🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
ఓ పృథాకుమారా! భక్తియుతసేవా యజ్ఞమునకు పరమలక్ష్యమైన పరతత్త్వము “సత్” అను పదముచే సూచింపబడును.
🌷. భాష్యము :
గర్భమునందు చేరుట మొదలుగా జీవితాంతము వరకు మనుజుని జీవన పవిత్రీకరణమునకై వేదవాజ్మయమున పెక్కు శుద్దికర్మలు ఉపదేశింపబడినవి “ప్రశస్తే కర్మణి” (విధ్యుక్తధర్మములు) యని పదము సూచించుచున్నది. జీవుని చరమమోక్షమునకై అట్టి పవిత్రీకరణవిధానములు అవలంబింపబడును.
ఆ కార్యములన్నింటి యందును “ఓంతత్సత్” అను మంత్రమును ఉచ్చరింపవలెనని ఉపదేశింపబడినది. ఇచ్చట “సద్భావే” మరియు “సాధుభావే” యను పదములు ఆధ్యాత్మికస్థితిని సూచించుచున్నవి. కృష్ణభక్తిభావనలో వర్తించుట “సత్త్వము” అనబడగా, కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావితుడైన భక్తుడు “సాధువు” అనబడును.
ఆధ్యాత్మిక విషయములు భక్తుల సాంగత్యమున సుస్పష్టములు కాగలవని శ్రీమద్భాగవతమున (3.25.25) “సతాం ప్రసంగాత్” అను పదము ద్వారా తెలుపబడినది. అనగా సత్సాంగత్యము లేనిదే ఎవ్వరును ఆధ్యాత్మికజ్ఞానమును పొందలేరు. మంత్రదీక్షను ఒసగునప్పుడుగాని, యజ్ఞోపవీతమును వేయునప్పుడుగాని గురువు ఈ “ఓంతత్సత్” అను పదములను ఉచ్చరించును.

🌷 Translation :
O son of Pṛthā. The Absolute Truth is the objective of devotional sacrifice, and it is indicated by the word sat.
🌹 Purport :
The words praśaste karmaṇi, or “prescribed duties,” indicate that there are many activities prescribed in the Vedic literature which are purificatory processes, beginning from the time of conception up to the end of one’s life.
Such purificatory processes are adopted for the ultimate liberation of the living entity. In all such activities it is recommended that one vibrate oṁ tat sat.
The words sad-bhāve and sādhu-bhāve indicate the transcendental situation. Acting in Kṛṣṇa consciousness is called sattva, and one who is fully conscious of the activities of Kṛṣṇa consciousness is called a sādhu.
In the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (3.25.25) it is said that the transcendental subject matter becomes clear in the association of the devotees. The words used are satāṁ prasaṅgāt. Without good association, one cannot achieve transcendental knowledge. When initiating a person or offering the sacred thread, one vibrates the words oṁ tat sat.

కులధర్మా: సనాతనా: |
ధర్మే నష్టే కులం కృత్స్నమ్‌
అధర్మో భిభవత్యుత ||
తాత్పర్యము : కులక్షయము వలన శాశ్వతమైన వంశాచారము నశించిపోవును. ఆ విధంగా వంశమున మిగిలినవారు అధర్మవర్తనులగుదురు.
భాష్యము : వర్ణాశ్రమ వ్యవస్థలో కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు అనేక ధర్మాలు ఇవ్వబడినవి. వాటిని చక్కగా పాటించినచో వారు క్రమేపి ఆధ్యాత్మిక చైతన్యమును పెంపొందించుకొనవచ్చును. పుట్టుక నుండి మరణము వరకు పెక్కు సంస్కారాలు చేయవలసి ఉంటుంది. వాటిని జరిపించుట పెద్దల బాధ్యత. అయితే అటువంటి పెద్దలు కురుక్షేత్ర యుద్ధంలో సంహరింపబడినట్లయితే పిల్లలు ఆ సంస్కారాలను నిర్లక్ష్యం చేసే అవకాశం ఉన్నది. తద్వారా అవలక్షణాలను పెంపొందించుకుని, మానవ జీవితాన్ని దుర్వినియోగము చేసుకుని మోక్ష పథాన్ని కోల్పోగలరు. కాబట్టి, పెద్దలను ఎట్టి పరిస్థితులలో సంహరింపరాదు.

*🌻 4.The Law of Life is Cooperation 🌻*
Most people come to grief due to the wrong notion that they can succeed by ‘asserting’ themselves. The truth is just the opposite.
The false idea that self-assertion can bring success is based on the ignorance of the fact that there are also others in this world who can equally assert themselves and stand against the assertion from any particular individual or centre of action. No one has ever succeeded in life, who confronted the ‘others’ in the world with his ego.
All egoism is met with an equally strong egoism from outside. To take always one’s own standpoint, whether in an action, an argument or even in feeling, is to court ‘opposition’, while the law of life is ‘cooperation’. Self-assertion, thus, is contrary to nature’s laws and shall stand defeated in the end.
All egoistic action, whether in mind, speech or body, evokes a similar action from other centres of force in the world and to live in such a condition is fitly called samsara, and experience in which perpetually warring elements react against one another and bring about restlessness and pain.

208. గాఢ నిద్రలో ఆనందమయ కోశము తన యొక్క పూర్తి ఎఱుకలో ఉంటుంది. కలలో మరియు ఎఱుక స్థితిలో అది సందర్భాను సారముగా జ్ఞానేంద్రియాల ప్రభావముతో ఎఱుక స్థితిలోనూ, కలలో జ్ఞాపకాల ప్రభావముతోనూ ఉంటుంది.
209. ఈ ఆనందమయ కోశము పరమాత్మ కాదు. అది మార్పులతో కూడి ఉన్నది. ప్రకృతి అనుసరించి గతములో చేసిన మంచి పనుల ఫలితముగా అది ఏర్పడుతుంది. దానికి ఇతర కోశముల ప్రభావము కూడా జత పడుతుంది.
210. ఎపుడైతే పంచకోశముల ప్రభావము; అది కాదు, అది కాదు అనే విచారణలో తొలగిపోతుందో, చివరకు మిగిలేది ఏదైతే ఉందో దాన్ని దర్శించిన అదే అనంత జ్ఞానముతో కూడిన ఆత్మ.
211. ఈ స్వయం ప్రకాశమైన ఆత్మ, తనకు తాను పంచకోశములతో అతీతమై, స్థూల, సూక్ష్మ కారణ శరీరములను దర్శిస్తూ సాక్షిగా ఉండి నిజమైన, మార్పు లేని స్థితిలో నిరంతరానందమును పొందుతూ ఉంటుంది. జ్ఞాని అదే తన ఆత్మ అని గ్రహించును.
212. శిష్యుడు ప్రశ్నిస్తున్నాడు:- ఈ ఐదు కోశములు విచారణ ద్వారా అసత్యములని తెలుసుకొని వాటిని తొలగించుకొన్నప్పుడు, నాకేమి గోచరించటలేదు. అందువలన గురువు గారు, ఈ విశ్వములో అంతా శూన్యము ఏమి కనిపించుటలేదు మరి అపుడు మిగిలింది ఏది? జ్ఞాని తన ఆత్మను ఎలా తెలుసుకొనగలడు?

208. The blissful sheath has its fullest play during profound sleep, while in the dreaming and wakeful states it has only a partial manifestation, occasioned by the sight of agreeable objects and so forth.
209. Nor is the blissful sheath the Supreme Self, because it is endowed with the changeful attributes, is a modification of the Prakriti, is the effect of past good deeds, and imbedded in the other sheaths which are modifications.
210. When all the five sheaths have been eliminated by the reasoning on Shruti passages, what remains as the culminating point of the process, is the Witness, the Knowledge Absolute – the Atman.
211. This self-effulgent Atman which is distinct from the five sheaths, the Witness of the three states, the Real, the Changeless, the Untainted, the everlasting Bliss – is to be realised by the wise man as his own Self.
212. The disciple questioned: After these five sheaths have been eliminated as unreal, I find nothing, O Master, in this universe but a Void, the absence of everything. What entity is there left forsooth with which the wise knower of the Self should realise his identity.

గురువు నుండి శిష్యునకు ఈ ప్రవాహము నిర్వర్తింప బడుటకు శిష్యునికి ఉన్ముఖత్వముతో పాటు సంస్కారము ముఖ్యము. సంస్కారము సరిగా లేనిచోట చైతన్య ప్రవాహమున కడ్డంకు లేర్పడును. ఈ అడ్డంకు లెక్కువగ శిష్యుని మనో వికార రూపమున నుండును. దేహము చేత కూడ ప్రవాహమునందుకొనలేని దుస్థితి యందుండవచ్చును. ఇందు మొదటిది శిష్యుడి జన్మల నుండి తానుగ తెచ్చుకొనుచున్నది.
రెండవది తను జన్మించిన వంశము తల్లి తండ్రులకు సంబంధించినది. ఈ రెండిటిని సంస్కరించు కొనుట శిష్యుని వంతు. చైతన్య ప్రవాహము నిర్వర్తించుట మా వంతు.

మానవ చైతన్య చరిత్రలో మనిషి మొదటిసారిగా తన వునికికి సంబంధించిన దారి నుంచే వేరయ్యాడు. దారి తప్పాడు. అందువల్లే ప్రపంచం బాధలు పడుతోంది.
ఇప్పటిదాకా మనుషులు యింతగా ఎప్పుడూ బాధలు పడలేదు. గతంలో జనం పేదవాళ్ళుగా వుండేవాళ్ళు. చాలా నిరుపేదలుగా వుండేవాళ్ళు. ఆకలితో అల్లాడేవాళ్ళు. కానీ ఆధ్యాత్మికంగా ఎప్పుడూ పేదతనం అనుభవించలేదు.
యిప్పుడున్నంత ఆధ్యాత్మిక దారిద్య్రం అప్పుడు లేదు. నా సమస్త ప్రయత్నం మీకు అస్తిత్వానికి సంబంధించిన అంతర్దృష్టిని యివ్వడమే. వునికిలో మనిషి వేర్లు లేకుంటే మనిషికి అస్థిత్వం లేదు !

పంచప్రేతముల యందు ఆసీనురాలై యున్నది. శ్రీమాత అని అర్థము. సృష్టికి ప్రధానమైన తత్త్వములు ఐదుగ ఋషులు గుర్తించిరి. ఈ ఐదింటి యందును శ్రీమాత ఆసీనురాలై యుండుట చేత అవి శక్తివంత మగుచున్నవి. అట్లు శ్రీమాత ఆసీనురాలు కానిచో అవి కేవలము ప్రేతములే.
ప్రేతము లనగా నిర్జీవములు. తమకు తాముగ కదలనైన కదలలేవు. ఎట్టి ప్రభావమును చూపలేవు. పంచభూతముల యందు శక్తి శ్రీమాతయే. పంచాంగములతో కూడిన శరీర మందలి శక్తి శ్రీమాతయే. పంచ తన్మాత్రల ప్రభావము శ్రీమాతయే. పంచ ప్రాణముల యందలి శక్తి శ్రీమాతయే. ఇట్లు పంచ తంత్రముల యందు శ్రీమాత శక్తియే విరాజిల్లుచున్నది.
పై విధముగనే ప్రధాన పంచతత్త్వములగు అగ్ని, పదార్థము, బ్రహ్మ, విష్ణువు, రుద్రుడు వీరి యందు కూడ శ్రీమాత అస్తిత్వమే. వారి వారికి ఆయా ప్రభావములు కలిగించు చున్నది. ఎంత గొప్ప విద్యుత్ పరికరమైనను, విద్యుత్ శక్తి ప్రసరించ నపుడు పని చేయలేదు కదా! అట్లే త్రిమూర్తులు, ప్రకృతి, అగ్ని కూడ శ్రీమాత యను విద్యుత్ శక్తి చేత నడిపింప బడుచున్నారు. ఆమె లేని వారు లేరు. సమస్తము నందు జీవము, శక్తి ఆమెయే.
శ్రీమాతయే ఉద్భవించనిచో పరతత్త్వము సృష్టి నిర్మాణమే చేయలేదు. నిద్రించుచున్న సృష్టికి మేలుకొలుపు శ్రీమాతయే. మనము నిద్ర నుండి మేల్కాంచుటకు కూడ శ్రీమాతయే కారణము. ఆమె అనుగ్రహించనిచో మేల్కాంచుటయే యుండదు, కదలిక లుండవు, ప్రాణము లుండవు, ప్రాణ స్పందన ముండదు. సాధారణముగ మరణించినపుడు జీవుడు ప్రేతమగును. యాతనా శరీరమున అవశుడై యుండును. ప్రేతము అవశత్వమునకు పరాకాష్ఠ. ఇది భరింపరాని ఒక అవస్థితి.
బ్రహ్మాదులకైనను అట్టి అవస్థితి కలుగ గలదు. కానీ కలుగదు. కారణము వారు శ్రీమాత శాశ్వత అనుగ్రహ పాత్రులు. అనుగ్రహము శ్రీమాత కృపయే కదా! అందువలన శ్రీమాత వారి యందు ఆసీనురాలు కానిచో వారు కూడా అవశులే అని హయగ్రీవుడు, అగస్త్యునకు బోధించుచున్నాడు.

*🌻 Pañca-pretāsanāsīnā पञ्च-प्रेतासनासीना (249) 🌻*
She is sitting on a throne held by five corpses. These five corpses are Brahma, Viṣṇu, Rudra, Mahādeva and Sadāśiva. Brahma looks after creation, Viṣṇu looks after sustenance, Rudra causes death, Mahādeva conceals the dissolved universe (tirodhāna) and Sadāśiva again re-creates the universe (anugraha). It is said that these five Lords cannot function without their Śaktī-s or consorts.
Commentators refer to the consorts of these five Gods and without them it is said that these Gods cannot perform their duties. When they are in inert condition, they are referred as corpses. Śaktī-s here should mean the various manifestations of Lalitāmbikā. Vāc Devi-s surely would not have meant to refer other gods and goddesses in this Sahasranāma.
Saundarya Laharī (verse 1) speaks about this. “Śiva becomes capable of creating the universe, only when united with Śaktī, but otherwise, He is incapable of even a stir. How then could one, who has not acquired merit (puṇya) worship you at least praise you, who is adored even by Viṣṇu, Śiva, Brahma, and others.”
The nāma means that acts of these Gods cannot be carried out without Her authority. Please also read the note at the end of the next nāma.
