*🌻. కుండ నిర్మాణాగ్ని కార్యాది విధి -5 🌻*
ఆజ్యము చేత మూర్తినితృప్తిపరచవలెను. వదన అంశము అంగహోమము చేయవలెను. ఆజ్యము మొదలైనవాటితో లేదా తిలలతో గూడిన సమిధలతో మూరు లేదా వేయి హోమములు చేయవలెను.
హోమము అంతమునందు గల పూజను సమాప్తి చేసి ఉపవాస మున్న పవిత్రులైన శిష్యలను పిలచి, తన ఎందుట ఉంచుకొని, ఆ పశువులను అస్త్రమంత్రముచే ప్రోక్షించవలెను.
శిష్యులను విద్యాకర్మనిబంధనములచే తనలో కలుపుకొని, లింగ శరీరమును అనుసరించి ఉన్నదియు, లింగ శరీరముతో కూడా పాలింపబడినదియు అగు చైతన్యమును ధ్యానమార్గమున సంప్రోక్షించి, వాయుబీజములచే శుష్కింపచేయవలెను. పిమ్మట బ్రహ్మాండ మను పేరు గల ఈ సృష్టి యంతయు అగ్నిబీజముచే కాల్చివేయబడి భస్మరాశి వలె ఉన్నట్లుగా ధ్యానము చేయవలెను. ఆ భస్మము నీటితో ముంచెత్తవెలను. ప్రపంచ మంతయు జలమయముగా ఉన్నట్లు స్మరించవలెను.
పిమ్మట దానియందు పృథివాకార మైనదియు, బీజ మను పేరు గలదియు అగు శక్తిని ఉంచవలెను. సమస్తమైన తన్మాత్రలచే ఏర్పడినది, పృథివీవికారము, శుభమైనదియు, అఖండము, దాని (శక్తి) నుండి పుట్టినది. తత్స్వరూపమును అగు దాని ఆధారమునుధ్యానించవలెను. దాని మధ్యయందు ప్రణవరూపమైన పురుషమూర్తిని ధ్యానించవలెను. 48
పిమ్మట అండము ఒక సంవత్సరము పాటు ఉండి బ్రద్ధలైనట్లును అ ముక్కలు ద్యులోక పృథివీలోకములైనట్లును, వాటి మధ్య ప్రజాపతి జనించి నట్లును ధ్యానించవలెను. మరల చూచి, ఆ శిశువును ప్రణవముచే, పూర్వము చెప్పనట్లుగా న్యాసములు చేసి మంత్రాత్మక మగు శరీరము కలవానినిగా చేయవలెను. 50

*🌻 Mode of constructing the sacrificial pit and the oblations unto fire - 5 🌻*
41-42. One has to offer oblation with clarified butter to the deity and a tenth part to the limbs. (Having offered) oblations of clarified butter and other things hundred times or thousand times, or of the twigs or of the sesamum, and concluding the worship ending with the oblation and calling the disciples who are pure, and placing the fed beasts in front, (they are) sacrificed by means of weapons.
43-45. Having united the disciples with one’s own self with the fetters of knowledge and action and the consciousness which follows the liṅga[11] and which is protected along with the liṅga, having been consecrated by means of contemplation, (they) have to be purified by the syllables of Vāyu. Then the creation of the whole egg (the universe), consumed by the fire (and) reduced into a heap of fire is contemplated upon with the syllables of the Fire god. (Then one should sprinkle ashes on the water and meditate on the world.
46. Then one has to assign the creative power which is known as the seed of the earth and which is enveloped by all the subtle principles.
47. Then one has to meditate on the egg produced out of it, (which) is its base and identical with the self. Then one has to meditate on the form of the puruṣa (the Supreme Being) identical with the praṇava (the syllable Om) at its centre (centre of the egg).
48. The liṅga, situated in one’s self, (and) (which) has been purified earlier, is then to be transferred. Then the positions of the different important organs are to be thought of.
49. Then, having remained for one year, the egg is split. The heaven and earth (are placed) in a part. Prajāpati (the creator) (is placed) in between the parts.
50. Having meditated on his form and again having consecrated that child with the praṇava (syllable Om) and having made his body made up of the mystic formulae, (one has to do) the assignment (of limbs to different, deities) as described before.

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను--
ఓ మునీ! శివపత్నియగు పార్వతి ఇట్లు అగ్నిని శపించి వెంటనే దుఃఖముతో శివునితో గూడి తన గృహములోనికి వెళ్లెను (22). ఓ మహర్షీ! లోపలకు వెళ్లి పార్వతి శ్రద్ధతో శివునకు చక్కగా భజించి గణేశుడనే మరియొక పుత్రునకు జన్మనిచ్చెను (23).
ఓ మునీ!ఆ వృత్తాంతమునంతనూ ముందు ముందు వర్ణించగలను. ఇపుడు గుహుని జన్మను చెప్పెదను. ప్రీతితో వినుము (24). దేవతలు అగ్ని భుజించిన అన్నము మొదలగు వాటిని భుజించెదరు గదా! వేదవాక్కు అట్లు నిర్దేశించు చున్నది. ఆ దేవతలందరు గర్భమును ధరించిరి (25).
పార్వతి యొక్క శాపముచే భ్రష్టమైన బుద్ధులు గల విష్ణువు మొదలగు దేవలందరు ఆ తేజస్సును సహించ లేనివారై మిక్కిలి పీడితులైరి (26). అపుడు మోహమును పొందిన విష్ణువు మొదలగు దేవలందరు దహింపబడు చున్నవారై వెంటనే పార్వతీపతిని శరణుజొచ్చిరి (27). దేవతలందరు శివుని గృహద్వారము వద్దకు వెళ్లి వినయముతో చేతులు జోడించి పార్వతితో గూడియున్నశంభుని ప్రీతితో స్తుతించిరి (28).
దేవతలిట్లు పలికిరి--
ఓ దేవ దేవా! మహాదేవా! పార్వతీ పతీ! మహాప్రభూ! నాథా! మాకు ఇపుడేమైనది? నీ మాయా దాటశక్యము కానిది (29). మేము గర్భములను ధరించి యున్నాము. నీ తేజస్సు మమ్ములను దహించుచున్నది. ఓ శంభూ! దయను చూపుము. ఈ దశను తొలగించుము (30).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను--
ఓ మునీ! దేవతల ఈ స్తుతిని విని పార్వతీ పతి యగు పరమేశ్వరుడు వెంటనే దేవతలు నిలబడి యున్న ద్వారము వద్దకు వచ్చెను (31). ద్వారము వద్దకు వచ్చిన భక్తవల్సలుడగు శంకరునకు అచ్యుతునితో సహా సర్వదేవతలు ప్రణమిల్లి స్తుతించి ఆనందముతో నర్తించిరి (32).

Brahmā said:
22. After cursing the fire thus, O sage, Pārvatī, the daughter of the mountain, immediately returned to her apartment along with Śiva, dissatisfied that she was.
23. O great sage, after returning she persistently pleaded with Śiva and bore a son named Gaṇeśa.
24. O sage, the details of that story I shall narrate to you later on. Now listen to the story of the birth of Guha which I am going to narrate.
25. The gods are wont to partake of the offerings of food etc. consigned to the fire in accordance with the Vedic text. Hence the gods became pregnant.
26. Unable to endure the force of the semen they became afflicted. Viṣṇu and other gods had already lost their sense at the curse of Pārvatī.
27. Then Viṣṇu and other gods were overwhelmed and scorched. In this state they sought refuge in Śiva.
28. After reaching the threshold of Śivā’s apartment, the gods humbly eulogised Pārvatī and Śiva with pleasure and with palms joined in reverence.
The gods said:—
29. O lord of gods, O great lord, consort of Pārvatī, what has happened now? Your magical power is incapable of being transgressed.
30. We have become pregnant and also scorched by your semen. O Śiva, take pity on us. Remove our miserable plight.
Brahmā said:—
31. O sage, on hearing the eulogy of the gods, Śiva, the lord of Pārvatī came immediately to the threshold where the gods stood waiting.
32. The gods including Viṣṇu bowed humbly with great devotion and eulogised Śiva who is favourably disposed to His devotees, who came near the entrance.

*This nāma and the next one discuss about worshipping Her secretively. Secretive worship means worshipping Her internally without resorting to external rituals. Worshipping Her within is considered as a powerful tool to realize Her, as only Her subtlest forms can be worshipped within. Her subtlest form is Her kuṇḍalinī form. In sahasrāra or the crown cakra, She conjoins with Śiva and worshipping this Śiva-Śaktī union is considered as the secretive worship. Obviously, others cannot partake in this internal worship.*
*The internal worship, be it Her gross form, or Her subtler kāmakalā form or Her subtlest kuṇḍalinī form attains great importance. In the external rituals, the sādhaka or the practitioner is associated with actions. The concentration gets diverted and diffused from the focal point of the worship to the mundane form of the ritual. In the internal worship, the entire focus is fixed on Her and there are no distractions.*
