*🌹 Purport : The thunderbolt, indeed a mighty weapon, represents Kṛṣṇa’s power. In Kṛṣṇaloka in the spiritual sky there are cows which can be milked at any time, and they give as much milk as one likes. Of course such cows do not exist in this material world, but there is mention of them in Kṛṣṇaloka. The Lord keeps many such cows, which are called surabhi. It is stated that the Lord is engaged in herding the surabhi cows. Kandarpa is the sex desire for presenting good sons; therefore Kandarpa is the representative of Kṛṣṇa. Sometimes sex is engaged in only for sense gratification; such sex does not represent Kṛṣṇa. But sex for the generation of good children is called Kandarpa and represents Kṛṣṇa.*

*ఈ భూతశుద్ధికి సంబంధించిన విశేషవివరణము వినుము. భూమండల స్వరూపము చతుష్కోణాకారము. దాని రంగు సువర్ణము వలె పచ్చగా ఉండును. అది కఠిన ముగ నుండుటయే గాక వజ్రచిహ్నముతోను, 'హాం' అను తన బీజముతోను కూడికొని యున్నది. దీనిలో 'నివృత్తి' అను కళ ఉన్నది. (శరీరమున పాదములు మొదలు మోకాళ్లవరకును భూమండల మున్నది.) ఈ విధమున పాదములు మొదలు శిరస్సువరకు శరీరమునందు పంచమహాభూతముల భావన చేయవలెను. ఈ విధముగ పంచగుణయుక్తము లగు వాయు - భూ మండలముల చింతకన చేయవలెను.*

''ప్రతిష్ఠా'' అను కల గలది. వామదేవ-తత్పురుషమంత్రములతో సంయుక్తమగు జలతత్త్వము నాలుగు గుణములతో కూడినది. దానిని ఈ విధముగ (మోకాళ్లు మొదలు పాదాల వరకు) చింతనము చేయుచు వహ్ని స్వరూపమునందు లీనముచేసి శోధన చేయవలెను. అగ్ని మండలము త్రికోణాకారము. రంగు ఎరుపు. (అది నాభినుండి హృదయమువరకును ఉండును). అది స్వస్తికచిహ్నయుక్తము. దానియందు 'హూం' బీజము అంకిత మై యుండును. అది విద్యాకలాస్వరూప మైనది. దాని మంత్రము అఘోరమంత్రము. ఇది మూడు గుణములతో కూడిన జలభూతము. ఈ విధముగ భావించి అగ్ని తత్త్వమును శోధించవలెను. వాయుమండలము షట్కోణాకారము (హృదయము మొదలు కనుబొమ్మలవరకును ఉండునది) అది ఆరు బిందువులచే చిహ్నితమైనది. రంగు నలుపు. 'హైం' బీజము తోడను, సద్యోజాతమంత్రముతోడను యుక్తమై యున్న అది శాంతికలాస్వరూపమైనది. దానిలో రెండు గుణములున్నవి. అది పృథ్వీభూతము. ఈ విధముగ భావన చేసి వాయుతత్త్వమును శోధింపవలెను.*

17. One should merge the earth, wind, water, fire and sky, one into the other without any deviation in the order. You hear about it now!
18. The principle of earth is hard, of yellowish colour and bears the mark of thunderbolt. Then its destruction is wrought by the subtle mantra of the soul (namely) hauṃ.
19. The entire body from foot to head should be contemplated as a four-sided figure, and the principle of wind should be meditated therein by five stretches of retention of breath.
20. This principle which has been established with the principal syllable hrīṃ should be contemplated as of half-crescent-shaped in a liquid state, white in colour, beautiful and impressed with (the figure of) the lotus.
21. The reverential principle of fire which is causeless and which is the end of men, should be purified by four stretches of retention of breath along with the Rāma mantra.
22. The orb of fire should be conceived as three-sided, red (in colour), marked with (the sign of) svastika and as the form of knowledge and endowed with the principal syllable hūṃ.
23. The principle of water should be purified by means of three stretches of awful minuteness. The orb of wind (principle) (should be conceived) as marked with six dots.
24. It should be meditated as composed of tranquility, black in colour and endowed with the principal syllable of hrīṃ (and purified) by two stretches (of retention of breath). The principle of earth should be purified.

These four letters give rise to six coverings that surround Śiva, blocking His inherent splendour to be perceived by nescient souls. The six coverings are kalā, vidyā, rāga, kāla, niyati and māyā. They are also known as kañuca. Kāla refers to time, a measurement of past, gives enjoyment of the present and contains what is in store for the future. Niyati is responsible in fixing the order and sequence of karma. While kalā induces action, vidyā is responsible for intelligence. Rāga is responsible for sensory perceptions and māyā is responsible for inducing doubt, ignorance and illusion.*
