*పుష్ణాతి యేషాం పోషేణ శేషభుగ్యాత్యథః స్వయమ్॥*
*తాత్పర్యము : మాయామోహితుడైన వాడు పెక్కుచోట్ల తిరిగి తిరిగి పడరాని పాట్లుపడి అన్యాయముగా సంపాదించిన ఆ డబ్బుతో తన కుటుంబ సభ్యులను పోషించును. ఈసురోమని ఇంటికి చేరిన పిమ్మట అతడు భుజించుటకు వారు తినగా మిగిలిన మెతుకులే గతి యగును (ఒక్కొక్కసారి అవిగూడ దొరకవు) అట్లు చేసిన పాపకర్మ ఫలితముగా అతనికి నరకమే ప్రాప్తించును.*
*వ్యాఖ్య : 'నేను ఎవరి కోసం దొంగిలించానో వాడు నన్ను దొంగ అని నిందిస్తాడు' అనేది బెంగాలీ సామెత. బంధంలో ఇరుక్కున్న వ్యక్తి చాలా నేరపూరిత మార్గాల్లో ప్రవర్తిస్తే కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ఎప్పుడూ సంతృప్తి చెందరు. భ్రమలో ఒక బంధ వ్యక్తి కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు అటువంటి సేవ చేస్తాడు. కానీ వారికి సేవ చేయడం ద్వారా అతను జీవితంలో నరకప్రాయమైన స్థితిలోకి ప్రవేశించవలసి ఉంటుంది. కుటుంబాన్ని పోషించడానికి ఏ విధంగానైనా డబ్బు సంపాదించినా, అతను తినగలిగే దానికంటే ఎక్కువ తినలేడు మరియు కొన్నిసార్లు కుటుంబ సభ్యులు భోజనం చేసాక, అతను మిగిలిపోయిన అవశేషాలను మాత్రమే తింటాడు కూడా. అన్యాయమైన మార్గాల ద్వారా డబ్బు సంపాదించడం ద్వారా కూడా, అతను తన కోసం జీవితాన్ని అనుభవించలేడు. ఇదే మాయ యొక్క భ్రమ.*
*సమాజం, దేశం మరియు సమాజానికి భ్రమ కలిగించే సేవా ప్రక్రియ ప్రతిచోటా సరిగ్గా ఒకే విధంగా ఉంటుంది. పెద్ద జాతీయ నాయకులకు కూడా ఇదే సూత్రం వర్తిస్తుంది. తన దేశానికి సేవ చేయడంలో గొప్ప జాతీయ నాయకుడు కొన్నిసార్లు సక్రమంగా సేవ చేయని కారణంగా అతని దేశస్థులచే చంపబడతాడు. మరో మాటలో చెప్పాలంటే, సేవ తన రాజ్యాంగ స్థానమైనందున సేవ నుండి బయటపడలేనప్పటికీ, ఈ భ్రాంతికరమైన సేవ ద్వారా తనపై ఆధారపడిన వారిని సంతృప్తి పరచలేడు. ఒక జీవి దర్మబద్ధంగా పరమాత్మలో భాగమై ఉంటుంది, కానీ అతడు సర్వోన్నతమైన వ్యక్తికి సేవ చేయాలనే విషయాన్ని మరచిపోయి ఇతరులకు సేవ చేయడంపై తన దృష్టిని మళ్లిస్తాడు; దీనినే అసలైన మాయ అంటారు.*

*10. arthair āpāditair gurvyā hiṁsayetas-tataś ca tān*
*puṣṇāti yeṣāṁ poṣeṇa śeṣa-bhug yāty adhaḥ svayam*
*MEANING : He secures money by committing violence here and there, and although he employs it in the service of his family, he himself eats only a little portion of the food thus purchased, and he goes to hell for those for whom he earned the money in such an irregular way.*
*PURPORT : There is a Bengali proverb, "The person for whom I have stolen accuses me of being a thief." The family members, for whom an attached person acts in so many criminal ways, are never satisfied. In illusion an attached person serves such family members, and by serving them he is destined to enter into a hellish condition of life. To maintain a big family and earn money by any means to support that family, but he himself is not offered more than what he can eat, and sometimes he eats the remnants that are left after his family members are fed. Even by earning money by unfair means, he cannot enjoy life for himself. That is called the covering illusion of māyā.*
*The process of illusory service to society, country and community is exactly the same everywhere; the same principle is applicable even to big national leaders. A national leader who is very great in serving his country is sometimes killed by his countrymen because of irregular service. In other words, one cannot satisfy his dependents by this illusory service, although one cannot get out of the service because servant is his constitutional position. A living entity is constitutionally part and parcel of the Supreme Being, but he forgets that he has to render service to the Supreme Being and diverts his attention to serving others; this is called māyā.*

*స్వయం అనేది స్వయం ప్రకాశవంతమైనది మరియు సద్బుద్ధి కలది. స్వయంప్రకాశం లేదా స్వీయ-చైతన్యం లేని జీవి అయిఉంటే, అది స్వయం ప్రకాశవంతంగా ఉన్న మరొక జీవి ద్వారా ఒక వస్తువుగా గుర్తించబడాలి. కానీ ఆత్మ స్వయం ప్రకాశవంతంగా ఉండకపోతే, జ్ఞానం యొక్క మూలం కోసం మన అన్వేషణకు అంతం ఉండదు. ఎందుకంటే స్వయం ప్రకాశం కాని ఆత్మ వెనుక స్వయం ప్రకాశవంతమైన మరొక ఆత్మ ఉండి ఉంటుంది అని మనం దానిని అన్వేషిస్తాము. తద్వారా ఒక దాని వెనక పరుగులు పెడుతూ మనం జ్ఞానానికి మూలమైన స్థానాన్ని ఎప్పటికీ కనుగొనలేము. ఆత్మ క్షణికమైనది కాదు, ఎందుకంటే క్షణికమైనది నశించగలదు. అది జ్ఞానానికి మూలం కాలేదు.*
*క్షణికం యొక్క ఆభాస అనేది కాలం నడుస్తున్న కొద్దీ అందులో వస్తువు చెందే మార్పుల వల్ల కలుగుతుంది. అంటే ఆత్మ కానీ, చైతన్యం కానీ క్షణికం కావు. కానీ చైతన్యం లో ఈ వస్తువుల యొక్క కాలానుగుణమైన మార్పు వల్ల క్షణికత అనుభూతిలోకి వస్తుంది. ఈ క్షణిక పార్శ్వాలను చైతన్యం వస్తువులుగా పరిగణిస్తుంది. బయటి వస్తువుల లాగా ఆత్మ యొక్క అస్తిత్వానికి బాహ్య ఆధారాలు ఉండవు.*

*The Self is of the nature of self-luminosity and intelligence. If the Self were something other than a self-illumined or self-conscious being, it would have to be known as an object by another being which ought to be self-luminous. But if the Self is not at all to be self-luminous, we would be led to an infinite regress of positing a self behind self, so that there would be no end of our search for the origin of knowledge. The Self is not momentary in nature, for what is momentary is destructible and cannot be the source of knowledge.*
*The perception of momentariness is due to a succession of the appearance of objects at different instants of time. It is not the Self or the consciousness that is momentary, but the perception of objects determined by the nature of the appearance of objects to consciousness. Momentary elements are what are known by consciousness as its objects. The Self is not made manifest by external proofs as outward things are.*

*🌴. By dissolving the impurities in the nadis and removing the blockages in them, one gains the power to control, dissolve and separate the elements in oneself and in creation. 🌴*
*Nāḍī – bodily channels through which prāṇa flows; saṁhāra – withdraw; bhūta – gross elements; jaya – subjugation; kaivalya – isolation; pṛthaktvāni (pṛthaktva) – detachment.*
*Further guidance is given to control the mind in this sūtra. Nāḍīsaṁhāra means withdrawing the flow of prāṇa from other channels and making it to flow through suṣumna. If this is practiced, it leads to bhūtajaya, subjugation of gross elements and subsequent isolation of mind (bhūta-kaivalya) from gross elements. This detachment (bhūta-pṛthaktva) is to be contemplated through thought process.*
