*🌷. తాత్పర్యం : నా ఈ ఘోర రూపమును చూచి నీవు కలత నొందిన వాడవు, భ్రాంతుడవు అయితివి. అదియంతయు నిపుడు అంతరించును గాక, ఓ భక్తుడా! అన్ని కలతల నుండియు విముక్తుడవై నీవు కోరిన రూపమును ప్రశాంత మనస్సుతో ఇప్పుడు గాంచుము.*
*🌷. భాష్యము : పూజనీయ పితామహుడైన భీష్ముని మరియు గురువైన ద్రోణుని వధించుటపట్ల అర్జునుడు ఆది యందు వ్యథ నొందెను. కాని పితామహుని వధించుట యందు అట్టి వెరుగు అవసరము లేదని శ్రీకృష్ణుడు అతనికి ఉపదేశించెను. ధృతరాష్ట్ర తనయులు ద్రౌపదని కౌరవసభలో వివస్త్రను చేయ యత్నించినపుడు ఆ భీష్మ, ద్రోణులు మౌనము వహించిరి. ధర్మనిర్వహణలో అట్టి నిర్లక్ష్యకారణముగా వారు వాధార్హులు. వారు అధర్మయుత కర్మ వలన వారు ఇదివరకే సంహరింపబడిరని తెలియజేయుటకే అర్జునునకు శ్రీకృష్ణుడు విశ్వరూపమును చూపెను.*
*సాధారణముగా భక్తులు శాంతులును మరియు అట్టి ఘోరకార్యములను నొనరింప లేని వారును అయి యుందురు కావున అర్జునునకు విశ్వరూపము చూపబడినది. విశ్వరూప ప్రదర్శన ప్రయోజనము సిద్ధించియున్నందున అర్జునుడు చతుర్భుజ రూపమును గాంచగోరగా, శ్రీకృష్ణుడు దానిని అర్జునునకు చూపెను. ప్రేమభావముల పరస్పర వినిమయమునకు అవకాశమొసగనందున భగవానుని విశ్వరూపము నెడ భక్తుడు ఎక్కువగా ఆసక్తిని కలిగియుండడు. అతడు కేవలము దేవదేవునికి భక్తిపూర్వక నమస్సులు అర్పించవలెను గాని లేదా ద్విభుజ కృష్ణరూపమును గాంచవలెను గాని కోరును. తద్ద్వారా అతడు ఆ దేవదేవునితో ప్రేమయుక్తసేవలో భావవినిమయము కావింపగలడు.*

*vyapeta-bhīḥ prīta-manāḥ punas tvaṁ tad eva me rūpam idaṁ prapaśya*
*🌷 Translation : You have been perturbed and bewildered by seeing this horrible feature of Mine. Now let it be finished. My devotee, be free again from all disturbances. With a peaceful mind you can now see the form you desire.*
*🌹 Purport : In the beginning of Bhagavad-gītā Arjuna was worried about killing Bhīṣma and Droṇa, his worshipful grandfather and master. But Kṛṣṇa said that he need not be afraid of killing his grandfather. When the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra tried to disrobe Draupadī in the assembly of the Kurus, Bhīṣma and Droṇa were silent, and for such negligence of duty they should be killed. Kṛṣṇa showed His universal form to Arjuna just to show him that these people were already killed for their unlawful action. That scene was shown to Arjuna because devotees are always peaceful and they cannot perform such horrible actions.*
*The purpose of the revelation of the universal form was shown; now Arjuna wanted to see the four-armed form, and Kṛṣṇa showed him. A devotee is not much interested in the universal form, for it does not enable one to reciprocate loving feelings. Either a devotee wants to offer his respectful worshipful feelings, or he wants to see the two-handed Kṛṣṇa form so that he can reciprocate in loving service with the Supreme Personality of Godhead.*

*సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను- ఆ బ్రహ్మాది దేవతలు మహర్షులతో గూడి ఇట్లు స్తుతించి శివుని పాదములపై లగ్నమైన మనస్సులు గలవారై అపుడు మిన్నకుండిరి (32). అపుడు మహేశ్వరుడగు శంభుప్రభుడు పవిత్రమగు దేవతల స్తుతిని విని శ్రేష్ఠమగు వరములనిచ్చి వెంటనే అచటనే అంతర్హితుడాయెను (33). బ్రహ్మ మొదలగు దేవతలందరు కూడ శత్రువులు నశించుటచే ఆనందించిన వారై శివుని సత్కీర్తిని ప్రేమతో గానము చేయుచూ తమ తమ స్థానములకు వెళ్లిరి (34).*
*మహేశ్వరుడు జలంధరుని సంహరించుట అనే ఈ గొప్ప గాథ పవిత్రమైనది, మరియు మహాపాపములను నశింపచేయునది (35). ఈ పవిత్రమగు దేవతల స్తుతి పాపములనన్నిటినీ పోగొట్టి నిత్యము సర్వసుఖముల నిచ్చును. ఈ స్తుతి మహేశునకు ఆనందమును కలిగించును (36). ఈ రెండు గాథలను ఎవరు పఠించెదరో, లేదా పఠింపజేసెదరో వారు ఇహలోకములో గొప్ప సుఖమునను భవించి గణాధ్యక్షస్థానమును పొందెదరు (37).*
శ్రీ శివమహాపురాణములోని రుద్రసంహితయందు యుద్ధఖండములో దేవస్తుతి వర్ణనమనే ఇరువది అయిదవ అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (25).

32. After eulogising Brahmā, other gods and the great sages, the gods remained silent with their minds fixed on Śiva’s feet.
33. The great lord Śiva heard the auspicious prayer of the gods, conferred boons on them and then vanished immediately from the scene.
34. Brahmā and other gods were jubilant as the enemies had been killed. Delightfully singing the great glory of Śiva, they left for their own abodes.
35. This great narrative describing the suppression of Jalandhara is a sanctifying story of lord Śiva that destroys all sins.
36. This prayer of the gods is holy and destructive of sins. It bestows happiness on the devotees and is delightful to Śiva.
37. He who reads or teaches the two narratives, enjoys great happiness here and becomes the lord of Gaṇas hereafter.

*మీరు చేయగలిగే చిన్న చిన్న పనులు ఉన్నాయి - కలిసి కూర్చోవడం, చంద్రుడిని చూడటం, సంగీతం వినడం-ఏవీ నేరుగా ప్రేమ కాదు. ప్రేమ చాలా సున్నితమైనది. మీరు దానిని నేరుగా చూస్తే, అది అదృశ్యమవుతుంది. మీకు తెలియకుండా, వేరే పని చేస్తున్నప్పుడు మాత్రమే ఇది వస్తుంది. మీరు బాణంలా నేరుగా వెళ్ళలేరు. ప్రేమ లక్ష్యం కాదు. ఇది చాలా సూక్ష్మమైన దృగ్విషయం; చాలా బెరుకుగా ఉంటుంది. నేరుగా వెళ్తే దాక్కుంటుంది. నేరుగా ఏదైనా చేస్తే మిస్ అవుతారు. ప్రపంచం ప్రేమ విషయంలో చాలా మూర్ఖంగా మారింది. వారికి వెంటనే కావాలి. వారికి ఇది ఇన్‌స్టంట్ కాఫీ లాగా కావాలి-మీకు ఎప్పుడు కావాలంటే అప్పుడు ఆర్డర్ చేస్తే అది అక్కడ ఉండాలి. ప్రేమ ఒక సున్నితమైన కళ; మీరు చేయగలిగేది ఏమీ లేదు.*

If you look at it, gaze at it directly, it will disappear. It comes only when you are unaware, doing something else. You cannot go directly, arrowlike. Love is not a target. It is a very subtle phenomenon; it is very shy. If you go directly, it will hide. If you do something directly, you will miss it. The world has become very stupid about love. They want it immediately. They want it like instant coffee-whenever you want it, order it, and it is there. Love is a delicate art; it is nothing you can do.*

*నాలుగు ముఖములతో మనోజ్ఞముగ నుండునది శ్రీమాత అని అర్ధము. నాలుగు ముఖములనగా నాలుగు భూతములు అస్థిత్వముగా కలది అని అర్థము. అవి వరుసగా 1. ఆకాశము (విశుద్ధి), 2. వాయువు (అనాహతము), 3. అగ్ని (మణిపూరకము), 4. జలము (స్వాధిష్ఠానము). పంచభూతాత్మకమగు సృష్టిలో స్వాధిష్టానము చేరుసరికి నాలుగు భూతముల సృష్టి ఏర్పడును. ఐదవది అయిన పృథివి మూలాధారమున ఏర్పడును. అందువలన మూలాధార దేవత పంచవక్త్ర. స్వాధిష్ఠాన దేవత చతుర్వక్త్ర. మణిపూరక దేవత త్రివక్త్ర. అనాహత దేవత ద్వివక్త్ర (వదనద్వయ). విశుద్ధి దేవత ఏకవక్త్ర (ఏకవదన). ఇట్లు తెలియ నగును.*

Fire (Manipuraka), 4. Water (Svadhishthana). When Swadhishthana joins the creation that has five elements the creation of four elements takes place. The fifth element Prithivi is formed in the Mooladhara. Thus the diety at Mooladhara is Panchavaktra. Swadhishthana deity is Chaturvaktra. Manipuraka Goddess Trivaktra. Anahata Goddess Dvivaktra (two faced). Vishuddhi Goddess Ekavaktra (single faced). Thus it goes.*
