*bhakti-yogena tīvreṇa viraktyā ca nayed vaśam*
*It is the duty of every conditioned soul to engage his polluted consciousness, which is now attached to material enjoyment, in very serious devotional service with detachment. Thus his mind and consciousness will be under full control.*
*The process of liberation is very nicely explained in this verse. The cause of one's becoming conditioned by material nature is his thinking himself the enjoyer, the proprietor or the friend of all living entities. This false thinking is a result of contemplation on sense enjoyment. When one thinks that he is the best friend to his countrymen, to society or to humanity and he engages in various nationalistic, philanthropic and altruistic activities, all that is just so much concentration on sense gratification. The so-called national leader or humanist does not serve everyone; he serves his senses only. That is a fact. But the conditioned soul cannot understand this because he is bewildered by the spell of material nature. It is therefore recommended in this verse that one engage very seriously in the devotional service of the Lord.*

తల్లిదండ్రులారా! మీ పూజ కొరకు ఇచట ఆసనము నేర్పాటు చేసినాను. మీరు ఇచట కూర్చుండి నా కోరికను నెరవేర్చుడు (24).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -
పార్వతీ పరమేశ్వరులు గణేశుని ఆ మాటను విని ఆతని పూజను స్వీకరించుటకై ఆ ఆసనమునందు కూర్చుండిరి (25). గణేశుడు అపుడు వారిని పూజించి ప్రణమిల్లి ఏడు ప్రదక్షిణములను చేసెను (26). వత్సా! అపుడు మహాబుద్ధి శాలియగు గణేశుడు చేతులు జోడించి ప్రేమతో నిండియున్న తల్లిదండ్రులను బహుతెరంగుల స్తుతించి ఇట్లు పలికెను (27).
గణేశుడిట్లు పలికెను -
ఓ తల్లీ! ఓ తండ్రీ! మీరు నా యథార్థ వచనము నాలకింపుడు. మీరు నాకిప్పుడు శీఘ్రమే శుభకరమగు వివాహమును చేయవలెను (28).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-
మహాత్ముడు, గొప్ప బుద్ధి శాలి యగు గణేశుని ఈ మాటలను విని ఆ తల్లిదండ్రులు ఆతనితో నిట్లనరి(29).
పార్వతీ పరమేశ్వరులిట్లు పలికిరి -
నీవు వనములతో గూడియున్న భూమిని చుట్టి రావలెను. కుమార స్వామి అట్లు చేయుటకై వెళ్లినాడు. నీవు కూడ వెళ్లి భూమిని చుట్టి ఆతని కంటె మందు రమ్ము (30).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -
తల్లి దండ్రుల ఈ మాటను విని గణపతి వెంటనే కోపమును పొందెను. కాని ఆతడా కోపమును నియంత్రించుకొని ఇట్లు పలికెను (31).
గణేశుడిట్లు పలికెను -
ఓ తల్లీ! ఓ తండ్రీ! మీరిద్దరు ధర్మ స్వరూపులు, సత్స్వరూపులు మరియు జ్ఞానులు అని అందరు ఎరుంగుదురు. నేను ధర్మబద్ధ మగు మాటను పలికెదను. సావధానులై వినుడు (32). నేను ఏడు సార్లు పృథివిని చుట్టి వచ్చితిని. మీరు తల్లిదండ్రులై యుండి ఇట్లేల పలుకుచున్నారు ? (33)

27. Joining his palms in reverence and eulogising his parents agitated by love and affection, many times, Gaṇeśa the ocean of intelligence, spoke thus.
Gaṇeśa said:—
28. “O mother, O father, you please listen to my weighty words. My auspicious marriage shall be celebrated quickly.”
Brahmā said:—
29. On hearing the words of the noble-minded Gaṇeśa, the parents spoke to him, the storehouse of great intellect.

30. You shall circumambulate the earth with all its forests. Kumāra has already gone. You too start and return first.

31. On hearing the words of his parents, Gaṇeśa spoke immediately and furiously but with some restraint.
