🌻 411. 'శిష్టేష్టా’- 1 🌻

శిష్టుల యందు ప్రియత్వము కలది శ్రీమాత అని అర్థము. ధర్మబుద్ధి గలవారు శిష్టులు. ధర్మము నాచరించుట శిష్టాచారము. ఆచారము నుండే ధర్మము వ్యక్తమగు చుండును. సదాచారము ధర్మమును పుట్టించును. ధర్మము సదాచారమును కాపాడుచుండును. అట్టి ధర్మమును బోధించువాడు గురువు, పాలించు వాడు ప్రభువు. విష్ణువు ప్రభువు. శివుడు గురువు. ఒకరు ధర్మమును బోధింపగ మరియొకరు ధర్మమును పాలింతురు.

ధర్మ స్వరూపము ఆత్మసాక్షిగ ప్రతి వ్యక్తియందు వుండును. ఆత్మావలోకనము, ఆత్మ పరిశీలనము ప్రతినిత్యము చేసుకొనువారికి లోనుండియే తప్పొప్పులు తెలియ బడును. అట్టివారు కర్మాచరణమున ధర్మము నందు చపలత్వము లేక ప్రవర్తింతురు. ధర్మము నందే యుండుటకు ప్రయత్నింతురు, ప్రార్థింతురు.

🌻 411. 'Sishteshta'- 1 🌻

It means Shree Mata who is loved by the pious. Pious are the righteous. To practice righteousness is being pious. Virtue manifests itself from ritual. A pious ritual brings about dharma. Dharma preserves and protects the ritual. The one who teaches such dharma is the Guru, and the one who governs it is the Lord. Vishnu is the Lord and Shiva is the teacher. One teaches the Dharma and the other governs it.

The embodiment of Dharma is present in every self-conscious person. Those who do introspection and self-examination will know their mistakes from within. So they shall not behave with carelessness in following dharma. They try and pray to be righteous.

🕉. వస్తువులతో ఎలా సంబంధం కలిగి ఉండాలో, ఎలా సంబంధం పెట్టుకోవాలో మీకు తెలిసినప్పుడు, మీ జీవితమంతా మారిపోతుంది. 🕉

🕉. When you know how to relate--even how to relate with things - your whole life changes. 🕉

When you put on your shoes you can relate with those shoes in a very friendly way, or you can just be indifferent, or even inimical. Nothing will be different for the shoe, but much will be different for you. Don't miss any opportunity to be loving. Even putting on your shoes, be loving. Those moments of being full of love will be helpful to you. Relate with things as if they are persons. People are doing just the reverse-they relate with people as if they are things. A husband becomes a thing, a child becomes a thing, a wife becomes a thing, a mother becomes a thing.

People completely forget that these are living beings. They use and manipulate. But you can relate even to things as if they are persons -even with the chair you can have a certain loving relationship, and so with the trees and with the birds and with the animals and with people. When your quality of relating changes, the whole of existence attains a personality. Then it is no longer impersonal, indifferent-an intimacy arises.

హయగ్రీవుడు చెప్పెను : బ్రహ్మ! ఇపుడు నేను విష్ణ్వాదిదేవతా ప్రతిష్ఠను గూర్చి చెప్పెదను; సావధానముగ వినుము. ఈ విషయము నేను చెప్పిన పంచరాత్రసప్తరాత్రములను ఋషులు మానవలోకమునందు ప్రచారము చేసిరి. అవి మొత్తము ఆదిహయశీర్షతంత్రము, త్రైలోక్యమోహనతంత్రము, వైభవతంత్రము, పుష్కరతంత్రము, ప్రహ్లాద తంత్రము, గార్గ్యతంత్రము, గాలవతంత్రము, నారదీయతంత్రము, శ్రీ ప్రశ్నతంత్రము, శాండిల్యతంత్రము, ఈశ్వర తంత్రము, సత్యతంత్రము, శౌనకతంత్రము, వసిష్ఠోక్త జ్ఞానసాగరతంత్రము, స్వాయంభువతంత్రము, కాపిలతంత్రము. తారక్ష్య (గారుడ) తంత్రము, నారాయణీయతంత్రము, ఆత్రేయతంత్రము, నారసింహా తంత్రము, ఆనంద తంత్రము, బౌధాయన తంత్రము, అష్టాంగ తంత్రము, విశ్వతంత్రము అని ఇరువది యైదు తంత్రములు.

ఈ తంత్రముల ప్రకారము - మధ్యదేశాదులలో జనించిన ద్విజుడు దేవతాగ్రహముల ప్రతిష్ఠ చేయవలెను. కచ్ఛదేశము, కావేరీతటవర్తిదేశము, కోంకణదేశము, కామరూప-కలింగ-కాంచీ-కాశ్మీరదేశములు-వీటియందుపుట్టిన బ్రాహ్మనుడు దేవ ప్రతిష్ఠాదికము చేయరాదు. ఆకాశము, వాయువు, తేజస్సు, జలము, పృథివి అను మహాభూతములే పంచరాత్రములు, చేతనాశూన్యములై, అజ్ఞానంధకారముచే కప్పబడినవి పంచరాత్రరహితములు, ''నేను పాపవిముక్తుడనైన పరబ్రహ్మను, విష్ణువును'' అను భావన కలవాడే దేశికుడు అగును. అతడు బాహ్యలక్షణములు వేషాదికము ఏవియు లేకున్నను తంత్రవేత్త యైన ఆచార్యుడుగా చెప్పబడినాడు.

🌻 Preparations of ground for constructing temples - 1 🌻

Hayagriva said:

1. O Brahman! Listen to me speaking about the installation of (images of) Viṣṇu and others. (The principles of) Pañcarātra[1] and Saptarātra have (already) been described by me.

2-5. They have been divided by the sages into twenty-five (books) in this world. Hayaśīrṣa tantra is the first one. Trailokyamohana, Vaibhava, Pauṣkara, Prahlāda, Gārgya, Gālava, Nāradīya, Śrīpraśna, Śāṇḍilya, Aiśvara, spoken by Satya, Śaunaka, Vāsiṣṭha, Jñānasāgara, Svāyambhuva, Kāpila, Tārkṣya, Nārāyaṇīyaka, Ātreya, Nārasiṃha, Ānanda, Aruṇa, Baudhāyana, and the one spoken by Viśva as the quintessence of that (the preceding), having eight parts (or the other books).

6-7. A brahmin born in the middle country may perform installation (rite). Those who were born in Kaccha (Cutch), (in the regions of the river) Kāverī, Koṅkaṇa, Kāmarūpa, Kaliṅga, Kāñcī, Kāśmīra, Kosala should not (do installation). The sky, wind, radiance, water, and earth are the pañcarātra.

8. Those other than the pañcarātra are inanimate and engulfed in darkness. He is the preceptor who has the knowledge “I am brahman and stainless Viṣṇu”.

By the interaction of fire and the visual sensation, the subtle element taste evolves under a superior arrangement. From taste, water is produced, and the tongue, which perceives taste, is also manifested.

The tongue is described here as the instrument for acquiring knowledge of taste. Because taste is a product of water, there is always saliva on the tongue.
