*మనకు వరుసగా హృదయము తండ్రి స్థానము, కాలము తాత స్థానము, శిరస్సు ముత్తాత స్థానములై యున్నవి. ఇట్లు నాలుగు వ్యూహములుగ శ్రీమాత యేర్పడు చున్నది. నాలుగవ వ్యూహమున మన మున్నాము. మనకు పూర్వము మూడు వ్యూహములున్నవి. ఈ నాలుగు వ్యూహములనే నలుగురు కుమారులు (సనక సనందన సనత్కుమార సనత్సుజాతులు) గా వర్ణింతురు. ఈ మహా విష్ణువు నాలుగు వ్యూహములని (వాసుదేవ, సంకర్షణ, ప్రద్యుమ్న, అనిరుద్ధ వ్యూహములు) కూడ వర్ణింతురు. పరమాత్మ, జీవాత్మ, బుద్ధి, మనస్సుగ కూడ ఈ నాలుగు వ్యూహములనే పేర్కొందురు. మనస్సునందుండు మనము బుద్ధి ప్రవేశముచేసి ఆత్మదర్శనము గావించి పరమాత్మ యందు లీనమగుట మార్గమని తెలియవలెను.*

*For us, the heart represents the position of the father, time represents the position of the grandfather, and the head represents the position of the great-grandfather. In this way, Śrī Māta manifests as four divine formations (Vyūhas). We exist in the fourth Vyūha, and before us, there are three preceding formations. These four Vyūhas are described as the four sages—Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanatkumāra, and Sanatsujāta. Similarly, in the concept of Mahā Viṣṇu, the four Vyūhas are known as Vāsudeva, Saṅkarṣaṇa, Pradyumna, and Aniruddha. These four Vyūhas are also described as the Supreme Soul (Paramātmā), the individual soul (Jīvātmā), intellect (Buddhi), and mind (Manas). It should be understood that by transcending the mind and entering the intellect, one attains the vision of the soul (Ātma Darśana) and ultimately merges into the Supreme Soul (Paramātmā).*
