*సప్తమహాఋషులు, వారికి పూర్వము సనకసనందనాదులు మరియు మనువురు నా మానసము నుండియే ఉద్భవించిరి. వివిధలోకములందలి సర్వజీవులు వారి నుండి జన్మించిరి.*

*ఇచ్చట శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు విశ్వజనము యొక్క వంశక్రమానుగత సారాంశమును వివరించుచున్నాడు. తొలుత ఆదిజీవుడైన బ్రహ్మదేవుడు హిరణ్యగర్భుడని తెలియబడు భగవానుని శక్తి నుండి ఉద్భవించెను. ఆ బ్రహ్మదేవుని నుండి తొలుత సనక, సనందన, సనాతన, సనత్కుమారులును, మనువులును, ఆ తరువాత సప్తఋషులును ఉద్భవించిరి. ఈ ఇరువదియైదుమంది ఋషులు విశ్వమునందలి జీవులందరికి ప్రజాపతులుగా ప్రసిద్ధినొందిరి. అసంఖ్యాకములుగా నున్నటువంటి విశ్వములలో అసంఖ్యాక లోకములు కలవు. ఆ లోకములన్నియును వివధజనులతో నిండియున్నవి. వారందరును ఆ ఇరువదియైదుగురు ప్రజాపతుల నుండియే జన్మించిరి. శ్రీకృష్ణుని కరుణచే విశ్వమును సృష్టించు జ్ఞానమును పొందుటకు పూర్వము బ్రహ్మదేవుడు వేయి దేవతాసంవత్సరములు తపమాచరించియుండెను. తదుపరి బ్రహ్మ నుండి సనక, సనందన, సనాత్కుమారులును, ఆపై రుద్రుడును మరియు సప్తఋషులును ఉదయించిరి. ఈ విధముగా బ్రహ్మణులు మరియు క్షత్రియులు మొదలైన వారందరు భగవానుని శక్తి నుండి ఉద్భవించినట్టివారు. కనుకనే బ్రహ్మదేవుడు పితామహునిగను మరియు అతనికి తండ్రియైన శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ప్రపితామహునిగను తెలియబడినారు. ఈ విషయము భగవద్గీత (11.39) యందలి ఏకాదశాధ్యాయమున తెలుపబడినది. ఇచ్చట శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు విశ్వజనము యొక్క వంశక్రమానుగత సారాంశమును వివరించుచున్నాడు.*

*The seven great sages and before them the four other great sages and the Manus [progenitors of mankind] come from Me, born from My mind, and all the living beings populating the various planets descend from them.*
🌹 Purport :
*The Lord is giving a genealogical synopsis of the universal population. Brahmā is the original creature born out of the energy of the Supreme Lord, who is known as Hiraṇyagarbha. And from Brahmā all the seven great sages, and before them four other great sages, named Sanaka, Sananda, Sanātana and Sanat-kumāra, and the fourteen Manus, are manifested. All these twenty-five great sages are known as the patriarchs of the living entities all over the universe. There are innumerable universes and innumerable planets within each universe, and each planet is full of population of different varieties.*
*All of them are born of these twenty-five patriarchs. Brahmā underwent penance for one thousand years of the demigods before he realized by the grace of Kṛṣṇa how to create. Then from Brahmā came Sanaka, Sananda, Sanātana and Sanat-kumāra, then Rudra, and then the seven sages, and in this way all the brāhmaṇas and kṣatriyas are born out of the energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Brahmā is known as Pitāmaha, the grandfather, and Kṛṣṇa is known as Prapitāmaha, the father of the grandfather. That is stated in the Eleventh Chapter of the Bhagavad-gītā (11.39).*

*హయగ్రీవుడు పలికెను. - ఇపుడు దేవసముదాయ ప్రతిష్ఠను గూర్చి చెప్పదను. ఇది కూడ వాసుదేవ ప్రతిష్ఠ వలెనే చేయవలెను. ఆదిత్య - వసు - రుద్ర - సాధ్య - విశ్వదేవ - అశ్వినీ కుమార - ఋషి - ఇతర దేవగణములకు దేవసముదాయ మని పేరు. వీరి స్థాపనలో నున్న విశేషములు చెప్పెదను. అయా దేవతల పేర్లలోని మొదటి అక్షరము గ్రహించి దానికి స్వరములు చేర్చవలెను. దీర్ఘ స్వరములతో కూడిన ఆ బీజాక్షరములతో అంగ న్యాసము చేయవలెను. ఆ ప్రథమాక్షరమునకు బిందువు, చేర్చి బీజముగ గ్రహింపవలెను. ప్రణవనమస్కారములు చేర్చవలెను. సమస్తదేవతలను మూలమంత్రముతోడనే పూజించి స్థాపింపవలెను. ఇవి కాక, స్థాపనావిషయమున ఆవలంబింపవలసిన నియమములను, వ్రతములను, కృచ్ఛృములను. మఠ-సేత-గృహాదులను-మాసోపవాస-ద్వాదశీవ్రతాదులను చెప్పెదను.*
*ముందుగా శిలా-పూర్ణకుంభ-కాంస్య పాత్రలు తీసికొని వచ్చి ఉంచవలెను. పిమ్మట సాధకుడు బ్రహ్మకూర్చ గైకొని ''తద్విష్ణోఃపరమం పదమ్‌'' అను మంత్రముతో కపిలగోవుపాలతో యవచరువును వండవలెను. ఓం కారముతో దానిలో నేయిపోసి, గరటితో ఎనపవలెను. పిదప శ్రీవిష్ణు పూజ చేసి హోమము చేయవెలను. వ్యాహృతి గాయత్రులతో కూడిన ''తద్విప్రాసో'' ఇత్యాదిమంత్రముతో చరుహోమము చేయవలెను. ''విశ్వతశ్చక్షుః'' ఇత్యాది వైదిక మంత్రముతో భూమి-అగ్ని-సూర్య-ప్రజాపతి-అన్తరిక్ష-ద్యౌ-బ్రహ్మన్‌- పృథ్వీ-కుబేర-సోమశబ్దములను చతుర్థ్యంతములు చేసి, వాటికి ''స్వాహా''చేర్చి, ఆ దేవతల నుద్దేశించి ఆహుతు లీయవలెను, ఇంద్రాది దేవతలవకు ఆ దేవతలకు సంబంధించిన మంత్రములు చదువుచు ఆహుతు లివ్వవలెను. చరు భాగములను ఈ విధముగ హోమము చేసి ఆదర పూర్వకముగ దిగ్బలు లీయవలెను.*

*🌻Mode of consecration of other gods (sādhāraṇa-pratiṣṭhā) - 1 🌻*
The Lord said:
1-2. I shall describe the mode of consecration (of images) of all gods—the Ādityas (the suns, twelve in number), Vasus (eight), Rudrāḥ [=Rudra] (eleven), Sādhyāḥ [=Sādhya], Viśvedevāḥ [=Viśvedeva], Aśvins and the sages etc. It is like (the consecration of the image of) Vāsudeva. I shall describe special features (of ceremonies). The first letter of the name of particular deity should be taken.
3. It should be split into syllables. The longer vowels should be split. The mystical letter (of the deity) is first formed by adding a nasal and the praṇava.
4. (The images of) all gods as well as those who had led a disciplined life and had observed austerities and atonements and those who had lived in the monasteries should be worshipped and installed with their respective principal mantra.
5. I shall describe the mode of fasting for a month and that which concludes on the twelfth day (of a fortnight). One should place a stone slab and pitchers made of bell metal filled with the articles (described earlier).
6. After having collected the brahmakūrca (grass), the worshipper should prepare the gruel made of barley and milk of tawny (coloured) cow with (the mantra) tadviṣṇoḥ.[1]
7. It should be stirred with the ladle holding it with (the recitation of) praṇava (oṃ). Having got it ready and bringing it down lord Viṣṇu should be worshipped and the offering made.
8. The oblation should be done with the vyāhṛti (bhūḥ, bhuvaḥ, svaḥ), the vedic mantras such as gāyatrī[2] (mantra), tadviprāsa[3], viśvataścakṣuḥ[4] and bhūragnaye[5].
9. Oblations should be given to Sūrya, Prajāpati (the creator), (the lord of) the ethereal region. Oblation to sky! Oblations to Brahman! (Oblations should be given upto) the earth and the great king.
10. Oblations should be done with (the mantras) tasmai, somaṃ ca, rājānamidam. Having offered the remaining part of the gruel as oblation, digbali (offerings to the quarters) should be done with due respect.

*మనం విషయాల యొక్క విశ్వ జనీయతను అర్థం చేసుకున్నప్పుడు, ఇంద్రియాలు ఇప్పుడు మన వ్యక్తిగత సందర్భాలలో ఉన్నట్లు కేవలం ప్రభావం చెందేవిగా కాకుండా ఒక విషయానికి నాంది, కారణాలుగా మారతాయి. దీనిని అర్థం చేసుకోవడం కష్టం. కానీ, ఒకసారి దానిని గ్రహించిన తర్వాత, అన్ని భయాలు ఒక క్షణంలో మాయమవుతాయి, ఎందుకంటే భయం వస్తువులపై ఆధారపడటం వలన వస్తుంది. స్వాతంత్ర్యం అనేది వ్యక్తిగత చైతన్యాన్ని విశ్వ చైతన్యంగా మార్చిన తక్షణం వస్తుంది. అది ఉపనిషత్తు చెప్పిన నిజమైన ధ్యానం.*
*ఈ అధ్యాయం యొక్క ముఖ్య అంశం అయిన ఈ హిరణ్యగర్భంపై ధ్యానం, ఇంద్రియాల శుద్ధీకరణకు, ప్రభావితం చెందడం నుంచి ప్రభావం చూపించేవిగా వాటిలో వచ్చే మార్పుకు కారణం అవుతుంది. ఇది ప్రభావాన్ని పూర్తిగా కారణంగా మారుస్తుంది, తద్వారా వాక్కు అగ్నిగా మారుతుంది, ప్రభావం అవుతుంది. వాస్తవికత యొక్క ఉనికిలో అగ్ని దాని సరైన స్థానాన్ని కనుగొంటుంది. కౌరవుల ఆస్థానంలో శ్రీ కృష్ణుడు తన విశ్వరూపాన్ని చూపించినపుడు, నోరు తెరవగా, అతని నోటి నుండి అగ్ని వచ్చినట్లు చెబుతారు. మరియు, ఉపనిషత్తులో కూడా, ఈ వాస్తవానికి సంబంధించిన సూచనలు మనకు కనిపిస్తాయి.*

*🌻 30. Sri Krishna Opened His Mouth, and Fire Came Out of It 🌻*
*When we contemplate the Universal Subjectivity of things, the sense organs become causes rather than effects, not as they are now in our individual cases. What this contemplation means is a hard thing to grasp. But, once it is grasped, all fear vanishes in a moment, because fear is due to dependence on things, and independence is assumed the moment this art of transmuting individual consciousness to the Universal Reality is gained. That is real meditation, in the light of the Upanishad.*
*And this contemplation, this meditation on Hiranyagarbha, which is actually the subject of this chapter and which is the reason behind the purification of the senses and their overcoming death, completely converts the effect into the cause, so that speech becomes Fire, the effect becomes the cause, and Fire finds its proper place in the Being of Reality. When Sri Krishna opened up His Cosmic Form in the court of the Kauravas, it is said that the mouth opened, and Fire came out of His mouth. And, in the Upanishad also, we find references to this fact.*

*🍀. మనసు ఎప్పుడూ శరీరంలో కానీ, ఆత్మలో కానీ భాగం కాలేదు. మనసులో కొంత చీకటి, కొంత వెలుతురు వుంటుంది. అందువల్ల మనసెప్పుడూ ఆందోళనలో వుంటుంది. 🍀*
*శరీరం చీకటిని, ఆత్మ వెలుగును కలిగి వుంటాయి. ఈ చీకటి వెలుగులు ఎక్కడ కలుస్తాయి? అవి మనసులో కలుస్తాయి. అది వాటి సరిహద్దు. కాబట్టి మనసులో కొంత చీకటి, కొంత వెలుతురు వుంటుంది. అందువల్ల మనసెప్పుడూ ఆందోళనలో వుంటుంది. కారణం వ్యతిరేక దిశల్లోకి అది లాగబడుతూ వుంటుంది.*
*శరీరం తన వేపుకు లాగుతుంది. ఆత్మ తన వేపుకు లాగుతుంది. ఆ రెండూ సమాన అయిస్కాంత కేంద్రాలు. అందువల్ల మనసు మధ్యలో వేలాడుతూ వుంటుంది. ఒకోసారి అది శరీరాన్ని ఎన్నుకుంటుంది. ఒకోసారి ఆత్మను ఎన్నుకుంటుంది. అది దేన్ని ఎన్నుకున్నా పొరపాటు అన్న భావనలో వుంటుంది. కారణం యింకోదాన్ని అది కోల్పోతుంది.*

*వామేశ్వరి తనకు శివుడు అందించిన నాలుగు ప్రత్యేక శక్తుల ద్వారా విశ్వ సృష్టికి కారణమవుతుంది. అవి ఖెచరి, గోకారి, దిక్కరి మరియు భుకారి. ఈ శక్తులు స్వయం మీద పని చేస్తాయి. ఆ స్వయంలో అంతఃకరణ అని పిలువబడే అంతర్గత సాధనాలు, (మనస్సు, బుద్ధి, చిత్త అహంకారాలు- అన్నీ వ్యక్తిగత స్థాయిలో), బాహ్య ఇంద్రియ అవయవాలు మరియు బాహ్య వస్తువులపై పనిచేస్తాయి. ఈ నాలుగింటిని శక్తిచక్రం అంటారు. ఈ నాలుగింటిలో, ఖేచరీ ఈ సూత్రంలో ప్రస్తావించబడింది. ఖేచరీ అనేది శివ స్థితి, ఇది చైతన్యం యొక్క అత్యున్నత స్థాయి, స్వచ్ఛమైనది, కలుషితం లేనిది, బాధించబడనిది మరియు స్వయం ప్రకాశించేది, దాని నుండి మాత్రమే శక్తి విశ్వం ఉద్భవించేలా చేస్తుంది.*

*🌴. The pure knowledge of God consciousness effortlessly rises and this state of Śiva is realized as one with the state of khecarī. 🌴*
*Vāmeśvarī causes the creation of the universe through four of Her exclusive powers, given to Her by Śiva. They are kecarī, gocarī, dikcarī and bhucarī. These powers operate on the sphere of empirical Self, internal tools known as antaḥkaraṇa (mind, intellect, consciousness and ego – all at the individual level), the external organs (sensory organs) and external objects. These four together are called śaktī cakra. Out this four, kecarī is referred in this sūtra. Kecarī is the state of Śiva, which is the highest level of consciousness, pure, unpolluted, un-afflicted and above all Self-illuminating, from which alone Śaktī causes the universe to emerge.*
