🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
*ఓ మాహాబాహుడవైన అర్జునా! వాటికి అన్యముగా న్యునమైన ప్రకృతిని ఉపయోగించుకొను జీవులను కూడియున్న నా ఉన్నతమైన శక్తి వేరొక్కటి కలదు.*
🌷. భాష్యము :
జీవులు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని ఉన్నతమైన ప్రకృతికి (శక్తికి) చెందినవారని ఇచ్చట స్పష్టముగా తెలుపబడినది. భూమి, జలము, అగ్ని, వాయువు, ఆకాశము, మనస్సు, బుద్ధి, అహంకారము అను వివిధాంశములుగా ప్రదర్శింపబడు భౌతికపదార్థమే న్యూనమైన శక్తి. భుమ్యాది స్థూలవిషయములు రెండు ప్రకృతిరూపములు న్యునశక్తి నుండి ఉద్భవించినట్టివే. వివిధప్రయోజనములకై ఈ న్యునశక్తులను వినియోగించుకొను జీవులు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని ఉన్నతశక్తికి సంబంధించినవారై యున్నారు. అటువంటి ఈ ఉన్నతశక్తి వలననే సమస్తజగత్తు నడుచుచున్నది.
ఉన్నతశక్తికి చెందిన జీవుడు నడుపనిదే భౌతికజగత్తు నడువలేదు. కాని శక్తులు అన్నివేళలా వానిని కలిగియున్న శక్తిమానినిచే నియమింపబడి యున్నందున జీవులు సదా భగవానునిచే నియమింపబడెడివారే. కనుక వారికెన్నడును స్వతంత్ర ఉనికి యనునది ఉండదు. కొందరు బుద్ధిహీనులు ఊహించునట్లు వారెన్నడును భగవానునితో సమశక్తిమంతులు కాజాలరు.

🌷 Translation :
*Besides these, O mighty-armed Arjuna, there is another, superior energy of Mine, which comprises the living entities who are exploiting the resources of this material, inferior nature.*
🌹 Purport :
Here it is clearly mentioned that living entities belong to the superior nature (or energy) of the Supreme Lord. The inferior energy is matter manifested in different elements, namely earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego. Both forms of material nature, namely gross (earth, etc.) and subtle (mind, etc.), are products of the inferior energy. The living entities, who are exploiting these inferior energies for different purposes, are the superior energy of the Supreme Lord, and it is due to this energy that the entire material world functions. The cosmic manifestation has no power to act unless it is moved by the superior energy, the living entity.
Energies are always controlled by the energetic, and therefore the living entities are always controlled by the Lord – they have no independent existence. They are never equally powerful, as unintelligent men think.

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -
శివ విభుడిట్లు పలుకగా గణములు దృఢనిశ్చయము చేసుకొని సర్వసన్నద్ధులై పార్వతీ మందిరమునకు వెళ్లిరి (1).
గణాధ్యక్షులందరు యుద్ధమునకు సన్నద్ధులై వచ్చి యుండుటను గాంచి గణేశుడు వారితో నిట్లనెను (2).
గణేశుడిట్లు పలికెను -
శివుని ఆజ్ఞను పాలించు గణాధ్యక్షలందరీకీ స్వాగతము. బాలుడు, ఏకాకి అగు నేను పార్వతీ దేవి ఆజ్ఞను పాలించెదను (3). పార్వతీదేవి తన కుమారుని బలమును చూచుగాక! శివుడు కూడా తన గణముల బలమును చూడగలడు (4). ఈ యుద్ధములో భవాని పక్షమున బాలుడు, శివుని పక్షమున బలవంతులగు గణములు ఉన్నారు. మీరు పూర్వము అనేక యుద్ధములలో రాటు దేలిన యుద్ధ నిపుణులు (5). నేను పూర్వము యుద్ధమును చేయనే లేదు. బాలుడనగు నేను ఇపుడు యుద్ధమును చేయబోవు చున్నాను (6).
ఈ సంధర్భములో నాకు కలుగబోయే వినాశ##మేమియూ లేదు. పార్వతీ పరమేశ్వరులు సిగ్గుపడినచో, అది నాకు మీకు కూడ సిగ్గుపడదగినవిషయమే యగును (7). ఓ గణనాథులారా! మీరీ సత్యమునెరింగి యుద్ధమునకు దిగుడు. మీరు మీ ప్రభువు ముఖమును, నేను నా తల్లి ముఖమును చూచి (8), యుద్ధమును చేసెదము. ఎట్టి యుద్ధము జరుగవలసియున్నదో అట్టి యుద్ధము జరుగుగాక! దానిని అపగల సమర్థుడు ముల్లోకములలో లేడు (9).

Brahmā said:—
1. When Śiva told them thus, they came to a decisive resolution. They got ready and went to Śiva’s palace.
2. On seeing the excellent Gaṇas, fully equipped for war, coming, Gaṇeśa spoke thus to them.
Gaṇeśa said:—
3. Welcome to the leaders of Gaṇas, carrying out the behests of Śiva. I am only one and that too a mere boy carrying out the directions of Pārvatī.
4. Yet let the goddess see the strength of her son. Let Śiva see the strength of his Gaṇas too.
5. The fight between the parties of Pārvatī and Śiva is the one between a strong army and a boy. You are all experts in warfare and have fought in many a battle.
6. I have never fought in a battle before. I am a mere boy. I am going to fight now. Still if you are put to shame, it will be shameful to Śiva and Pārvatī.
7. But that will not happen to me. If I am put to shame, the contrary will happen to me. Pārvatī and Śiva will be put to shame but not I.
8. O leader of the Gaṇas, the war shall be fought after realising this. You shall look up to your lord and I to my mother.
9. What sort of a fight shall be fought? Let what is destined to occur, occur. No one in the three worlds can ward it off.

*మనిషి మేల్కొనే స్థితికి భిన్నమైన స్థితుల గుండా వెళ్ళే సందర్భాలు ఉన్నాయి. మనిషి ఎప్పుడూ మేల్కొనే ఉండడు; అతను మేల్కొని లేనప్పటికీ ఉనికిలో ఉండే సందర్భాలు ఉన్నాయి. కల అనేది ఒక ఉదాహరణ. మనిషి కలలో కూడా ఉంటాడు; అతను చనిపోలేదు. కానీ ఇక్కడ మేల్కొనే స్పృహ పనిచేయదు; ఇంద్రియాలు చురుకుగా ఉండవు. అప్పుడు తన భౌతిక కళ్లతో చూడడు, చెవులతో వినడు. కలలు కంటున్నప్పుడు చెవుల దగ్గర శబ్దం వస్తే, అతను వినకపోవచ్చు; నాలుకపై మధురమైన పదార్థాన్ని ఉంచినట్లయితే, అతను దానిని రుచి చూడలేడు.*
*స్వప్న స్థితిలో కూడా ఒక యంత్రాంగం పనిచేస్తూనే ఉంటుంది. 'నేను నిన్న కలలు కన్నాను,' అనేది కల నుండి మేల్కొన్నప్పుడు అందరూ సాధారణంగా చెప్పేది. 'నేను' కలలో ఉందా? అవును, 'నేను' అనేది ఉనికిలో ఉంది. ‘నేను’ ఏ స్థితిలో ఉంది? శరీరం వలె కాదు, ఎందుకంటే శరీరం క్రియారహితంగా ఉంది. అప్పుడు అక్కడ శరీరం ఉనికి గురించి తెలియదు. అప్పుడు ఆ వ్యక్తి శరీరంతో తనను తాను గుర్తించలేడు. మనిషి తన కలలో ఈ శరీరం కాదు. అప్పుడు అతను ఏమిటి? సరే, 'నేను మనస్సు మాత్రమే' అని ఒకరు అనవచ్చు. మనస్సు పనిచేస్తోంది; మనస్సు ఉనికిలో ఉంది; మనస్సు పనిచేస్తోంది; మనస్సు ఒక కల అని పరిగణించబడే మొత్తం దృగ్విషయాలను అనుభవిస్తోంది.*

*🌻28. Man is not Always Waking🌻*
*There are occasions when man passes through states which are different from the waking one. Man is not always waking; he is in other conditions also, when he still exists. Dream is one instance. Man exists even in dream; he is not dead. But here the waking consciousness does not operate; the senses are not active. One does not see with the eyes, does not hear with the ears. If a sound is made near the ears when one is dreaming, he may not hear it; if a particle of sugar is placed on the tongue, he may not taste it.*
*A mechanism operates even in the state of dream. And, “I dreamt yesterday,” is what everyone generally says when one wakes up from dream. Did ‘I' exist in dream? Yes, ‘I' did exist. In what condition did ‘I' exist? Not as the body, for the body was inactive. One was not aware of the existence of the body. One could not identify oneself with the body. Man was not the body at all, for all practical purposes, in his dream. What was he, then? Well, one may say, “I was only the mind.” The mind was operating; the mind was existing; the mind was functioning; the mind was experiencing the whole phenomena of what could be regarded as a dream life.*
