*🌷. తాత్పర్యం : ఓ పురుషోత్తమా! ఓ పరమేశ్వారా! నీవు వర్ణించిన రీతిగా నీ యథార్థరూపమును నేను నా యెదుట చూడగలిగినను, నీవు ఏ విధముగా ఈ విశ్వమునందు ప్రవేశించితివో నేను గాంచ నభిలషించుచున్నాను. నీ యొక్క ఆ రూపమును నేను దర్శించగోరుదును.*
*🌷. భాష్యము : భౌతికవిశ్వమునందు తాను తన స్వీయప్రాతినిధ్యముచే ప్రవేశించియున్న కారణముగా అది సృష్టినొంది, నడుచుచున్నదని శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు పలికెను. తనకు సంబంధించినంతవరకు అర్జునుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుని వచనములచే జ్ఞానవంతుడయ్యెను. కాని శ్రీకృష్ణుడు సామాన్యమానవుడే యని భావించు నవకాశము కలిగిన భావిజనులకు విశ్వాసము కలిగించుట కొరకు అతడు ఆ దేవదేవుని విశ్వరూపమునందు గాంచగోరెను. తద్ద్వారా ఏ విధముగా ఆ భగవానుడు విశ్వమునకు పరుడై యున్నను విశ్వకార్యము నొనరించునో అతడు తెలియనెంచెను. అర్జునుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుని “పురుషోత్తమ” అని సంబోధించు యందును ప్రాముఖ్యము కలదు. ఏలయన దేవదేవుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుడు అర్జునుని అంతరమునందు నిలిచి అతని కోరికను ఎరిగియుండెను.*
*స్వీయ రూపమునందు గాంచుటనే సంపూర్ణముగా తృప్తిని బడసియున్నందున తనను విశ్వరూపమునందు నమ్మకమును కలిగించుటకే అతడు విశ్వరూపమును గాంచ గోరుచున్నాడనియు శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ఎరిగియుండెను. అనగా నిర్ధారణమును గూర్చి అర్జునుడు ఎట్టి స్వీయకోరికను కలిగియుండలేదు. భవిష్యత్తులో పలువురు తాము భగవానుని అవతారములని పలుకు అవకాశమున్నందున ఆ విషయమున ఒక ప్రమాణమును లేదా గురుతును ఏర్పరచుటకు అర్జునుడు విశ్వరూపమును గాంచగోరెనని శ్రీకృష్ణుడు అవగతము చేసికొనెను. కనుక తాము అవతారములని ప్రకటించుకొనివారి విషయమున జనులు జాగరూకులై యుండవలెను. తాను కృష్ణుడనని పలుకువాడు విశ్వరూపమును చూపి తన పలుకు సత్యమని జనులకు నిరూపణ చేయ సంసిద్ధుడై యుండవలెను.*

*draṣṭum icchāmi te rūpam aiśvaraṁ puruṣottama*
*🌷 Translation : O greatest of all personalities, O supreme form, though I see You here before me in Your actual position, as You have described Yourself, I wish to see how You have entered into this cosmic manifestation. I want to see that form of Yours.*
*🌹 Purport : The Lord said that because He entered into the material universe by His personal representation, the cosmic manifestation has been made possible and is going on. Now as far as Arjuna is concerned, he is inspired by the statements of Kṛṣṇa, but in order to convince others in the future who may think that Kṛṣṇa is an ordinary person, Arjuna desires to see Him actually in His universal form, to see how He is acting from within the universe, although He is apart from it. Arjuna’s addressing the Lord as puruṣottama is also significant. Since the Lord is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, He is present within Arjuna himself; therefore He knows the desire of Arjuna, and He can understand that Arjuna has no special desire to see Him in His universal form, for Arjuna is completely satisfied to see Him in His personal form of Kṛṣṇa.*
*But the Lord can understand also that Arjuna wants to see the universal form to convince others. Arjuna did not have any personal desire for confirmation. Kṛṣṇa also understands that Arjuna wants to see the universal form to set a criterion, for in the future there would be so many imposters who would pose themselves as incarnations of God. The people, therefore, should be careful; one who claims to be Kṛṣṇa should be prepared to show his universal form to confirm his claim to the people.*

*యజ్ఞాగ్నికిని,శివునకును తనతో నాడీసంధానము చేసి శక్త్యను సారముగ మూలమంత్రముతో అంగసహితముగ దశాంశహోమము చేయవలెను. ఒక్కొక్క కర్షప్రమాణము గల ఘృత-క్షీర-మధులను,శుక్తిప్రమాణము గల పెరుగును. చారెడు పాయసమును హోమము చేయవలెను. లాజలు, సర్వభక్ష్యములు పిడికిలి ప్రమాణమున గ్రహించి హోమము చేయవలెను. మూలములు మూడు ముక్కలు ఒక ఆహుతిగా ఈయవలెను-ఫలములో వాటిప్రమాణ మెంత ఉండునో అంతే చేయవలెను. అన్నము ప్రమాణము గ్రాసములో సగము. చిన్న (కిన్‌మిస్‌ వంటి) వాటిని పర్యాయమునకు ఐదేసి గ్రహించి హోమము చేయవలెను. చెరకు ఒక కణుపు గ్రహించవలెను. లతలు రెండేసి అంగుళము లుండవలెను. పుష్పపత్రముల ప్రమాణము వాటి ప్రమాణము ననుసరించి ఉండవలెను. సమిధలు పది అంగుళములు పొడవుండవలెను.*

46. Having established a union among the god of the sacrificial fire, god Śiva and his soul situated in his arteries, (the worshipper) should offer oblations with the principal mantra befitting one’s capacity and using one-tenth of mantras as a. supplement.
47. A kārṣika (a particular weight) of the clarified butter, milk and honey and a śukti (twice that of kārṣika) of the curd and a handful of sweet porridge (should be) offered.
48-49. The worshipper should offer as deemed fit the oblation with all the eatables, a handful of fried grains, three pieces of roots and an equal number of fruits. Five halfmouthfuls of cooked rice, bits of sugarcane of the length of a span and stems of sacrificial creepers measuring two fingers in length should be offered into the fire.
50. The oblations of flowers and leaves should be according to their own measure. The sacrificial twigs should measure ten fingers in length. The camphor, sandal, saffron, musk and an ointment made of camphor, aggallochum and kakkola in equal parts (should also be offered).
51. (The worshipper) should make an oblation of the kalāya (a leguminous seed) and guggulu (a fragrant (gum-resin) of the size of the kernel of the jujube fruit and eight parts of the roots as laid down.

*మనం రోజురోజుకూ సత్యానికి దగ్గరగా వస్తున్నాం! ఆ ఏడు వందల తలుపులు మనం తట్టకుంటే మనకు తెలిసే అవకాశం ఉండేది కాదు. కానీ ఇప్పుడు మేము ఏడు వందల తలుపులు తప్పు అని నిశ్చయించుకున్నాము. ఇది గొప్ప విజయం! ఇది ప్రాథమిక శాస్త్రీయ దృక్పథం: ఏదైనా తప్పు అని మీరు నిర్ణయించ గలిగితే, మీరు సత్యానికి దగ్గరగా వస్తున్నారు. మార్కెట్‌లో సత్యం అందుబాటులో లేదు కాబట్టి నేరుగా వెళ్లి ఆర్డర్ చేయలేరు. ఇది రెడీమేడ్ కాదు, అందుబాటులో లేదు. మీరు ప్రయోగం చేయాలి. కాబట్టి ఎల్లప్పుడూ ప్రయోగాత్మకంగా ఉండండి. మీరు చేసేది సరైనది అని ఎప్పుడూ అనుకోకండి. ఇది ఎప్పుడూ పరిపూర్ణమైనది కాదు. దానిపై మెరుగుపరచడం ఎల్లప్పుడూ సాధ్యమే; దానిని మరింత పరిపూర్ణంగా చేయడం ఎల్లప్పుడూ సాధ్యపడుతుంది.*

*Edison was working on a certain experiment for almost three years, and he had failed seven hundred times. All his colleagues and his students became completely frustrated. Every morning he would come to the lab happy and bubbling with joy, ready to start again. It was too much: seven hundred times and three years wasted! Everybody was almost certain that nothing was going to come of the experiment. The whole thing seemed to be useless, just a whim. They all gathered and told Edison, "We have failed seven hundred times. We have not achieved anything. We have to stop." Edison laughed uproariously. He said, "What are you talking about? Failed? We have succeeded in knowing that seven hundred methods won't be of any help.*
*We are coming closer and closer to the truth every day! If we had not knocked on those seven hundred doors, we would have had no way of knowing. But now we are certain that seven hundred doors are false. This is a great achievement! This is the basic scientific attitude: If you can decide that something is false, you are coming closer to the truth. Truth is not available in the market so that you can go directly and order it. It is not ready-made, available. You have to experiment. So always remain experimentative. And never become smug. Never think that whatever you are doing is perfect. It is never perfect. It is always possible to improve on it; it is always possible to make it more perfect.*

The highest level of consciousness means the thought process that is not associated with anything at all, where it remains all alone. This can be compared to a lonely person in a desert. For miles and miles he sees only sand dunes. His mind gradually gets accustomed to this nothingness.*
