*కాలకర్మగుణోపేతో జగదాదిరుపావిశత్॥*
*మహత్తత్త్వము, అహంకారము, పంచభూతములను ఏడు తత్త్వములను పరస్పరము కలియకుండును. దేనికదియే విడివిడిగా ఉండును. అప్పుడు జగత్తునకు కారణుడైన శ్రీమన్నారాయణుడు కాలము, అదృష్టము, సత్త్వాది త్రిగుణములతో గూడి వాటి యందు ప్రవేశించును.*
*ఇలా ఉన్న ఏడూ (మహత్తు అహంకారమూ పంచభూతాలు) సృష్టించబడి ఉన్నా ఒక ఆకారంగా ఏర్పడలేకపోయాయి. ఇంద్రియాలు, భూతాలు, వాటి గుణాలు, తన్మాత్రలు, అన్ని విడి విడిగా ఉన్నాయి. వీటిలో కొన్ని గ్రాహ్యములూ, ఇంకోటి గ్రాహకములూ. ఇంద్రియములు గ్రాహ్యములూ, గుణాలు గ్రాహకములు. తమలో తాము ఒకటై తమలో ఉన్న వాటిని గ్రహించి, "ఇది బాగుంది, ఇది బాగా లేదు" అని చెప్పడమే భోగము. అన్ని భోగాలకు మూలము శరీరము. అప్పుడు పరమాత్మ వీటన్నిటిలో ప్రవేశించాడు. ఒంటిగా ప్రవేశించకుండా, కాల కర్మ గుణములతో ప్రవేశించాడు. కర్మ అంటే మనము చేసుకున్న కర్మ, అదృష్టం. గుణము అంటే సత్వ రజో తమో గుణాలు.*
*బ్రహ్మాండములో ఉన్న అనంతకోటి జీవరాశులకూ ఆకారం చేయాలి. అందరినీ ఒకే ఆకారము చేయలేదు. దేవతలూ మానవులూ రాక్షసులూ పక్షులూ మొదలైన జీవాలు ఉన్నాయి. అన్ని ఇంద్రియాలు కలిపి ఒక ఆకారం చేయాలంటే ఒకే ఆకారం ఉండాలి. మరి, ఇంద్రియాలు ఒకటే ఐతే ఇన్ని ఆకారాలు ఎందుకు ఉన్నాయి. వాటి వాటి కర్మకనుగుణముగా, వాటిని అనుభవించడానికి అనువైన ఆకారముండాలి. అదే భోగాయతనం.*
*కాలమూ కర్మా అనే వాటి వలన ఇన్ని జీవులు ఉద్భవిస్తున్నాయి. ఏ ప్రాణికి ఏ పాపాన్ని ఏ ప్రాణికి ఏ పుణ్యాన్ని సరఫరా చేయాలో అలా చేస్తాడు. పరమాత్మ పరమాత్మగా రాలేదు, కాల కర్మములతో కలిసి ప్రవేశించాడు. ఇది వరకి జన్మలో వారు ఆచరించిన కర్మానుసారముగా భోగము అనుభవించడానికి తగిన ఆకారము ఇస్తాడు. కర్మ అంటే అదృష్టము. గుణము అంటే సత్వం రజస్సు తమస్సు. వారి వారి పాప పుణ్యాలకు ఏ ఏ గుణాలు ఉండాలో ఆ గుణాలకు తగిన శరీరాన్ని ఇస్తాడు.*
