*07.భక్తియోగో బహువిధో మార్గైర్భామిని భావ్యతే|*
*స్వభావగుణమార్గేణ పుంసాం భావో విభిద్యతే॥*
*తాత్పర్యము : శ్రీ భగవానుడిట్లు వచించెను - అమ్మా! స్వభావ గుణముల యందలి భేదముల వలన మానవుల భావములలో వైవిధ్యము ఉండును. కావున సాధకుల భావములను బట్టి భక్తియోగము గూడ పలు విధములుగా ఉండును.*
*వ్యాఖ్య : భక్తి యోగం బహు విధాలుగా ఉంటుంది ఎందుకంటే మార్గాలు చాలా ఉన్నాయి కాబట్టి, వారు అనుసరించే మార్గం బట్టి ఉంటుంది. భగవంతుని కూడా అందరూ ఒకే తీరుగా ఆరాధించరు. సత్వ రజో తమో గుణాల వారందరూ ఆరాధిస్తారు. తామస భక్తి కలవాడైతే ఆ భక్తి కూడా తామస భక్తి అవుతుంది. కానీ భక్తి తామసం కాదు. ఆ భక్తుడు తామసుడు. సత్వ రజో తమస్సు భావనలతో పురుషుల భావన కూడా భేధించ బడుతుంది.*

*MEANING : Lord Kapila, the Personality of Godhead, replied: O noble lady, there are multifarious paths of devotional service in terms of the different qualities of the executor.*
*PURPORT : A person who is distressed because of material conditions becomes a devotee of the Lord and approaches the Lord for mitigation of his distress. A person in need of money approaches the Lord to ask for some improvement in his monetary condition. Others, who are not in distress or in need of monetary assistance but are seeking knowledge in order to understand the Absolute Truth, also take to devotional service, and they inquire into the nature of the Supreme Lord. This is very nicely described in Bhagavad-gītā (BG 7.16). Actually the path of devotional service is one without a second, but according to the devotees' condition, devotional service appears in multifarious varieties, as will be nicely explained in the following verses.*

సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను -
సముద్రుడిట్లు పలుకుచుండగా తలను పలుమారు ఊపుచున్న బ్రహ్మను సముద్రపుత్రుడగు ఆ బాలకుడు కంఠమునందు పట్టుకొనెను (20). ఓ వ్యాసా! సర్వలోకములను సృష్టించిన విధి తలను ఊపుచుండగా ఆ బాలుడు కంఠమును బింగిచుటచే వ్యథను పొందెను. ఆయన నేత్రములనుండి నీరు ఉబికెను (21). చేతులతో కంఠమును పట్టుకొని యున్న మహాతేజశ్శాలియగు ఆ సముద్ర పుత్రుని పట్టునుండి బ్రహ్మ అతికష్టముపై విడిపించుకొని ఆదరముతో నిట్లు పలికెను (22).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పసలికెను -
ఓ సముద్రా! నీ ఈ కుమారుని ఆతకఫలమునంతనూ చెప్పెదను. మనస్సును ఏకాగ్రము చేసి నా మాటను శ్రద్ధగా వినుము (23). ఈతడు నా కన్నులనుండి జలమును రప్పించినాడు గాన ఈతనికి జలంధరుడను పేరు ప్రఖ్యాతమగుగాక! (24) ఈతడు యువకుడై ఆ వయస్సులోనే శాస్త్రార్థములనన్నిటినీ తరచి చూడగలడు. మహారాక్రమ శాలియగు ఈ ధీరుడు యుద్ధములో గర్వించి శత్రువులను దునుమాడగలడు (25). ఈతడు నీవలె గంభీరుడు, కుమారస్వామివలె యుద్దములో సర్వులను జయించువాడు, సర్వ సంపదలతో విరాజిల్లువాడు కాగలడు (26). ఈ బాలుడు రాక్షసులందరికి అధినాయకుడు కాలగలడు. విష్ణువును కూడ జయించగలడు. ఈతనికి ఎచట నైననూ పరాభవము కలుగబోదు (27). రుద్రుడు తప్ప ఈతనిని సర్వప్రాణులలో ఎవ్వరైననూ సంహరించజాలరు. ఈతడు ఏ రుద్రుని వలన పుట్టినాడో, ఆతని వలననే పరాజయమును పొందును (28). ఈతని భార్యపతివ్రత, సౌభాగ్యమును వర్ధిల్లజేయునది, సర్వాంగసుందరి, రమ్య, ప్రియమును పలుకునది, మరియు సచ్ఛీలమునకు పెన్నిధి కాలగలదు (29).

21. In due course tears came out of the eyes of Brahmā, the creator of all the worlds, afflicted by the joggling and jolting.
22. Brahmā somehow extricated himself from the grip of the son of the ocean by means of his hands and spoke to the ocean.
Brahmā said:—
23. “O ocean, listen, I shall narrate the future as predicted from the horoscope, entirely. Be attentive please.
24. Since he was able to make my eyes water let him be famous in the name of Jalandhara.
25-26. He will become a youth now itself. He will become a master of all sacred lores, very valorous, courageous, heroic, invincible and majestic like you. Like Kārttikeya he will be the conqueror of all in battles. He will shine with all sorts of prosperity.
27. This boy will become the emperor of Asuras. He will conquer even Viṣṇu. He will face defeat from no quarter.
28. He cannot be slain by any one except Śiva. He will return to the place from where he sprang up.
29. His wife will be a chaste lady who will increase gooḍ fortune. She will be exquisitely beautiful in every limb. She will be an ocean of good conduct and will speak pleasing words.

*07.భక్తియోగో బహువిధో మార్గైర్భామిని భావ్యతే|*
*స్వభావగుణమార్గేణ పుంసాం భావో విభిద్యతే॥*
*తాత్పర్యము : శ్రీ భగవానుడిట్లు వచించెను - అమ్మా! స్వభావ గుణముల యందలి భేదముల వలన మానవుల భావములలో వైవిధ్యము ఉండును. కావున సాధకుల భావములను బట్టి భక్తియోగము గూడ పలు విధములుగా ఉండును.*
*వ్యాఖ్య : భక్తి యోగం బహు విధాలుగా ఉంటుంది ఎందుకంటే మార్గాలు చాలా ఉన్నాయి కాబట్టి, వారు అనుసరించే మార్గం బట్టి ఉంటుంది. భగవంతుని కూడా అందరూ ఒకే తీరుగా ఆరాధించరు. సత్వ రజో తమో గుణాల వారందరూ ఆరాధిస్తారు. తామస భక్తి కలవాడైతే ఆ భక్తి కూడా తామస భక్తి అవుతుంది. కానీ భక్తి తామసం కాదు. ఆ భక్తుడు తామసుడు. సత్వ రజో తమస్సు భావనలతో పురుషుల భావన కూడా భేధించ బడుతుంది.*

*07. bhakti-yogo bahu-vidho mārgair bhāmini bhāvyate*
*svabhāva-guṇa-mārgeṇa puṁsāṁ bhāvo vibhidyate*
*MEANING : Lord Kapila, the Personality of Godhead, replied: O noble lady, there are multifarious paths of devotional service in terms of the different qualities of the executor.*
*PURPORT : A person who is distressed because of material conditions becomes a devotee of the Lord and approaches the Lord for mitigation of his distress. A person in need of money approaches the Lord to ask for some improvement in his monetary condition. Others, who are not in distress or in need of monetary assistance but are seeking knowledge in order to understand the Absolute Truth, also take to devotional service, and they inquire into the nature of the Supreme Lord. This is very nicely described in Bhagavad-gītā (BG 7.16). Actually the path of devotional service is one without a second, but according to the devotees' condition, devotional service appears in multifarious varieties, as will be nicely explained in the following verses.*

సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను -
సముద్రుడిట్లు పలుకుచుండగా తలను పలుమారు ఊపుచున్న బ్రహ్మను సముద్రపుత్రుడగు ఆ బాలకుడు కంఠమునందు పట్టుకొనెను (20). ఓ వ్యాసా! సర్వలోకములను సృష్టించిన విధి తలను ఊపుచుండగా ఆ బాలుడు కంఠమును బింగిచుటచే వ్యథను పొందెను. ఆయన నేత్రములనుండి నీరు ఉబికెను (21). చేతులతో కంఠమును పట్టుకొని యున్న మహాతేజశ్శాలియగు ఆ సముద్ర పుత్రుని పట్టునుండి బ్రహ్మ అతికష్టముపై విడిపించుకొని ఆదరముతో నిట్లు పలికెను (22).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పసలికెను -
ఓ సముద్రా! నీ ఈ కుమారుని ఆతకఫలమునంతనూ చెప్పెదను. మనస్సును ఏకాగ్రము చేసి నా మాటను శ్రద్ధగా వినుము (23). ఈతడు నా కన్నులనుండి జలమును రప్పించినాడు గాన ఈతనికి జలంధరుడను పేరు ప్రఖ్యాతమగుగాక! (24) ఈతడు యువకుడై ఆ వయస్సులోనే శాస్త్రార్థములనన్నిటినీ తరచి చూడగలడు. మహారాక్రమ శాలియగు ఈ ధీరుడు యుద్ధములో గర్వించి శత్రువులను దునుమాడగలడు (25). ఈతడు నీవలె గంభీరుడు, కుమారస్వామివలె యుద్దములో సర్వులను జయించువాడు, సర్వ సంపదలతో విరాజిల్లువాడు కాగలడు (26). ఈ బాలుడు రాక్షసులందరికి అధినాయకుడు కాలగలడు. విష్ణువును కూడ జయించగలడు. ఈతనికి ఎచట నైననూ పరాభవము కలుగబోదు (27). రుద్రుడు తప్ప ఈతనిని సర్వప్రాణులలో ఎవ్వరైననూ సంహరించజాలరు. ఈతడు ఏ రుద్రుని వలన పుట్టినాడో, ఆతని వలననే పరాజయమును పొందును (28). ఈతని భార్యపతివ్రత, సౌభాగ్యమును వర్ధిల్లజేయునది, సర్వాంగసుందరి, రమ్య, ప్రియమును పలుకునది, మరియు సచ్ఛీలమునకు పెన్నిధి కాలగలదు (29).

20. Even as the ocean said these words, the son of the ocean caught hold of the neck of Brahmā and shook it several times.
21. In due course tears came out of the eyes of Brahmā, the creator of all the worlds, afflicted by the joggling and jolting.
22. Brahmā somehow extricated himself from the grip of the son of the ocean by means of his hands and spoke to the ocean.
Brahmā said:—
23. “O ocean, listen, I shall narrate the future as predicted from the horoscope, entirely. Be attentive please.
24. Since he was able to make my eyes water let him be famous in the name of Jalandhara.
25-26. He will become a youth now itself. He will become a master of all sacred lores, very valorous, courageous, heroic, invincible and majestic like you. Like Kārttikeya he will be the conqueror of all in battles. He will shine with all sorts of prosperity.
27. This boy will become the emperor of Asuras. He will conquer even Viṣṇu. He will face defeat from no quarter.
28. He cannot be slain by any one except Śiva. He will return to the place from where he sprang up.
29. His wife will be a chaste lady who will increase gooḍ fortune. She will be exquisitely beautiful in every limb. She will be an ocean of good conduct and will speak pleasing words.

*Love should not be demanding; otherwise it loses wings, it cannot fly. It becomes rooted in the earth becomes very earthly; then it is lust and it brings great misery and great suffering. Love should not be conditional, one should not expect anything out of it. It should be for its own sake-not for any reward, not for any result. If there is some motive in it, again, your love cannot become the sky. It is confined to the motive; the motive becomes its definition, its boundary. Unmotivated love has no boundary: It is pure elation, exuberance, it is the fragrance of the heart.*

*07.భక్తియోగో బహువిధో మార్గైర్భామిని భావ్యతే|*
*స్వభావగుణమార్గేణ పుంసాం భావో విభిద్యతే॥*
*తాత్పర్యము : శ్రీ భగవానుడిట్లు వచించెను - అమ్మా! స్వభావ గుణముల యందలి భేదముల వలన మానవుల భావములలో వైవిధ్యము ఉండును. కావున సాధకుల భావములను బట్టి భక్తియోగము గూడ పలు విధములుగా ఉండును.*
*వ్యాఖ్య : భక్తి యోగం బహు విధాలుగా ఉంటుంది ఎందుకంటే మార్గాలు చాలా ఉన్నాయి కాబట్టి, వారు అనుసరించే మార్గం బట్టి ఉంటుంది. భగవంతుని కూడా అందరూ ఒకే తీరుగా ఆరాధించరు. సత్వ రజో తమో గుణాల వారందరూ ఆరాధిస్తారు. తామస భక్తి కలవాడైతే ఆ భక్తి కూడా తామస భక్తి అవుతుంది. కానీ భక్తి తామసం కాదు. ఆ భక్తుడు తామసుడు. సత్వ రజో తమస్సు భావనలతో పురుషుల భావన కూడా భేధించ బడుతుంది.*

*MEANING : Lord Kapila, the Personality of Godhead, replied: O noble lady, there are multifarious paths of devotional service in terms of the different qualities of the executor.*
*PURPORT : A person who is distressed because of material conditions becomes a devotee of the Lord and approaches the Lord for mitigation of his distress. A person in need of money approaches the Lord to ask for some improvement in his monetary condition. Others, who are not in distress or in need of monetary assistance but are seeking knowledge in order to understand the Absolute Truth, also take to devotional service, and they inquire into the nature of the Supreme Lord. This is very nicely described in Bhagavad-gītā (BG 7.16). Actually the path of devotional service is one without a second, but according to the devotees' condition, devotional service appears in multifarious varieties, as will be nicely explained in the following verses.*

సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను -
సముద్రుడిట్లు పలుకుచుండగా తలను పలుమారు ఊపుచున్న బ్రహ్మను సముద్రపుత్రుడగు ఆ బాలకుడు కంఠమునందు పట్టుకొనెను (20). ఓ వ్యాసా! సర్వలోకములను సృష్టించిన విధి తలను ఊపుచుండగా ఆ బాలుడు కంఠమును బింగిచుటచే వ్యథను పొందెను. ఆయన నేత్రములనుండి నీరు ఉబికెను (21). చేతులతో కంఠమును పట్టుకొని యున్న మహాతేజశ్శాలియగు ఆ సముద్ర పుత్రుని పట్టునుండి బ్రహ్మ అతికష్టముపై విడిపించుకొని ఆదరముతో నిట్లు పలికెను (22).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పసలికెను -
ఓ సముద్రా! నీ ఈ కుమారుని ఆతకఫలమునంతనూ చెప్పెదను. మనస్సును ఏకాగ్రము చేసి నా మాటను శ్రద్ధగా వినుము (23). ఈతడు నా కన్నులనుండి జలమును రప్పించినాడు గాన ఈతనికి జలంధరుడను పేరు ప్రఖ్యాతమగుగాక! (24) ఈతడు యువకుడై ఆ వయస్సులోనే శాస్త్రార్థములనన్నిటినీ తరచి చూడగలడు. మహారాక్రమ శాలియగు ఈ ధీరుడు యుద్ధములో గర్వించి శత్రువులను దునుమాడగలడు (25). ఈతడు నీవలె గంభీరుడు, కుమారస్వామివలె యుద్దములో సర్వులను జయించువాడు, సర్వ సంపదలతో విరాజిల్లువాడు కాగలడు (26). ఈ బాలుడు రాక్షసులందరికి అధినాయకుడు కాలగలడు. విష్ణువును కూడ జయించగలడు. ఈతనికి ఎచట నైననూ పరాభవము కలుగబోదు (27). రుద్రుడు తప్ప ఈతనిని సర్వప్రాణులలో ఎవ్వరైననూ సంహరించజాలరు. ఈతడు ఏ రుద్రుని వలన పుట్టినాడో, ఆతని వలననే పరాజయమును పొందును (28). ఈతని భార్యపతివ్రత, సౌభాగ్యమును వర్ధిల్లజేయునది, సర్వాంగసుందరి, రమ్య, ప్రియమును పలుకునది, మరియు సచ్ఛీలమునకు పెన్నిధి కాలగలదు (29).

Brahmā said:—
23. “O ocean, listen, I shall narrate the future as predicted from the horoscope, entirely. Be attentive please.
24. Since he was able to make my eyes water let him be famous in the name of Jalandhara.
25-26. He will become a youth now itself. He will become a master of all sacred lores, very valorous, courageous, heroic, invincible and majestic like you. Like Kārttikeya he will be the conqueror of all in battles. He will shine with all sorts of prosperity.
27. This boy will become the emperor of Asuras. He will conquer even Viṣṇu. He will face defeat from no quarter.
28. He cannot be slain by any one except Śiva. He will return to the place from where he sprang up.
29. His wife will be a chaste lady who will increase gooḍ fortune. She will be exquisitely beautiful in every limb. She will be an ocean of good conduct and will speak pleasing words.

*🕉 The world is an echoing place. If we throw anger, anger comes back; if we give love, love comes back. 🕉*
*Love should not be demanding; otherwise it loses wings, it cannot fly. It becomes rooted in the earth becomes very earthly; then it is lust and it brings great misery and great suffering. Love should not be conditional, one should not expect anything out of it. It should be for its own sake-not for any reward, not for any result. If there is some motive in it, again, your love cannot become the sky. It is confined to the motive; the motive becomes its definition, its boundary. Unmotivated love has no boundary: It is pure elation, exuberance, it is the fragrance of the heart.*
*And just because there is no desire for any result, it does not mean that results do not happen; they do, they happen a thousand fold, because whatever we give to the world comes back, it rebounds. The world is an echoing place. If we throw anger, anger comes back; if we give love, love comes back. But that is a natural phenomenon; one need not think about it. One can trust: It happens on its own. This is the law of karma: Whatever you sow, you reap; whatever you give, you receive. So there is no need to think about it, it is automatic. Hate, and you will be hated. Love, and you will be loved.*
