మేన ఇట్లు పలికెను -
ఓ దయానిధీ! నీవు దయచేసి పార్వతిని చక్కగా పాలించుము. తేలికగా సంతసించు నీవు ఆపార్వతి యొక్క వేయి దోషములను క్షమించుము (30). నా కుమార్తె జన్మ జన్మల యందు నీ పాదపద్మములపై భక్తి కలిగి యుండెను. ఆమె తెలివిగా ఉన్ననూ, కలగన్ననూ ఆమె స్మృతిలో మహాదేవ ప్రభుడు లేని కాలము లేదు (31). ఆమె నీ భక్తి గురించి విన్నంత మాత్రాన ఆనందముతో కన్నీరు గార్చెడిది. శరీరము గగుర్పొడిచెడిది. ఓ మృత్యుంజయా ! నిన్ను నిందించినచో ఆమె మరణించిన దానివలె మౌనముగ నుండెడిది (32).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-
మేనక ఇట్లు పలికి అపుడు తన కుమార్తెను ఆయనకు సమర్పించి బిగ్గరగా రోదించి వారిద్దరి యెదుట మూర్ఛిల్లెను (33). అపుడు ఆ మేనకు తెలివి వచ్చునట్లు చేసి శివుడు మేనా హిమవంతుల అనుమతిని పొంది దేవతలతో గూడి మహోత్సవముతో యాత్రను చేసెను (34). అపుడా దేవతలందరు శివుని గణములతో కూడి యాత్రను మొదలిడిరి. వారు మౌనముగా హిమవంతునకు మంగళాశాసనమును చేసిరి (35). హిమవంతుని నగరము యొక్క బాహ్యో ద్యానవనమునందు దేవతలు శివునితో గూడి ఉత్సాహముతో ఆనందముతో వేచియుండిరి. వారు పార్వతి రాకను ప్రతీక్షించుచుండిరి (36).
ఓ మహర్షీ! దేవతలతో గూడిన శివుని యాత్రను ఇంత వరకు వర్ణించితిని. వియోగ దుఃఖముతో మరియు ఆనందముతో కలిసియున్న పార్వతి యాత్రను ఇపుడు వినుము (37).
శ్రీ శివ మహాపురాణములోని రుద్ర సంహితయుందు పార్వతీ ఖండలో యాత్రను వర్ణించే ఏబదిమూడవ అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (53).

31. My dear daughter is devoted to your lotus-like feet in every birth. Even sleeping or awake she does not think about anything else.
32. O conqueror of death, even on hearing about your devotion she is filled with tears of pleasure and horripilation. On hearing your censure she becomes silent as though dead.
Brahmā said:—
33. Saying this, Menakā dedicated her daughter to Him and crying aloud became unconscious in front of them.
34. When she regained consciousness, Śiva took leave of her and the mountain and set on journey with the gods jubilantly.
35. The gods with the lord and His Gaṇas started on their journey silently. They wished the mountain well.
36-37. The lord and the gods waited in a part outside the city of Himavat for the arrival of Pārvatī there. O great sage, thus I have narrated the journey of Śiva. Now listen to the journey of Pārvatī and of her departure with festivities.

ఉదకములో నున్న ఆ వీర్యము బంగారు వర్ణము గల అండముగా అయెను. దానియందు స్వయంభు దైన బ్రహ్మ జనించెనని మేము వింటిమి.
భగవంతుడైన హిరణ్యగర్భుడు ఆ అండము నందు పరివత్సరము కాలముండి, దానిని రెండు వ్రక్కలుగా చేసి ద్యులోకమును, భూలోకమును నిర్మించెను ఆ రెండు వ్రక్కల మధ్మ యందు ఆకాశమును సృజించెను.
ఉదకము నుందు తేలుచున్న భూమిని, పది దిక్కులను సృజించెను. అచట కాలమును, మనస్సును, వాక్కును, కామమును, క్రోధమును, మరియు రతిని నిర్మించెను. ప్రజాపతి ఈ రాబోవు సృష్టిని పైన చెప్పిన ఆకాశాదులతో సంబంధించిన దానినిగా చేయదలచి, ముందుగా వాటిని సృజించెను.
మేఱుపులను, వజ్రమును (పిడుగును). మేఘములను, రక్తమును, ఇంద్రధనస్సును లేదా ఎఱ్ఱని రంగుగల ఇంద్రధనుస్సులను, పక్షులను వర్జన్యుని సృజించెను పిదప యజ్ఞసిదికొరకై ముఖమునుండి బుగ్యజుఃసామవేదములను సృజించెను.
ఆ వేదములచే సాధ్యులను, దేవతలను ఉద్దేశించి యజ్ఞము చేసెను. అనేక విధముల లగు భూతములను సృజించెను. భుజమునుండి సనత్కుమారుని, క్రోధమునుండి రుద్రుని సృజించెను. మరీచి, ఆత్రి, అంగిరసుడు, పులస్త్యుడు, పులహుడు. క్రతువు, వసిష్ఠుడు అనువారిని సృజించెను. ఈ ఏడుగురును బ్రహ్మమానసపుత్రు లగు బ్రహ్మ లని ప్రసిద్ది చెందిరి. ఈ సప్త బ్రహ్మలును. రుద్రులను ప్రజాసృష్టి చేసిరి.
తన దేహమును రెండు భాగములుగా చేసి. ఒక భాగము పురుసుడు గాను, మరొక భాగము స్త్రీగాను అయి బ్రహ్మ ఆమె యందు ప్రజలను సృజించెను.
అగ్ని మహాపురాణమునందు జగత్సృష్టివర్ణన మను సప్తదశాధ్యాయము సమాప్తము.

9-10. From that, Brahmā was born of his own accord, whom we know as the self-born (Svayambhū). Having lived (in it) for one full year, the Hiraṇyagarbha,[5] made that egg into two, the heaven and the earth. Between those two pieces, the lord created the sky.
11-13. The ten directions supported the earth floating on the waters. Then the lord of the beings (Prajāpati) desirous of creation, created time, mind, speech, desire, anger, attachment and other counter-parts. From the lightning he created thunder and clouds, the rain-bow and birds. He first created Parjanya (Indra). Then he created the Ṛk hymns (Ṛcaḥ), Yajur hymns (Yajūṃṣi) and the Sāman hymns (Sāmāni) for accomplishing the sacrifice.
14. Those who want to accomplish, worship devas with these (hymns). The higher and lower beings (were created) from the arms. He created Sanatkumāra and Rudra, born of anger.
15. He then created the sages Marīci, Atri, Aṅgirasa, Pulastya, Pulaha, Kratu, Vasiṣṭha, who are regarded as the:seven mind-born sons of Brahmā.
16. O! Excellent one! these seven (sages) procreated (many) beings and the Rudras. Having divided his body into two, he became a male with one half and a female with another. 'Then Brahmā procreated children through her (the female half).

*రామ పట్టాభిషేక సమయమున హనుమంతుని నవ్వు అట్లే అపార్థము కలిగించినది. అట్లే రాజసూయమున మయసభలో ద్రౌపది నవ్వు అపార్థము కలిగించినది. సామాన్యుల జీవితములందు అపార్థములు కోకొల్లలు. వాని ననుసరించి మాట లుండును. మాటలు బట్టి ఘర్షణ యుండును. పరమును స్పృశించిన వారియందే పశ్యంతి సత్యదర్శన మిచ్చును. అట్టి వారియందే భావములు సత్యమం దుండును. ఇట్లు సత్య స్వరూపిణిగ నుండు భావము మధ్యమ అని కొనియాడబడుచున్నది. అట్టి వారి భాషణము కూడ సత్యమునే ప్రకటించును.*
