*మహేశ్వరుడు పలికెను : పూజానంతరము, ఉపాసకుడు శరీరమును వస్త్రాదులతో ఆచ్ఛాదించుకొని, అర్ఘ్య పాత్రను చేత ధరించి, అగ్నిశాలలోనికి వెళ్ళి దివ్యదృష్టిచే యజ్ఞమున కావశ్యకములగు సమస్త ఉపకరణములను సమకూర్చు కొనవలెను. ఉత్తరాభి ముఖుడై అగ్ని కుండమును చూచి కుశలతో దానిని ప్రోక్షించి మార్జనము చేయవలెను. తాడనము (మార్జనము) అస్త్రమంత్రముతో (ఫట్‌) చేయవలెను. అభ్యుక్షణము కవచ మంత్రముతో (హుం) చేయవలెను. కవచమంత్రముచే (హుం) దానికి అభిషేకము, శరమంత్రముచే (ఫట్‌) భూకుట్టనము చేయవలెను. సంమార్జనము, ఉప లేపనము, కలాత్మ కరూపకల్పన త్రిసూత్రీపరిధానము, అర్చనము ఇవన్నియు కవచమంత్రముతోడనే చేయవలెను. కుండమునకు ఉత్తరమున మూడు రేఖలు గీయవలెను. ఒక రేఖ పూర్వాభిముఖమై క్రిందికి వచ్చు నట్లు గీయవలెను. రేఖలు కుశతో గాని, త్రిశూలముతో గాని గాయవలెను. లేదా ఆ రేఖ లన్నింటిని క్రిందుమీదుగా నున్నట్లు కూడ చేయవచ్చును.*
*అస్త్ర మంత్రము (ఫట్‌) నుచ్చరించి వజ్రీకరణము చేసి, 'నమః' ఉచ్చరించి కుశలచే చతుష్పథన్యాసము చేయవలెను. కవచమంత్రము (హుమ్‌)తో అక్షపాత్రను, హృదయమంత్ర (నమః) విష్టరమును స్థాపించవలెను. ''వాగీశ్వర్యైనమః'' ''ఈశాయ నమః'' అను మంత్రము లుచ్చరించి వాగీశ్వరిని, ఈశుని ఆవాహన చేసి పూజించవలెను. పిమ్మట మంచి స్థానమునుండి అగ్నిని, శుద్ధమైన పాత్రలో నుంచి తీసికొని వచ్చి, దాని నుండి, ''క్రవ్యాదమగ్నిం ప్రహిణోమి దూరమ్‌'' ఇత్యాది మంత్రము పఠించుచు క్రవ్యాదాంశమైన అగ్నికణమును తొలగించవలెను. పిమ్మట నిరీక్షణాదులచే శోధిత మగుఔదర్య-ఐన్దవ-భౌత-అగ్నిత్రయమును ఏకము చేసి ''ఓం హూం వహ్నిచైతన్యాయ నమః'' అను మంత్ర ముచ్చరించి అగ్ని బీజముతో (రం) స్థాపించవలెను.*

*🌻 Mode of installation of the fire (agni-sthāpana) - 1 🌻*
The God said:
1. (The worshipper) should enter another room unseen with the vessel containing water for offering in his hand and should look to the arrangements of the materials essential in the performance of a sacrifice, as it were, with a divine eyesight.
2. He should look at the sacrificial pit with his face turned. towards the north. The sprinkling and beating the water with the kuśa should be done by (repeating) the mantra of the weapon and the consecration should be done with the mantra of the armour.
3. The digging out (a piece of earth), filling and levelling with the sword should be done with (the mantra of) the armour and bathing and division into parts (should be done) with the mantra of the arrow.
4. The (rites of) cleansing, anointing, fixing the crescent. form, investiture of the sacred thread and worship (should be done) always by the mantra of the armour.
5. Three lines should be drawn in the north and one below them (should be drawn) so as to face the east. Whatever defects, in them may be made good by touching them with the kuśa and the astramantra of Śiva.
6. A quadrilateral figure should be. drawn with the kuśa by the mantras of vajrīkaraṇa (establishing.firmly) and hṛd. The vessel for the rosaries should be laid with (the mantra of) the armour. The seat should be laid with the hṛd mantra.
7-8. The Goddess of speech along with the God should be invoked therein and worshipped. The consecrated fire brought from a holy place and placed in a pure receptacle, after leaving aside its parts presided over by the demons and purified by the divine look etc., the three fires audārya, aindava and bhauta should be made into one.

*‘ఒకటి కోరుకోబడింది’ అంటే కోరుకున్నది ఉనికిలో ఉందని అర్థం. మనం దయనీయంగా ఉన్నామంటే సంతోషం ఉందని అర్థం. అసంపూర్ణత యొక్క స్పృహ పరిపూర్ణత యొక్క అవకాశాన్ని సూచిస్తుంది. తనను తాను పరిమితంగా గుర్తించుకోవడమంటే ఒక్కసారిగా అనంతంలో అడుగు పెట్టడమే. పరిమితత్వం తెలిసినప్పుడు, ఆ తెలుసుకున్న వ్యక్తి దానిని అధిగమించగలగటం యొక్క అవకాశం దానిలో సూచించబడుతుంది. అనంతానికి విరుద్ధంగా తప్ప పరిమితానికి ప్రాముఖ్యత లేదు.*

*An analysis of the nature of the world discloses its dependence on a reality higher than its own. It is subject to a teleological direction of its movements towards an end beyond itself. Dissatisfaction with the superficial experiences which one has in life is a tacit admission of a higher standard of reality. Every want, every wish and ambition, every type of wonder, surprise or mystery, every sense of a ‘beyond oneself’ suggests the existence of something outside the limitations which it indicates.*
*‘Something is wanting’ means that what is wanted exists. That we are miserable shows that there is an ideal of happiness. The consciousness of imperfection implies the possibility of perfection. To recognise the finitude of oneself is to step at once into the realm of the infinite. When finitude is known, the fact of the contingency of the knower’s transcending it is implied in it. The finite has no significance except in contradistinction to the infinite.*

*🌴. In the sacrifice of self-purification, impure knowledge which arises from the activities of the mind and senses in the wakeful, dream and deep sleep states and which causes ignorance, delusion and bondage should be offered as food in the sacrifice of self-purification 🌴*
*Śiva sūtra I.2 said Jñānam bandhaḥ, which was explained as Knowledge here means the knowledge derived through sensory organs, the knowledge acquired through experience. This knowledge is different from supreme knowledge. Supreme knowledge is the experience of the mind and not derived through sensory experience. Knowledge conceived, nurtured and manifested by the mind remains uncontaminated with temporal matters such as bondage. This is where pure consciousness is consecrated that is referred in the previous sūtra.*
