*ఇక ధర్మాత్ములైన బ్రాహ్మణుల గూర్చియు, భక్తుల గూర్చియు, రాజర్షుల గూర్చియు వేరుగా చెప్పవలెనా! అందుచే అనిత్యమును, అసుఖమును అగు ఈ లోకమునకు వచ్చియున్నందున నా ప్రేమయుక్తసేవలో నియుక్తుడవగుము.*
🌷. భాష్యము :
*భౌతికజగమున జనులలో పలువర్గములున్నను వాస్తవమునకు వారెవ్వరికినీ ఈ జగము సుఖకరమైన ప్రదేశము కాదు. కనుకనే “అనిత్యమ్ అసుఖం లోకమ్” అని స్పష్టముగా తెలుపబడినది. అనగా ఈ భౌతికజగత్తు అశాశ్వతము, దుఃఖపూర్ణమునై సజ్జనుడైనవాడు నివసించుటకు యోగ్యము కాకున్నది. ఈ జగము శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానునిచే అశాశ్వతమైనదిగను మరియు దుఃఖపూర్ణముగను ప్రకటింపబడగా, కొందరు తత్త్వవేత్తలు (ముఖ్యముగా మయావాదులు) దీనిని మిథ్యగా వర్ణింతురు. కాని గీత ప్రకారము జగత్తు ఆశాశ్వతమే గాని మిథ్య కాదు. మిథ్యత్వము మరియు అనిత్యత్వముల నడుమ భేదము కలదు. భౌతికజగము అశాశ్వతము. కాని దీనికి పరమైన వేరొకజగము నిత్యమైనది. అలాగుననే ఈ జగము దుఃఖపూర్ణము. కాని దీనికి పరమైన జగము నిత్యమైనది మరియు ఆనందపూర్ణమైనది.*
*అర్జునుడు రాజర్షుల వంశములో జన్మించినట్టివాడు. అతనికి సైతము “నా భక్తియోగమును చేపట్టి శీఘ్రమే నా ధామమును చేరుము” అని శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ఉపదేశమొసగియుండెను. అనగా దుఃఖపూర్ణము మరియు ఆశాశ్వతమైన ఈ లోకముననే ఎవ్వరును నిలిచిపోరాదు. ప్రతియొక్కరు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని ఆశ్రయించి నిత్యానందమును పొందవలెను. అన్ని తరగతుల జనుల సమస్యలు పరిష్కరింపబడుటకు ఆ దేవదేవుని భక్తియోగమే ఏకైక విధానము. కనుక ప్రతియొక్కరు కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావనము అలవరచుకొని తమ జీవితమును పూర్ణము కావించుకొనవలెను.*

*In this material world there are classifications of people, but, after all, this world is not a happy place for anyone. It is clearly stated here, anityam asukhaṁ lokam: this world is temporary and full of miseries, not habitable for any sane gentleman. This world is declared by the Supreme Personality of Godhead to be temporary and full of miseries. Some philosophers, especially Māyāvādī philosophers, say that this world is false, but we can understand from Bhagavad-gītā that the world is not false; it is temporary. There is a difference between temporary and false. This world is temporary, but there is another world, which is eternal. This world is miserable, but the other world is eternal and blissful.*
*Arjuna was born in a saintly royal family. To him also the Lord says, “Take to My devotional service and come quickly back to Godhead, back home.” No one should remain in this temporary world, full as it is with miseries. Everyone should attach himself to the bosom of the Supreme Personality of Godhead so that he can be eternally happy. The devotional service of the Supreme Lord is the only process by which all problems of all classes of men can be solved. Everyone should therefore take to Kṛṣṇa consciousness and make his life perfect.*

*🌻Mode of consecration of tanks and ponds (kūpa-pratiṣṭhā) - 2 🌻*
11. Having invoked lustre in them the priest should be offered a golden cow. (The image of) Varuṇa should be consecrated with the (waters of the) pitcher on the east with (the recitation of) samudrajyeṣṭhā.[7]
12-13. The waters of the Ganges should be poured with (the mantra) samudraṃ gaccha[8], rain waters with somo dhenum[9], water from waterfalls with devīrāpa[10], the water of the masculine rivers with pañca nadyaḥ[11], the spring water with udbhid[12], the waters from sacred places with pāvamānī[13], the pañcagavya (the five things from a cow) with āpo hi ṣṭhā[14] and from the golden (pitcher) with hiraṇyavarṇām[15].
14. (The image should be bathed) with rain water with āpo asmā[16], with well waters [i.e., kūpa] with the vyāhṛtis (bhuḥ, bhuvaḥ, suvaḥ). (Image of) Varuṇa should be consecrated with the waters of the tank with varuṇādbhiḥ[18].
15. Waters from the hills (should be poured) with (the mantra) āpo devī[19] and then with the waters from eighty-one pitchers. Then (the image) should be bathed with varuṇasya[19] and waters for sipping (should be given) with tvanno varuṇa[20].
16-17. The madhuparka[21] should be given) with the vyāhṛtis,[22] clothes with bṛhaspat[23], pavitra with varuṇa[24], the upper garment with praṇava (Om).
Flowers etc. chowrie, mirror, umbrella, fan and banner should be offered to (the image of) Varuṇa with (the mantra) yadvāruṇya[25].
18. The image should be raised up with the principal mantra (saying) ‘Rise up’ and the preliminary consecration is made that night. The presence of divinity is accomplished by varuṇaṃ ca[26]. It should be worshipped with yadvāruṇya.[27]
19-20. Life should be infused into the image with the principal mantra and should again be worshipped with perfume etc. Having worshipped it well in the shed as before after having offered twigs etc. into the fire pits with (the recitation of the praṇava) the first word of the Vedas, four cows should be milched. in the four directions. Then gruel of barley should be prepared, and offered to the fire.

*garbhaḥ - foundational ignorance. The cause of this ignorance is māyā or illusion; citta –mind; vikāsa – satisfaction; aviśiṣṭa - viśiṣṭa means excellent and by prefixing a, the meaning of viśiṣṭa is negated. Therefore aviśiṣṭa means inferior; vidyā – knowledge; svapnaḥ - dream.*
*An afflicted mind influenced by dualism is the cause for inferior knowledge which is referred as foundational ignorance. Knowledge is of two kinds and both unfold in the arena of mind as any experience can happen only in the mind. Therefore mind is considered as the cardinal factor in spiritual progression. One is the spiritual mind and another is the mundane mind. The essential factor that distinguishes the two is non-dualism.*
