నారదుడు చెప్పెను : భద్రమండలము మధ్య నున్న కమలమున అంగదేవతా సహిత బ్రహ్మను పూజింపవలెను. తూర్పున నున్న కమలమున పద్మనాభుని, ఆగ్నేయమున నుద్న కమలమున ప్రకృతిని, దక్షిణమున నున్న కమలమున పురుషుని దక్షిణభాగమున అగ్నిదేవతను, నైరృతి దిక్కున నిరృతిని, పశ్చిమదిక్కున నున్న కమలమున వరుణుని, వాయవ్య దిక్కునం దున్న కమలమున వాయువును, ఉత్తర దిక్కునందున్న కమలమున ఆదిత్యుని, ఈశాన్య దిక్కునందున్న కమలమున బుగ్వేదయజుర్వేదములను పూజింపవలెను.
రెండవ ఆవరణమునందు ఇంద్రాది దిక్పాలకులను, షోడశదలకమలమున క్రమముగా సామవేద, అథర్వవేద, ఆకాశ, వాయు, తేజో, జల, పృథివీ, మనః, శ్రోత్ర, త్వక్‌, నేత్ర, రసనా, ఘ్రాణ, భూర్లోక, భువర్లోకములను పూజింపవలెను.
పిమ్మట తృతీయవరణము నందలి, ఇరువదినాలుగు దళముల కమలమున క్రమముగ మహర్లోక, జనలోక, తపోలోక, సత్యలోక, అగ్నిష్టోమ, అత్యగ్నిష్ణోమ, ఉక్థ, షోడశీ, వాజపేయ, అతిరాత్ర, ఆప్తోర్యామ, వ్యష్టిమనో, వ్యష్టిబుద్ధి, వ్యష్ట్యహంకార, శబ్ద, స్పర్శ, రూప, రస, గంధ, జీవ, సమస్టిమనః, సమష్టిబుద్ధి (మహత్తత్వ), సమష్ట్యహంకార, ప్రకృతులను పూజింపవలెను.
వీటి అన్నింటియొక్క స్వరూపము శబ్దమాత్రమే. అనగా కేవలము వీటి పేరులు చెప్పి నమస్కరించిన చాలును; మూర్తులను ధ్యానింపవసరము లేదు.
ఇరువదియైదవ అధ్యాయములో చెప్పిన వాసుదేవాదిమూర్తులను తొమ్మిందింటిని, దశవిధప్రాణములను, మనో, బుద్ధ్య, హంకార, పాయు, ఉపస్థలను, శ్రోత్ర, త్వక్‌, నేత్ర, రసనా, ఘ్రాణ, వాక్‌, పాణి, పాదములను, ఈ ముప్పదిరెండింటిని, ముప్పదిరెండు దళముల కమలమున ఆర్చన చేయవలెను. ఇవి నాల్గవ అవరణమునందలి దేతవలు. ఈ ఆవరణమున సాంగసపరివార దేవతాపూజ చేయవలెను.

*🌻 Mode of worship of different gods in specially drawn lotus figures - 1 🌻*
Nārada said:
1. One has to worship Brahmā in the lotus at the centre, the lotus-navelled (Viṣṇu) with all his retinue in the east, the nature (primordial matter) in the lotus in the south-east and the supreme spirit in the lotus in the south.
2. (One has to worship) the fire-god (in the lotus) at the south of the supreme spirit, the wind-god in the south-west and west, the sun in the lotus of the moon, the Ṛg-(Veda)and Yajur-(Veda) in the lotus of the lord.
3-4. Indra and other gods are to be worshipped in the sixteen (lotuses) in the second (row) then, (along with) the Sāma-(veda), Atharva (veda), sky, wind, lustre, water, earth, mind, ear, skin, (and) eye. One should also worship the tongue, nose, (the worlds) Bhū, (and) Bhuva.
5-7. Having worshipped (the worlds) Mahas, Janas, Tapas (and) Satya and (also the sacrifices) Agniṣṭoma, Atyagniṣṭoma, Uktha, Ṣoḍaṣī, Vājapeya, Atirātra, one has to worship Aptoryāma, mind, intellect, ego, sound, touch, colour, taste, (and) smell in order in twenty-four lotuses. (One has to worship) the soul, ego, the lord of the mind, (and) the sound principle of the primordial matter.
8-9. (One should then worship) the images of Vāsudeva and others, having worshipped the (following) ten—the soul, mind, ear, skin, eye, tongue, nose, speech, hand, (and) foot in thirty-two lotuses. One has to worship these in the fourth enclosure along with their attendants and retinue.

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -
అపుడచట ఆ గంగా పుత్రుడు తన యందు భక్తిని కలిగించే ఒక చక్కని లీలను ప్రదర్శించెను. ఓ నారదా! ఆ లీలను ప్రీతితో వినుము(1). అదే సమయములో అచటకు యజ్ఞమును చేసిన శోభాయుక్తుడగు నారదుడనే ఒక బ్రాహ్మణుడు గుహుని శరణు పొందుటకు వచ్చెను (2). ప్రసన్నమగు మనస్సు గల ఆ బ్రాహ్మణుడు కార్తికుని సమీపమునకు వచ్చి శుభస్తోత్రములతో ప్రణమిల్లి తన అభిప్రాయమును చెప్పెను (3).
బ్రాహ్మణుడిట్లు పలికెను -
ఓ స్వామీ! నా మాటను వినుము. నాకిపుడు కలిగిన కష్టమును తొలగించుము. బ్రహ్మాండములన్నింటికీ ప్రభువు నీవే. అందువలననే నిన్ను శరణు జొచ్చితిని (4). నేను వైదిక కర్మను చేయ నారంభించితిని. నా ఇంటి వద్ద నున్న మేక త్రాటిని తెంపుకొని పారిపోయినది(5).
అది ఎచటకు పోయినదో తెలియకున్నది. నేను చాలా వెదికితిని. కాని దొరకలేదు. దీనివలన నా క్రతువునకు పెద్ద ఆటంకము వాటిల్లినది(6). విభూ! నీవు ప్రభువై యుండగా యజ్ఞము భగ్నమగుట ఎట్లు సంభవము? ఓ అఖిలేశ్వరా! నీవు ఆలోచించి నా కోర్కెను పరిపూర్ణము చేయుము (7). ఓ శివపుత్రా! ప్రభూ! బ్రహ్మాండములన్నింటికీ ప్రభుడు, దేవతలందరిచే సేవింపబడువాడు అగు నిన్ను విడిచి నేను ఎవరిని శరణు పొందగలను?(8)
నీవు దీనబంధుడవు. దయాసముద్రుడవు. సేవింపదగిన వాడవు. భక్తుల యందు ప్రేమ గలవాడవు. విష్ణుబ్రహ్మాది దేవతలచే స్తుతింపబడే పరమేశ్వరుడవు (9). పార్వతీ తనయుడవగు స్కందుడవు. అద్వయుడవు. శత్రువులను తపింప జేయువాడవు. పరమాత్మవు. శరణు గోరు సత్పురుషుల ఆత్మను రక్షించు స్వామివి(10). దీనుల ప్రభువగు మహేశ్వరా! శవపుత్రా! ముల్లోకములకు తండ్రియగు ప్రభూ! మాయను వశము చేసుకున్న వాడా! నిన్ను శరణు పొందితిని .
విప్రులు నీకు ప్రియమైన వారు. నన్ను రక్షించుము. నీవు అందరికీ ప్రియుడగు ప్రభుడవు. నీవు సర్వజ్ఞుడవు. బ్రహ్మాది దేవతలు నిన్ను స్తుతించెదరు. మాయకు అధీశ్వరుడవగు నీవు మాయచే ఆకారమును దాల్చి, నీ భక్తులను రక్షించి సుఖముల నిచ్చుచున్నావు (11).

Brahmā said:—
1. There Kumāra showed a miraculous feat. O Nārada, listen to it that bestows devotion.
2. Then a certain brahmin Nārada came there, seeking refuge in Kumāra. He was glorious and had been performing a sacrifice.
3. Approaching Kumāra, bowing to and eulogising him with auspicious hymns the delighted brahmin related his tale.
The brahmin said:—
4. O lord, listen to my words. Relieve my distress. You are the lord of the universe. I seek refuge in you.
5. I began a goat sacrifice. The goat got loosened and strayed away from my house.
6. I do not know where it has gone. I have searched for it here and there but have not found it. Hence this will cause a serious default in my sacrifice.
7. While you are the lord, how can there be an obstacle to my sacrifice? O lord, after pondering over this matter please fulfil my task.
8. O lord, O son of Śiva, who else can I approach except you, who are worthy of being resorted to, who are the lord of the entire universe and are served by all the gods.
9-10. You are the kinsman of the distressed. You are worthy of being served well. You are favourably disposed to your devotees. You are the great lord eulogised by Viṣṇu, Brahmā and other gods. You are Skanda the delighter of Pārvatī, the sole destroyer of enemies, the great soul, the lord who bestows his own self upon the good seeking refuge in him.
11. O lord of the distressed, O great lord, O son of Śiva, O lord of the three worlds, O master of magical art, I have to seek refuge in you. O favourite of the brahmins, save me. You are the lord of all. You are eulogised by Brahmā and other gods who bow to you. You have assumed forms through magical art. You are the bestower of happiness to your devotees. You are eager to protect. You wield power of deluding others.

*ఎవరో రాత్‌స్‌చైల్డ్‌ని అడిగారు, 'నువ్వు ఇంత ధనవంతుడివి ఎలా అయ్యావు?' అతను సమాధానం చెప్పాడు, 'నేను ఎల్లప్పుడూ నా అవకాశం కోసం వేచి ఉంటాను, అది వచ్చినప్పుడు నేను దానిపైకి దూకాను.' ఆ వ్యక్తి ఇలా అన్నాడు, 'నేను కూడా ఎదురు చూస్తున్నాను అవకాశం కోసం. కానీ అది పోయినప్పుడు మాత్రమే తెలుస్తోంది! అవును, ఇది చాలా అరుదైన క్షణం. ఇది వస్తుంది. దానిని కోసం సిద్ధంగా లేకపోతే, అది తప్పి పోతుంది. *ఆకర్షణము ఎచ్చట నున్నదో అచ్చట శ్రీమాత యున్నదని తెలియవలెను. కాంతి రూపముతోనే అందరిని ఆకర్షించును. దుష్టులను మాయ చేయును. శిష్టులను అనుగ్రహించును. నిజముగ కాంతి మాయా రూపమే. సత్యమును మరుగు పరచగల కాంతి ఆమె. ఆమె కాంతి ఆవరణము నందే శివుడు సత్యమై యున్నాడు. సత్యమునకు ఆమె ప్రథమావరణ మగుటచే సత్యమును కూడ మరుగు పరచగల కాంతి రూపము శ్రీమాతది. ఆమె కాంతి ఆధారముగనే ఇచ్ఛా, జ్ఞాన, క్రియలు జీవుల కేర్పడి సృష్టి కార్యము నడచుచున్నది.*
