*కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావన లేకుండా క్షణకాలమును జీవింపలేనివాడు శ్రవణము, కీర్తనము, స్మరణము, వందనము, అర్చనము, పాదపద్మ సేవనము, ఇతర సేవలను గూర్చుట, సఖ్యము, ఆత్మనివేదనముల ద్వారా భక్తియుక్తసేవ యందు నియుక్తుడై ఇరువదినాలుగు గంటలు శ్రీకృష్ణుని చింతించుట కన్నను అన్యమును కావింపడు. అట్టి కర్మలు సర్వమంగళదాయకములు మరియు ఆధ్యాత్మిక శక్తిపూర్ణములు. అవి ఆత్మానుభవమునందు భక్తుని పూర్ణుని కావింపగలదు. తద్ద్వారా శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని సాహచార్యము పొందుటయే అతని ఏకైక కోరిక కాగలదు. అట్టివాడు నిస్సందేహముగా ఆ భగవానుని ఎట్టి కష్టము లేకుండా చేరగలడు. వాస్తవమునకు ఇదియే యోగమనబడును.*
*భగవానుని కరుణచే అట్టి భక్తుడు ఎన్నడును ఈ భౌతికజీవనమునకు తిరిగిరాడు. ఈ శ్లోకమునందలి “క్షేమము” అను పదము శ్రీకృష్ణ భగవానుని కృపాపూర్ణరక్షణమును సూచించుచున్నది. అనగా యోగము ద్వారా కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావనను పొందుటకు భక్తునకు తోడ్పడు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు, అతడు సంపూర్ణ కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావితుడైన పిమ్మట దుఃఖభూయిష్టమైన బద్ధజీవనమునకు తిరిగి పతనము చెందకుండా రక్షణము నొసగును.*

*One who is unable to live for a moment without Kṛṣṇa consciousness cannot but think of Kṛṣṇa twenty-four hours a day, being engaged in devotional service by hearing, chanting, remembering, offering prayers, worshiping, serving the lotus feet of the Lord, rendering other services, cultivating friendship and surrendering fully to the Lord. Such activities are all auspicious and full of spiritual potencies, which make the devotee perfect in self-realization, so that his only desire is to achieve the association of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Such a devotee undoubtedly approaches the Lord without difficulty. This is called yoga.*
*By the mercy of the Lord, such a devotee never comes back to this material condition of life. Kṣema refers to the merciful protection of the Lord. The Lord helps the devotee to achieve Kṛṣṇa consciousness by yoga, and when he becomes fully Kṛṣṇa conscious the Lord protects him from falling down to a miserable conditioned life.*

*🌻Consecration of doors of the temple and the erection of banner - 2 🌻*
11. (That lord) who is the life of the temple should be contemplated (as) “O Lord of celestials”. Then a wise man has to imagine the temple as the god himself.
12. (A piece of) gold should be placed below the golden pitcher. The priests and others should be paid their fees and the brahmins should be fed.
13-14. Threads should be wound round the altar, neck, top and the globe of the temple after that. Then the metallic ring known as the sudarśana disc should be placed. It should be known as the form of (Lord) Vāsudeva offering protection from fear.
15. Alternatively a pitcher should be placed (in the place of a globe) and the disc above that. O birthless one! eight lords of obstacles (Vighneśvara) should be placed around the altar in the temple.
16. Or four images of Garuḍa (vehicle of Lord Viṣṇu) should be placed in the four quarters. I shall describe now the erection of the flagstaff which destroys the evil spirits.
17. One who performs this remains in the regions of Viṣṇu for so many thousands of years as the number of atoms in the image of the god in the temple.
18. O sinless! It should be known that (a man gets) a crore times more merit by erecting the flag-staff,since it surrounds the neck of the temple and it wafts the wind around the globe, altar and image.
19. The flag should be known as the prakṛti and the staff as the puruṣa and you know that the temple is another form of image of Vāsudeva (Viṣṇu).
20. (In a temple) the dharaṇī (earth) is so called from its ability to hold, its internal cavity stands for the sky, the illumination inside represents the fire, and its touch represents the wind.

*ఈ ప్రయోజనం కోసం, ధ్యానం లోకి సాధకుడు ప్రవేశిస్తాడు. ఇక్కడ చెప్పబడిన విషయం త్యాగ సంబంధమైనది. కాబట్టి ఇక్కడ ఆ ఉద్దేశానికి కర్మ సంబంధంగా అశ్వమేధ యాగం చెప్పబడింది. అశ్వమేధ యాగంలో భౌతికంగా ఒక యాగాశ్వం ఉన్నపటికీ, మానసిక తలంలో ఆ అశ్వం మన విశ్వంలో ఏ జీవి అయినా కావచ్చు.*

So, to come to the point, this distinction between the individual unit and the Universal Substance is to be abolished for the purpose of the removal of the sorrow of the individual. Meditation is the technique of the removal of sorrow in the sense that sorrow is caused by the segregation of the individual from the world outside.*
*For this purpose, one enters into the technique of meditation. *Citta is unconditioned self awareness as opposed to ahaṃkāra (ego) that is conditioned by self-concern. Mantra in this context does not merely refer to mantra-s. Mantra is the essential tool to connect individual consciousness with cosmic consciousness. The general purpose of mantra is to establish his awareness firmly with the concerned deity. But, in this aphorism, Śiva says that mind itself is mantra. As far as this sūtra is concerned, citta cannot be simply explained as mind. It is the modification of the mind where the stage of supreme consciousness is attained by focusing within.*
