*తాత్పర్యము : ఏ పని చేసినను, ఏమి భుజించినను, ఎట్టి హోమములు గావించినను, ఎట్టి దానము లొనర్చినను, ఎట్టి తపస్సులు చేసినను నా కర్పణము చేయుము.*
*వివరణము : తానే సృష్టి నిర్మాణము గావించి, అనేకానేక దేహ నిర్మాణములు గావించి, వానియందు తానే జీవునిగ ప్రవేశించి క్రీడ చూపుచున్నాడు. తన వలెనే జీవులను కూడ ఆనందింపుడని సంకేతించు చున్నాడు. కనుక ఈ సమస్తము అతడిదే. మనము కూడ అతని పరివారమే. అంతేకాదు, అతని నుండి ఏర్పడిన మాయ కూడ అతనిదే. కనుక అంతయు అతనికి సమర్పణ చేసి జీవించుట నిజమగు ఎరుక. అట్టి ఎరుక లేకుండుట వలన జీవుడు చిక్కుపడును. కనుకనే దైవము, తనకు సమర్పణ చేసుకొని జీవించమని అర్జునునకు బోధించుచున్నాడు.*

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -
పిమ్మట ఆ పర్వతరాజు ప్రీతితో ఉత్సాహముతో శివ పార్వతులకు వేదమంత్ర పూర్వకముగా ఉపవీతములను ధరింప జేసెను(1). అపుడు విష్ణువు మొదలగు దేవతలు, మునులు హిమవంతుని ప్రార్థనను మన్నించి కుతూహలముతో ఆయన అంతః పురమునందు ప్రవేశించిరి (2). వేదాచారమును, లోకాచారమును యథావిధిగా ఆచరించి, శివుడిచ్చిన అలంకారములతో పార్వతిని అలంకరింపజేసిరి(3). ఆమెను స్నానము చేయించి తరువాత దేహమును అంతటా అలంకరించి నీరాజనము నిచ్చిరి (4).
పర్వతాధీశుని కుమార్తె, శంకరుని ప్రియురాలు, బ్రహ్మచారిణి అగు పార్వతి విడదీయబడని జంట వస్త్రములను ధరించి ప్రకాశించెను (5).
ఓ మునీ! గొప్పగా ప్రకాశించే ఆ దేవి అనేక రత్నములను పొదుగుటచే అద్భుతముగా నున్న శ్రేష్ఠమైన దివ్యమగు రవికెను ధరించెను (6). మరియు ఆమె దివ్యమగు రత్నములతో చేయబడిన హారమును, మిక్కిలి విలువైన, శుద్ధమగు బంగారముతో చేయబడిన గాజులను ధరించెను (7). పర్వతాధీశుని కుమార్తె, ముల్లోకములకు తల్లి అగు ఆ సుందరి అచటనే నిలబడి మనస్సులో శివుని ధ్యానము చేయుచూ మిక్కిలి ప్రకాశించెను (8).
అపుడు రెండు వైపుల వారికి ఆనందమును కలిగించే మహోత్సవము ప్రవర్తిల్లెను. బ్రాహ్మణులకు విభిన్నదానము లీయబడెను (9). ఇతరులకు వివిధ వస్తువులు, మరియు అధికమగు ధనము ఈయబడెను. గీతములతో, వాద్యములతో మరియు వినోదములతో గూడిన ఉత్సవము ప్రవర్తిల్లెను (10). అపుడు విష్ణువు, బ్రహ్మనగు నేను, ఇంద్రాది దేవతలు, మునులు అందరు మహోత్సాహముతో, మహానందముతో (11), శివునకు భక్తి పూర్వకముగా ప్రణమిల్లి, శివుని పాదపద్మములను స్మరించి, హిమవంతుని ఆజ్ఞను పొంది తమ తమ నివాసములకు చేరు కొంటిమి (12).

Summary: The ceremonious entry of Śiva into the inner apartments of the palace of Himavat.
Brahmā said:—
1. Then the chief of mountains caused the investiture rite with the sacred thread for Pārvatī and Śiva with the Vedic hymns recited enthusiastically.
2. Then Viṣṇu, the other gods and the sages entered the inner apartments of the palace of the mountain enthusiastically at the request of Himācala.
3. After performing the conventional rites in accordance with the Vedic injunctions and the social customs they decorated Pārvatī with the ornaments provided by Śiva.
4. First of all she was bathed, then bedecked with the ornaments. The Nīrājana rites too were also performed by the maids and brahmin women.
5. The daughter of the mountain and the beloved of Śiva, the lovely lady shone with the pair of fresh clothes.
6. O sage, an exquisite divine jacket studded with various gems was worn by the goddess who shone all the more.
7. She wore a necklace studded with divine gems. Costly bangles of pure gold were worn by her.
8. The lovely lady, the daughter of the great mountain, the mother of the three worlds staying there itself meditated on Śiva and shone thereby.
9. Then there was great jubilation delighting both the sides. Different kinds of charitable gifts were distributed among the brahmins.
10. Monetary gifts were distributed among others. They were diverse. Many songs were sung jubilantly.
11. Then Viṣṇu, I the creator, Indra and other gods as well as the sages joined in jubilation with great pleasure.
12. Then after bowing humbly to Pārvatī with devotion and remembering the lotus-like feet of Śiva they returned to their camps obtaining the permission of Himavat.

It is pure oneness, and there is no duality. Ordinarily it is difficult even to conceive of this state. Unless you taste it, it is difficult even to understand it. Because all that we can understand needs at least two things; the opposite is a must. We can understand the figure only because of the background.*
*We call this moment night because of the day, we call somebody good because of the bad, we call somebody beautiful because of the ugly. The opposite is a must; the opposite defines it. But anand means the state in which there is no opposite, when you have come to the one, when there is no possibility of the other. The ocean of bliss has only one shore. It is very illogical-because how can there be only one shore? The state of bliss is illogical. Those who are too attached to logic can never achieve it. Only for crazy people does it open its door.*

*మాయ వలన జీవుడు తాను వేరుగ నున్నాడని భావించును. ఈ భావన ఆధారముగ జీవుడు ఆశ పడును. ఆశపడుట వలన పాశ మేర్పడును. పాశ మనగా పా, ఆశ్ ధాతువుల సమాహారము. ఆశ గలవా రగుటచేత జీవులు పాశాబద్ధు లగుచుందురు. ఆశాపాశము ఒకదాని నొకటి బలపరచు కొనుచు జీవుని పశువును బంధించునట్లు బంధించును. ఆకలి, దప్పిక, పూరింప లేని కోరికలు ఇత్యాదివి కలిగి బంధింపబడును. ఇట్టి పాశములనుండి రక్షింప గలిగినది శ్రీమాతయే. కోరికలతో తిరుగాడు జీవునకు శివునిపై కోరిక కలిగించి పాశముల నుండి విమోచనము కలిగించును. దైవమును చేరగోరు సంకల్పమే శివము.*

*🌻 354-2. Paśu-pāśa-vimocanī पशु-पाश-विमोचनी 🌻*
*Liṅga Purāṇa says paśu-s are the individual souls and pāśa is the bondage and such bondage of paśu-s are destroyed by Paśupatī, the Lord of all paśu-s (Śiva).*
*It is better to know a little more on paśu as this word is more frequently used in many Upaniṣads. Śiva Sutra I.2 says jñānam bandhaḥ. Jñānam means vitiated knowledge and bandhaḥ means bondage. Limited knowledge is ignorance. Ignorance is the cause for bondage that veils the true Brahman. This phenomenon is called āṇava mala. Mala has been explained as ignorance that hampers the free expression of the Brahman. Āṇava mala means innate ignorance of the soul. Āṇava is the word derived from the root aṇu which means the empirical individual.*
*This āṇava mala is subdivided into two. The first one is the ignorance innate in the very being of the individual Self and other is ignorance inherent in the intellect or buddhi. The āṇava mala is the cause of bondage. Those who are afflicted by such āṇava mala undergo birth and death. This nāma says that She removes this āṇava mala for Her devotees, which is a precondition for final liberation.*
