*తాత్పర్యము : నడుము నందలి సువర్ణమయమైన కటిసూత్రము (కటి ఆభరణము) అందములను వెదజల్లుచుండును. భక్తుల హృదయకమలము ఆ ప్రభువునకు ఆసనము. ఆ స్వామి యొక్క శాంత స్వరూపము దర్శనీయమై మానసోల్లాసమును గూర్చుచు నయనానందకరముగా ఉండును.*
*వ్యాఖ్య : ఈ శ్లోకంలో ఉపయోగించబడిన దర్శనీయతమం అనే పదానికి అర్థం భగవంతుడు చాలా అందంగా ఉన్నాడని, భక్తుడు-యోగి ఇంకేమీ చూడకూడదనుకుంటాడు. అందమైన వస్తువులను చూడాలనే అతని కోరిక భగవంతుని దర్శనంతో పూర్తిగా తీరుతుంది. భౌతిక ప్రపంచంలో మనం అందాన్ని చూడాలనుకుంటున్నాము, కానీ కోరిక ఎప్పుడూ సంతృప్తి చెందదు. భౌతిక కలుషితం కారణంగా, భౌతిక ప్రపంచంలో మనం అనుభవించే అన్ని ప్రవృత్తులు ఎప్పుడూ సంతృప్తి చెందవు. కానీ మన కోరికలు చూడటం, వినడం, స్పర్శించడం మొదలైనవాటిని భగవంతుని తృప్తి కోసం ఉపయోగించినప్పుడు, అవి అత్యున్నతమైన పరిపూర్ణత స్థాయిలో ఉంటాయి.*

*16. kāñcī-guṇollasac-chroṇiṁ hṛdayāmbhoja-viṣṭaram*
*darśanīyatamaṁ śāntaṁ mano-nayana-vardhanam*
*MEANING : His loins and hips encircled by a girdle, He stands on the lotus of His devotee's heart. He is most charming to look at, and His serene aspect gladdens the eyes and souls of the devotees who behold Him.*
*PURPORT : The word darśanīyatamam, which is used in this verse, means that the Lord is so beautiful that the devotee-yogī does not wish to see anything else. His desire to see beautiful objects is completely satisfied by the sight of the Lord. In the material world we want to see beauty, but the desire is never satisfied. Because of material contamination, all the propensities we feel in the material world are ever unsatisfied. But when our desires to see, hear, touch, etc., are dovetailed for the satisfaction of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, they are on the level of the topmost perfection.*
*Although the Supreme Personality of Godhead in His eternal form is so beautiful and pleasing to the heart of the devotee, He does not attract the impersonalists, who want to meditate on His impersonal aspect. Such impersonal meditation is simply fruitless labor. The actual yogīs, with half-closed eyes, fix on the form of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, not upon anything void or impersonal.*

*ఇహలోకములో రాజ్యమును, పరలోక సుఖములను గోరు రాజు సాధు రక్షణను చేయవలెను. లోకములన్నింటికీ రాజువు నీవు గనుక, శీఘ్రమే రక్షింపుము (44). ఓ దేవ దేవా! ఈశ్వరా! మహర్షులు, ఇంద్రుడు, దిక్పాలకులు, యజ్ఞములు, వేదములు, శాస్త్రములు మొదలగునవి, మరియు సమస్త దేవతలు నీ రాజ్యములోని పౌరులు అగుదురు. విష్ణువు కూడా వారిలో ఒకడు. ఇది నిశ్చయము (45). ఓ ప్రభూ! నీవు దేవతలకు సార్వభౌముడవు. సమ్రాట్టు నీవే. నీవు సర్వేశ్వరుడవు. విష్ణువుతో సహా ఈ జగత్తు అంతయూ నీపరి వారమే గదా! (46). పుట్టుక లేవివాడా! విష్ణువు నీకు యువరాజు. బ్రహ్ననగు నేను నీకు పురోహితుడను. నీ ఆజ్ఞను పాలించే ఇంద్రుడు నీకు రాజకార్యములను చక్కబెట్టు మంత్రి వంటివాడు (47). సర్వమును పాలించు వాడా! నీ శాసనముచే నియంత్రింపబడే ఇతర దేవతలు కూడా నిత్యము తమ తమ కర్తవ్యముల ననుష్ఠించెదరు. ఇది ముమ్మాటికీ సత్యము. సందేహము లేదు (48).*
*సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను -*
*బ్రహ్మ యొక్క ఈ మాటను విని పరమేశ్వరుడు, దేవతలను రక్షించు వాడునగు శంకరుడు ప్రసన్నమగు మనస్సు గలవాడై బ్రహ్మకు ఇట్లు బదులిడెను (49).*
*శివుడిట్లు పలికెను -*
*ఓ బ్రహ్మా! నేను దేవతలకు ప్రభువునని, సమ్రాట్‌ నని నీచే కీర్తింపబడితిని. సరే. ఆ రాక్షసులను సంహరించే సామగ్రి ఏదియూ నా వద్ద లేదు. నేను సమర్థుడనే. కాని ఏ సాధనములను నేను స్వీకరించవలెను? (50) సారథితో కూడిన మహాదివ్యమగు రథము లేదు. యుద్దములో జయమును కలిగించే ధనస్సు, బాణములు మొదలగు సాధనములైననూ లేవు (51). నేను ఏ ధనర్భాణములను చేపట్టదగును? నేను మనస్సును లగ్నము చేసి ధనుర్బాణములను చేపట్టి యుద్దములో మహాబలశాలురగు రాక్షసులనైననూ సంహరించగల్గుదును (52).*
*సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను -*
*అపుడు బ్రహ్మ, ఇంద్రుడు, విష్ణువు మరియు ఇతర దేవతలు ప్రభుని ఆ వాక్యమును విని మిక్కిలి ఆనందించిరి. వారు మహేశ్వరునకు నమస్కరించి ఇట్లు పలికిరి (53).*
*దేవతలిట్లు పలికిరి -*
*ఓ దేవ దేవా! మహేశ్వరా! స్వామీ! యుద్ధమునకు సంసిద్దముగా నుండే రథాది సాధనములుగా మారి మేము నీకు తోడ్పడెదము (54). దేవతలందరు ఒకచో గూడి శివుని అభిలాషను అర్థము చేసుకొని ఆనందించిరి. వారు చేతులను జోడించి ప్రసన్నమగు మనస్సుతో పై విధముగా వేర్వేరుగా విన్నవించు కొనిరి (55).*
*శ్రీ శివమహాపురాణమయులోని రుద్రసంహితయందలి యుద్ధఖండములో శివస్తుతి యను ఆరవ అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (6).*

46. O lord, you are the emperor of all deities, the lord of all. Viṣṇu and the entire universe constitute your retinue.
47. Viṣṇu is your heir-apparent, O unborn one, I, Brahmā, am your priest and Śukra who carries out your behests is the Royal officer.
48. The other gods too, O lord, are subjects to your control. They continue to perform their own duties. True. It is undoubtedly true.
Sanatkumāra said:—
49. On hearing the words of Brahmā, Śiva, the delighted lord of the gods replied to Brahma.
Śiva said:—
50. O Brahmā, if I am to be proclaimed the emperor of the gods, I do not have the paraphernalia characteristic of my lordship.
51. I do not have a divine chariot and a divine charioteer. I do not possess bows and arrows which accord victory in a battle.
52. If there had been a chariot I could have sat in it and with bow and arrows I could have killed even powerful Asuras, with a resolute determination.
Sanatakumāra said:—
53. On hearing these words of the lord, the gods including Brahmā, Indra and Viṣṇu were delighted. After bowing to him they spoke to lord Śiva.
The gods said:—
54. O lord of the gods, O great god, we shall constitute those paraphernalia—chariot etc. O lord, we are ready for the battle.
55. After saying so jointly after realising Śiva’s wish they, the delighted gods, severally told him so, with palms joined in reverence.
