*తాత్పర్యము : కౌముదీగద శ్రీహరికి అత్యంత ప్రీతిపాత్రమైనది. అది శత్రువీరులను నుగ్గునుగ్గు చేయగా వారి రక్తములతో తడిసి, అరుణ కాంతులను విరజిమ్ముచుండునట్టిది. ఆ స్వామి కంఠమునగల వనమాల పరిమళములకు ఆకర్షితములైన తుమ్మెదల ఝంకారములు అత్యంత మనోహరములు. ఆ పురుషోత్తముని గళసీమయందు విరాజిల్లుచుండెడి నిర్మలమైన కౌస్తుభమణి జీవులసత్త్వగుణమునకు ప్రతీక. అందువలన ఆ సర్వేశ్వరుని కౌమోదకీగదను, వనమాలను, కౌస్తుభమణిని హృదయపూర్వకముగా ధ్యానించవలెను.*

*28. kaumodakīṁ bhagavato dayitāṁ smareta digdhām arāti-bhaṭa-śoṇita-kardamena*
*mālāṁ madhuvrata-varūtha-giropaghuṣṭāṁ caityasya tattvam amalaṁ maṇim asya kaṇṭhe*
*MEANING : The yogī should meditate upon His club, which is named Kaumodakī and is very dear to Him. This club smashes the demons, who are always inimical soldiers, and is smeared with their blood. One should also concentrate on the nice garland on the neck of the Lord, which is always surrounded by bumblebees, with their nice buzzing sound, and one should meditate upon the pearl necklace on the Lord's neck, which is considered to represent the pure living entities who are always engaged in His service.*
*PURPORT : The yogī must contemplate the different parts of the transcendental body of the Lord. Here it is stated that the constitutional position of the living entities should be understood. There are two kinds of living entities mentioned here. One is called the arāti. They are averse to understanding the pastimes of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. For them, the Lord appears with His hand clutching the terrible mace, which is always smeared with bloodstains from His killing of demons. Demons are also sons of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. As stated in Bhagavad-gītā, all the different species of living entities are sons of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. There are, however, two classes of living entities, who act in two different ways. The Supreme Lord keeps on His neck those living entities who are pure, as one protects the jewels and pearls on the bosom and neck of one's body. Those living entities in pure Kṛṣṇa consciousness are symbolized by the pearls on His neck. Those who are demons and are inimical towards the pastimes of the Supreme Personality of Godhead are punished by His mace.*

*అప్పుడు వసుదేవుడు ఆ బాలుని తేరిపారచూచినాడు. ఆ బాలుడు ఆయనకు దివ్య రూపముతో దర్శనమునిచ్చినాడు. ఆ పిల్లవాడు మేఘవర్ణ శరీరమును కలిగియున్నాడు. అతడి పొడవైన నాలుగు బాహువులలో గద, శంఖము, చక్రము, పద్మము వెలుగొందుచున్నాయి. తామరపువ్వు రేకులవంటి కన్నులు, విశాలమైన వక్షఃస్థలము కలవాని కంఠములో కౌస్తుభరత్నపు కాంతులు వెలుగొందుచున్నాయి. అందమైన మొలత్రాడు, కంకణములు, బాహుపురులు ధరించియున్నాడు. శ్రీవత్సము అనెడి మచ్చ వక్షఃస్థలముపైన మెరుస్తున్నది. చెవులకు ఉన్న కుండలముల కాంతితో నుదుటి ముంగురులు వెలుగొందుతున్నాయి. మణులు, వైఢూర్యాలు పొదిగిన కిరీటము ధరించియున్నాడు.*
*ఆ బిడ్డడు బాలుడుగనే ఉన్నా ఈ దివ్య లక్షణముల న్నిటితోను పూర్ణచంద్రుని కాంతులు చిమ్ముతూ ఉన్నాడు. అతడు భక్తులందరిని రక్షించెడివాడు. సృష్టిలోని సుగుణములు అన్నియును అతని వద్దానుండియే పుట్టినవి. అతివిశాలమైన కరుణ కలవాడు.*
*అటువంటి బాలుని చూచిన వసుదేవుడు మళ్ళీ మళ్ళీ తేరిపారచూచి, పులకించి పోయాడు, ఆశ్చర్యపోయాడు, ఉప్పొంగిపోయాడు. ఆ పారవశ్యమునుండి తేరుకొని ఉత్సాహముతో నిలబడ్డాడు.*

*Vasudeva then saw the newborn child, who had very wonderful lotus-like eyes and who bore in His four hands the four weapons śańkha, cakra, gadā and padma. On His chest was the mark of Śrīvatsa and on His neck the brilliant Kaustubha gem. Dressed in yellow, His body blackish like a dense cloud, His scattered hair fully grown, and His helmet and earrings sparkling uncommonly with the valuable gem Vaidūrya, the child, decorated with a brilliant belt, armlets, bangles and other ornaments, appeared very wonderful.*

*వారు అపుడు పినాకధారియగు మహాదేవుని చుట్టు వారి యుండిరి. వారు సంకల్పమాత్రముచే చరాచర జగత్తును భస్మము చేయుటకు సమర్థులు (40). ఈ జగత్తు నంతనూ దహించుటకు వారే సమర్థులై యుండగా, త్రిపురనాశము కొరకు పినాకథారియగు శివుడు స్వయముగా వచ్చుటకు కారణమేమి? ఆ శివునకు రథముతో గాని, బాణముతో గాని, రుద్ర గణములతో గాని, దేవగణములతో గాని ప్రయోజనమేమి గలదు? (41). ఓ వ్యాసా! ఆ రాక్షసుల త్రిపురములను దహించుటకు ఆయన ఒక్కడే సమర్థుడు. అయినను ఆ పినాకపాణి స్వీయగణములతో, మరియు దేవగణములతో గూడి స్వయముగా బయలుదేరినాడు. ఇది అత్యాశ్చర్యము (42). ఓ మహర్షీ! ఆయన అట్లు చేయుటకు గల కారణమునుచెప్పెదను. ఆయన పరమపవిత్రమగు కీర్తిని లోకములో విస్తరింపజేయుట కొరకై అట్లు చూసెను (43). ఇట్లు చేయుటకు మరియొక కారణుము గలదు. దేవతలందరిలో సర్వోత్తముడు శివుడే గాని మరియొకడు గాడు అను నమ్మకము దుష్టులకు కలిగించుట కొరకై భగవానుడట్లు చేసెను (44).*

These were the important ones who were there—Keśa, Vigatavāsa, Mahākeśa, Mahājvara, Somavallīsavarṇa, Somapa, Sanaka, Somadhṛk, Sūryavarcas, Sūryapreṣaṇaka, Sūryākṣa, Sūrināman, Sura, Sundara, Praskanda, Kundara, Caṇḍa, Kampana, Atikampana, Indra, Indrajava, Yantṛ, Himakara, Śatākṣa, Pañcākṣa, Sahasrākṣa, Mahodara, Satijahru, Śatāsya, Raṅka, Karpūrapūtana, Dviśikha, Triśikha, Ahaṃkārakāraka, Ajavaktra, Aṣṭavaktra, Hayakāraka and Ardhavaktraka. These and other innumerable lords of Gaṇas who cannot be characterised and classified surrounded Śiva and went ahead.
40. They were capable of burning the entire world including the mobile and immobile beings, within a trice by their very thought. Surrounding Śiva, the great lord, they went ahead.
41. Śiva is capable of burning the entire world. Of what avail are the Gaṇas, gods, chariot, and arrows to Śiva in order to burn the three cities?
42. O Vyāsa, that trident-bearing lord, of wonderful power of causing enjoyment and protection, himself went there with his own Gaṇas and the gods to burn the three cities of the enemies of gods.
43. What the reason was, I shall tell you, O excellent sage. It was to make his glory known to all the worlds, the glory that dispels all sins and dirt.
44. Another reason was to convince the wicked, since there is none to excel him among the gods.

*ప్రేమ నుండి వినయం సహజంగా వచ్చినప్పుడు, అది చాలా అందంగా ఉంటుంది. కాబట్టి ఉనికితో ప్రేమలో పడండి - మరియు దానికి ప్రారంభం మీరు మీతో ప్రేమలో పడటం. ఒకసారి మీరు మీతో ప్రేమలో ఉంటే, మీరు చాలా మంది వ్యక్తులతో ప్రేమలో పడటం ప్రారంభిస్తారు మరియు ఆ స్థలం మరింత పెద్దదిగా మారుతుంది. ఒక రోజు మీరు అకస్మాత్తుగా మొత్తం అస్తిత్వం దానిలో చేర్చబడిందని, ప్రేమ ఇప్పుడు ప్రత్యేకంగా ఎవరితోనూ సంబోధించ బడదని, అది ఎవరినైనా తీసుకోవడానికి మాత్రమే ఉందని మీరు కనుగొంటారు. ఇది సరళంగా ప్రవహిస్తుంది. తీసుకెళ్ళేందుకు ఎవరూ లేకపోయినా ధారపోస్తుంది.*
*అప్పుడు ప్రేమ అనేది సంబంధం కాదు, అది ఒక స్థితి. ఆ స్థితిలో వినయం, నిజమైన వినయం ఉంటుంది. మహాత్ములు అలాంటి వినయం కలిగి వుంటారు. మతాధికారులు అలా వినయపూర్వకంగా ఉండరు. ఎవరైనా పేదరికాన్ని పెంపొందించు కోవచ్చు మరియు దాని గురించి చాలా అహంభావంతో ఉండవచ్చు, ఎవరైనా వినయాన్ని పెంపొందించుకోవచ్చు మరియు దాని గురించి అహంభావంగా మారవచ్చు. నిజమైన వినయం ప్రేమ యొక్క సువాసనగా పుడుతుంది. ఇది పండించ బడదు, పండించ బడితే మీరు దానిని ఆచరించలేరు. దానిని నేర్చుకునే మార్గం లేదు. మీరు ప్రేమలోకి వెళ్లాలి మరియు ఒక రోజు అకస్మాత్తుగా ప్రేమ వికసించినట్లు మీరు కనుగొంటారు - వసంతం వస్తుంది మరియు ప్రేమ వికసిస్తుంది. మీరు వినయంగా మారితే మీలో 'ఇంతకు ముందెన్నడూ లేని ఒక నిర్దిష్ట సువాసన ఉంటుంది.*

*🕉. Love is essentially humbleness--there is no other kind if humbleness. If humbleness is cultivated without love, it is just another trick if the ego. 🕉*
*When humbleness comes naturally out of love, then it is tremendously beautiful. So fall in love with existence--and the beginning is to fall in love with yourself. Once you are in love" with yourself you start feeling in love with many people, and by and by that space becomes bigger and bigger. One day you suddenly find that the whole of existence is included in it, that love is now no longer addressed to anybody in particular, that it is simply there for anybody to take-it is simply flowing. Even if nobody is there to take it, it is flowing.*
*Then love is not a relationship, it is a state of being. And in that state of being lies humbleness, true humbleness. Jesus is humble in that way; the pope is not humble. Somebody can cultivate poverty and become very egoistic about it, somebody can cultivate humbleness and become egoistic about it. To me, real humbleness arises as a fragrance of love. It cannot be cultivated, you cannot practice it, there is no way to learn it. You have to go into love and one day suddenly you find that love has flowered--spring has come and love has bloomed and "there is a certain fragrance that was never there before: You are humble.*

*ఇచ్ఛా లేమి నిర్భీజ నిర్వికల్ప సమాధి వంటిది. అది ప్రజ్ఞ స్థితి యందు ఇమిడిపోయిన స్థితి. రాయి రప్ప అట్లుండును. శివుడు కూడ అట్లే యుండును. ఈ నడుమ జరుగు నాటకమంతయు కామ స్వరూపమే. కామము దివ్య కామమై వుండవచ్చును. ఆసురమై యుండవచ్చును. సత్యకామమై యుండవచ్చును. కామమే సృష్టిని, జీవులను నడిపించు చున్నది. కోటానుకోట్ల జీవులు నిత్యము కదులుటకు కారణము కామమే. కామము లేనిదే చలనము లేదు. చలనము లేనిదే సృష్టి లేదు. ఇట్టి తత్త్వమునకు అధిదేవత శ్రీమాత అని తెలియవలెను. కామశక్తిని ఎట్లు వినియోగించిన ఫలితము లట్లుండును. సుఖ-దుఃఖములకు, లాభ - నష్టములకు, ఉన్నతి - పతనములకు కామమే కారణము. జీవుడు సృష్టియందు ఆరోహణము చెందుటకు, అవరోహణము చెందుటకు కామమే కారణము. శివుని చేరుటకు కూ డ కామమే సాధనము. శ్రీమాత శివకామినియై శివుని చేరినది. సృష్టికామినియై సృష్టిని నిర్మించినది. కామమును మించిన సాధనము లేదు.*

The whole drama that takes place in this middle is of desire. Desire can be divine, or demonic. It can be a desire for truth. Desire is what drives creation and living beings. Desire is the reason for the constant flux of billions of living beings. Without desire, there is no movement. There is no creation without motion. It should be known that Srimata is the lord of this philosophy. The result the desire depends on how it is used. Desire is the cause of happiness and sorrow, profit and loss, ups and downs. Desire is the reason for a living being to ascend and descend in creation. Desire is also the means to reach Shiva. Srimata joined Lord Shiva by desiring Lord Shiva. She manifested this creation by desiring it. There is no tool beyond desire.*
