శివునికి లోహితాక్షుడు అను నామము కలదు. అతను తపః స్వరూపుడు. అగ్ని స్వరూపుడు. అందువలన అతని కన్నులు ఎఱ్ఱ జీరతో నుండును. ఎఱ్ఱని కమలములు ఆయన కన్నులతో పోల్చ బడినవి. ఎఱ్ఱని ఆయన నయన కమలములకు తెల్లని చల్లని వెన్నెలను అందించునది శ్రీమాత. దానివలన శ్రీ శివునకు ఆహ్లాదము కలుగును. శివుడు తపస్వి అగుటచే అతనికి చల్లదనమును సమకూర్చుట తన ధర్మమని శ్రీమాత భావించునని కవి భావము.

స్త్రీ ఆహ్లాదమును కూర్చున దైనపుడు మాత్రమే పురుషుడు పరిపూర్ణ ఆనందమును పొందగలడు. చిట్టుబుట్టులాడు స్త్రీలు గృహశాంతిని, సంపదను హరించు చుందురు. స్త్రీలోకమునకు శ్రీమాత ఈ సందేశము ద్వారా పతివ్రతా ధర్మము నొకటి ఆవిష్కరించు చున్నది. ఈ కారణము గనే సీత, సావిత్రి, అనసూయ ఈ ధర్మమును పాటించిరి గనుక పతివ్రతలైరి. కార్తీక మాసము శివ తత్త్వమునకు ప్రతీక. అందలి వెన్నెల శ్రీమాతకు ప్రతీక.

Lord Shiva has the name Lohitaksha, the fiery eyed. He is the embodiment of penance. Embodiment of fire. So his eyes are red tinge in them. Red lotuses are compared to His eyes. Srimata is the one who gives the white and cold moonlight to the red lotus like eyes of the Lord. That will please Lord Shiva. The poet feels that Srimata thinks it is her dharma to provide coolness to Lord Shiva, the embodiment of the fires of penance.

It is only when the woman brings bliss can a man attain complete happiness. Disturbed women destroy domestic peace and wealth. Through this message, Sri Mata is innovating a virtue of Pativrata to the world of women. This is the reason why Sita, Savitri and Anasuya followed this dharma and became celibates. The month of Kartika is symbolic of Shiva Tattva. It's moonlight symbolizes Srimata.

🕉. పని మంచిదే కానీ అది వ్యసనంగా మారకూడదు. ఒక తాగుబోతు తనని తాను మరచి పోయినట్లుగా చాలా మంది తమ పనిని మత్తు మందుగా మార్చుకున్నారు. 🕉

🕉. Work is good, but it should not become an addiction. Many people have turned their work into a drug so that they can forget themselves in it just like a drunkard forgetting himself in alcohol. 🕉

One should be as capable of nondoing as of doing-then one is free. One should be capable of sitting, not doing anything, as perfectly and beautifully and blissfully as when one is working hard and doing many things; then one is flexible. There are two types of people: a few who are glued into their lethargy and at the other extreme, those who are glued into their occupation. Both are in prisons.

One should be capable of moving from one to another with no effort, effortlessly. Then you have a certain freedom, a certain grace and a spontaneity to your being. I am not against work, I am not against anything-but nothing should become an addiction. Otherwise, you are in a very very confused state. If work is an occupation and you are just hiding yourself in it, then it becomes a repetitive thing, a mechanical thing. Work becomes more like an obsession; you are possessed by a demon.

మిక్కిలి భయంకరాకారుడు, కంగారు లేనివాడు, ఆరు మోములవాడు, ఇంతటివాడు అని చెప్ప వీలుకానివాడు అగు ఆతడు వచ్చుచుండగా చూచి ఆ రాక్షసుడు దేవతలతో నిట్లనెను : ఈతడు శత్రుసంహారకుడగు కుమారుడు (13). ఏకైక వీరుడనగు నేను ఈతనితో యుద్ధమును చేసెదను. వీరులనందరినీ, మరియు సర్వగణములను, లోకపాలకులను, హరి మొదలగు నాయకులను సంహరించెదను (14). మహాబలుడగు ఆతడు అపుడు ఇట్లు పలికి యుద్ధము చేయుట కొరకు కుమారుని వైపునకు వెళ్లెను. ఆ తారకుడు మహాద్భుతమగు శక్తిని చేతబట్టి నిట్లనెను (15).

తారకుడిట్లు పలికెను -

మీరు నా యెదుటకు ఇప్పుడు కుమారుని ఎట్లు పంపగల్గితిరి? ఓ దేవతలారా! మీరు సిగ్గు లేనివారు. ఇంద్రవిష్ణువులు అసలేసిగ్గులేనివారు (16). వీరిద్దరు పర్వము వేదమార్గ విరుద్ద మగు కర్మను చేసినారు. నేను దానిని విశేషముగా వర్ణించెదను. వినుడు (17). వారిద్దరిలో విష్ణువు విశేషించి మోసగాడు, దోషి, వివేకము లేనివాడు. అతడు పూర్వము పాపమార్గములో మోసము చేసి బలిని బంధించినాడు (18). వేదమార్గ విహీనుడగు నాతడు పూర్వము మధుకైటభులను రాక్షసులను మోసముచే శిరస్సుల నపహరించి సంహరిచినాడు (19).

దేవదానవులు అమృతపానము చేసే సందర్భములో ఈతడు మోహినీరూపమును దాల్చి పంక్తి భేదమును చేసి వేదమార్గమును కళంకితము చేసినాడు (20). ఇతడు రాముడై స్త్రీని చంపి, వాలిని వధించి, మరియు బ్రాహ్మణుడగు రావణుని చంపి వైదిక నీతిని చెడగొట్టినాడు (21). ఈతడు స్వార్ధము కొరకు పాపియై ఏ పాపము నెరుంగని ఇల్లాలిని విడనాడి వేదమార్గమును ధ్వంసము చేసినాడు(22). ఇతడు పరశు రామావతారములో తన తల్లి యొక్క తలను నరకినాడు. ఈ దుష్టుడు గురుపుత్రుని అవమానించినాడు (23).

13. On seeing the incomprehensible six-headed deity coming forward, fierce and unagitated, the Asura spoke to the gods derisively—“O this child indeed will slay the enemies!”

14. I will fight with him single-handed. I will kill the soldiers, the Gaṇas and the guardians of the quarters led by Viṣṇu.

15. Saying thus, the powerful Asura rushed at Kumāra to fight with him. Tāraka seized his wonderful spear and spoke to the gods.


Tāraka said:—

16. “How is it that you all kept Kumāra face to face with me? You gods are shameless especially Indra and Viṣṇu.

17. Formerly, both of them had acted in violation of the Vedic path. Listen. I shall describe the same.

18. Viṣṇu is deceptive, defective and indiscreet. It was by him that Bali[1] was formerly bound by taking recourse to deception with sinful intention.

19. The Asuras Madhu and Kaiṭabha[2] were beheaded by his roguishness. He forsook the Vedic path.

20. When the gods and Asuras sat for drinking the nectar it was he who violated the sanctity of the vows when he assumed the form of an enchantress.[3] Thus he slighted the Vedic path.

21. Taking birth as Rama he killed a woman (Tāḍakā). Bālī’s death was brought about by him with a vile trick. A brahmin descendant of Viśravas was killed by him.[4] Thus he violated the injunction of the Śruti.

22. Sinful that he was, he forsook his own innocent wife. There too, he violated the path of Śruti for achieving his selfish end.

23. In his sixth incarnation (as Paraśurāma) [5] he cut off the head of his own mother. This wicked man insulted his own preceptor’s son.[6]

పిమ్మట శోషణాదుల ద్వారా దేహశుద్ధి చేసుకొనవలెను. పాదమునంచి శిఖవరకును దేహము 'యం' అను వాయుబీజముచే ఎండుపోయినట్లు భావన చయవలెను.

పిమ్మట 'రం' అను బీజము ద్వారా అగ్నిని ప్రకటించి సమస్తశరీరము అగ్నిజ్వాలలచే దగ్ధ మై భస్మ మైనట్లు భావన చేయవలెను. పిమ్మట 'వం' బిందువును ఉచ్చరించుచు బ్రహ్మరంధ్రమునుండి అమృతబిందువు ఆవిర్భవించినట్లు భావన చేయవలెను. దాని నుండి ప్రవహించిన అమృతధారచే శరీరము నంతను ముంచెత్తివేయవలెను.

పిమ్మట 'లం' అను బీజమును ఉచ్చరించుచు ఆ భస్మమునుండి దివ్యదేహము ఆవిర్భివించి నట్లు భావన చేయవలెను. ఈ విధముగ దివ్యదేహభావన చేసి అంగన్యాసకరన్యాసములు చేయవలెను. పిమ్మట మానసయాగానుష్ఠానము చేయవలెను. హృదయకమలముపై అంగదేవతాసహితు డగు మహావిష్ణువును నిలిపి, మానసికవుష్పాద్యుపచారములు చేయుచు, మూలమంత్రము లుచ్చరించుచు పూజింపవలెను.

ఆ భగవంతుడు భోగమోక్షముల నిచ్చువాడు. మానసిక పూజలను స్వీకరింపు మని భగవంతుని ఈ విధముగ ప్రార్థింపవలెను. ''దేవా! దేవాధిదేవా! కేశవా! నీకు స్వాగతము. నా సమీపమున సన్నిహితుడవై నేను అర్పించు మానసికపూజను కైకొనుము.'' పీఠము మధ్యభాగమునందు, యోగపీఠమును ధరించు ఆధారశక్తియైన కూర్మమును, అనంతుని, పృథివిని పూజింపవలెను.

ఆగ్నేయకోణము మొదలగు నాలుగు కోణములందును క్రమముగ ధర్మ-జ్ఞాన-వైరాగ్య-ఐశ్వర్యములను పూజింపవలెను. తూర్పమొదలగు ప్రధానదిక్కులందు అధర్మ-అజ్ఞాన-అవైరాగ్య-అనైశ్వర్యములను పూజింపవలెను. పీఠమధ్యమునందు సత్త్వాదిగుణత్రయమును, కమలమును, మాయను, అవిద్యను, కాలతత్త్వమును, సూర్యాదిమండలములను, పక్షిరా జైన గరుత్మంతుని పూజింపవలెను. పీఠము వాయవ్యకోణమునుండి ఈశాన్యకోణము వరకు గురుపంక్తిని పూజింపవలెను.

🌻 Mode of investiture of the sacred thread for the deity and the installation of the deity - 5 🌻

30-31. After having meditated upon the drop which has come out of the cavity of brain with the syllable raṃ and on the body covered by a garland of flames with the syllables yaṃ and vaṃ, one has to besmear the body with the ambrosia of ashes. Then with the syllable laṃ, it should be converted into a sacred body.

32. Having made the nyāsa[4] on the hand and body one has to do mental worship. Viṣṇu is adored with his retinue in the heart-lotus with mental flowers.

33. The lord of lords who yields enjoyment and liberation has to be worshipped with the principal mystic syllable. “O lord of gods, welcome to you. O Keśava! be present here.”

34. “Accept my excellent mental adoration properly.” Then the Tortoise, the supporting power, then Ananta and then the earth have to be worshipped.

35-36. The righteousness, un-righteousness etc. (have to be worshipped) in the middle of fire etc., the lotus in the middle of sattva (goodness) etc., the principle of time, the solar and other regions and the king of birds, in māyā (illusion) and avidyā (ignorance). Then (the deities) of the quarters commencing with north-west and ending with north-east as well as the line of preceptors.

21. యత్తత్సత్త్వగుణం స్వచ్ఛం శాన్తం భగవతః పదమ్
యదాహుర్వాసుదేవాఖ్యం చిత్తం తన్మహదాత్మకమ్

పరమాత్మ ప్రకృతిని క్షోభ కలిగించడం వలన పుట్టినది మహత్ తత్వం. సత్త్వగుణమయము, స్వచ్ఛము, శాంతము ఐనది. ఈ మహత్తత్త్వము భగవంతుని ఉపలబ్ధికి స్థానమైన చిత్తము. అధిభూతమైన ఈ మహత్తత్ప్వమే ఆధ్యాత్మికంగా చిత్తమనబడును. దీనికి అధిష్ఠాత క్షేత్రజ్ఞుడు, ఉపాస్య దేవత వాసుదేవుడు. అదే విధముగా అహంకారమునకు అధిష్ఠాత రుద్రుడు, ఉపాస్యదేవత సంకర్షణుడు. బుద్ధికి అధిష్ఠాత బ్రహ్మ, ఉపాస్యదేవత ప్రద్యుమ్నుడు. మనస్సునకు అధిష్ఠాత చంద్రుడు, ఉపాస్యదేవత అనిరుద్ధుడు.

తప్పుడు అహంకారం నుండి విముక్తి పొందాలంటే, సంకర్షణుడిని ఆరాధించాలి. సంకర్షణుడు శివునిచే కూడా పూజించబడతాడు; శివుని దేహాన్ని కప్పి ఉంచే పాములు సంకర్షణుని ప్రతిరూపాలు. శివుడు ఎల్లప్పుడూ సంకర్షణునిపై ధ్యానంలో ఉంటాడు. నిజానికి సంకర్షణుడి భక్తుడిగా శివుని ఆరాధించే వ్యక్తి తప్పుడు, భౌతిక అహం నుండి విముక్తి పొందగలడు. మానసిక రుగ్మతల నుండి విముక్తి పొందాలంటే అనిరుద్ధుడిని పూజించాలి. ఈ ప్రయోజనం కోసం, వేద సాహిత్యంలో చంద్ర గ్రహాన్ని ఆరాధించడం కూడా సూచించబడింది. అదే విధంగా, తమ మేధస్సులో స్థిరంగా ఉండాలంటే బ్రహ్మ ఆరాధన ద్వారా ఉన్నత స్థితిని చేరిన ప్రద్యుమ్నుని ఆరాధించాలి.

🌴 2. Fundamental Principles of Material Nature - 21 🌴

21. yat tat sattva-guṇaṁ svacchaṁ śāntaṁ bhagavataḥ padam
yad āhur vāsudevākhyaṁ cittaṁ tan mahad-ātmakam

The mode of goodness, which is the clear, sober status of understanding the Godhead and which is generally called vāsudeva, or consciousness, becomes manifest in the mahat-tattva. The vāsudeva manifestation is called pure goodness, or śuddha-sattva. Lord's expansion mentioned as the four Personalities of Godhead—Vāsudeva, Saṅkarṣaṇa, Pradyumna and Aniruddha. Here in the reappearance of the mahat-tattva the four expansions of Godhead occur.

In order to get release from the false ego, one has to worship Saṅkarṣaṇa. Saṅkarṣaṇa is also worshiped through Lord Śiva; the snakes which cover the body of Lord Śiva are representations of Saṅkarṣaṇa, and Lord Śiva is always absorbed in meditation upon Saṅkarṣaṇa. One who is actually a worshiper of Lord Śiva as a devotee of Saṅkarṣaṇa can be released from false, material ego. If one wants to get free from mental disturbances, one has to worship Aniruddha. For this purpose, worship of the moon planet is also recommended in the Vedic literature. Similarly, to be fixed in one's intelligence one has to worship Pradyumna, who is reached through the worship of Brahmā.

*21. యత్తత్సత్త్వగుణం స్వచ్ఛం శాన్తం భగవతః పదమ్*
*యదాహుర్వాసుదేవాఖ్యం చిత్తం తన్మహదాత్మకమ్*

*పరమాత్మ ప్రకృతిని క్షోభ కలిగించడం వలన పుట్టినది మహత్ తత్వం.  సత్త్వగుణమయము, స్వచ్ఛము, శాంతము ఐనది. ఈ మహత్తత్త్వము  భగవంతుని ఉపలబ్ధికి స్థానమైన చిత్తము. అధిభూతమైన ఈ మహత్తత్ప్వమే ఆధ్యాత్మికంగా చిత్తమనబడును. దీనికి అధిష్ఠాత క్షేత్రజ్ఞుడు, ఉపాస్య దేవత వాసుదేవుడు. అదే విధముగా అహంకారమునకు అధిష్ఠాత రుద్రుడు, ఉపాస్యదేవత సంకర్షణుడు. బుద్ధికి అధిష్ఠాత బ్రహ్మ, ఉపాస్యదేవత ప్రద్యుమ్నుడు. మనస్సునకు అధిష్ఠాత చంద్రుడు, ఉపాస్యదేవత అనిరుద్ధుడు.*

*తప్పుడు అహంకారం నుండి విముక్తి పొందాలంటే, సంకర్షణుడిని ఆరాధించాలి. సంకర్షణుడు శివునిచే కూడా పూజించబడతాడు; శివుని దేహాన్ని కప్పి ఉంచే పాములు సంకర్షణుని ప్రతిరూపాలు. శివుడు ఎల్లప్పుడూ సంకర్షణునిపై ధ్యానంలో ఉంటాడు. నిజానికి సంకర్షణుడి భక్తుడిగా శివుని ఆరాధించే వ్యక్తి తప్పుడు, భౌతిక అహం నుండి విముక్తి పొందగలడు. మానసిక రుగ్మతల నుండి విముక్తి పొందాలంటే అనిరుద్ధుడిని పూజించాలి. ఈ ప్రయోజనం కోసం, వేద సాహిత్యంలో చంద్ర గ్రహాన్ని ఆరాధించడం కూడా సూచించబడింది. అదే విధంగా, తమ మేధస్సులో స్థిరంగా ఉండాలంటే బ్రహ్మ ఆరాధన ద్వారా ఉన్నత స్థితిని చేరిన ప్రద్యుమ్నుని ఆరాధించాలి.*

*🌴 2. Fundamental Principles of Material Nature - 21 🌴*

*21. yat tat sattva-guṇaṁ svacchaṁ śāntaṁ bhagavataḥ padam*
*yad āhur vāsudevākhyaṁ cittaṁ tan mahad-ātmakam*

*The mode of goodness, which is the clear, sober status of understanding the Godhead and which is generally called vāsudeva, or consciousness, becomes manifest in the mahat-tattva. The vāsudeva manifestation is called pure goodness, or śuddha-sattva.  Lord's expansion mentioned as the four Personalities of Godhead—Vāsudeva, Saṅkarṣaṇa, Pradyumna and Aniruddha. Here in the reappearance of the mahat-tattva the four expansions of Godhead occur.*

*In order to get release from the false ego, one has to worship Saṅkarṣaṇa. Saṅkarṣaṇa is also worshiped through Lord Śiva; the snakes which cover the body of Lord Śiva are representations of Saṅkarṣaṇa, and Lord Śiva is always absorbed in meditation upon Saṅkarṣaṇa. One who is actually a worshiper of Lord Śiva as a devotee of Saṅkarṣaṇa can be released from false, material ego. If one wants to get free from mental disturbances, one has to worship Aniruddha. For this purpose, worship of the moon planet is also recommended in the Vedic literature. Similarly, to be fixed in one's intelligence one has to worship Pradyumna, who is reached through the worship of Brahmā.*

*🌻. పవిత్రారోపణ విధి -  శ్రీధర నిత్యపూజా విధానము - 5🌻*

పిమ్మట శోషణాదుల ద్వారా దేహశుద్ధి చేసుకొనవలెను. పాదమునంచి శిఖవరకును దేహము 'యం' అను వాయుబీజముచే ఎండుపోయినట్లు భావన చయవలెను.

పిమ్మట 'రం' అను బీజము ద్వారా అగ్నిని ప్రకటించి సమస్తశరీరము అగ్నిజ్వాలలచే దగ్ధ మై భస్మ మైనట్లు భావన చేయవలెను. పిమ్మట 'వం' బిందువును ఉచ్చరించుచు బ్రహ్మరంధ్రమునుండి అమృతబిందువు ఆవిర్భవించినట్లు భావన చేయవలెను. దాని నుండి ప్రవహించిన అమృతధారచే శరీరము నంతను ముంచెత్తివేయవలెను.

పిమ్మట 'లం' అను బీజమును ఉచ్చరించుచు ఆ భస్మమునుండి దివ్యదేహము ఆవిర్భివించి నట్లు భావన చేయవలెను. ఈ విధముగ దివ్యదేహభావన చేసి అంగన్యాసకరన్యాసములు చేయవలెను. పిమ్మట మానసయాగానుష్ఠానము చేయవలెను. హృదయకమలముపై అంగదేవతాసహితు డగు మహావిష్ణువును నిలిపి, మానసికవుష్పాద్యుపచారములు చేయుచు, మూలమంత్రము లుచ్చరించుచు పూజింపవలెను.

ఆ భగవంతుడు భోగమోక్షముల నిచ్చువాడు. మానసిక పూజలను స్వీకరింపు మని భగవంతుని ఈ విధముగ ప్రార్థింపవలెను. ''దేవా! దేవాధిదేవా! కేశవా! నీకు స్వాగతము. నా సమీపమున సన్నిహితుడవై నేను అర్పించు మానసికపూజను కైకొనుము.'' పీఠము మధ్యభాగమునందు, యోగపీఠమును ధరించు ఆధారశక్తియైన కూర్మమును, అనంతుని, పృథివిని పూజింపవలెను.

ఆగ్నేయకోణము మొదలగు నాలుగు కోణములందును క్రమముగ ధర్మ-జ్ఞాన-వైరాగ్య-ఐశ్వర్యములను పూజింపవలెను. తూర్పమొదలగు ప్రధానదిక్కులందు అధర్మ-అజ్ఞాన-అవైరాగ్య-అనైశ్వర్యములను పూజింపవలెను. పీఠమధ్యమునందు సత్త్వాదిగుణత్రయమును, కమలమును, మాయను, అవిద్యను, కాలతత్త్వమును, సూర్యాదిమండలములను, పక్షిరా జైన గరుత్మంతుని పూజింపవలెను. పీఠము వాయవ్యకోణమునుండి ఈశాన్యకోణము వరకు గురుపంక్తిని పూజింపవలెను.

*🌻 Mode of investiture of the sacred thread for the deity and the installation of the deity - 5 🌻*

30-31. After having meditated upon the drop which has come out of the cavity of brain with the syllable raṃ and on the body covered by a garland of flames with the syllables yaṃ and vaṃ, one has to besmear the body with the ambrosia of ashes. Then with the syllable laṃ, it should be converted into a sacred body.

32. Having made the nyāsa[4] on the hand and body one has to do mental worship. Viṣṇu is adored with his retinue in the heart-lotus with mental flowers.

33. The lord of lords who yields enjoyment and liberation has to be worshipped with the principal mystic syllable. “O lord of gods, welcome to you. O Keśava! be present here.”

34. “Accept my excellent mental adoration properly.” Then the Tortoise, the supporting power, then Ananta and then the earth have to be worshipped.

35-36. The righteousness, un-righteousness etc. (have to be worshipped) in the middle of fire etc., the lotus in the middle of sattva (goodness) etc., the principle of time, the solar and other regions and the king of birds, in māyā (illusion) and avidyā (ignorance). Then (the deities) of the quarters commencing with north-west and ending with north-east as well as the line of preceptors.

మిక్కిలి భయంకరాకారుడు, కంగారు లేనివాడు, ఆరు మోములవాడు, ఇంతటివాడు అని చెప్ప వీలుకానివాడు అగు ఆతడు వచ్చుచుండగా చూచి ఆ రాక్షసుడు దేవతలతో నిట్లనెను : ఈతడు శత్రుసంహారకుడగు కుమారుడు (13). ఏకైక వీరుడనగు నేను ఈతనితో యుద్ధమును చేసెదను. వీరులనందరినీ, మరియు సర్వగణములను, లోకపాలకులను, హరి మొదలగు నాయకులను సంహరించెదను (14). మహాబలుడగు ఆతడు అపుడు ఇట్లు పలికి యుద్ధము చేయుట కొరకు కుమారుని వైపునకు వెళ్లెను. ఆ తారకుడు మహాద్భుతమగు శక్తిని చేతబట్టి నిట్లనెను (15).

తారకుడిట్లు పలికెను -
మీరు నా యెదుటకు ఇప్పుడు కుమారుని ఎట్లు పంపగల్గితిరి? ఓ దేవతలారా! మీరు సిగ్గు లేనివారు. ఇంద్రవిష్ణువులు అసలేసిగ్గులేనివారు (16). వీరిద్దరు పర్వము వేదమార్గ విరుద్ద మగు కర్మను చేసినారు. నేను దానిని విశేషముగా వర్ణించెదను. వినుడు (17). వారిద్దరిలో విష్ణువు విశేషించి మోసగాడు, దోషి, వివేకము లేనివాడు. అతడు పూర్వము పాపమార్గములో మోసము చేసి బలిని బంధించినాడు (18). వేదమార్గ విహీనుడగు నాతడు పూర్వము మధుకైటభులను రాక్షసులను మోసముచే శిరస్సుల నపహరించి సంహరిచినాడు (19).

దేవదానవులు అమృతపానము చేసే సందర్భములో ఈతడు మోహినీరూపమును దాల్చి పంక్తి భేదమును చేసి వేదమార్గమును కళంకితము చేసినాడు (20). ఇతడు రాముడై స్త్రీని చంపి, వాలిని వధించి, మరియు బ్రాహ్మణుడగు రావణుని చంపి వైదిక నీతిని చెడగొట్టినాడు (21). ఈతడు స్వార్ధము కొరకు పాపియై ఏ పాపము నెరుంగని ఇల్లాలిని విడనాడి వేదమార్గమును ధ్వంసము చేసినాడు(22). ఇతడు పరశు రామావతారములో తన తల్లి యొక్క తలను నరకినాడు. ఈ దుష్టుడు గురుపుత్రుని అవమానించినాడు (23).

13. On seeing the incomprehensible six-headed deity coming forward, fierce and unagitated, the Asura spoke to the gods derisively—“O this child indeed will slay the enemies!”

14. I will fight with him single-handed. I will kill the soldiers, the Gaṇas and the guardians of the quarters led by Viṣṇu.

15. Saying thus, the powerful Asura rushed at Kumāra to fight with him. Tāraka seized his wonderful spear and spoke to the gods.

Tāraka said:—
16. “How is it that you all kept Kumāra face to face with me? You gods are shameless especially Indra and Viṣṇu.

17. Formerly, both of them had acted in violation of the Vedic path. Listen. I shall describe the same.

18. Viṣṇu is deceptive, defective and indiscreet. It was by him that Bali[1] was formerly bound by taking recourse to deception with sinful intention.

19. The Asuras Madhu and Kaiṭabha[2] were beheaded by his roguishness. He forsook the Vedic path.

20. When the gods and Asuras sat for drinking the nectar it was he who violated the sanctity of the vows when he assumed the form of an enchantress.[3] Thus he slighted the Vedic path.

21. Taking birth as Rama he killed a woman (Tāḍakā). Bālī’s death was brought about by him with a vile trick. A brahmin descendant of Viśravas was killed by him.[4] Thus he violated the injunction of the Śruti.

22. Sinful that he was, he forsook his own innocent wife. There too, he violated the path of Śruti for achieving his selfish end.

23. In his sixth incarnation (as Paraśurāma) [5] he cut off the head of his own mother. This wicked man insulted his own preceptor’s son.[6]

*🕉. పని మంచిదే కానీ అది వ్యసనంగా మారకూడదు. ఒక తాగుబోతు తనని తాను మరచి పోయినట్లుగా చాలా మంది తమ పనిని మత్తు మందుగా మార్చుకున్నారు. 🕉*

*🕉.  Work is good, but it should not become an addiction. Many people have turned their work into a drug so that they can forget themselves in it just like a drunkard forgetting himself in alcohol.  🕉*
 
*One should be as capable of nondoing as of doing-then one is free. One should be capable of sitting, not doing anything, as perfectly and beautifully and blissfully as when one is working hard and doing many things; then one is flexible. There are two types of people: a few who are glued into their lethargy and at the other extreme, those who are glued into their occupation. Both are in prisons.*

*One should be capable of moving from one to another with no effort, effortlessly. Then you have a certain freedom, a certain grace and a spontaneity to your being. I am not against work, I am not against anything-but nothing should become an addiction. Otherwise, you are in a very very confused state. If work is an occupation and you are just hiding yourself in it, then it becomes a repetitive thing, a mechanical thing.  Work becomes more like an obsession; you are possessed by a demon.*

*🌻 403. 'మహాకామేశ నయనా కుముదాహ్లాద కౌముదీ ' - 2 🌻*

*శివునికి లోహితాక్షుడు అను నామము కలదు. అతను తపః స్వరూపుడు. అగ్ని స్వరూపుడు. అందువలన అతని కన్నులు ఎఱ్ఱ జీరతో నుండును. ఎఱ్ఱని కమలములు ఆయన కన్నులతో పోల్చ బడినవి. ఎఱ్ఱని ఆయన నయన కమలములకు తెల్లని చల్లని వెన్నెలను అందించునది శ్రీమాత. దానివలన శ్రీ శివునకు ఆహ్లాదము కలుగును. శివుడు తపస్వి అగుటచే అతనికి చల్లదనమును సమకూర్చుట తన ధర్మమని శ్రీమాత భావించునని కవి భావము.*

*స్త్రీ ఆహ్లాదమును కూర్చున దైనపుడు మాత్రమే పురుషుడు పరిపూర్ణ ఆనందమును పొందగలడు. చిట్టుబుట్టులాడు స్త్రీలు గృహశాంతిని, సంపదను హరించు చుందురు. స్త్రీలోకమునకు శ్రీమాత ఈ సందేశము ద్వారా పతివ్రతా ధర్మము నొకటి ఆవిష్కరించు చున్నది. ఈ కారణము గనే సీత, సావిత్రి, అనసూయ ఈ ధర్మమును పాటించిరి గనుక పతివ్రతలైరి. కార్తీక మాసము శివ తత్త్వమునకు ప్రతీక. అందలి వెన్నెల శ్రీమాతకు ప్రతీక.*

*Lord Shiva has the name Lohitaksha, the fiery eyed. He is the embodiment of penance. Embodiment of fire. So his eyes are red tinge in them. Red lotuses are compared to His eyes. Srimata is the one who gives the white and cold moonlight to the red lotus like eyes of the Lord. That will please Lord Shiva. The poet feels that Srimata thinks it is her dharma to provide coolness to  Lord Shiva, the embodiment of the fires of penance.*

*It is only when the woman brings bliss can a man attain complete happiness. Disturbed women destroy domestic peace and wealth. Through this message, Sri Mata is innovating a virtue of Pativrata to the world of women. This is the reason why Sita, Savitri and Anasuya followed this dharma and became celibates. The month of Kartika is symbolic of Shiva Tattva. It's moonlight symbolizes Srimata.*
