*54. bhaktyā tv ananyayā śakya aham evaṁ-vidho ’rjuna*
*jñātuṁ draṣṭuṁ ca tattvena praveṣṭuṁ ca paran-tapa*
*🌷 Translation : My dear Arjuna, only by undivided devotional service can I be understood as I am, standing before you, and can thus be seen directly. Only in this way can you enter into the mysteries of My understanding.*
*🌹 Purport : Kṛṣṇa can be understood only by the process of undivided devotional service. He explicitly explains this in this verse so that unauthorized commentators, who try to understand Bhagavad-gītā by the speculative process, will know that they are simply wasting their time. No one can understand Kṛṣṇa or how He came from parents in a four-handed form and at once changed Himself into a two-handed form. These things are very difficult to understand by study of the Vedas or by philosophical speculation. Therefore it is clearly stated here that no one can see Him or enter into understanding of these matters. Those who, however, are very experienced students of Vedic literature can learn about Him from the Vedic literature in so many ways.*
*There are so many rules and regulations, and if one at all wants to understand Kṛṣṇa, he must follow the regulative principles described in the authoritative literature. One can perform penance in accordance with those principles. For example, to undergo serious penances one may observe fasting on Janmāṣṭamī, the day on which Kṛṣṇa appeared, and on the two days of Ekādaśī (the eleventh day after the new moon and the eleventh day after the full moon). As far as charity is concerned, it is plain that charity should be given to the devotees of Kṛṣṇa who are engaged in His devotional service to spread the Kṛṣṇa philosophy, or Kṛṣṇa consciousness, throughout the world. Kṛṣṇa consciousness is a benediction to humanity. Lord Caitanya was appreciated by Rūpa Gosvāmī as the most munificent man of charity because love of Kṛṣṇa, which is very difficult to achieve, was distributed freely by Him. So if one gives some amount of his money to persons involved in distributing Kṛṣṇa consciousness, that charity, given to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness, is the greatest charity in the world.*

*ఆకాశవాణి ఇట్లు పలికెను- నేను మూడు రకముల గుణములచే మూడు రూపములుగా విడివడి యున్నాను. సత్త్వరజస్తమోగుణములచే నేను గౌరి, లక్ష్మి, సరస్వతి అను రూపములను ధరించియున్నాను. ఓ దేవతలారా! (34) మీరు ఆదరముతో వారి వద్దకు వెళ్లుడు. ప్రసన్నులైన వారు నా ఆజ్ఞచే మీ కోరికను నెరవేర్చగలరు (35).*
*సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను- వారా మాటలను విను చుండగనే ఆ తేజస్సు అంతర్హితమయ్యెను. ఓ మునీ! దేవతలు అపుడా తేజస్సును ఆశ్చర్యముతో విప్పారిన నేత్రములతో చూచుచుండిరి (36). అపుడా దేవతలందరూ ఆ వాక్యమును ఆదరముచే విని దానిచే ప్రేరేపించబడినవారై గౌరీలక్ష్మీసరస్వతులను ప్రణమిల్లిరి (37). బ్రహ్మ మొదలగు ఆ దేవతలందరు తలలను వంచి మహాభక్తితో ఆ దేవీమూర్తులను వివిధములగు వాక్కులతో స్తుతించిరి (38). ఓ వ్యాసా! అపుడు వెంటనే ఆ దేవీ మూర్తులు వారి యెదుట ఆవిర్భవించిరి. వారు మహాద్భుతమగు తమ తేజస్సులచే దిగంతము వరకు ప్రకాశింపచేయుచుండిరి (39). అపుడు దేవతలు వారిని గాంచి ప్రసన్నమగు మనస్సు గలవారై వారికి భక్తితో ప్రణమిల్లి స్తుతించి తమ కార్యమును విన్నవించిరి (40). భక్తవాత్సల్యము గల ఆ దేవీ మూర్తులు అపుడు నమస్కరించియున్న దేవతలను గాంచి వారికి బీజములనిచ్చి వారితో సాదరముగా నిట్లనిరి (41).*

Sanatkumāra said:—
36. Even as the gods were listening to this speech with eyes gaping with wonder, the refulgence vanished.
37. On hearing the speech, the gods, urged by it bowed respectfully to Gaurī, Lakṣmī and Sarasvatī.
38. Brahmā and other gods eulogised the goddesses with various speeches and bowed their heads.
39. Then the goddesses appeared in front of them, suddenly, O Vyasa, illuminating the quarters with their wonderful brilliance.
40. On seeing them, the gods eulogised them with great devotion and delighted minds. They submitted what they wanted to be carried out.
41. Thus bowed and eulogised, the goddesses who are favourably disposed to the devotees, faced the gods and addressed them eagerly after giving them seeds.

*In the temples we are just doing fake things. In the temples we offer flowers that are not ours; we borrow them, from the trees. They were already offered to God on the trees, and they were alive on the trees; you have killed them, you have murdered something beautiful, and now you are offering those murdered flowers to God and not even feeling ashamed. I have watched. Particularly in India people don't take the flowers of their own plants: "they pick them from the neighbors, and nobody can prevent them, because this is a religious country and they are picking flowers for religious purposes.*
*People burn lights and candles, but they are not theirs; people burn incense and create fragrance, but all is borrowed. The real temple is created by blissfulness-and all these things start happening on their own. If you are blissful you will find a few flowers are being offered, but those flowers are of your consciousness; there will be light, but that light is of your own inner flame; there will be fragrance, but that fragrance belongs to your very being. This is true worship.*
