బాహ్య ప్రపంచ విషయముల నుండి సులభముగ విడుదల కలిగి అంతరంగ దివ్యానుభూతియందు, దాని మూలమైన చిత్తము నందు స్థిరము చెంది, దీర్ఘమగు ప్రశాంతిని పొందును.

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-
అటు పిమ్మట వజ్రాంగుని ప్రియురాలగు ఆ వరాంగి గర్భమును ధరించెను. ఆ శిశివు ఆమె గర్భములోపల అనేక సంవత్సరములు గొప్ప తేజస్సుతో వర్ధిల్లెను(1). తరువాత , గర్భధారణ సమయము పూర్తి కాగానే ఆ సుందరి పెద్ద శరీరము గలవాడు, గొప్ప బలశాలి, పది దిక్కులను ప్రకాశింప జేయుచున్న వాడునగు కుమారుని కనెను. (2).
ఆ సుందరికి దేవతలకు దుఃఖమును కలిగింపబోవు ఆ బాలుడు పుట్టుచుండగా , అదే సమయములో పీడను కలిగించు గొప్ప ఉత్పాతములు కలిగినవి (3). రాబోవు అనర్థమును సూచించు మూడు రకముల ఉత్పాతములు ద్యులోకమునందు, భూలోకమునందు, మరియు అంతరిక్షమునందు కూడ కలిగెను. అవి సర్వప్రాణులకు భీతిని గొల్పెను. వాటిని నేను వివరించెదను(4).
భయమును కలిగించే ఉల్కలు, పిడుగులు గొప్ప శబ్దమును చేయుచూ పడినవి దుఃఖమును కలిగించే క్రూర జంతువులు పుట్టజొచ్చినవి(5).
భూమి, దానితో బాటు పర్వతములు కపించినవి . దిక్కులన్నియూ మండినవి . సర్వనదులతో బాటు సముద్రములు విశేషించి క్షోభను పొందినవి(6). తుఫాను గాలులే సైన్యముగా కలిగినట్టియు, ధూళియే ధ్వజముగా గల వాయుదేవుడు పెద్ద శబ్ధమును విచిత్ర ధ్వనులను చేయుచూ. సర్శ చేతనే పీడను కలిగించుచూ, పెద్ద వృక్షములను పెకలించుచూ వీయజొచ్చెను(7).
రాహువుతో కూడిన సూర్య చంద్రుల చుట్టూ తరచుగా కాంతి మండలము లేర్పడెను. ఓ ద్విజశ్రేష్ఠా! సుఖమును అపహరించు ఈ ఉత్పాతములు రాబోవు మహాభయమును సూచించుచుండెను(8).
ఆ సమయములో కొండ గుహలనుండి భయమును కలిగించే రథశబ్దమును పోలియున్న శబ్దము గల భూకంపములు పుట్టినవి(9). ఆమంగళకరములగు నక్కలు నోటినుండి నిప్పులను గ్రక్కుచూ గ్రామముల మధ్యలో కర్ణ కఠోరమగు శబ్దములను చేసినవి. వీటికి గుడ్ల గూబల ధ్వనులు తోడయ్యెను(10). కుక్కలు ఇటునటుల తిరుగుచూ శిరస్సులను పైకెత్తి నేలను తన్నుచూ ఒకప్పుడు సంగీతమును, మరియొకప్పుడు ఏడ్పులను చేయుచూ అనేక శబ్దములను చేసినవి(11). వత్సా! ఆ సమయములో మదించిన గాడిదలు గుంపులు గుంపులుగా ఇటునటు పరుగెత్తుచున్నవై కర్కశముగా ఓండ్రపెట్టుచున్నవై గిట్టలతే నేలను తన్నుచుండెను.(12)
భీకరశబ్ధములచే భయమును చెందిన పక్షులు ఏడ్చుచూ గూళ్లనుండి ఎగిరిపోయినవి. అవి ఒకచోట స్థిరముగా కుర్చుండలేకపోయినవి(13). పశువులు ఎవరో కొడుతున్నారా యన్నట్లు పశువులశాలలో గాని, అడవిలో గాని స్ధిరముగా నుండలేక ఇటునటు తిరుగుతూ మలమూత్రములను విసర్జించినవి(14). గోవులు భయముచే వ్యాకులితములై కనులవెంబడి నీరు గార్చుచూ పాలకు బదులుగా రక్తమును స్రవించినవి. మేఘములు భయము కలుగు విధముగా చీమును వర్షించినవి(15). దేవతా ప్రతిమలు ఎగిరిపడుతూ రోదించినవి. గాలి లేకుండగనే చెట్లు నేల గూలినవి. ఆకాశమునందు గ్రహముల మధ్య రగడ చెలరేగెను.(16)

505. C.W.L. – You enter into a partnership of joy, but it brings also terrible toil and profound sadness, says the Master’s note. All of that is true, but it is also true that the ever-increasing joy counterbalances the sadness.
506. Every student who has developed his faculties fully is, by the hypothesis, a sympathetic man; he must pass through a period of sadness and almost of despair, because of all the sorrow and suffering which he sees.
Because people are backward in evolution and are not yet reasonable, there is in evidence much more of suffering and sorrow, of anger, hatred, jealousy, envy and the like than of high virtues, so that there is a preponderance of unpleasant vibrations from humanity. This shows itself in the astral world, so that any man who becomes fully developed astrally becomes at the same time aware of the sorrow and trouble of the world – aware of it only in a vague way, but it is ever present with him as a weight resting upon him.
Constantly individual instances of the astral sorrow and suffering which happen to occur in his neighbourhood also press strongly upon him. In addition any catastrophe involving a great deal of sorrow to a large number of people distinctly influences the astral atmosphere of the world.
507. The student has to learn how to receive that without being weighed down by it, and that takes a considerable time. He gradually learns to look more deeply, and as time goes on he begins to see that all this trouble is necessary under the circumstances which men themselves have created. The suffering that comes is a necessity because of their great carelessness and laxity.
If men had been a little more careful a very great part of it could easily have been avoided. I have mentioned before that the real suffering brought to us by karma from past lives is perhaps a tenth of that which comes to us, and the other nine-tenths is the result of our own wrong attitude here and now, in this life. In that sense there is a vast amount of entirely unnecessary suffering.
But the other side of the shield is that while people persist in taking the wrong attitude, in thinking and acting foolishly, under the eternal law suffering must come upon them; in an indirect way that is distinctly good, because it is bringing them to a sense of their own folly. The pity is that they need so very much reminding, that they cannot at once take the hint and alter their attitude – so much suffering might be saved if that could be.
508. This seems to all of us who have studied the matter very easy to see. I cherish a hope, therefore, and I think a well-founded hope, that the suffering of the world will diminish very rapidly as soon as the common-sense view of things is accepted by a fairly large minority of people.
They will come to see that they are making their own trouble for themselves, and in process of time they will refrain from all that is undesirable, purely from the common-sense point of view. Members of the Theosophical Society ought to be displaying before the world an example of the Theosophical attitude towards life, but there are many of them who, although they know these truths, find it hard to put them into practice.

Think hard, apply your mind and try to recollect the moment when the knowledge 'I am' first appeared spontaneously and you came know that 'you are'. If this is hard, then try to observe what happens the next time you wake up from deep sleep.
The 'I am', space and the world appear almost simultaneously, in one stroke, and then everything else takes over and the fact that those three have 'appeared' on you is obliterated.
What is it that is holding this perception of yours? Is it not the 'I am'? As long as the 'I am' is there you will perceive the space and world. If the 'I am' departs both will disappear.

*🍀 1 . ILLUMINATION 🍀*
The moment you are illuminated, the whole if existence is illuminated. If you are dark, then the whole if existence is dark. It all depends on you.
There are a thousand and one fallacies about meditation prevalent all around the world. Meditation is very simple: It is nothing but consciousness. It is not chanting, it is not using a mantra or a rosary.
These are hypnotic methods. They can give you a certain kind of rest-nothing is wrong with that rest; if one is just trying to relax, it is perfectly good. Any hypnotic method can be helpful, but if one wants to know the truth, then it is not enough.
Meditation simply means transforming your unconsciousness into consciousness. Normally only one-tenth of our mind is conscious, and nine-tenths is unconscious. Just a small part of our mind, a thin layer, has light; otherwise the whole house is in darkness. And the challenge is to grow that small light so much that the whole house is flooded with light, so that not even a nook or corner is left in darkness.
When the whole house is full of light, then life is a miracle; it has the quality of magic. Then it is no longer ordinary- everything becomes extraordinary. The mundane is transformed into the sacred, and the small things of life start having such tremendous significance that one could not have ever imagined it.
Ordinary stones look as beautiful as diamonds; the whole of existence becomes illuminated. The moment you are illuminated, the whole of existence is illuminated. If you are dark, then the whole of existence is dark. It all depends on you.
