🌷. భాష్యము :
*“బుద్ధియోగమ్” అను పదము ఈ శ్లోకమునందు ముఖ్యమైనది. ద్వితీయాధ్యాయమున శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు అర్జునునకు ఉపదేశమొసగుచు తాను అనేక విషయములను చర్చించితిననియు మరియు ఇకపై బుద్ధియోగము ద్వారా కొన్ని విషయములు తెలుపనున్నట్లుయు పలికియున్న విషయమును మనమిచ్చట జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనవలెను. అట్టి బుద్ధియోగమే ఇచ్చట పేర్కొనబడినది. బుద్ధియోగమనగా కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావనలో కర్మనొనర్చుట యనియే భావము. అదియే అత్యుత్తమబుద్ధి మరియు జ్ఞానము అనబడును. బుద్ధి యనగా తెలివి మరియు యోగమనగా యోగకర్మలు. భగవద్దామమునకు చేరగోరి మనుజుడు కృష్ణభక్తిభావనలో భక్తియుక్తసేవయందు నిలిచినచో అతని కర్మలు బుద్ధియోగమనబడును. అనగా బుద్ధియోగము ద్వారా మనుజుడు భౌతికజగత్తు బంధముల నుండి సులభముగా విడివడగలడు. పురోగతి యనుదాని చరమప్రయోజనము శ్రీకృష్ణుడే. కాని జనసామాన్యము ఈ విషయము నెరుగరు. కనుకనే గురువు మరియు భక్తుల సాంగత్యము అత్యంత ముఖ్యమై యున్నది. కనుక ప్రతియొక్కరు శ్రీకృష్ణుడే పరమగమ్యమని తెలిసికొనవలసియున్నది. ఆ విధముగా గమ్యమును నిర్ణయించి, నెమ్మదిగా అయినప్పటికిని క్రమముగా ప్రయాణించినచో అంతిమలక్ష్యము ప్రాప్తించగలదు.*
*మానవుడు జీవితలక్ష్యము నెరిగియు తన కర్మ ఫలముల యెడ అనురక్తిని కలిగియున్నచో అతడు కర్మయోగమునందు వర్తించినవాడగును. అదే విధముగా మానవుడు కృష్ణుడే గమ్యమని తెలిసియు, కృష్ణుని అవగతము చేసికొనుటకు మానసికకల్పనలను ఆశ్రయించినచో జ్ఞానయోగమునందు వర్తించినవాడగును. ఇక మానవుడు తన గమ్యమును సంపూర్ణముగా నెరిగి కృష్ణభక్తిభావన యందు భక్తియోగము ద్వారా శ్రీకృష్ణుని పొందగోరినపుడు భక్తియోగమునందు లేదా బుద్ధియోగమునందు వర్తించినవాడగును. వాస్తవమునకు ఈ బుద్ధియోగమే సంపూర్ణము మరియు సమగ్రమైన యోగమై యున్నది. ఇదియే మానవజన్మ యొక్క అత్యున్నత పరిపూర్ణస్థితి. మనుజుడు ఆధ్యాత్మిక గురువును పొందినను మరియు ఏదేని ఒక ఆధ్యాత్మికసంఘముతో సంబంధమును కలిగయున్నను ఒకవేళ ఆధ్యాత్మికముగా పురోభివృద్ధిని పొందలేకపోయినచో ఎటువంటి కష్టము లేకుండా అతడు అంత్యమున తనను చేరురీతిలో శ్రీకృష్ణుడే అతనికి అంతర్యమున ఉపదేశములొసగును.*

🌷 Translation :
*To those who are constantly devoted to serving Me with love, I give the understanding by which they can come to Me.*
🌹 Purport :
*In this verse the word buddhi-yogam is very significant. We may remember that in the Second Chapter the Lord, instructing Arjuna, said that He had spoken to him of many things and that He would instruct him in the way of buddhi-yoga. Now buddhi-yoga is explained. Buddhi-yoga itself is action in Kṛṣṇa consciousness; that is the highest intelligence. Buddhi means intelligence, and yoga means mystic activities or mystic elevation. When one tries to go back home, back to Godhead, and takes fully to Kṛṣṇa consciousness in devotional service, his action is called buddhi-yoga. In other words, buddhi-yoga is the process by which one gets out of the entanglement of this material world. The ultimate goal of progress is Kṛṣṇa. People do not know this; therefore the association of devotees and a bona fide spiritual master are important.*
*One should know that the goal is Kṛṣṇa, and when the goal is assigned, then the path is slowly but progressively traversed, and the ultimate goal is achieved. When a person knows the goal of life but is addicted to the fruits of activities, he is acting in karma-yoga. When he knows that the goal is Kṛṣṇa but he takes pleasure in mental speculations to understand Kṛṣṇa, he is acting in jñāna-yoga. And when he knows the goal and seeks Kṛṣṇa completely in Kṛṣṇa consciousness and devotional service, he is acting in bhakti-yoga, or buddhi-yoga, which is the complete yoga. This complete yoga is the highest perfectional stage of life.*

*హయగ్రీవుడు పలికెను. ఇప్పుడు ఉత్సవ విధిని చెప్పెదను. ఉత్సవము లేని దేవతాప్రతిష్ఠ నిష్ఫలము, అందుచే దేవతాస్థాపనము చేసిన సంవత్సరమునందే ఏక రాత్రోత్సవము లేదా త్రిరాత్రోత్సవము లేదా అష్ఠరాత్రోత్సవము చేయవలెను. అయనసమయమునందు గాని, విషువసంక్రాంతి సమయమునందు గాని శయనోపవనమునందు లేదా దేవతా గృహమునందు లేదా కర్తకు అనుకూలముగా ఉన్న విధమున దేవుని నగరయాత్ర చేయించవలెను. ఆ సమయమున మంగలాంకురారోపణము, నృత్యగీతాదులు, వాద్యములు ఏర్పాటు చేయవలెను. అంకురారోపణమునకు మూకుళ్ళు ఉత్తమమైనవి. యవ - శాలిజ - తిల - ముద్గగోధూమ - శ్వేతసర్షప - కులత్థ - మాష - నిష్పావములు కడిగి చల్లవలెను.*
*దీపములతో రాత్రి ఊరేగుచు ఇంద్రాదిదిక్పాలులకు, కుముదాది దిగ్గజములకు, సకల ప్రాణులకు పూర్వాదిదిక్కులందు బలి ప్రదానము చేయవలెను. దేవతా విగ్రహమును మోయుచు దేవయాత్రను అనుసరించు వారికి అడుగడుగునకు అశ్వమేధ యాగము చేసిన ఫలము లభించును, కొంచెమైనను సందేహము లేదు. ఆచార్యుడు తొలుచటి దివసమున దేవాలయమునకు వచ్చి దేవునితో - ''దేవశ్రేష్ఠా! రేపు నీ తీర్థ యాత్ర జరుపవలసి యున్నది. అందుకు అనుజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుటకై నీవు సర్వదా సమర్ధుడవు అని నివేదించి ఉత్సవకార్యము ప్రారంభింపవలెను. నాలుగు స్తంభములు గలదియు అంకురములున్న ఘటముతో కూడినదియు అలంకరింపబడినదియు అగు వేదిక దగ్గరకు వెళ్ళి దాని మధ్య భాగమున స్వస్తికము ప్రతిమనుంచి, తన కోరికను వ్రాసి చిత్రములపై స్థాపించి అధివాసము చేయవలెను.*

*Chapter 68*
*🌻Mode of taking out a procession and celebration of festivals -1 🌻*
The Lord said:
1. I shall describe the celebration of festival after the image has been installed. It shall be for a night, or three or five nights.
2-3. Without the festival the installation would become fruitless. The festival for the deity [i.e., utsava] should be celebrated when the sun enters the solstitial or the equinoctial points in the bedchamber or garden or it may be done in favour of the person at whose instance the ceremony is performed with the sowing of auspicious seeds and the notes of sacred music.
4-5. An earthen vessel, a small water pot or an embankment are suitable for the sowing of seeds. Grains of barley, uncultivated rice, sesamum, green gram, wheat, white mustard, horsegram, and black gram should be winnowed, washed and sown. Offerings should be made in the east and other directions. Lighted lamps should be carried round the edifice in the night.
6. (Offering should be made) to Indra, Kumuda and other -deities and spirits. They visit the place assuming shapes of men.
7. (One who carries such lamps) certainly gets the merit of (doing) aśvamedha (horse sacrifice) for every step he places. The priest should submit to the lord (as follows) after his return.
8. “O Lord! best among the Gods! you have to be taken in a procession tomorrow [i.e., tīrtha-yātrā]. By all means you deserve to permit us O Lord! to commence the same.
9. Having informed the lord in this way the festivities should be undertaken. The platform should be decorated with young shoots of plants and small water-jar.
10-11. Four pillars (should be erected). The image should be placed in a svastika (figure) (drawn) in their midst. Or desired objects should be painted and placed there and the act of making the deity present in the image should be done with the vaiṣṇava mantra. (The image) should be anointed with ghee with (the recitation of) the principal (mantra). Or the wise man should arrange an incessant flow of ghee over the image the whole night.

*ప్రతి జీవం యొక్క మూలం విశ్వం లోని ఇతర జీవుల ఉనికి యొక్క మూలాలతో సంప్రదించడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తుంది. ఈ విధంగా ప్రతి జీవి , ఇతర జీవుల ఉనికిలో మమేకమవ్వడానికి చేసే ప్రయత్నమే ఆధ్యాత్మిక సంకల్పానికి నాంది. ఆధ్యాత్మిక ప్రేరణ కాకపోతే గురుత్వాకర్షణ అంటే ఏమిటి? ఆధ్యాత్మికం కాకపోతే భూమిని సూర్యుని చుట్టూ తిప్పే ఈ శక్తి ఏమిటి? గురుత్వాకర్షణ శక్తి ఆధ్యాత్మికంగా ఎలా ఉంటుందో మనం ఆశ్చర్యపోవచ్చు, ఎందుకంటే ఇది భౌతిక వి మాత్రమే తెలుసు.*
*కానీ, అదంతా కేవలం రకరకాల పేర్లు వల్ల వచ్చిన ప్రశ్నలు. మనం దానిని భౌతికంగా, మానసికంగా, సామాజికంగా, నైతికంగా, నైతికంగా లేదా ఆధ్యాత్మికంగా పిలుస్తాము. విషయం ఏమిటంటే, ఇది ముఖ్యంగా ఏమిటి? నైతిక శక్తి యొక్క ఆకర్షణ, మానసిక విషయాల యొక్క ఆకర్షణ, ప్రేమ మరియు ఆప్యాయత యొక్క ఆకర్షణ వంటి ఏదైనా ఆకర్షణలు ఎందుకు ఉన్నాయి? ఒక వస్తువును మరొకదాని వైపుకు లాగడం ఏమిటి? ఏదైనా ఏదో ఒక కేంద్రం వైపు ఎందుకు ఆకర్షింపబడాలి? ఈ ఆకర్షణ వెనుక ఉద్దేశం ఏమిటి, మరియు రహస్యం ఏమిటి?*

*There is a struggle of every individual structure or pattern to communicate itself with other such centres of force, and it is this tendency within the individual patterns or structures to melt into the being of others that is the beginning of all spiritual aspiration. What is gravitation if not a spiritual urge? What is this force that pulls the Earth round the Sun if it is not spiritual? We may wonder how the force of gravitation can be spiritual, because it is known to be a physical phenomenon.*
*But, it is all a question of nomenclature. We may call it physical, psychological, social, ethical, moral, or spiritual, as we like. The point is, what is it essentially? Why is there any pull at all—the pull of moral force, the pull of psychic contents, the pull of love and affection? What is it that pulls one thing towards another? Why is it that anything should gravitate towards some centre? What is the intention, what is the purpose, what is the motive and what is the secret behind this urge?*

*నీ హృదయం పాడనీ, ఆడనీ, పరవశించనీ మనసు నించీ కుక్కలు మొరగనీ. అది సహేతుకం కాదని అరచి గీపెట్టనీ. లెక్కపెట్టకు. అది లోపలి కవిత్వాన్ని ఖండిస్తుంది. లోపలి ప్రేమని ఖండిస్తుంది. నిన్ను హృదయం నించి లాగెయ్యడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తుంది. దాని మాట వినకు. ఆడు, పాడు, ఆనందించు. అట్లా చేస్తూ వుంటే మనసు ఒకరోజు ఆశ్చర్యపోతుంది. కుక్కలు మొరగడం ఆపుతాయి. కుక్కలు అదృశ్యమవుతాయి. అది గొప్ప ఆశీర్వాదం అందిన రోజు. పూలు నీపై వర్షించిన రోజు. అస్తిత్వం అన్ని రకాలయిన ఆనందాల్ని నీ మీద వర్షిస్తుంది. నువ్వు సంపూర్ణతతో సంధానం చెందుతావు. అనంతంతో నీకు అనుబంధ మేర్పడుతుంది. నువ్వు రుషివవుతావు. అది నీకు అంతర్నేత్రాన్నిస్తుంది.*

*In Spiritual Path, If the basics are not understood properly, it leads the aspirant nowhere. He gets stuck at the same level and unable to proceed further. Because of the lack of progression he becomes frustrated and decides to deviate from spiritual path, thereby losing a great opportunity to attain liberation. That is why the need of a guru is emphasised. If the guru is a Self-realised person, he will take his disciple through the correct path to realise the Ultimate Reality. It can also be said that Śaktī, through whose grace Śiva is realised, manifests in the form of a guru. This interpretation confirms two things.*
