇa. And whether one thinks of Rāma or of Kṛṣṇa, what He is like is described in this verse of Bhagavad-gītā. The Lord is kavi; that is, He knows past, present and future and therefore knows everything. He is the oldest personality because He is the origin of everything; everything is born out of Him.
He is also the supreme controller of the universe, and He is the maintainer and instructor of humanity. He is smaller than the smallest. The living entity is one ten-thousandth part of the tip of a hair, but the Lord is so inconceivably small that He enters into the heart of this particle. Therefore He is called smaller than the smallest. As the Supreme, He can enter into the atom and into the heart of the smallest and control him as the Supersoul. Although so small, He is still all-pervading and is maintaining everything.
By Him all these planetary systems are sustained. We often wonder how these big planets are floating in the air. It is stated here that the Supreme Lord, by His inconceivable energy, is sustaining all these big planets and systems of galaxies.

హయాగ్రీవుడు చెప్పెను: సూర్యుడు ఏడు గుఱ్ఱములు కట్టిన, ఒకే చక్రముగల రథముపై రెండు పద్మములను హస్తములలో ధరించి యుండును. ఆతని దక్షిణ పార్శ్వమున దండి సిరా బుడ్డి లేఖిని ధరించి యుండును. వామపార్శ్వమున పింగళుడు దండమును ధరించి ద్వారము నందుండును. వీరిరువురను సూర్యుని పార్షదులు. పార్శ్వములందు ఇద్దరు స్త్రీలు వాలవ్యజనమును ధరించుయందురు. రాణియైన (భార్యయైన) ఛాయాదేవి ప్రక్క నుండును. లేదా అశ్వము పైన కూర్చున్న ఒక్క సూర్యుని ప్రతిమ మాత్రమే కన్పించవలెను. సమస్త దిక్పాలకులును వరద ముద్రతో, రెండేసి పద్మములు ధరించి సాయుధులై దిక్కుల వరుసలో నుందురు.
పండ్రెండు దళముల కమలమును నిర్మింపవలెను. సూర్యుడు, అర్యమ మొదలగు ద్వాదశ సూర్యులను ఆ ద్వాదశ దళములపై స్థాపింపవలెను. ఈ స్థాపనము పశ్చిమవాయవ్య దిక్కలతో ప్రారంభించి నైరృతిదిక్కు వరకును ఉన్న దళములపై చేయవలెను ఈ ఆదిత్య గణమునకు నాలుగేసి చేతులు చేతులలో ముద్గర - శూల - చక్ర - కమలములు ఉండును.
అగ్నేయము నుండి నైరృతి వరకు, నైరృతి నుండి వాయవ్యము వరకు, వాయవ్యము నుండి ఈశాన్యము వరకు, ఈశాన్యము నుండి అగ్నేయము వరకు ఉన్న దళములపై స్థాపింపవలెను.

*🌻 Characteristics of the images of the Sun and other planets - 1 🌻*
The Lord said:
1. (The image of) the Sun (should be made) to ride a chariot having one wheel and seven horses. (He must) hold two lotuses, ink-stand, pen and a staff in his right hand.
2. Piṅgala, an attendant and gate-keeper of the Sun (should be placed) on the left with the mace in his hand. (Sun-god) should have female attendants bearing chowries (fly-flappers) and the pale-looking consort by his side.
3. Or (the image of) the Sun should be made as riding a horse alone. The guardian deities of different quarters should duly be endowed with weapons, holding two lotuses (in hands) and bestowing boons.
4. (The images of) Agni and other gods bearing the club, trident, disc and lotus should be placed in different directions (around). (The images of) the forms of Sun, commencing with Aryamā are represented as possessing four arms and placed in a diagram of twelve petals.

*వాస్తవికత యొక్క అనుభవం అనేది కేవలం అనుభవంలా మాత్రమే ఉంటుంది. అతీతత్వంతో విభేదించబడదు. సవరణలకు అందదు. అది అపరిమితంగా ఉంటుంది. ఈ ఏకత్వంలో అన్ని రూపాలు కలిసిపోయి, అవి దానిలో అదృశ్యమవుతాయి. ఈ వాస్తవికత-అనుభవం లక్షణరహితమైనది, తనలో తానే సత్యంగా భాసిల్లేది, ఆలోచనకు పైన ఉండేది, మరియు ఉనికిలో ఉన్న ప్రతి పాక్షిక అంశానికి అతీతమైనది. కానీ అన్ని తనలో ఇముడ్చకుని ఉండేది. ఎందుకంటే సత్య స్పర్శ లేనిదే ఏదీ సంపూర్ణం కాలేదు.*
ఈ ఉనికి కేవలం ఒకటిగానే ఉంటుంది. ఎందుకంటే దాని యొక్క అనుభవం ఎప్పుడూ సంపూర్ణంగా ఉంటుంది కాబట్టి. ఎందుకంటే మీకుండే అసంతృప్తులు అన్నీ అనేకత్వం నుండి, బహుత్వం నుండి వచ్చాయి. ఈ బహుళ వాస్తవికతలు పరస్పర విరుద్ధత తో ఉంటూ మీకు అసంతృప్తి తెచ్చి పెట్టాయి. పరమార్థం ఎప్పుడూ ఎన్ని పార్శ్వాలు నుండి అర్థం చేసుకునేందుకు ప్రయత్నించినా ఒకే అఖండంగా గొచరమవుతుంది.

*Tritaya – triads (the three stages of normal consciousness, awake, dream and deep sleep as discussed in sūtrās 8, 9 and 10.) bhoktā – the enjoyer (enjoying bliss). vīreśaḥ - the one who has conquered his senses, but yet to be liberated. This sūtrā can be called as an extension of sūtrā 7. The one, who could dissolve duality during the three mundane level of consciousness, attains bliss by entering the fourth level of consciousness, the turya stage.*
*Turya stage has traces of the first three stages of consciousness. During spiritual evolution, the traces of previous experience continue to exist for some time, and get dissolved during further practice and progression. When he is able to merge all the three mundane levels of consciousness in turya stage, he begins to enjoy the bliss. Spiritual advancement can be measured by one’s ability to concentrate on an object devoid any other thoughts.*
