🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
*కొందరు యోగులు వివిధ యజ్ఞముల ద్వారా దేవతలను లెస్సగా పూజింతురు. మరికొందరు పరబ్రహ్మమనెడి అగ్ని యందు హోమమును చేయుదురు.*
🌷. భాష్యము :
ఇంతకు పూర్వము వివిరించిన రీతి కృష్ణభక్తిభావనలో విధ్యుక్తధర్మ నిర్వాహణ యందు నియుక్తుడైనవాడు పూర్ణయోగి (ప్రథమశ్రేణి యోగి) యని పిలువబడును. కాని అటువంటి యజ్ఞములనే దేవతార్చనమునందు ఒనరించువారును కలరు. ఇంకొందరు పరబ్రహ్మమును లేదా భగవానుని నిరాకారతత్త్వమును ఉపాసింతురు. అనగా వివిధ తరగతులను బట్టి వివిధములైన యజ్ఞములు కలవని విదితమగుచున్నది. కాని వాస్తవమునకు వివిధకర్తలచే చేయబడు యజ్ఞములందలి వివిధవర్గములు కేవలము యజ్ఞము యొక్క బాహ్యవర్గీకరణము మాత్రమే.
ఏలయన యజ్ఞము యజ్ఞుడని పిలువబడు విష్ణుప్రీత్యర్థమే నిర్ణయింపబడియున్నది. కనుక వివిధములైన యజ్ఞములనన్నింటిని రెండు ప్రధాన తరగతులుగా విభజింపవచ్చును. ఒకటి లౌకికసంపదలను త్యాగము చేయుట కాగా రెండవది ఆధ్యాత్మికజ్ఞానప్రాప్తి కొరకు చేయబడునదై యున్నది. కృష్ణభక్తిభావన యందున్నవారు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని ప్రీత్యర్థము తమకున్నవన్నియును అర్పింపగా, అశాశ్వతసుఖమును గోరువారు ఇంద్రుడు, సూర్యుడు వంటి దేవతల ప్రీత్యర్థము తమకున్నవి అర్పింతురు. ఇతరులైన నిరాకారవాదులు (మాయావాదులు) నిరాకారబ్రహ్మమునందు లీనమగుట ద్వారా తమ వ్యక్తిత్త్వమును అర్పింతురు.
భౌతికజగత్తును పాలించుట మరియు దాని యందు అగ్ని, నీరు వెలుతురు వంటివి సమకూర్చుట కొరకు దేవదేవునిచే నియమింపబడిన శక్తిమంతులగు జీవులే వివిధ దేవతలు. భౌతికలాభమును కోరువారు అట్టి దేవతలను వేదకర్మకాండ ప్రకారము పలుయజ్ఞములు ద్వారా పూజింతురు. అట్టివారు “బహ్వీశ్వరవాదులు” (పలుదేవతలను విశ్వసించువార్) అని పిలువబడుదురు. కాని కొందరు దేవతారూపములను ఆశాశ్వతములని భావించి పరతత్త్వము యొక్క నిరాకారతత్త్వమును ఉపాసించుచు, బ్రహ్మాగ్ని యందు తమ వ్యక్తిత్వమును హుతము చేసి బ్రహ్మమునందు లీనమగుదురు.

🌷 Translation :
*Some yogīs perfectly worship the demigods by offering different sacrifices to them, and some offer sacrifices in the fire of the Supreme Brahman.*
🌹 Purport :
As described above, a person engaged in discharging duties in Kṛṣṇa consciousness is also called a perfect yogī or a first-class mystic. But there are others also, who perform similar sacrifices in the worship of demigods, and still others who sacrifice to the Supreme Brahman, or the impersonal feature of the Supreme Lord. So there are different kinds of sacrifices in terms of different categories.
Such different categories of sacrifice by different types of performers only superficially demark varieties of sacrifice. Factually sacrifice means to satisfy the Supreme Lord, Viṣṇu, who is also known as Yajña. All the different varieties of sacrifice can be placed within two primary divisions: namely, sacrifice of worldly possessions and sacrifice in pursuit of transcendental knowledge. Those who are in Kṛṣṇa consciousness sacrifice all material possessions for the satisfaction of the Supreme Lord, while others, who want some temporary material happiness, sacrifice their material possessions to satisfy demigods such as Indra, the sun-god, etc. And others, who are impersonalists, sacrifice their identity by merging into the existence of impersonal Brahman.
The demigods are powerful living entities appointed by the Supreme Lord for the maintenance and supervision of all material functions like the heating, watering and lighting of the universe. Those who are interested in material benefits worship the demigods by various sacrifices according to the Vedic rituals. They are called bahv-īśvara-vādī, or believers in many gods. But others, who worship the impersonal feature of the Absolute Truth and regard the forms of the demigods as temporary, sacrifice their individual selves in the supreme fire and thus end their individual existences by merging into the existence of the Supreme.

Nevertheless, the aspiring human individual involved in the shackle of body and mind has to pay some attention to what exactly is to be done while actually involved in this manner. The physical body has its material needs and the mind has its emotional calls. The working for moksha is also to take into account these lesser psychophysical requirements. The physical needs come under the realm of artha, including material possessions necessary for the survival of the physical body.*
*Food, clothing and shelter are the barest minimum necessary for the continuance of life. Everyone has the right to live, even as everyone has a duty to achieve ultimate freedom. Further, a phenomenon presented as a content of experience should be considered as real enough to call for concerted attention. That the body is not the soul does not preclude the necessity to pay due attention to the demands of the body, for even a phenomenon not finally real assumes a reality to the extent it is received and accepted into the constitution of consciousness.*

*అది ఎంత అనంత విశాలంలో భాగమవుతుందంటే దాన్ని కనిపెట్టడానికి వీలుపడదు. భయమల్లా అదే. అందుకనే మనమెప్పుడు సముద్రానికి దూరంగా వుంటాం. జీవితంలో అది గొప్ప రోజు. నువ్వు అనంతంలోకి దూకిన రోజు. అది మరణం కాదు. అది పునర్జన్మ. కాలం మరణిస్తుంది. శాశ్వతత్వం జన్మిస్తుంది. అల్పమైంది. నశిస్తుంది అనంతమైనది. ఆవిర్భవిస్తుంది. సూక్ష్మమైనది నశిస్తుంది. ఉన్నతమైనది ఆవిర్భవిస్తుంది. ఆ ప్రయత్నం విలువైంది.*
