*28. ఇత్యేవం శైశవం భుక్త్వా దుఃఖం పౌగండమేవ చ|*
*అలబ్ధాభీప్సితోఽజ్ఞానాదిద్ధమన్యుః శుచార్పితః॥*
*తాత్పర్యము : ఈ విధముగా శిశువు శైశవ, పౌగండ వయస్సుల యందు కలిగెడి దుఃఖములను అనుభవించి, యౌవనదశకు చేరును. ఆ దశలో అభీష్టములు నెరవేరక, అతడు అజ్ఞాన వశమున అధికమైన కోపముతో శోకాకులుడు అగును.*
*వ్యాఖ్య : పుట్టినప్పటి నుంచి ఐదేళ్ల వయసు వచ్చే వరకు బాల్యం అంటారు. ఐదు సంవత్సరాల తర్వాత పదిహేనవ సంవత్సరం చివరి వరకు పౌగాండ అంటారు. పదహారేళ్ల వయసులో యవ్వనం ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. బాల్యంలోని బాధలు ఇప్పటికే వివరించబడ్డాయి, కానీ పిల్లవాడు బాల్యానికి చేరుకున్నప్పుడు అతను ఇష్టపడని పాఠశాలలో చేర్చబడ్డాడు. అతనికి ఆడాలని ఉంది, కానీ అతను బలవంతంగా పాఠశాలకు వెళ్లి చదువుకుంటాడు మరియు పరీక్షలలో ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించే బాధ్యత తీసుకుంటాడు. మరొక రకమైన బాధ ఏమిటంటే, అతను ఆడటానికి కొన్ని వస్తువులను పొందాలని కోరుకుంటాడు, కానీ పరిస్థితులు అతను వాటిని సాధించలేకపోవచ్చు మరియు తద్వారా అతను బాధకు గురవుతాడు మరియు బాధను అనుభవిస్తాడు. ఒక్క మాటలో చెప్పాలంటే, అతను తన చిన్నతనంలో కూడా సంతోషంగా ఉండడు. ఇక యవ్వనం గురించి ఏమి మాట్లాడాలి. వారు ఆడటానికి కృత్రిమ అవసరాన్ని సృష్టించడం సముచితమే, కానీ వారు సంతృప్తిని పొందనప్పుడు, కోపంతో రగిలి పోతారు మరియు ఫలితం బాధ కలిగిస్తుంది.*

*28. ity evaṁ śaiśavaṁ bhuktvā duḥkhaṁ paugaṇḍam eva ca*
*alabdhābhīpsito 'jñānād iddha-manyuḥ śucārpitaḥ*
*MEANING : In this way, the child passes through his childhood, suffering different kinds of distress, and attains boyhood. In boyhood also he suffers pain over desires to get things he can never achieve. And thus, due to ignorance, he becomes angry and sorry.*
*PURPORT : From birth to the end of five years of age is called childhood. After five years up to the end of the fifteenth year is called paugaṇḍa. At sixteen years of age, youth begins. The distresses of childhood are already explained, but when the child attains boyhood he is enrolled in a school which he does not like. He wants to play, but he is forced to go to school and study and take responsibility for passing examinations. Another kind of distress is that he wants to get some things with which to play, but circumstances may be such that he is not able to attain them, and he thus becomes aggrieved and feels pain. In one word, he is unhappy, even in his boyhood, just as he was unhappy in his childhood, what to speak of youth. Boys are apt to create so many artificial demands for playing, and when they do not attain satisfaction they become furious with anger, and the result is suffering.*

*ఒక సాధువు జీవితం ఒక ఆధ్యాత్మిక మహాభారతం. ప్రతి ఋషి లేదా సాధువు మహాభారత సంఘర్షణ యొక్క అన్ని దశలను దాటారు. ఎవ్వరూ చెప్పలేనంత కష్టాలు తీరకుండా గొప్ప సాధువుగా జీవించలేదు, పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహిస్తున్నాయనే భావనతో ఎవరూ ఈ లోకాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టలేదు. ఈ ప్రపంచం పట్ల కళ్ళు ముసుకోబోతున్న కళ్లకు సత్యం స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తుంది; బోధించబడని మనస్సు అది కానిదాన్ని సత్యమనుకుంటుంది. అందుకే, పట్టాభిషేకం యొక్క ఆనందంలో దాగి ఉన్న ప్రతికూల అంశం కారణంగా, రాజ పట్టాభిషేకం యొక్క వైభవం మరియు విజయం చెప్పలేని దుఃఖంతో ముగిసింది.*

*The life of a saint is a mystic Mahabharata itself. Every sage or saint has passed through all the stages of the Mahabharata conflict. No one lived as a great saint without passing through untold hardships, and no one ever left this world with the feeling that it is all milk and honey flowing. The truth of the world becomes evident to the eyes that are about to close to this world; the untutored mind takes it for what it is not. Hence, the glory of the royal coronation and success ended in untold grief, because of a negative aspect that was hidden in the joy of the coronation.*
*There was something lacking. It was a glory that was bestowed upon Yudhishthira by the power of people, like the ascent of a person to the throne of a ministry by the raising of hands of the vast public. But the hands can drop down tomorrow; they need not always be standing erect. There is always an unpredictable uncertainty about mob psychology, and therefore a dependent success cannot be called a success. If I have become great due to your goodness, that would not be real greatness, because your goodness can be withdrawn. If the greatness is at the mercy of another's opinion or power, it falls.*

*🌴. In the unified state of illuminated consciousness, the yogi becomes pure and resplendent just as Shiva 🌴*
*Śiva – Śiva; tulyo – similar; jāyate – becomes.*
*This sūtra conveys an important message. Such a yogi, at this stage has not merged with Śiva but appears like Śiva. The difference between merging with Śiva and appearing like Śiva is significant. Merger with Śiva happens only in the stage of kaivalya, the ultimate stage. Now, the yogi makes further spiritual progress and moves from turya to turyātīta, the fifth stage of consciousness. Turyātīta stage is beyond turya stage, where the first three stages of consciousness are totally dissolved.*
