🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
*ఓ అర్జునా! దేవదేవుడైన నేను గతములో జరిగిన సమస్తమును, ప్రస్తుతము జరుగుచుచున్న సర్వమును, భవిష్యత్తులో జరుగనున్న వానినన్నింటిని ఎరుగుదును. అలాగుననే జీవులందరిని నేను ఎరుగుదురు. కాని నన్నెవ్వరును ఎరుగరు.*
🌷. భాష్యము :
సాకార, నిరాకారతత్త్వములకు సంబంధించిన వివాదము ఇచ్చట స్పష్టముగా విశదీకరింపబడినది. మాయావాదులు తలచురీతిగా శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని రూపము మాయ (భౌతికము) అయినచో, సాధారణజీవుల వలె అతడును దేహమును మార్చును గడచిన జన్మను మరచిపోవలెను. దేహదారులెవ్వరును గడచిన జన్మను గుర్తుంచుకొనుట, రాబోవు జన్మమును గూర్చి భవిష్యత్తు పలుకుట లేక ప్రస్తుతజన్మము యొక్క ఫలితమును ఊహించుట చేయలేరు. కనుకనే వారు భూత, భవిష్యత్, వర్తమానములును తెలియరని తీర్మానింపవచ్చును. భౌతికసంపర్కము నుండి ముక్తిని పొందనిదే ఎవ్వరును భూత, భవిష్యత్, వర్తమానములను ఎరుగజాలరు.
సాధారణ మావవునకి భిన్నముగా శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు ఇచ్చట తాను భూతకాలమున గడచిన సర్వమును, వర్తమానమున జరుగుచున్న సమస్తమును, భవిష్యత్తులో జరుగనున్న వానినన్నింటిని సంపూర్ణముగా తెలియుదనిని స్పష్టముగా పలికియున్నాడు. లక్షలాది సంవత్సరముల క్రిందట సూర్యదేవుడైన వివస్వానునకు జ్ఞానోపదేశము చేసిన విషయమును శ్రీకృష్ణుడు జ్ఞప్తి యందుంచుకొనినట్లు మనము భగవద్గీత యొక్క చతుర్థాధ్యాయమున గాంచియున్నాము. సర్వజీవహృదయములలో పరమాత్మ రూపున నిలిచియున్నందున అతడు సర్వజీవులను సైతము ఎరిగియున్నాడు. కాని శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ఆ విధముగా సర్వజీవుల యందు పరమాత్మగా నిలిచియున్నను మరియు దేవదేవునిగా స్థితుడై యున్నను అల్పజ్ఞులైనవారు (నిరాకారబ్రహ్మానుభూతిని బడయగలిగినప్పటికిని) అతనిని పరమపురుషునిగా ఎరుగుజాలకున్నారు. నిక్కముగా శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని దేహము అవ్యయమైనది మరియు నశ్వరము కానిది. అతడు సూర్యుడైనచో మాయ మేఘము వంటిది.
భౌతికజగత్తులోని సూర్యుడు, చంద్రుడు, నక్షత్రాదులు కలిగిన ఆకాశమును ఒక్కక్కమారు మేఘములు తాత్కాలికముగా కప్పివేసినను వాస్తవమునకు అది మన దృష్టిని కప్పివేయుటయే యగును. ఏలయన సూర్యచంద్రాదులు వాస్తవమునకు కప్పబడరు. అలాగుననే మాయ సైతము శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని కప్పలేదు. అతడే తన అంతరంగశక్తిచే అల్పజ్ఞులైనవారికి గోచరించక యుండును.

🌷 Translation :
*O Arjuna, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities; but Me no one knows.*
🌹 Purport :
Here the question of personality and impersonality is clearly stated. If Kṛṣṇa, the form of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, were māyā, material, as the impersonalists consider Him to be, then like the living entity He would change His body and forget everything about His past life. Anyone with a material body cannot remember his past life, nor can he foretell his future life, nor can he predict the outcome of his present life; therefore he cannot know what is happening in past, present and future. Unless one is liberated from material contamination, he cannot know past, present and future.
Unlike the ordinary human being, Lord Kṛṣṇa clearly says that He completely knows what happened in the past, what is happening in the present, and what will happen in the future. In the Fourth Chapter we have seen that Lord Kṛṣṇa remembers instructing Vivasvān, the sun-god, millions of years ago. Kṛṣṇa knows every living entity because He is situated in every living being’s heart as the Supersoul.

పిమ్మట పూర్వాది దిక్కలందు ఋగ్వేదాది వేదచతుష్టయమును పూజించి, అధారశక్తిని, అనంతుని, పృథివిని, యోగపీఠమును పద్మమును, సూర్యమండలమును, చంద్రమండలమును, బ్రహ్మాత్మక వహ్నిమండలమును పూజించి, ద్వాదశాక్షరిచే అసనముపై శిలాస్థాపనముచేసి పూజింపవలెను.
పిదప మూల మంత్రమును విభజించియు, సంపూర్ణ మంత్రముచేతను క్రమపూర్వకముగా పూజింపవలెను. పిదప ప్రణవముచే పూజించి మూడు ముద్రలు చూపవలెను. నిష్వక్సేన - చక్ర- క్షేత్రపాలుల ముద్రలు చూపవలెను.
ఇంతవరకును చెప్పినది శాలగ్రామ మధ్యమ పూజ.
ఇంతవరకును చెప్పినది శాలగ్రామ మధ్యమ పూజ. ఇపుడు నిష్పలపూజ చెప్పబడుచున్నది. వెనుకటి వలెనే షోడశదలకమలముతో కూడిన మండలము చేయవలెను. దానిపై శంఖ-చక్ర-గదా-ఖడ్గములను, గురువు మొదలగువారిని వెనుక చెప్పినట్లుగనే పూజింపవలెను. పూర్వోత్తర దిశలయందు వరుసగా ధనుర్బాణములను పూజింపవలెను. ప్రణవముచే అసనము సమర్పించి, ద్వాదశాక్షరిచే శిలాన్యాసము చేయవలెను. ఇపుడు మూడవదైన కనిష్ఠ పూజను (సఫలపూజన) చెప్పుచున్నాను, వినుము. అష్టదల కమలముపై వెనుకటివలె గుర్వాదిపూజ చేయవలెను. పిదప అష్టాక్షర మంత్రముచే అసనము సమర్సించి, ఆ మంత్రముచేతను, శిలను స్థాపించవలెను.
అగ్ని మహాపురాణమునందు శాలగ్రామ పూజాకథనమను నలుబది ఏడవ అధ్యాయము సమాప్తము.

*🌻Mode of worshipping Śālagrāma - 2 🌻*
7. The Vedas, Ṛgveda etc. (should be worshipped) in the east etc. (The serpent) Ananta (which is) the support of the earth, the seat of worship, the lotus, the three orbs—sun, moon and fires (should be worshipped).
8. The seat (should consist) of twelve letters[2] (forming the mystic formula of the God). Having placed (the God) there, the stone should be worshipped with the individual syllables and the whole of the sacred syllable in order.
9-10. Then one should worship with the vedic sacred syllables accomplished by the syllables such as the gāyatrī, etc. and praṇava on the east and other directions. Then the three mudrās of the Viṣvaksena (Viṣṇu), the disc and the Kṣetrapāla should be shown. This is the first variety of the worship of śālagrāma. Then I shall describe the one with no merits.
11. One should draw a circle as before with sixteen radii and with a lotus. One should then worship the preceptor and others with a conch, disc, mace and sword.
12. The bow and the arrows (should be placed) in the east and the north. The seat should be placed with the vedic (syllables). The stone should be placed with the (sacred) twelve syllables[3] of the lord. Listen to the third variety of worship.
13. One should draw a lotus having eight radii and worship the preceptor and others as before. Having offered the seat with the eight sacred letters[4] one should place the stone with the same (formula). One should worship ten times with that (formula). It is then accomplished by gāyatrī etc.

*The form of the world is the projection of the objective force of the Universal Consciousness or the World-Mind. Everything in the world is a network of unintelligible relations. Things are not perceived by all in the same fashion. The perceptions of a chair by many individuals are not of the same category of consciousness.*
*They differ in the contents of their ideas which are the effects of the particular modes of the tendency to objectification potentially existent in the individuals. The forces of distraction which constitute the individual consciousness are not of the same quality in everyone. There is a difference among individuals in their perception and thinking. It is impossible to have a knowledge of anything that does not become a content of one’s own consciousness.*

*As in the case of Shiva, Śaktī also does not associate Herself in any of these activities, though She is in full command of all the activities that unfold in the universe. When there is a union (sandhāna) of all these śaktis, the universe appears as dissolved (saṁhāraḥ). When the union of different types of consciousness takes place, there emerges a single consciousness, which is called Bhairava.*
*When a yogi meditates this way, he is able to transcend time and space and become one with Bhairava. This is the consciousness where all the thirty six tattvas are incinerated in the fire of supreme consciousness that burns within.*
