*వ్యాఖ్య : సూర్యోదయం మరియు అస్తమించడం వంటివి భగవంతుని యొక్క పర్యవేక్షక సమయాలలో కాలానుగుణ మార్పులుగా సంభవిస్తాయి, కాబట్టి కాలానుగుణంగా మొక్కలు, పువ్వులు, మూలికలు మరియు వృక్షాలు అన్నీ భగవంతుని ఆధ్వర్యంలో పెరుగుతాయి. నాస్తిక తత్వవేత్తలు చెప్పినట్లు ఎటువంటి కారణం లేకుండా మొక్కలు స్వయంచాలకంగా పెరగడం కాదు. బదులుగా, అవి భగవంతుని యొక్క సర్వోన్నత క్రమాన్ని అనుసరించి పెరుగుతాయి. భగవంతుని వైవిధ్యమైన శక్తులు చాలా చక్కగా పనిచేస్తున్నాయని వేద సాహిత్యంలో ధృవీకరించ బడింది, కానీ ప్రతిదీ స్వయం చాలకంగా జరుగుతున్నట్లు కనిపిస్తుంది.*

*MEANING : Out of fear of the Supreme Personality of Godhead the trees, creepers, herbs and seasonal plants and flowers blossom and fructify, each in its own season.*
*PURPORT : As the sun rises and sets and the seasonal changes ensue at their appointed times by the superintendence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, so the seasonal plants, flowers, herbs and trees all grow under the direction of the Supreme Lord. It is not that plants grow automatically, without any cause, as the atheistic philosophers say. Rather, they grow in pursuance of the supreme order of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. It is confirmed in the Vedic literature that the Lord's diverse energies are working so nicely that it appears that everything is being done automatically.*

अत्र पृषोदरादित्वादुकारादेश इष्यते ॥
यद्वोदुम्बरमन्नाद्यम् तेन विश्वं तदात्मना ।
पोषयन्नुदुम्बर इत्युच्युतः कीर्त्यते बुधैः ॥
Ambarādudgato viṣṇurudumbara itīryate,
Atra prṣodarāditvādukārādeśa iṣyate.
Yadvodumbaramannādyam tena viśvaṃ tadātmanā,
Poṣayannudumbara ityucyutaḥ kīrtyate budhaiḥ.
*By a special rule 'a' becomes 'u' leading to Ud + ambara = Ud + umbara = Udumbara. Ambara is sky.*
*Since He is the creator of the universe that is made up of five elements, first of which is ether or sky, He is beyond the same i.e., ambara; hence He is Udumbaraḥ.*
*Or Udumbara means food etc. As He nourishes the universe with it, He is Udumbaraḥ. 'ऊर्ग्वा अन्नाद्य मुदुम्बरम्' / 'Ūrgvā annādya mudumbaram' - 'Udumbara means food etc.' from śruti is reference.*

Philosophy is not dry intellectual gymnastics; it is the wisdom of life reached after careful reflection and investigation, without which life is but a dismal failure. It was Socrates who said that those who lack right knowledge deserve to be stigmatised as slaves.*
*Plato was emphatic when he pronounced the truth that, unless philosophers become kings or the existing kings acquire the genuine wisdom of philosophy, unless political power and philosophy are combined in the same person, there will be no deliverance for cities, nor yet for the human race. Plato here declares an eternal truth, a truth which holds good for all times and climes: administrators should first and foremost be philosophers, not merely lovers but possessors of wisdom.*

Purification of mind is possible only when it is endowed with sattvic nature.*
