*రోహిద్భూతాం సోఽన్వధావదృక్షరూపీ హతత్రపః॥*
*తాత్పర్యము : సృష్టికర్తయైన బ్రహ్మదేవుడు గూడ రజోగుణాతిశయముచే తన పుత్రికయైన సరస్వతీ దేవి యొక్క రూపలావణ్యములను జూచి మోహితుడయ్యెను. అతని దుష్ట సంకల్పమునకు భయపడి ఆమె లేడి (ఆడు జింక) రూపమున పారిపోసాగెను. అంతట అతడు సిగ్గువిడిచి, మగజింక రూపమును దాల్చి, ఆమె వెంట పరుగెత్తెను.*

*rohid-bhūtāṁ so 'nvadhāvad ṛkṣa-rūpī hata-trapaḥ*
*MEANING : At the sight of his own daughter, Brahmā was bewildered by her charms and shamelessly ran up to her in the form of a stag when she took the form of a hind.*
*PURPORT : Lord Brahmā's being captivated by the charms of his daughter and Lord Śiva's being captivated by the Mohinī form of the Lord are specific instances which instruct us that even great demigods like Brahmā and Lord Śiva, what to speak of the ordinary conditioned soul, are captivated by the beauty of woman.*
*Therefore, everyone is advised that one should not freely mix even with one's daughter or with one's mother or with one's sister, because the senses are so strong that when one becomes infatuated, the senses do not consider the relationship of daughter, mother or sister. It is best, therefore, to practice controlling the senses by performing bhakti-yoga, engaging in the service of Madana-mohana. Lord Kṛṣṇa's name is Madana-mohana, for He can subdue the god Cupid, or lust. Only by engaging in the service of Madana-mohana can one curb the dictates of Madana, Cupid. Otherwise, attempts to control the senses will fail.*

*మనకు ప్రతిదీ తెలిసినంత వరకు ఏదైనా తెలుసుకోవడం కష్టం. ఏదైనా పూర్తిగా తెలుసుకోవడం అంటే ప్రతిదీ పూర్తిగా తెలుసుకోవడం అని అర్థం. విశ్వ మనస్సు మాత్రమే అన్ని విషయాలను సరిగ్గా తెలుసుకోగలదు మరియు దాని తీర్పు మాత్రమే సరైనది అని పిలువబడుతుంది. 'కాబట్టి అర్జునా, నీ ఆలోచనలను బట్టి నువ్వు ఒక తరగతి మరియు వర్గానికి చెందిన మనిషి, అనేక ఇతర వ్యక్తులలో ఒక వ్యక్తి, వస్తుమయ ప్రపంచంలో ఇతర వస్తువుల నుండి వేరుగా ఉన్నారనే నీ భావన నిజం కాదు.' అందువల్ల, విలువల రూపాంతరం అవసరం.*
*వ్యక్తి సందర్భానికి అనుగుణంగా ముందుకు రావాలి. మరియు సందర్భం అనేది తీర్పు అనే ప్రక్రియలో తీర్పు ఇచ్చే కర్త ఖచ్చితంగా ఉంటారని అర్థం చేసుకోవడం. సరే, ఇది నిజం అయితే, ఈ పరిస్థితిలో వ్యక్తి యొక్క విధి ఏమిటి? ఆలోచనాపరుడు ఆలోచనతో విడదీయరాని వాడు అని అంగీకరించాలంటే ఒకరు నటించలేరు, కదలలేరు, బహుశా ఆలోచించలేరు. శ్రీకృష్ణుని సమాధానం, “అలా కాదు. ఇది మళ్ళీ ఒక వ్యక్తి యొక్క తీర్పు, ఆ స్థితిలో ఎటువంటి చర్య సాధ్యం కాదు. విశ్వమానవ స్థితిలో ఒకరు జడత్వంతో ఉంటారని, ఎలాంటి కార్యాచరణ సాధ్యం కాదని మనం ఊహించుకుంటున్నాం.*

*It is difficult therefore to know anything unless we know everything. To know anything completely would mean to know everything completely. Only the cosmic mind can know all things correctly, and its judgment alone can be called correct. “So Arjuna, your statements are based on your notion that you are a human being belonging to a class and category, an individual among many others, separate entirely from the objective world—which is not true.” Hence, a transvaluation of values becomes necessary.*
*The individual has to rise up to the occasion, and the occasion is the recognition of the involvement of the very judge himself in the circumstance of judgment. Well, if this is the truth, what is the duty of the individual under this condition? One cannot act, one cannot move, one cannot even think perhaps, if it is to be accepted that the thinker is inseparable from that which is thought. The answer of Sri Krishna is, “It is not like that. This again is an individual's judgment, that in that condition no action is possible.” We are imagining that in a cosmic state of things one would be inert, and no activity of any kind would be possible.*
