బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-
ఆ బ్రాహ్మణ స్త్రీ పార్వతీ దేవికి ఆ వ్రతమును నేర్పి మేనను పిలిచి 'ఈమెను యాత్రకు పంపుము' అని చెప్పెను (1). ఆమె అటులనే అని పలికి ప్రేమకు వశురాలై వియోగదుఃఖముచే పీడితురాలైననూ ధైర్యమును వహించి కాళిని పిలిచెను (2). ఆమె పార్వతిని పలుమార్లు కౌగిలించుకొని ఏడ్చెను. పార్వతి కూడ దయను కలిగించు మాటలను పలుకుతూ బిగ్గరగా ఏడ్చెను (3). హిమవంతుని పత్ని మరియు పార్వతి దుఃఖపీడితులై మూర్ఛను పొందిరి. పార్వతి ఏడ్చుటచే దేవపత్నులు కూడ మూర్ఛను పొందిరి (4).
స్త్రీలందరు ఏడ్చుచుండురి. సర్వము జడమాయెనా యున్నట్లుండెను. యోగీశ్వరుడగు శివుడే వెళ్ల బోవుచూ స్వయముగా రోదించెను. ఆ పరప్రభుడు ధుఃఖించగా, ఇతరుల మాట చెప్పునది ఏమి గలదు? (5) ఇంతలో అచటకు హిమవంతుడు కుమారులందరితో, మంత్రులతో మరియు మహాబ్రాహ్మములతో గూడి వెంటనే విచ్చేసెను(6). ఆయన కుమార్తెను గుండెలకు హత్తుకొని, 'నీవు సర్వమును శూన్యముగా చేసి ఎచటకు వెళ్లుచున్నావు?' అని పలికి అనేక పర్యాయములు స్వయముగా మోహముచే రోదించెను (7). అపుడు జ్ఞానిశ్రేష్ఠుడగు పురోహితుడు బ్రాహ్మణులతో గూడి సుఖకరముగా అధ్యాత్య విద్యను దయతో వారందరికి బోధించెను (8).
మహామాయ యగు పార్వతి భక్తితో తల్లిని, తండ్రిని, గురువును నమస్కరించి లోకాచారముననుసరిస్తూ పరిపరి విధముల బిగ్గరగా రోదించెను (9). పార్వతి రోదించుట తోడనే స్త్రీలందరు రోదించ మొదలిడిరి. తల్లియగు మేన, చెల్లెళ్లు, సోదరులు మరియు తండ్రి ప్రేమచే రోదించరి (10).

Brahmā said:—
1. Thus instructing the goddess in the rites of a chaste lady, the brahmin lady told Menā while taking leave of her “Make arrangements for her journey”.
2. Saying “So be it” she became exasperated by her affection. Controlling herself a little she called Pārvatī to her when her agitation due to imminent separation became all the more unbearable.
3. Embracing her she cried loudly and frequently. Pārvatī too cried uttering piteous words.
4. The beloved of the mountain as well as her daughter became unconscious due to grief. The wives of the gods too fainted on hearing Pārvatī cry.
5. All the ladies cried. Everything became senseless. Who else, even the great lord, the leader of Yogins, cried at the time of departure.
6. In the meantime, Himavat came hurriedly along with his sons, ministers and brahmins.
7. Holding his dear daughter to his bosom and saying “Where are you going?” with frequent vague vacant glances, he cried due to his fascination.
8. Then the chief priest in the company of other brahmins enlightened everyone. The wise priest by his spiritual discourse was able to convince them easily.
9. With great devotion Pārvatī bowed to her parents and the preceptor. Following the worldly convention she cried aloud frequently.
10. When Pārvatī cried the ladies cried too, particularly the mother Menā, sisters and brothers.

అగ్ని పలికెను :
మొదటిది మహత్తు యొక్క సృష్టి అది బ్రహ్మ యొక్క సృష్టిగా తెలియదగినది. తన్మాత్రల సృష్టి రెండవది. అది భూత సర్గము (సృష్టి) అని చెప్పబడును.
మూడవ సృష్టి వైకారికము. అదియే ఐంద్రియికసృష్టి యని చెప్పబడుచున్నది. ఈ విధముగా బుద్ధి (మహత్తత్త్వము)తో ప్రారంభించిన సృష్టి ప్రాకృత సృష్టి
నాల్గవది ముఖ్యసర్గము. స్థావరములు ముఖ్మములని చెప్పబడుచున్నవి. తిర్యక్ర్సోతస్సు అని చెప్పబడిన సృష్టికి ''తైర్యగ్యోన్యము'' (తిర్యగ్జంతువుల సృష్టి) అని పేరు.
ఊర్ధ్వస్రోతస్సుల సృష్టి ఆరవిది ఆదియే దేవనర్గము పిమ్మట అర్వాక్ర్సోతసుల సృష్టి అది ఏడవదైన మానుష సర్గము
ఎనిమిదవ సర్గము అనుగ్రహ సరము. సాత్త్వికము, తామసము అని అది రెండు విధములు. ఈ చివరి ఐదును వైక్బత నర్గముల, మొదటి మూడును కృతసర్గములు,
ప్రాకృతసర్గములు మూడును, వైకృతసర్గములు ఐదును, తొమ్మిదవ దైన కౌమారసర్గము, బ్రహ్మ చేసిన తొమ్మిది సర్గములును జగత్తు యొక్క మూలకాణములు.
సృష్టి నిత్యము, నైమిత్తికము ప్రాకృతము అని రెండు విధములైనిదిగా కొందరిచే చెప్పబడినది. అవాంతర ప్రళయముచే నిత్యము జరుగునది నిత్యసర్గము, అది దైనందిన సర్గము ప్రతి దినము నందును జరుగు సర్గము గాన ఇది నిత్యము.
భృగువు మొదలైనవారు ఖ్యాతి మొదలగు దక్ష కన్యలను వివాహ మాడిరి. ఖ్యాతి భృగువు వలన ధాత, విధాత అను దేవతలను లక్ష్మిని కనెను. విష్ణుపత్నియైన ఈ లక్ష్మినీ ఇంద్రుడు వృద్ధికొరకై స్తుతించెను.
ధాతకు ప్రాణుడు, విధాతకు మృకండుడు అను పుత్రుడు జనించిరి. మృకండునకు మార్కండేయుడును. ఆతనికి వేదశిదస్సు జనించిరి. అంగిరసుని వలన స్మృతియందు సినీవాలి, కుహ, రాక, అనుమతి అను కుమార్తెలు పుట్టిరి. అనసూయ అత్రి వలన సోముని, దుర్వాసుని, యోగియైన దత్తాత్రేయుని కనెను. (12)

*🌻 Primary creation - 1 🌻*
Agni said:
1. The intellect (mahat) is the first creation of Brahmā. The second (creation) is that of the subtle principles (tanmātrās),[1] known as the bhūtasarga (creation of elements).
2. The third is the creation of evolutes (vaikārikas) known as the sense-organs. These are the primary creation (prākṛtasarga) produced out of the intellect.
3. The fourth, is the main creation (mukhyasarga). The immobile things are known as the main (creation). That (creation) which is spoken as (the creation of) the lower order (tiryaksrotas) is known as that of the sub-human beings (animals, birds etc.).
4. Then the sixth creation is that of the higher orders (ūrdhvasrotas), known as the creation of the celestials. Then the seventh creation is that of the middle orders (arvāksrotas), the man.
5-6. The eighth is the creation (known as) the anugraha (compassionate divinities), composed of the qualities (sāttvika and tāmasa. These (latter) five are known as the Vaikṛtasarga (creation subject to transformation). The ninth creation is the Kau-māra (the creation of Sanatkmāra etc.) These are the nine creations[2] of Brahmā which are the main cause for the universe.
7-8. Bhṛgu and others married Khyāti and other daughters of Dakṣa. Creation has been described as three-fold by the people. They are usual (nitya), subject to some cause (naimittika), (and) daily (dainandinī).[3] (The creation) after the intermediate dissolution is known as the daily (dainandinī). The constant creation that takes place everyday is considered as nitya.
9. From Bhṛgu, Khyāti gave birth to the celestials Dhātṛ and Vidhātṛ. Śrī (Lakṣmī) (was) the consort of Viṣṇu, and was praised by Śakra (Indra) for multiplying the progeny.
10. The sons of Dhātṛ and Vidhātṛ were Prāṇa and Mṛkaṇḍuka successively. Vedaśirā gave birth to Mārkaṇḍeya from Mṛkaṇḍu.
11-12. A son (by name) Paurṇamāsa was born to Marīci through Sambhūti. Sinīvālī, Kuhū, Rākā and Anumati were the sons of Aṅgiras through Smṛti. With Atri, Anasūyā gave birth to Soma, Durvāsas, and Dattātreya yogin.

*There is no division between the world and spirituality. But a division arises because of the phenomenon of guilt. So guilt has to be dropped. Not that you have to bring spirituality and the world together; they are together. There is no way to separate them. You have to understand your guilt and drop it, otherwise guilt always creates schizophrenia. If guilt goes very deep, it can create a real split. A person can really become two--so much so that one may not be aware of the other at all. The split can become so great that the two aspects never meet; there is no encounter.*
*You have to understand your guilt. Just move as naturally as possible and don't categorize something as "spiritual" and something else as "worldly." The very categorization is wrong, because then division starts. Once you label something as spiritual, suddenly you have condemned the world. When you say something is worldly, the division has come in. There is no need. You don't divide when you see the moon in the night and you enjoy it, and then one day you see a child smiling and you enjoy that. Which is spiritual-and which is material? You see a flower opening and something opens in you and you delight in it. The food is being cooked and it smells delicious, and suddenly there is joy in it. Which is spiritual and which is worldly?*

*🌻 374 -2. 'కృతజ్ఞా'🌻*
*శ్రీమాత కూడ శివుని ఇచ్ఛ వలనే తాను గెలుచు చున్నట్లు తెలిసి సంతసించెడిదట. శివుడి ఆజ్ఞ లేనిదే శ్రీమాత ఎట్లు గెలువగలదు? ఇట్లు శ్రీమాత కృతజ్ఞా భావమును కవులు ప్రశంసించు చుందురు. 'కృతజ్ఞ' అనగా జరిగిన మేలు మరువకుండుట అని కూడ అర్థము కలదు. మేలు జరిగినపుడు మేలు చేసినవారిని కృతజ్ఞ. భావముతో హృదయమున ప్రశంసించినచో శ్రీమాత అనుగ్రహించును. శ్రీరాము డట్టివాడు. చిన్న ఉపకారము తనకెవ్వరైన చేసినచో దానిని మిక్కిలి ప్రశంసించెడివాడు. అట్లు ప్రశంసించుట రాముని కల్యాణ గుణములలో ప్రథమమైనది.*
*గుహుడు, జటాయువు, శబరి, విభీషణుడు, సుగ్రీవుడు మొదలగు వారందరి యెడల రాముని కృతజ్ఞతా భావము నిరుపమానము. సాటిలేనిది. ఇట్టి కృతజ్ఞతాభావ రూపమున శ్రీమాతయే రాముని నుండి వారందరికి చల్లని స్పర్శ నిచ్చెడిది. 'కృతజ్ఞ' అనగా కృత యుగమందలి జ్ఞానమని కూడ అర్థమున్నది. కృతయుగ మందు జ్ఞానము పరిపూర్ణముగ యుండెడిది. ధర్మము నాలుగు పాదముల నడిచెడిది. పరిపూర్ణ జ్ఞాను లగుటచే జీవులు పూర్వ జన్మములను కూడ ఎఱిగి యుండెడివారు.*

*Cāndogya Upaniṣahad (IV.iii.8) says, Prāṇa, speech, the eyes, the ears and the mind – these five represent our physical self (ādhyātimka). Air, fire, sun, moon and water represent Nature (ādhidaivika) that surround us. The ten together are to the dice throw called kṛta.*
