🌻 404. 'భక్తహార్ద తమోభేద భానుమత్ భానుసంతతిః' - 1 🌻

భక్తుల హృదయములందుండు తమస్సును భేదించుటలో సూర్యుని వలెనూ, సూర్యకిరణముల పరంపరవలెనూ నుండునది శ్రీమాత అని అర్ధము. సత్త్వ రజస్తమో గుణములలో తమస్సు నీచమైనది. అనగా అథమ గుణము. తమస్సు అనగా అజ్ఞానమను చీకటి. అది జీవులలో బద్దకముగను, మొద్దు నిద్రగను, మరుపుగను, అశ్రద్దగను, నిర్లక్ష్యముగను, తిండిపోతు తనముగను గోచరించును. ఈ అలవాట్లకు లొంగినవారు అజ్ఞానమను చీకటి యందు పెనగులాడు చుందురు. కుంభకర్ణుడు దీనికి ఉదాహరణము.

తమోగుణము ప్రధానముగ నున్నప్పుడు దివ్య విషయముల యందు అనాసక్తియే కాక నిరాదరణ కూడ యుండును. హేళన భావ ముండును. ఇట్టివారు వెలుగును కూడ నిరాకరింతురు. వీరికి సూర్యుని వెలుగు సరిపడదు. సూర్య కాంతిలో తిరుగాడునప్పుడు త్వరితముగ అలసిపోవుదురు. ఉదయించు సూర్యుని కాంతికి వీరెన్నడునూ ఉన్ముఖులు కాలేరు. ఆ సమయమున వీరిని నిద్రాదేవి ఆవరించి యుండును.

It means that Sri Mata is like the Sun and the sunrays which will break the tamas in the hearts of disciples. Tamas is the lowest among the trigunas namely sattva rajas and tamas qualities. That means it is the worst. Tamas means ignorance and darkness. It expresses itself as laziness, the dull, sleepy, forgetful, heedless, negligent, the gluttonous among living beings. Those who succumb to these habits wallow in the darkness of ignorance. Kumbhakarna is an example of this.

When tamas is dominant, there is not only apathy but also disdain for divine things. There shall be a sense of sarcasm towards things. These people deny also the light. They cannot tolerate the Sun light. They get tired quickly when walking in the sunlight. They might never have seen the sunrise or the morning sunrays. At that time sleep would be covering them.

🕉. ప్రజలు మేలు చేసే వారుగా ఉంటారు. అది నిజమైన ధర్మం కాదు -- మభ్యపెట్టుకోవడం. 🕉

మంచి పనులు చేయడం గౌరవాన్ని తెస్తుంది, అది మీకు మంచి అహంభావాన్ని ఇస్తుంది. ఇది మీరు ముఖ్యమైన వ్యక్తి అని మీకు అనిపించేలా చేస్తుంది:, ప్రపంచంలోని దృష్టిలో మాత్రమే కాకుండా దేవుని దృష్టిలో కూడా అనుకుంటారు. మీరు చేసిన అన్ని మంచి పనులను మీరు చూపించి, భగవంతుడిని కూడా మీరు నిటారుగా నిలబడి ఎదుర్కొంటారు. ఇది మనం చూపించే అహంకారం, కానీ భక్తి తత్వం, మతతత్వం అహంకారమైనది కాదు.

🌻. హోమ విధి - అగ్ని కార్య కథనము - 3🌻

వర్ధనిలో కూడ బంగారు ముక్క ఉంచవలెను. దానిపై అస్త్రపూజ చేసి, దాని ఎడమ భాగమున, సమీపమునందే వాస్తులక్ష్మీ-భూవినాయకులను పూజింపవలెను. సంక్రాంత్యాదికాలములందు ఈ విధముగనే శ్రీమహావిష్ణువు స్నానాభిషేకముల ఏర్పాటు చేయవలెను.

మండపము యొక్క కోణములందును, దిక్కులందును ఎనిమిది కలశములను, మధ్యయందు ఒక కలశమును- మొత్తము భద్రములు లేని తొమ్మిది కలశములు-ఉంచి, వాటిలో పాద్యము, అర్ఘ్యము, ఆచమనీయము, పంచగవ్యములు వేయవలెను. పూర్వాదికలశములలో పైన చెప్పిన పస్తువులను, అగ్నికోణాదులందలి కలశములలో ఆ ద్రవ్యములతో పాటు పంచామృతయుక్తజలమును వేయవలెను. పెరుగు, పాలు, తేనె, వేడినీళ్ళు- ఇవి పాద్యాంగములు.

కమలములు, శ్యామాకము, దూర్వాదలములు, విష్ణుక్రాన్తోషధి అను నాలుగు వస్తులతో కూడిన జలము పాద్య మని చెప్పబడును, అర్ఘ్యమునకు కూడ ఎనిమిది అంగములు చెప్పబడినవి. అర్ఘముకొరకు యవలు, గంధము, ఫలములు, అక్షతలు, కుశలు, ఆవాలు, పుష్పములు, తిలలు సమకూర్చుకొనవలెను. జాతీ-లవంగ-కంకోలములతో కూడిన జలమును ఆచమనీయముగా ఇవ్వవలెను.

ఇష్టదేవతకు, మూలమంత్రము చదువుచు, పంచామృతస్నానము చేయించవలెన. మధ్య నున్న కలశమునుండి శుద్ధోదకమును గ్రహించి దేవుని శిరముపై చల్లవలెను. కలశనుండి వచ్చు జలమును, కూర్చాగ్రమును స్పృశింపవలెను. పిమ్మట శుద్ధోదకముతో పాద్య-అర్ఘ్య-ఆచమనీయములు సమర్పింపవలెను. వస్త్రముచే దేవతామూర్తిని తుడిచి, వస్త్రధారణము చేయించి, సవస్త్రకముగ మండలముమీదికి దీసికొని వెళ్ళవలెను.

అచట బాగుగా పూజచేసి, ప్రాణాయామపూర్వకముగ కుండాదులలో హోమము చేయవలెను. (హవనవిధానము) : రెండు చేతులు కడిగికొని, అగ్నికుండమునందు గాని, చేదిపై గాని మూడు పూర్వాగ్రరేఖలు గీయవలెను. వాటిని దక్షిణమునుండి ప్రారంభించి, ఉత్తరము వైపు గీయవలెను. మరల వాటిపై మూడు ఉత్తరాగ్రరేఖలు గీయవలెను. (వీటిని కూడ కుడినుండి ప్రారంభించి ఎడమకు గీయవలెను).

🌻 Mode of performing oblation - 3 🌻

17. One should worship the goddess of the building and the presiding deity of obstacles near it. In the same way, one should arrange for the consecration of Viṣṇu on the days of movement (of the sun from one stellar place to another), and other days (of importance).

18. Nine dentless jars full of water should be placed in the nine corners. One should offer water for washing the feet, arghya for rinsing the mouth and the pañcagavya.

19. The five sweet things, water etc. (are placed) in the east, north-east etc. The curd, milk, honey and hot water are the four constituents for the worship of the feet.

20. The lotus, śyāmāka (a kind of grain), dūrvā (grass) and the consort of Viṣṇu are for the worship of the feet. Together with barley seeds, perfumes, fruits and unbroken rice, this is spoken as constituting the eight articles for the worship of the feet.

21. The kuśa (grass), flowers of white mustard, sesamum (are) the articles (used) for adoration. One should offer waters for rinsing the mouth together with cloves and kaṅkola (berries).

22. One should bathe the deity with the five sweet materials along with (the recitation of) the principal mystic syllable. One should pour pure water on the head of the deity from the central pot.

23. The worshipper should touch water poured from the pitcher and the tip of the kūrcha (bunch of kuśa grass). One should offer pure water for washing the feet and arghya for sipping.

24. After having wiped the body with a cloth, the deity (adorned) with a cloth should be taken to the altar. Having worshipped him there, one should offer oblations in the sacrificial pit after having controlled breath.

25. Having washed hands, three lines running towards the east from the south to the north and three running towards the north are drawn.

శాన్తఘోరవిమూఢత్వమితి వా స్యాదహఙ్కృతేః

ఈ అహంకారానికే కర్తృత్వం (నేను చేస్తున్నాను), కరణత్వం (నా ఇంద్రియములతో చేస్తున్నాను), కార్యత్వం (నేను చేస్తే పని అవుతుంది). దీనికే మరో మూడు పేర్లు శాంతం (ప్రకాశకత్వం- ఒక వస్తువును చూపుట), ఘోరత్వము (చిత్త విక్షేపము, ఒకే సారి ఎన్నో ఆలోచనలు రావడం), మూఢత్వం (ఇది ఫలానా అని తెలియకపోవడం). ఈ మూడూ అహంకారానికి ఉంటాయి.

సత్త్వగుణ సంబంధము చేత శాంతత్వము, రాజస గుణ సంబంధము వలన ఘోరత్వము, తామస గుణ సంబంధము వలన మూఢత్వము, అనునవియును దీని లక్షణములే.
