*పుత్ర, కళత్ర, గృహములందు అసంగత్వముగా వారియెడ ఎట్టి ప్రేమను కలిగియుండరాదని భావముకాదు. వాస్తవమునకు ప్రేమకు అవియన్నియును సహజ లక్ష్యములు. కాని ఆధ్యాత్మికపురోగతికి వారు అనుకూలము గాకున్నచో మనుజుడు వారియెడ ఆసక్తిని కలిగియుండరాదు.*
*సుఖదుఃఖములనునవి భౌతిక జీవనమునకు అనుబంధమైన విషయములు. కనుక గీత యందు ఉపదేశింప బడినట్లు వాటిని సహించుటను అలవరచు కొనవలెను. సుఖదుఃఖముల రాకపోకలను నిరోధించుట అసాధ్యము గనుక మనుజుడు భౌతిక జీవన విధానమునందు ఆసక్తిని విడనాడ వలెను.*

*🌹 Purport : The principle of accepting a spiritual master, as mentioned in the eighth verse, is essential. Even for one who takes to devotional service, it is most important. Transcendental life begins when one accepts a bona fide spiritual master. The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, clearly states here that this process of knowledge is the actual path. Anything speculated beyond this is nonsense.*
*As for detachment from children, wife and home, it is not meant that one should have no feeling for these. They are natural objects of affection. But when they are not favorable to spiritual progress, then one should not be attached to them.*
*Happiness and distress are concomitant factors of material life. One should learn to tolerate.*

*శంఖచూడుడిట్లు పలికెను- దేవతలకు రాజ్యము నీయను. రాజ్యము (భూమి) వీరులు అనుభవింప దగినది. ఓ రుద్రా! దేవపక్షపాతివగు నీకు యుద్ధమును ఇచ్చెదను. (18) శత్రువునకు తనపై దండెత్తే అవకాశము నిచ్చు వీరుడు ఈ లోకములో అధముడు. ఓరుద్రా! కావున నేను ముందుగా నీపై దండెత్తెదను. దీనిలో సందేహము లేదు (19). నా జైత్రయాత్రను పరిశీలించినచో, నేను రేపు తెల్లవారు సరికి అచటకు చేరగలను. నీవు వెళ్లి నా ఈ వచనమును రుద్రునకు చెప్పుము (20). శంభుని దూతయగు పుష్పదంతుడు గర్వితుడగు శంఖచూడుని ఈ వచనములను విని నవ్వి ఆ రాక్షసరాజుతో నిట్లనెను (21). ఓ రాజశేఖరా! శంకరుని గణముల యెదుట నైననూ నిలువగలిగే యోగ్యత నీకు లేదు. ఇక శంకరుని ఎదుట నిలబడుట గురించి చెప్పునదేమున్నది? (22). కావున నీవు అధికారములనన్నిటినీ దేవతలకు అప్పజెప్పుము. ఓరీ! నీకు జీవించు కోరిక ఉన్నచో, పాతాళమునకు పొమ్ము (23). ఓ రాక్షసశ్రేష్ఠా! శంకరుడు సామాన్య దేవతయని తలంచుకుము. ఆయన సర్వులకు, మరియు ఈశ్వరులకు కూడ ఆధీశ్వరుడగు పరమాత్మ (24).*
*ఇంద్రాది సమస్త దేవతలు, ప్రజాపతులు, సిద్ధులు, మునులు, మరియు నాగశ్రేష్ఠులు ఆయన ఆజ్ఞకు నిత్యము వశవర్తులై ఉందురు (25). బ్రహ్మ విష్ణువులకు ప్రభువగు ఆయన సగుణుడు, నిర్గుణుడు కూడా అగుచున్నాడు. ఆయన కనుబొమను విరిచినంతమాత్రాన సర్వలోకములకు ప్రళయము వాటిల్లును (26). లోకములను సంహరించే రుద్రుడు శివుని పూర్ణస్వరూపుడు. వికారములు లేని ఆ పరాత్పరుడు దుష్టులను సంహరించి సత్పురుషులకు శరణు నొసంగును (27). ఆ మహేశ్వరుడు బ్రహ్మ విష్ణువులకు కూడ అధీశ్వరుడు. ఓ దానవశ్రేష్ఠా! ఆయన శాసనమును తిరస్కరించుట తగదు (28).*

18. I will never return the kingdom to the god. The earth shall be enjoyed by heroic warriors. O Śiva, I shall fight with you who are a partisan of the gods.
19. The hero who allows another to supercede him is the basest in the world. Hence O Śiva I shall certainly march towards you just now.
20. I reach there in the morning in the course of my victorious campaign. O messenger, go and tell all this to Siva.
Samtkumāra said:—
21. On hearing these words of Śaṅkhacūḍa, the emissary of Śiva laughed aloud and then spoke haughtily to the lord of the Asuras.
Puṣpadanta said:—
22. O Great king, you cannot face the Gaṇas of Śiva. Then how can you face lord Śiva himself?
23. So return their positions of authority to the gods entirely. Move immediately to Pātāla if you wish to live.
24. O excellent Dānava, do not regard Śiva an ordinary deity. He is indeed the great soul, the lord of the lord of all.
25. Indra and other gods abide by his commands. The Siddhas, the patriarchs, the sages and the serpent lords all follow suit.
26. He is the overlord of Viṣṇu and Brahmā. He is both possessed and devoid of attributes. By a mere twitch of his knitted eyebrow everything is dissolved.
27. Śiva is the perfect form of gods, the cause of the annihilation of the worlds, the goal of the good, the destroyer of the wicked. He is free from aberrations. He is greater than the greatest.
28. He is the overlord of Brahmā. He is lord Śiva even into Viṣṇu. O excellent Dānava, his behest should never be slighted.

*🕉 గుర్తుంచు కోవలసిన ముఖ్యమైన విషయం ఏమిటంటే, విజ్ఞానం (నాలెడ్జ్‌) జ్ఞానం కాదు, అలా ఉండదు కూడా; అంతే కాదు, ఇది జ్ఞానానికి వ్యతిరేకం, ఇది వివేకం తలెత్తకుండా నిరోధించే అవరోధం. 🕉*

So it is possible for a person to be not at all informed and yet be wise. It is also possible for a person to be very much informed and still be very unwise. *అన్ని దిక్కుల యందు ముఖము కలది శ్రీమాత అని అర్థము. సహస్రమను సంఖ్యను 10 x 10 × 10గ గుర్తించవచ్చును. పదిమార్లు ఆరోహణము చేసినపుడు ఒక పూర్ణమగు స్థితి లభించును. అట్టిది నూరుమార్లు పూర్ణ స్థితిగ ఊహించినచో వేయి సంఖ్య అనగా ఎంతటి పరిపూర్ణమో తెలియును. వేయి దళములు, వేయి శబ్దములు, వేయి రంగులు, వేయి అక్షరములు, వేయి ఆయుధములు యిట్లు ఊహించినపుడు, ఊహించు వాడు కరగిపోవుటయే జరుగును. ఇచ్చట పది దిక్కుల యందును, ఉన్ముఖముగ నున్న శ్రీమాత ముఖములు వర్ణింపబడినవి. అనగా విశ్వమునంతనూ ఒక్కమారుగ దర్శనము చేయు శక్తి అని తెలియవలెను. అన్ని దిక్కులను ఏక కాలమున అనుగ్రహించు మాత అని తెలియ వలెను.*
