*🌷. తాత్పర్యం : నేను అక్షరములలో ఆకారమును, సమాసములలో ద్వంద్వసమాసమును, శాశ్వతమైన కాలమును, సృష్టికర్తలలో బ్రహ్మను అయి యున్నాను.*
*🌻. భాష్యము : సంస్కృత అక్షరములలో తొలి అక్షరమైన ‘అ’ కారము వేదవాజ్మయమునకు ఆదియై యున్నది. ‘అ’ కారము లేకుండా ఏదియును ధ్వనింపదు గనుక, అది ధ్వనికి ఆదియై యున్నది. సంస్కృతమున అనేక సమాసపదములు గలవు. అందు “రామకృష్ణులు” వంటి ద్వంద్వపదము ద్వంద్వసమాసమనబడును. ఈ సమాసమున రాముడు మరియు కృష్ణుడు అను పదములు రెండును ఒకే రూపమును కలిగియున్నందున అది ద్వంద్వసమాసముగా పిలువబడినది.*

*🌹 Purport : A-kāra, the first letter of the Sanskrit alphabet, is the beginning of the Vedic literature. Without a-kāra, nothing can be sounded; therefore it is the beginning of sound. In Sanskrit there are also many compound words, of which the dual word, like rāma-kṛṣṇa, is called dvandva. In this compound, the words rāma and kṛṣṇa have the same form, and therefore the compound is called dual.*
*Among all kinds of killers, time is the ultimate because time kills everything. Time is the representative of Kṛṣṇa because in due course of time there will be a great fire and everything will be annihilated. Among the living entities who are creators, Brahmā, who has four heads, is the chief. Therefore he is a representative of the Supreme Lord, Kṛṣṇa.*

*ఆసనముపై ఆసీనుడై యున్న శివుని దివ్యమూర్తి ముప్పదిరెండు లక్షణములతో ప్రకాశించుచున్నదని చింతనము చేయుచు, శివస్మరణము చేయుచు, ''ఓం హాం హాం హాం శిమూర్తయే నమః'' అను మంత్ర ముచ్చరించుచు నమస్కారము చేయవలెను, బ్రహ్మాది కారణ త్యాగ పూర్వకముగు మంత్రమును శివుని యందు ప్రతిష్ఠితము చేయవలెను. లలాట మధ్య భాగమున చంద్రుడు వలె ప్రకాశించుచున్న బిందు రూప పరమ శివుడు హృదయాదు లగు ఆరు అంగములతో సంయుక్తుడై పుష్పాంజలిలోనికి దిగి వచ్చి నట్లు భావన చేసి ఆయనను పూజింపనున్న మూర్తియందు స్థాపించవలెను. పిమ్మట ఆవాహనీముద్రతో ''ఓం హాం హౌం శివాయ నమః'' అను మంత్ర ముచ్చరించుచు, మూర్తిపై శివుని ఆవాహనము చేయవలెను. స్థాపనీముద్రచే స్థాపనము చేసి, సంనిధాపనీముద్రతో సన్నిహితుని చేసి, సంనిరోధనీముద్రతో ఆ మూర్తి పై కదల కుండు నట్లు చేయవలెను. పిమ్మట ''నిష్ఠురాయై కాలకల్యాయై ఫట్‌'' అను మంత్రము ఉచ్చరించుచు ఖడ్గముద్రతో భయమును చూపుచు విఘ్నములను పారద్రోలవలెను.*
*పిమ్మట లింగముద్రను చూపి నమస్కారము చేయవలెను. 'నమః' అని అవగుంఠనము చేయవలెను. ఇష్టదేవతను తన వైపునకు అభిముఖముగ నున్నట్లు చేయుటయే ఆవాహనము. దేవతను అర్చా విగ్రహముపై కూర్చుండబెట్టుట స్థాపనము, ''ప్రభూ! నేను నీవాడను'' అని పలుకుచు భగవంతునితో అతి సన్నిహిత సంబంధము నేర్పరచుకొనుటయే సంనిధానము''. శివపూజకు సంబంధించిన కర్మకాండ అంతయు పూర్తి అగువరకు భగవత్సంనిధాన ముండునట్లు చేయుట ''నిరోధము'' భక్తులు కాని వారికి శివతత్త్వము తెలియకుండు నట్లు చేయుట అవగుంఠనము. పిమ్మట సకలీకరణము చేసి 'హృదయాయ నమః' ఇత్యాదిమంత్రములతో హృదయాద్యంగములకు అంగులతో ఏకత్వమును స్థాపించుటయే 'అమృతీకరణము' చైతన్య శక్తి శంకరుని హృదయము, ఎనిమిది విధములైన ఐశ్వర్యము శిరస్సు, వశిత్వము శిఖ, అభేద్యమగు తేజస్సు కవచము, దుస్సహమైన ప్రతాపమే సమస్త విఘ్నములను నివారించు అస్త్రము హృదయముతో ప్రారంభించి ''నమః, స్వధా, స్వాహా, వౌషట్‌ అనునవి ఉచ్చరించుచు పాద్యాదులను నివేదించవలెను.*

*🌻 Mode of worshipping Śiva (śivapūjā) - 8 🌻*
52-54. The image of Śiva possessing thirty-two characteristics (should be installed) at the centre. Hāṃ, haṃ, hāṃ (salutations) to the image of Śiva. After having meditated upon the self-luminant Śiva, the mantra should be led to the spot sacred to Śiva after leaving below the place sacred to Brahmā. Then (the worshipper) having meditated upon that Supreme form of Śiva, effulgent with the splendour of the moon, as a luminous point at the middle of the forehead and being invested with the six constituents, with flowers in folded palms, should deposit (those flowers) on the form of (Goddess) Lakṣmī.
55-57. Oṃ, hāṃ, hauṃ salutations to Śiva. (The deity) should be invoked with the invoking hṛd (mantra). Having established Śiva with the sthāpanī (mudrā)[3], and placed near (that) should be checked with Niṣṭhurā and Kālakāntī concluding with phaṭ. After having removed obstructions by sending them away and making obeisance by (showing) the liṅgamudrā, it should be covered with the hṛd (mantra). The invocation should follow it. Then standing in front of the image he-should repeat. “Let you be located and firmly established. O lord! I am in your presence.”
58. The (rite of) avaguṇṭhana signifies the presence and supervision of the God and the exhibition of one’s devotion (to the God) from the commencement to the end of the act.
59. After having done the accomplishing act with the six mantras, the (rite of) amṛtīkaraṇa should be performed by mentioning different parts of the body along with the body.
60-61. The worshipper should permeate his heart with the energy of consciousness of Śambhu (Śiva). Similarly, (he should. contemplate) the tuft of hair of Śiva as formed of the eightfold glories. The worshipper should contemplate the invincible energy of God as forming his armour, the unbearable prowess of God which removes all impediments (and the words) salutations, svadhā, svāhā and vauṣaṭ (should be appended) in. order.

Yogi is a person who is able to unite his individual consciousness with universal consciousness. A person totally devoid of ego is a yogi. All human beings have three types of bodies, gross, subtle and subtlest. Gross is the physical body, subtle body can be explained as the body conceived in the arena of mind and the subtlest of the three is the soul within.*
