🌴. మనస్సును దాని కేంద్రములో ఉంచడం ద్వారా అవగాహన చేసుకొను శూన్యతను గ్రహించవచ్చు.🌴

ఒక వ్యక్తి లోపల చూడటం ద్వారా దీన్ని చేయగలిగి నప్పుడు (లోపలికి చూడటం అనేది అతని ఆత్మ మరియు అతని మనస్సును అనుసంధానించే ప్రక్రియ. రెండూ అతని అంతరంగంలో అందుబాటులో ఉంటాయి), అతను లోపలికి చూడడమే కాదు, మొత్తం విశ్వాన్ని తనదిగా చూస్తాడు. అతని చైతన్యం ఇప్పుడు శివ చైతన్యానికి వాహనం అవుతుంది.

🌴. By fixing the mind on its core one can comprehend perceivable emptiness.🌴

When one is able to do this by looking within (looking within is the process of connecting his soul and his mind, both of them are available within his inner self), he not only looks within, but also looking at the entire universe as his own. His consciousness now becomes the vehicle of Shiva consciousness.

Consciousness is multidimensional. But, the individual consciousness is generally limited to one’s mind. If the mind is afflicted, his consciousness also gets afflicted and becomes impure. If the mind is controlled by will power, then it is not influenced by sensory perceptions. This is yet another factor of interdependency (interdependence of mind and consciousness) in His creation.

🍀. అస్తిత్వమంటే అన్నీ కలిసి వుండడమే. మనందరం మన వంతుగా అస్తిత్వానికి చెయ్యవలసింది చేస్తాం. మన కవసరమయినవి అస్తిత్వం మనకందిస్తుంది. 🍀

నువ్వు అనంతం లేనిదే ఉనికిలో వుండవు. నువ్వు లేకుంటే అనంతం కూడా వుండదు. అస్తిత్వానికి నీ అవసరముందని నువ్వు వుండడాన్ని బట్టే చెప్పవచ్చు. అట్లాగే అస్తిత్వములో నువ్వొక అవసరాన్ని నెరవేర్చడానికి వున్నావు. అందుకనే వచ్చావు. ఒక చిన్ని గడ్డిపోచ కూడా నక్షత్రంతో సమానమయిందే. రెంటి అవసరమూ వుంది.

అది అస్తిత్వ స్థితి. అక్కడ ఏదీ ఉన్నతమైంది కాదు, ఏదీ అల్పమైంది కాదు. ఎవరూ గొప్ప కాదు, ఎవరూ తక్కువ కాదు. అందరికీ సమప్రాధాన్యముంది. అస్తిత్వమంటే అన్నీ కలిసి వుండడమే. మనందరం మన వంతుగా అస్తిత్వానికి చెయ్యవలసింది చేస్తాం. మన కవసరమయినవి అస్తిత్వం మనకందిస్తుంది. ఒకసారి అహాన్ని వదిలిపెడితే ఏదీ దారి తప్పదు. ఎప్పటికీ పొరపాటు జరగదు. ప్రతిదీ దాని స్థానంలో సరిగానే వుంటుంది. అదే దేవుడికి అర్థం.

🌻 15. ఇష్ట దేవత 🌻

ధ్యానించే వస్తువు యొక్క ఎంపిక ఆధ్యాత్మిక జీవితం యొక్క ప్రారంభంలో ఒక ముఖ్యమైన అంశం. ఈ ఎంపిక శిష్యుడు గురువు నుండి పొందే దీక్ష. యోగాభ్యాసం యొక్క రహస్యాలలో దీక్ష అని పిలవబడేది ఇదే. ఆధ్యాత్మిక దీక్ష అంటే శిష్యునికి అప్పటి లక్ష్యానికి ప్రతిరూపమైన దైవానికి కానీ, వస్తువుకి కానీ ధ్యానం ద్వారా అనుసంధానమవ్వడం.

ఇది స్వతహాగా రహస్యం. గురువు దానిని శిష్యుడికి బోధిస్తారు. ధ్యానవస్తువు శిష్యుణ్ణి సంతృప్తి పరచాలి; అందుకే దీనిని 'ఇష్ట దేవత' అంటారు. 'ఇష్ట' అనేది కోరదగినది, అందమైనది, ఆకర్షణీయమైనది, అవసరమైనది, ఒకరి ప్రేమను మరియు ఒకరి మొత్తం జీవిని ఆకర్షించేది. దానికి శిష్యుడు తన స్వయాన్ని ఆర్పిస్తాడు.

🌻 15. The Ishta Devata 🌻

The choice of the object of meditation is an important aspect of the very beginning of spiritual life. This choice is the initiation that the disciple receives from the teacher. What is called initiation in the mysteries of the practice of yoga is nothing but the initiation of one’s spiritual being into the technique of tuning oneself to that particular deity, the form of God, or the object which is going to be one’s target at the present moment.

This is a secret by itself and the teacher will teach it to the disciple. The object of meditation should satisfy the student; that is why it is called ‘ishta devata’ (loved deity). The ‘ishta’ is that which is desirable, beautiful, attractive, required, that which attracts one’s love and one’s whole being. One pours one’s self into it.

హయగ్రీవుడుచెప్పెను: బ్రహ్మదేవా, ఇపుడు ఐదు ప్రదిష్ఠాంగములను చెప్పెదను. ప్రతిమ పురుషునికి ప్రతీకయైనచో పిండిక ప్రకృతికి ప్రతీకము. లేదా ప్రితమానా%ాయణస్వరూపము, పిండిక లక్ష్మీస్వరూపము. ఈ రెండింటి యోగమునే ప్రతిష్ఠ అందురు. అందుచే ఆయా ఫలములు కోరువారు ఆయాదేవతల ప్రతిష్ఠ చేయుదురు. ఆచార్యుడుదేవాలయము ఎదుట గర్భసూత్రము తొలగించి ఎనిమిది, లేదా పదునారు లేదా ఇరువది హస్తముల మండపము నిర్మింపవలెను.

ఎనిమిదిహస్తముల మండపము 'నిమ్నము', పదునారు హస్తములది 'మధ్యమము', ఇరువదిహస్తములది 'ఉత్తమము' మండపములో సగము భాగమును దేవతాస్నానమునకు, కలశస్థాపనకొరకు, యాగమునకు సంబంధించిన ద్రవ్యములను ఉంచుటకును కేటాయించవలెను. మిగిలిన సగముమండపములో, లేదా మూడవవంతు మండపములో సుందరమైన వేది ఏర్పరుపవలెను. దానిని పెద్ద పెద్ద కలశలతోడను, చిన్న చిన్న కలశతోడను, చాందనీలు మొదలైన వాటితోడను అలంకరింపవలెను. మండపములోపల పంచగవ్యములుచల్లి, శుద్ధిచేసి, అచట సామగ్రియంతయు ఉంచవలెను. పిమ్మట ఆచార్యుడు వస్త్రమాలాద్యంలంకృతుడై, విష్ణువును ధ్యానించి పూజింపవలెను.

🌻Five divisions of installation - 1 🌻


The Lord said:

1. I shall now describe the five divisions of an installation. The image is the embodiment of the supreme being, the real principle, the pedestal is the symbol of nature or the Goddess Lakṣmi. The installation is the union of the two.

2-3. Hence, the installation is done by men who desire to have their wishes fulfilled. The officiating priest (has to arrange) sheds (measuring) eight, sixteen or twenty (cubits) in front of the temple for bathing, the pitchers, and things required for the sacrifice by extending the side lines of the adytum.

4. The auspicious sacrificial platform should be made ready with one third (or) half (of the above space). It should be decked with pitchers big and small and canopies etc.

5. All the materials (to be used in the rite) should be cleansed with pañcagavya (the five things extracted from a cow). The priest should adorn (himself with ornaments). Having contemplated his own self as (lord) Viṣṇu, he should begin worship.

🌷. తాత్పర్యం :

పరబ్రహ్మము నెరిగిన బ్రహ్మవిదులు అగ్నిదేవుని ప్రభావమునందు, కాంతి యందు, పగటియందలి ఏదేని శుభఘడియ యందు, శుక్లపక్షమునందు లేక సూర్యుడు ఉత్తరముగా ప్రయాణించు ఉత్తరాయణ పుణ్యకాలమునందు ఈ జగమును వీడుట ద్వారా ఆ పరబ్రహ్మమును పొందుదురు.

🌷. భాష్యము :

అగ్ని, కాంతి, పగలు, శుక్లపక్షము అనువాటిని తెలిపినప్పుడు వానికి అధిష్టానదేవతలు కలరనియు, వారు ఆత్మ నిష్క్రమించుటకు తగిన ఏర్పాట్లు చేయుదురనియు మనము అవగతము చేసికొనవలెను. మరణ సమయమున మనస్సు జీవుని వేరొక జన్మను పొందునట్లుగా చేయును.

కాని పైన తెలుపబడిన సమయములందు యాదృచ్చికముగా గాని, ప్రయత్నపుర్వకముగా గాని దేహత్యాగము చేసిడివారు నిరాకార బ్రహ్మజ్యోతిని పొందగలరు.

యోగాభ్యాసమునందు నిష్ణాతులైన యోగులు తాము దేహత్యాగము చేసెడి స్థలమును మరియు సమయమును నిర్ణియించుకొనగలరుగాని ఇతరులకు అది సాధ్యము కాదు.

ఒకవేళ యాదృచ్చికముగా వారు ఆ పుణ్యఘడియలలో మరణించినచో జనన,మరణచక్రమున తిరిగి ప్రవేశింపరు. అట్లు కానిచో వారు తిరిగి జన్మను పొందక తప్పదు.

కాని కృష్ణభావనాయుతుడైన భక్తునకు శుభాశుభ సమయములందు దేహమును విడచినను, యాదృచ్చికముగా లేక పూర్వనిర్దేశ ప్రకారముగా దేహత్యాగము చేసినను వెనుకకు మరలివచ్చుట యనెడి భయము ఏమాత్రము ఉండదు.

🌷 Translation :

Those who know the Supreme Brahman attain that Supreme by passing away from the world during the influence of the fiery god, in the light, at an auspicious moment of the day, during the fortnight of the waxing moon, or during the six months when the sun travels in the north.

🌹 Purport :

When fire, light, day and the fortnight of the moon are mentioned, it is to be understood that over all of them there are various presiding deities who make arrangements for the passage of the soul.

At the time of death, the mind carries one on the path to a new life. If one leaves the body at the time designated above, either accidentally or by arrangement, it is possible for him to attain the impersonal brahma-jyotir.

Mystics who are advanced in yoga practice can arrange the time and place to leave the body.

Others have no control – if by accident they leave at an auspicious moment, then they will not return to the cycle of birth and death, but otherwise there is every possibility that they will have to return.

However, for the pure devotee in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, there is no fear of returning, whether he leaves the body at an auspicious or inauspicious moment, by accident or arrangement.
