*సర్వేంద్రియాణామాత్మత్వం వాయోః కర్మాభిలక్షణమ్॥*
*చెట్లకొమ్మలను చలింపజేయుటకు, తృణాదులను ఒకచోట చేర్చుట, సర్వత్ర వ్యాపించుట, వస్తువులయొక్క వాసనలను (గంధమును) ఘ్రాణేంద్రియము (ముక్కు) కడకును. శబ్దముసు శ్రోత్రేంద్రియము (చెవులు) కడకును చేర్చుట అట్లే సమస్త ఇంద్రియములకును కార్యశక్తిని కలిగించుట అనునవి వాయువుయొక్క వృత్తుల (కార్యముల) లక్షణములు.*
*ప్రతీ దాన్ని కదిలించడం గాలి యొక్క గుణం. దగ్గరగా ఉన్న దాన్ని విడదీసేదీ, దూరముగా ఉన్నవాటిని దగ్గరకు చేసేదీ వాయువు. ఈ రెండిటికీ కదలిక కావాలి. ద్రవ్యమునూ(గంధమును) శబ్దమునూ మన దగ్గరకు తీసుకుని వస్తుంది. అన్ని ఇంద్రియములనూ ధరించేది వాయువు. మన ఇంద్రియాలు అన్నీ ఆకాశములోనే ఉన్నాయి. అవి కింద పడకుండా ఆపేది వాయువు. అలాగే అన్ని గోళాలు ఆకాశములో ఉన్నాయి కానీ కింద పడవు, అలాగే అవయవ రంధ్రాలలో ఇంద్రియాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఆ ఇంద్రియాలను ధరించేది వాయువు. చక్షురింద్రియం, ఘ్రానేంద్రియం వంటివి ఇంకో గోళం (అవయవము) లోకి వెళ్ళకుండా ఉండటానికి కారణం వాయువు.*

*37. cālanaṁ vyūhanaṁ prāptir netṛtvaṁ dravya-śabdayoḥ*
*sarvendriyāṇām ātmatvaṁ vāyoḥ karmābhilakṣaṇam*
*The action of the air is exhibited in movements, mixing, allowing approach to the objects of sound and other sense perceptions, and providing for the proper functioning of all other senses.*
*We can perceive the action of the air when the branches of a tree move or when dry leaves on the ground collect together. Similarly, it is only by the action of the air that a body moves, and when the air circulation is impeded, many diseases result. Paralysis, nervous breakdowns, madness and many other diseases are actually due to an insufficient circulation of air. In the Āyur-vedic system these diseases are treated on the basis of air circulation. If from the beginning one takes care of the process of air circulation, such diseases cannot take place.*
*From the Āyur-veda as well as from the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam it is clear that so many activities are going on internally and externally because of air alone, and as soon as there is some deficiency in the air circulation, these activities cannot take place. Here it is clearly stated, netṛtvaṁ dravya-śabdayoḥ. Our sense of proprietorship over action is also due to the activity of the air. If the air circulation is stifled, we cannot approach a place after hearing. If someone calls us, we hear the sound because of the air circulation, and we approach that sound or the place from which the sound comes. It is clearly said in this verse that these are all movements of the air. The ability to detect odors is also due to the action of the air.*

*భగవంతుని ఆలయము నందు ఇటుకలు ఎంతకాల ముండునో అంతవరకును, వాటిని నిర్మించినవాడు, తన కులముతో కూడ, విష్ణులోకములో నుందును. ఇహలోకమునందును, పరలోకమునందును గూడ ఆతడే పూజనీయుడు; అతడే పుణ్యవంతుడు.*
*శ్రీకృష్ణునకు ఆలయము కట్టించిన పుణ్యాత్ముడే పుట్టినవారిలో లెక్క. అతడే తన వంశమును రక్షించువాడు. విష్ణు-శివ-సూర్య-దేవ్యాదులకు ఆలయమును నిర్మించువాడే ఈ లోకమునందు కీర్తి పొందును. ఎంతో శ్రమపడి సంపాదించిన ధనమును, శ్రీకృష్ణాలయమును నిర్మించుటకు వినియోగింపక, కేవలము దానిని రక్షించుచుండు మూమార్ఖునకు దానివల్ల ఏమి ప్రయోజనము కలుగును?*
*పితరులు, బ్రాహ్మణులు, దేవతలు-వీరికై తన ధనమును వినియోగించని వాని ధనము, బంధువులకు ఉపకరించని వాని ధనము వ్యర్థము. దానమునకు గాని, భోగమునకు గాని, ధర్మాచరణమునకు గాని, కీర్తి కొరకు గాని ఉపకరించని ధనమునకు స్వామి అయి ఏమి ప్రయోజనము? అందుచే పూర్వజన్మాదృష్టముచేత గాని, పురుష ప్రయత్నముచేత గాని, మరి ఏఉపాయాంతరముచేత గాని లభించిన ధనమును ఉత్తమబ్రహ్మణులకు దానము చేయవలెను; స్థిరకీర్త లభించుటకు ఉపయోగించవలెను. దానికీర్త్యాదుకంటె గూడ దేవాలయనిర్మాణము ఉత్తమ మైనది గాన బుద్ధిమంతుడు విష్ణ్వాదిదేవతలకు ఆలయములు కట్టించవలెను.*

*🌻 Benefits of constructing temples - 3 🌻*
18. Those who decorate (the temple) of Viṣṇu with the bandhūka flowers and an oint with fragrant paste, also reach the place of the lord. (Having erected the temple of Hari), a person obtains two-fold merits after having elevated the fallen, the falling and half-fallen. He who brings about the fall of a man is the protector of one fallen.
19. By (erecting) a temple of Viṣṇu one reaches his region. As long as the bricks remain in the temple of Hari, the founder of that family is honoured in the world of Viṣṇu. He becomes pious and adorable in this world as well as the next.
20. He who builds a temple for Kṛṣṇa, the son of Vasudeva is born as a man of good deeds and his family gets purified.
21. He who builds an abode for Viṣṇu, Rudra, Sun or the goddess etc. acquires fame. What is the use of the hoarded riches for an ignorant person?
22-23. If one does not cause an abode for Kṛṣṇa to be built (with wealth) acquired by hard (work) (and) if one’s wealth could not be enjoyed by manes, brahmins, celestials and relatives, his acquisition of wealth is useless. As death is certain for a man so also the destruction of wealth.
24. One who does not spend his riches for charities or for enjoyments is stupid and is being bound even while alive, while the riches are flickery.
25. Is there any merit in being the lord of wealth acquired either accidentally or by one’s effort, if it is not spent for acquiring fame or for philanthropy?
