🌷. భాష్యము :
*ఈ శ్లోకమును తప్పుగా అర్థము చేసికొనరాదు. దురాచారుడైనవాడు తన భక్తుడు కాలేడని భగవానుడు సప్తమాధ్యాయమున తెలిపియున్నాడు. అలాగుననే భగవద్భకుడు కానివానికి ఎట్టి శుభలక్షణములు ఉండవనియు మమమెరిగియున్నాము. అట్టి యెడ యాదృచ్చికముగా లేక ప్రయత్నపూర్వకముగా పాపమును ఒనరించినవాడు ఎట్లు భక్తుడగును? ఇటువంటి ప్రశ్న ఇచ్చట ఉదయించుట సహజమే. గీత యందలి సప్తమాధ్యాయమున పేర్కొనబడిన దుష్కృతులు (వారెన్నడును శ్రీకృష్ణుని భక్తియోగమునకు రారు) ఎటువంటి శుభలక్షణములను కలిగియుండరని శ్రీమద్భాగవతము నందు తెలుపబడినది. కాని భక్తుడైనవాడు అట్లుగాక నవవిధములైన భక్తిమార్గముల ద్వారా తన హృదయమాలిన్యమును తొలగించుకొన యత్నమున ఉన్నట్టివాడు.*
*అతడు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని సదా తన హృదయమునందే నిలిపియుండుటచే, అతని పాపములన్నియును సహజముగనే నశించిపోయియుండును. భగవానుని నిరంతర చింతన అతనిని పరమపవిత్రునిగ చేయును. ఉన్నతస్థితి నుండి పతనము చెందినవాడు పవిత్రతకై కొన్ని ప్రాయశ్చిత్తకర్మలను చేయవలెనని వేదానుసారము కొన్ని నియమములు కలవు. పవిత్రీకరణ విధానము భక్తుని హృదయమునందు ఇదివరకే నెలకొనియున్నందున అటువంటి పరిస్థితి భక్తియోగమునకు అన్యయింపదు. హృదయమునందు అతడు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని సదా స్మరించుటయే అందులకు కారణము. కనుకనే హరే కృష్ణ హరే కృష్ణ కృష్ణ కృష్ణ హరే హరే / హరే రామ హరే రామ రామ రామ హరే హరే యను దివ్యమాహామంత్ర జపకీర్తనలు నిలుపుదల లేకుండా సదా జరుగవలెను. అట్టి కార్యము భక్తుని సర్వవిధములైన యాదృచ్చిక పతనముల నుండి రక్షించును. ఆ విధముగా అతడు భౌతికసంపర్కము నుండి సదా ముక్తుడై యుండగలడు.*

*He quickly becomes righteous and attains lasting peace. O son of Kuntī, declare it boldly that My devotee never perishes.*
🌹 Purport :
*This should not be misunderstood. In the Seventh Chapter the Lord says that one who is engaged in mischievous activities cannot become a devotee of the Lord. One who is not a devotee of the Lord has no good qualifications whatsoever. The question remains, then, How can a person engaged in abominable activities – either by accident or by intention – be a pure devotee? This question may justly be raised. The miscreants, as stated in the Seventh Chapter, who never come to the devotional service of the Lord, have no good qualifications, as is stated in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. Generally, a devotee who is engaged in the nine kinds of devotional activities is engaged in the process of cleansing all material contamination from the heart. He puts the Supreme Personality of Godhead within his heart, and all sinful contaminations are naturally washed away.*
*Continuous thinking of the Supreme Lord makes him pure by nature. According to the Vedas, there is a certain regulation that if one falls down from his exalted position he has to undergo certain ritualistic processes to purify himself. But here there is no such condition, because the purifying process is already there in the heart of the devotee, due to his remembering the Supreme Personality of Godhead constantly. Therefore, the chanting of Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/ Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare should be continued without stoppage. This will protect a devotee from all accidental falldowns. He will thus remain perpetually free from all material contaminations.*

16. Having fed the preceptor and given the fees, the twice-borns should be fed. The book [i.e., pustaka] should be carried by men in a car, or on the elephant.
17. The book [i.e., pustaka] should be established and worshipped (on its return) in a house or temple. That which is wrapped up in a cloth should be worshipped at the commencement and end of reading.
18. Having resolved to have universal peace a chapter of the book should be read out. The yajamāna and others should be sprinkled with water from the pitcher.
19. The merit of presenting a book to the twice-born is. unlimited. Three things (are said to be) gifts par excellence. (They are) cows, land and knowledge.
20-21. O sinless one! the merits of imparting knowledge (is great). One who presents a bundle of written leaves, remains. and enjoys in the region of Viṣṇu for so many years as the number of leaves and letters (in the manuscript). One who gives away pañcarātra[2], purāṇas, bhārata (as gift) elevates twenty-one generations of his family and gets merged in the supreme being.

*It willed, or He willed: “May I have a second Self.” This is the origin of creation. The world, this creation, this universe is the second Self, as it were, of the Supreme Being. This ‘other’ Self, which is this vast creation, is animated by the Supreme Being Himself. It is ‘other’ in the sense that it had not all the characteristics of the Absolute. Yet, it is the Self. Though it is the ‘other’, it is also the Self. It is called the ‘Other Self’, inasmuch as the Selfhood of the Absolute is transparently present in this creation. The Universal Atman is immanent in the whole universe, in all aspects of creation; and yet the universe is an ‘otherness’, as it were, of God, an object of God.*
*It is as if the Universal ‘I’ is envisaging a universal object, including all that is visible or sensible—space, time and causal relation. A single Subject encountering a single Object is the state which is described in this passage, a Cosmic Consciousness becoming aware of a Cosmic Object in a peculiar manner, not in the way in which the ordinary individual is aware of an object outside. The way in which God is conscious of the universe, is different from the way in which an ordinary jiva, or individual, is conscious of an object.*
