బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-
అపుడు గొప్ప ఉత్సవము జరిగెను. ఓ మునీ | వేద ధ్వని విస్తరిల్లెను. జనులు నాల్గు విధముల (తత, ఆనద్ధ, సుషిర, ఘనములు) వాద్యములను మ్రోగించిరి (32). శంభుడు తన స్థానమునకు వచ్చి అపుడు మునులను, హరిని, నన్ను లోకారాచము ననుసరించి నమస్కరించెను. దేవతలు మొదలగు వారు ఆయనకు నమస్కరించిరి (33). అపుడు జయశబ్దము, నమశ్శబద్దము, మరియు విఘ్నముల నన్నిటినీ పారద్రోలి శుభములనిచ్చే వేద ధ్వని విస్తరిల్లెను (34). అపుడు విష్ణువు, నేను, ఇంద్రుడు, సర్వదేవతలు, ఋషులు, సిద్ధులు, ఉపదేవతలు, నాగులు వేర్వేరుగా స్తుతించిరి (35).
దేవతలిట్లు పలికిరి -
హే శంభో! సర్వాధారా! జయము. ఓ మహేశ్వరా! నీ నామమునకు జయము. ఓరుద్రా! మహాదేవా! జయము. జగత్తును పోషించే ఓ ప్రభూ! జయము (36).కాళీపతీ! స్వామీ! జయము. ఆనందమును పెంపొందించు వాడా! జయము. ముక్కంటీ! సర్వేశ్వరా! జయము. మాయాధీశా! ప్రభూ! జయము (37). గుణరహితా! కామ రహితా! కారణముగు ప్రకృతికి అతీతమైన వాడా! సర్వవ్యాపీ! జయము. లీలచే సర్వముకు ఆధారమై రూపమును ధరించిన వాడా! జయము. నీకు నమస్కారమగు గాక! (38) నీ భక్తులకు యోగ్యమగు కామనలను ఇచ్చు ఈశ్వరా! దయానిధీ! జయము. సచ్చిదానంద రూపా! జయము. మాయచే గుణములను, రూపమును స్వీకరించినవాడా! జయము (39). భయంకరాకారా! రక్షకుడా! సర్వాత్మా! దీనబంధూ! దయాసముద్రా! జయము. వికారహీనుడా! మాయాధీశా! వాక్కులకు, మనస్సునకు అతీతమైన విగ్రహము గలవాడా! జయము (40).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-
విష్ణువు మొదలగు ఆ దేవతలు గిరిజాపతి యగు మహేశ్వర ప్రభుని ఇట్లు స్తుతించి మహానందముతో యథాయోగ్యముగా సేవించిరి (41). ఓ నారదా! అపుడు మహేశ్వరుడు, లీలచే స్వీకరింపబడిన దేహము గలవాడు అగు శివుడు అచట వారందరినీ సన్మానించి వరముల నిచ్చెను (42). వత్సా! విష్ణువు మొదలగు ఆ దేవతలందరు పరమేశ్వరుని అనుమతిని పొంది మహానందముతో ప్రసన్నమగు ముఖములు గలవారై సాదరముగా తమ తమ స్థానములకు వెళ్లిరి (43).
శ్రీ శివ మహాపురాణములోని రుద్ర సంహితయందు పార్వతీ ఖండలో కామ సంజీవనమనే ఏబది యొకటవ అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (51).

Brahmā said:—
32. O sage, there was great jubilation then. Sounds of Vedic chants rose up. People played on the four kinds of musical instruments.
33. Coming back to His apartment, Śiva saluted the sages, Viṣṇu and me according to the worldly convention. He was duly saluted by the gods and others.
34. Shouts of “Victory” and “Obeisance” rose up along with the sound of Vedic mantras which were auspicious and which removed all obstacles.
35. Then Viṣṇu, I (Indra), gods, sages, Siddhas, secondary gods and the Nāgas eulogised Him severally.
The gods said:—
36. O śiva, be victorious. O lord Śiva, the support of all, be victorious. O Rudra, O great lord, the supporter of the world, be victorious.
37. O Pārvatī’s lord, O lord, accentuator of pleasure, O three-eyed one, O lord of all, the lord of illusion, be victorious, be victorious.
38. O lord, devoid of attributes, bereft of desires, O lord beyond all causes, O omnipresent, O playful support of all, O assumer of forms, Obeisance to you, be victorious.
39-40. O lord, bestower of good desires to your devotees, O merciful one, O bliss-formed, assuming forms through magic illusions, be victorious. Be victorious, O kind, O All-souled one, friend of the distressed, storehouse of mercy, O lord of illusion, free from aberrations, whose body is beyond the reach of speech and mind.
Brahmā said:—
41. Eulogising thus, Viṣṇu and others joyously served lord Śiva, the husband of Pārvatī duly, and with great love.
42. O Nārada, Śiva, the lord who had assumed body sportively, granted boons and honour to all present there.
43. O dear one, Viṣṇu and others taking leave of the great lord delightedly returned to their respective places. They were duly honoured and their faces beamed with pleasure.

అగ్ని పలికెను : యధిష్ఠిరుని సేనయు, దుర్యోధనుని సేనయు కురుక్షేత్రమును చేరినవి. అర్జునుడు భీష్మద్రోణాదులను చూచి యుద్ధము చేయడని తెలిసికొని, భగవంతుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణు డాతనితో ఇట్లనెను. భీష్మాదులను గూర్చి శోకింప పనిలేదు. శరీరములు నశించును గాని ఆత్మ నశించదు. ఈ జీవాత్మ పరమాత్మయే. "నేనే పరబ్రహ్మను" అని తెలిసికొనుము. ప్రయత్నము సిద్ధించినను, సిద్ధింపకున్నను సమబుద్ధి కలవాడవై, యోగివై, రాజధర్మమును పాలించుము.
ఈ విధముగా కృష్ణుడు ఉపదేశించగా అర్జునుడు రథముపై నెక్కి, వాద్య శబ్దములు చేయుచు యుద్ధము చేసెను. మొదట దుర్యోధన సైన్యమునకు భీష్ముడు సేనాపతి యయ్యెను. పాండవలకు శిఖండి సేనాపతి అయ్యెను. ఆ రెండు సైన్యములకును యుద్ధము జరిగెను. భీష్మునితో కూడన కౌరవులు యుధ్ధమునందు పాండవులను కొట్టిరి. శిఖండి మొదలగు పాండవ పక్షీయులు యుద్ధమునందు కౌరవులను కొట్టిరి. కురుపాండవ సేనల మధ్య యుద్ధము, ఆకాశము నుండి చూచుచున్న దేవతలకు ప్రీతిని వృద్ధిపొందించుచు, దైవాసుర యుద్ధము వలె జరిగెను.
భీష్ముడు పది దివసములలో, అస్త్రములచే పాండవ సైన్యమును ధ్వంసము చేసెను. పదవ రోజున, అర్జునుడు వీరుడైన భీష్మునిపై బాణవర్షము కురింపించెను. ద్రుపదుడు ప్రేరేపించగా శిఖండి కూడ, మేఘమువలె అస్త్రములను వర్షించెను. పరస్పరము ప్రయోగించిన అస్త్రజాలముచే ఏనుగులు, గుఱ్ఱములు, రథములు, కాలిబంటులు నేలపై కూలెను.
స్వేచ్ఛామరణము గల భీష్ముడు తనతో ఎట్లు యుద్ధము చేయవలెనో పాండవులకు చెప్పి వసువులచేత ప్రేరితుడై, వసులోకమునకు తిరిగి వెళ్ళదలచి, శరశయ్యాగతుడై విష్ణువును ధ్యానించుచు, స్తుతించుచు, ఉత్తారాయణమునకై వేచి యుండెను.

Agni said:
1-3. The armies of Yudhiṣṭhira and Duryodhana went to Kurukṣetra. Having seen Bhīṣma, Droṇa and others, (Arjuna said) that he would not fight with his preceptors. The Lord (Kṛṣṇa) said to Pārtha (Arjuna), “You need not worry about Bhīṣma and prominent men. The bodies are perishable. But the soul does not perish. This soul is the supreme Brahman. You know that (by realizing that), ‘I am Brahman’ Being neutral towards success and defeat and as a yogin you protect the duties of a king.”
4-6. Being told thus by Kṛṣṇa, Arjuna fought (the battle). He sounded drums remaining in the chariot. Bhīṣma was the first commander for the army of Duryodhana. And Śikhaṇḍi (was the commander) for the Pāṇḍavas. There was a fight between these two armies. (The armies) of the son of Dhṛta-rāṣṭra along with Bhīṣma killed the armies of Pāṇḍavas. The Pāṇḍavas in the company of Śikhaṇḍī[1] and others killed (the army) of the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra. The battle between the armies of Kurus and Pāṇḍavas was similar (to the battle) between devas and asuras.
7-10. It was (a cause) for the growth of delight of the devas in the heavens who were watching it. For ten days Bhīṣma destroyed the army of Pāṇḍavas with astras. On the tenth day Arjuna showered arrows on the valiant Bhīṣma. On the words of Drupada, Śikhaṇḍī[2] showered astras just as a cloud would do. The elephants, horses, chariots and infantry were brought down by the astras (of the two armies) mutually. Bhīṣma, able to die at his own will, after having shown the mode of war and being told by the Vasus (a class of deities), was remaining in the bed of arrows awaiting to reach Vasuloka, and for the (commencement of the) summer solstice all the while remaining contemplating on Viṣṇu and praising Him.

*🌻 365-2. 'స్వాత్మానంద లవీభూత బ్రహ్మాద్యానంద సంతతిః' 🌻*
బ్రహ్మ విష్ణు మహేశ్వరులు శ్రీమాత సంతతి. వారిచే సృష్టి కార్యములను నిర్వర్తింప చేయునది శ్రీమాత. వారునూ శ్రీమాత భక్తులే అగుటచే కర్తృత్వ అహంకారమున గాక ఈశ్వరునియందే అధిక చింతన కలిగిన వారై యుందురు. కర్తృత్వము నిర్వర్తింపబడు చుండును. కాని వీరి ఆనందము శ్రీమాత ఆనందముతో పోల్చదగినది కాదు. శ్రీమాత సంతతి పొందు ఆనందము కన్న తాను పొందు ఆనందము మిక్కుటము. సంతతి కలుగుచుండగ వారికి కర్తృత్వ భావము పెరుగుచున్న కొలది బ్రహ్మనందము తగ్గుచుండును. త్రిమూర్తుల ఆనందముకన్న ఆదిత్యుల ఆనందము, రుద్రుల ఆనందము, వసువుల ఆనందము మరికొంత తక్కువగ నుండును. ఆదిత్యులలో పూషుడు, రుద్రులలో శంకరుడు, పూర్ణానందము కలిగి యుందురు.
భగవద్గీత యందలి విభూతి యోగములో శ్రీకృష్ణుడు పేర్కొనిన వారందరునూ ఇతరులతో పోల్చినపుడు అధికులు. అనగా ఆనందమున అధికులు. ఆనందము లవలేశము కూడ లేనివారి నుండి ఆనందము పరిపూర్ణమై యున్నవారి వరకు అందరునూ శ్రీమాత సంతతియే. అహంకార భావము హెచ్చుతగ్గులను బట్టి, ఆనందము హెచ్చుతగ్గులుగ నుండును. అహంకారము దాదాపుగ లేనటువంటి సనక సనందనాదులు, సప్తఋషులు, మనువులు, నారదుడు, వశిష్ఠుడు, అగస్త్యుడు, గౌతముడు, పూర్ణానంద స్వరూపులుగ తెలుపబడుదురు.

*🌻 365-2. Svātmānanda-lavī-bhūta-brahmādyānanda-santatiḥ स्वात्मानन्द-लवी-भूत-ब्रह्माद्यानन्द-सन्ततिः 🌻*
Taittirīya Upaniṣhad (II.8) beautifully describes bliss. “To give the idea of bliss that Brahman represents, take a young and honest man with a commanding personality, well versed in the scriptures, well built and strong. Suppose he owns the wealth of the entire world, then take his maximum stage of happiness as one unit and multiply it with infinity, is the bliss of the Brahman”. In the next verse, the Upaniṣhad says “…being free from desires, he first attains the self represented by the vital breath, then the self represented by the mind, then the self represented by the intellect and the self represented by bliss and finally merges into the cosmic self or the Brahman”.
The bliss is the penultimate stage of the final salvation. Such a sort of bliss can be experienced only during the last stages of merger into the Brahman, the final stages of liberation, the state of kaivalya.
This nāma is in confirmation of nāma 363 which says that she is in fact the Supreme Brahman or the Brahman without attributes.
